Abstract

The implementation of good governance principles in public service delivery is a fundamental requirement for achieving effective, accountable, and citizen-oriented services. In the banking sector, these principles are particularly crucial when banks act as implementing agents for government programs, especially subsidized home ownership credit through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP). This study aims to analyze the implementation of good governance principles in FLPP mortgage services at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Office Tanjung Karang. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis involving internal bank officers and FLPP beneficiaries. Findings indicate that transparency, accountability, and responsibility have been implemented adequately through clear information disclosure, standardized service procedures, and intensive customer assistance. However, several challenges remain, including limited customer understanding of financing mechanisms and inconsistencies in service delivery across different stages. These findings suggest that effective implementation of good governance depends not only on regulatory frameworks and SOPs but also on human resource capacity and service communication. This study contributes empirically to the discourse on good governance practices in the banking sector, particularly in subsidized housing programs.

Abstract

Islamic education essentially does not only focus on mastering knowledge, but also emphasizes the formation of human spirituality and morality. Rapid developments in modern times require individuals to continuously learn and develop themselves in order to face various life challenges. Therefore, the development of intellectual, spiritual, and moral capacities becomes an important necessity in personal and organizational life. This study aims to analyze the concept of intellectual, spiritual, and moral development from an Islamic perspective, understand the concept of lifelong learning, and examine the Prophet’s traditions regarding seeking knowledge and self-improvement. This research uses a library research method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources were obtained from books, scientific journals, articles, and hadith related to self-development and Islamic education. The results show that Islam strongly emphasizes the balance between intellectual intelligence, spiritual strength, and moral quality in shaping superior human beings. Intellectual development is carried out through learning processes, critical thinking, and mastery of knowledge. Spiritual development is realized through worship, remembrance of Allah, and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah SWT, while moral development is manifested through the formation of noble character in daily life. The concept of lifelong learning in Islam indicates that learning is a continuous process throughout life and is considered part of worship. The Prophet’s hadiths also motivate Muslims to continuously seek knowledge and improve themselves. In the context of organizations and educational institutions, the development of intellectual, spiritual, and moral capacities is very important to improve the quality of human resources so they can face modern challenges without losing Islamic values. Thus, the integration of intellectual, spiritual, moral, and lifelong learning becomes an important foundation in shaping qualified individuals who are beneficial to society.

Abstract

The development of information technology and the internet has brought significant changes to society, including the emergence of various forms of cybercrime, one of which is online gambling. Online gambling is a form of digital-based gambling that is easily accessible to various groups and has negative impacts on social, economic, psychological aspects, and family stability. This study aims to analyze law enforcement against online gambling practices in Indonesia, identify the challenges in combating it as a transnational cybercrime, and formulate strategies to improve the effectiveness of law enforcement. The research method used is normative legal research with a literature review approach, employing statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. The data sources include primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials analyzed using descriptive-qualitative methods. The results indicate that law enforcement against online gambling in Indonesia has been carried out through various legal instruments, such as the Criminal Code, the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, and anti-money laundering regulations, involving the police, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, and the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center. However, law enforcement still faces various challenges, including limitations in cross-border jurisdiction, difficulties in digital evidence collection, the use of anonymity technologies, institutional capacity constraints, and obstacles in international cooperation. Therefore, strengthening regulations, enhancing law enforcement capacity, expanding cross-border cooperation, and increasing public education are necessary strategies to improve the effectiveness of combating online gambling in Indonesia.

Abstract

The increasingly competitive development of Hajj and Umrah travel agencies in Indonesia has encouraged every religious travel agency to improve service quality to build pilgrim trust and satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the reconstruction of excellent service at BIM Tour and Travel through pilgrim service strategies. The study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods through the review of literature, journals, and documents related to Hajj and Umrah services. The research analysis uses the SERVQUAL theory which includes tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results show that the reconstruction of excellent service can be achieved through increasing service transparency, strengthening human resource quality, humanistic communication, as well as spiritual services and worship assistance according to the needs of pilgrims. BIM Tour and Travel's service strategy is realized through manasik guidance, worship assistance, consultation services, and personal services oriented towards pilgrim satisfaction. This strategy has an impact on increasing trust, satisfaction, and the competitiveness of Hajj and Umrah travel agencies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies implemented by PT Prayogi Lintas Persada Tours and Travel to enhance the competitiveness of its Hajj and Umrah services amidst increasingly fierce competition among pilgrimage travel agencies. Companies are required to develop innovative marketing strategies that are oriented toward pilgrims' needs in order to maintain their existence and maintain public trust. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature review method through a review of various relevant sources. The results show that PT Prayogi Lintas Persada Tours and Travel implements various marketing strategies, such as service marketing, utilizing social media for digital marketing, educational seminars, home sharing activities, direct sales, holding annual events, and offering affordable Umrah programs with special prices. These strategies focus not only on product promotion but also on building pilgrim trust, improving service quality, and fostering long-term relationships with customers. Furthermore, improving the quality of human resources and pilgrim experience are crucial factors in strengthening pilgrim loyalty and enhancing the company's image. This study concludes that the combination of digital marketing, relationship-based services, and improving service quality can sustainably strengthen the competitiveness of pilgrim travel agencies. Therefore, companies need to continue to develop creative marketing strategies that focus on the needs of pilgrims to remain competitive in the Hajj and Umrah travel services sector.

