Abstract

This study aims to analyze political news framing in the local media “Samarinda Beradab,” particularly regarding the performance of the Mayor of Samarinda. The media generally presents neutral reporting but tends to emphasize positive aspects of government performance. This raises concerns about the construction of a favorable public image. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature study and content analysis of Instagram and Facebook posts. The findings indicate that the media framing consistently portrays leadership as responsive, solution-oriented, and proactive. Additionally, there is an indication of positive bias characterized by dominant government perspectives, minimal criticism, and consistently positive narratives, even in potentially negative issues. Therefore, “Samarinda Beradab” functions more as a government communication tool rather than a fully balanced media outlet.

Abstract

Service is a crucial element in efforts to increase customer satisfaction. Essentially, this service position is a supporting factor for PT. PLN (Persero)'s marketing activities. In order to improve the electricity supply services provided by PT. PLN (Persero) to the public in general and customers in particular. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze: 1. The influence of postpaid meter replacement service quality on customer satisfaction at ULP Pulang Pisau, Central Kalimantan. 2. The influence of company image on customer satisfaction at ULP Pulang Pisau, Central Kalimantan. 3. The influence of postpaid meter replacement service quality and company image on customer satisfaction at ULP Pulang Pisau, Central Kalimantan. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method. The population consisted of 280 customers who replaced postpaid meters at the Pulang Pisau ULP in Central Kalimantan. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 74 customers. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Simple linear regression was used for data analysis. Based on the research results, the results of this study indicate that: 1. The quality of postpaid meter replacement services partially has a significant effect on customer satisfaction at the Pulang Pisau Central Kalimantan ULP. 2. Company image partially has a significant effect on customer satisfaction at the Pulang Pisau Central Kalimantan ULP. 3. The quality of postpaid meter replacement services and company image simultaneously have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at the Pulang Pisau Central Kalimantan ULP.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors influencing employee performance from the perspectives of human resource development, work engagement, and work ethic using a literature review approach. The study is based on the analysis of eleven empirical articles obtained from open-access scientific journals, selected based on their relevance to the research variables. Data were analyzed using a descriptive method to identify patterns, relationships, and inconsistencies among previous studies. The findings indicate that human resource development does not consistently have a direct effect on employee performance, but rather influences performance through mediating variables such as organizational commitment and work ethic. Work ethic is identified as the most consistent and dominant factor affecting employee performance, as it reflects individual values, discipline, and work motivation. In addition, leadership and human resource management strategies play an important role in shaping a positive work ethic. Meanwhile, work engagement is conceptually significant in enhancing employee performance, although empirical evidence remains limited. These results suggest that employee performance is influenced by a complex interaction of structural, psychological, and behavioral factors, highlighting the importance of an integrative approach in human resource management to achieve sustainable performance improvement

Abstract

Monosodium glutamat (MSG) dosis tinggi dapat menyebabkan stres oksidatif yang mengakibatkan kerusakan hepatosit, ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar alanine aminotransferase (ALT). Daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) mengandung flavonoid dan senyawa fenolik yang bersifat antioksidan dan berpotensi hepatoprotektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun kelor terhadap kadar ALT pada tikus jantan galur Wistar yang diinduksi MSG. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimental dengan desain post-test only control group pada 20 ekor tikus yang dibagi menjadi empat kelompok : kontrol sehat (K1), kontrol negative (K2), perlakuan dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol sehat, kelompok induksi MSG, serta kelompok induksi MSG yang diberi ekstrak daun kelor dengan dosis berbeda. Kadar ALT diperiksa setelah perlakuan dan dianalisis secara statistik dengan tingkat kemaknaan p < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian MSG meningkatkan kadar ALT secara signifikan dibandingkan kontrol sehat (43,50 ± 0,55 U/L vs 19,13 ± 0,55 U/L; p < 0,001). Pemberian ekstrak daun kelor dosis 175 mg/kgBB dan 350 mg/kgBB menurunkan kadar ALT secara bermakna dibandingkan kelompok MSG, dengan dosis 350 mg/kgBB menunjukkan hasil mendekati normal (21,17 ± 0,43 U/L). Kesimpulannya, ekstrak daun kelor berpotensi sebagai agen hepatoprotektif alami dalam menekan kerusakan hati akibat induksi MSG.