Abstract

Total quality management (TQM) or integrated quality management describes a focus on quality that drives the entire organization, from suppliers to consumers. TQM becomes a necessity for every company that wants to provide satisfaction to its customers. Talking about TQM is related to the quality that will be delivered to customers. In this case, quality is an activity of continuous improvement carried out to win competition. In addition, quality provides a stimulus for customers to establish a strong relationship with the company. With this quality, customer satisfaction can be increased, where the company can enhance pleasant customer experiences and minimize or eliminate unpleasant customer experiences. Therefore, for the implementation of TQM to achieve success, the company must have clear and directed guidelines so that the company's goals can be achieved.

Abstract

Narcotics abuse among students is a social and legal issue that requires serious attention. This community service and research aimed to enhance students' legal awareness regarding the dangers of narcotics through socialization activities at SMKN 7 Serang City. The methods used included legal counseling, interactive discussions, and an evaluation of students' understanding. The results showed that most students did not have a comprehensive understanding of the types of narcotics, legal sanctions, and the social and health impacts caused. After the socialization, the students demonstrated an increased awareness of the dangers of narcotics and the importance of avoiding substance abuse. This activity proves that early legal education plays a crucial role in building a culture of legal awareness within the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of digitalization in improving human resource (HR) competency in managing UMKM tax administration. The research method used is a literature study utilizing secondary data obtained from books, journal articles, and various relevant scientific publications for the period 2021–2026. Data collection was conducted through a literature search on Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Mendeley with keywords related to tax digitalization, HR competency, and UMKM. The results show that tax digitalization through services such as e-filing, e-billing, and Coretax can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of UMKM tax administration. The use of digital technology helps business actors in the process of recording, reporting, paying, and storing tax documents more quickly, easily, and structured. In addition, tax digitalization also plays a role in improving HR competency, digital literacy, taxpayer compliance, and tax administration capabilities of UMKM actors. However, the implementation of tax digitalization still faces obstacles such as low digital literacy, limited technological capabilities, lack of training, and limited digital infrastructure. Therefore, support in the form of training, education, mentoring, and the provision of adequate technological facilities is needed to ensure optimal and sustainable implementation of tax digitalization in UMKM.

Abstract

Cooperatives in Indonesia continue to face fundamental challenges in leadership quality and data-driven decision-making capacity. This article aims to examine comprehensively how strategic leadership—encompassing cooperative entrepreneurship orientation, managerial competence, and adaptive capability—can promote professionalism in cooperative management. The study employs a literature review approach, analyzing ten scientific journals published between 2021 and 2025. Findings indicate that effective leadership styles, both transformational and servant, produce tangible impacts on organizational performance and member satisfaction. Data-driven decision-making—through instruments such as the Balanced Scorecard, decision support systems, and financial statement analysis—has been shown to enhance management objectivity. Conversely, weak human resource capacity among administrators, poor governance, and limited training remain persistent structural barriers. This article concludes that transforming cooperative leadership requires a holistic approach that integrates cooperative values with modern managerial skills, including data literacy and information technology.

Abstract

The development of financial technology (fintech) and electronic money (e-money) in Indonesia has significantly impacted the increase of financial inclusion through faster, more practical, and efficient access to digital-based financial services. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of financial technology (fintech) and electronic money (e-money) in increasing financial inclusion in Indonesia and their impact on consumer behavior. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a literature review, namely by examining various scientific sources in the form of journals, reports, and related publications relevant to the research topic. The results of this study indicate that fintech and e-money play a significant role in increasing financial inclusion through accessibility, transaction process efficiency, and expanding access to public financial services. At the same time, both innovations can encourage public involvement in the digital financial system despite facing challenges such as low digital literacy levels, limited infrastructure, and data security risks. In addition, fintech and e-money, which make transactions easier, also increase the potential for improving consumer behavior, especially due to accessibility, digital promotion, and cashless payments that lead to reduced spending control. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the level of digital financial literacy and regulate the use of fintech and e-money to ensure the effective use of this technology in supporting financial inclusion.