Abstract

Digital transformation has driven the banking industry to develop technology-based services, one of which is digital banking. The implementation of digital banking is expected to improve service quality and customer satisfaction amid increasingly dynamic changes in consumer behavior and needs. This study aims to analyze the effect of digital banking on customer satisfaction in the era of digital transformation. The research method employed is a literature review with a qualitative approach, using secondary data obtained from various relevant national and international journal articles related to digital banking and customer satisfaction. Data analysis techniques were conducted through the identification, selection, and synthesis of findings from previous studies. The results of the review indicate that digital banking generally has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, as reflected in ease of use, transaction speed, system reliability, and enhanced customer experience. However, several challenges, such as data security issues, system disruptions, and differences in levels of digital literacy, remain factors that may influence customer satisfaction. This study concludes that the success of digital banking in improving customer satisfaction largely depends on the quality of digital services, system security, and the bank’s ability to adapt its services to the needs and characteristics of its customers. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for the banking industry and future research related to the development of digital banking services.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to examine and analyze: 1) to determine the influence of work systems on employee performance at Graha Mandiri Taspen Barabai. 2) to determine the influence of compensation on employee performance at Graha Mandiri Taspen Barabai. This study used a quantitative descriptive research method. The population in this study were 28 Bank Mandiri Barabai employees. The sample in this study consisted of 28 employees, using total sampling. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. Based on the results of this study, the results indicate that 1) the work system influences employee performance at Graha Mandiri Taspen Barabai. 2) Compensation influences employee performance at Graha Mandiri Taspen Barabai. 3) Work systems and compensation influence employee performance at Graha Mandiri Taspen Barabai

Abstract

This study aims to examine the determinants of employee performance through a literature review approach by integrating competence, work engagement, organizational commitment, and self-efficacy. This research employs a qualitative method using a literature review of 13 relevant journal articles selected based on their relevance to the research variables. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis by comparing, classifying, and synthesizing findings from previous studies. The results indicate that competence, work engagement, organizational commitment, and self-efficacy are key factors influencing employee performance. Competence has a direct effect on performance and also contributes to the development of self-efficacy and work engagement. Work engagement consistently shows a positive impact on performance, while organizational commitment emerges as the most stable variable, acting both as a direct determinant and as a mediator. However, the influence of self-efficacy shows inconsistent results, as it may affect performance either directly or indirectly through mediating variables such as organizational commitment or organizational citizenship behavior. This study highlights the need for a more integrated model to better understand the complex relationships among these variables. The findings are expected to contribute theoretically to the development of employee performance models and provide practical implications for organizations in improving human resource performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze employee performance from the perspectives of work environment and work-life balance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable through a literature review approach. The study is based on ten empirical articles obtained from open-access scientific journals, which were selected based on their relevance to the research variables. Data were analyzed using a descriptive method to identify patterns of relationships and inconsistencies among previous studies. The findings indicate that work-life balance consistently has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, which in turn contributes to improved employee performance. Meanwhile, the work environment generally influences job satisfaction positively, but its direct effect on employee performance shows inconsistent results. Job satisfaction plays a mediating role, although its effect is not always significant across studies. These findings suggest that employee performance is influenced by a complex interaction of organizational and psychological factors, and organizations are encouraged to enhance both work-life balance and a supportive work environment to improve job satisfaction and performance

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the implementation mechanism and documentation requirements for school or madrasah accreditation in Indonesia based on the latest regulations. Accreditation is positioned as a vital instrument in guaranteeing educational quality and a form of public accountability to measure the eligibility of educational units according to the National Education Standards (SNP). The research method used is library research by examining various literatures, regulations such as Law No. 20 of 2003 and Permendikbudristek No. 38 of 2023, as well as technical operational documents from the National Accreditation Board for Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Secondary Education (BAN-PDM). The results show that the accreditation process has transformed from administrative assessment (compliance) to performance-based assessment through the use of the IASP instrument. The accreditation implementation cycle consists of systematic stages including: (1) identification and targeting, (2) socialization, (3) pre-visitation, (4) visitation and assessment, (5) validation of results, (6) determination of results, and (7) socialization of accreditation results. Furthermore, the effectiveness of accreditation highly depends on the readiness of supporting documents in four main components: graduate quality, learning process, teacher quality, and school management. The conclusion of this study confirms that a deep understanding of procedures and document completeness is not merely a bureaucratic burden, but a means of self-evaluation for educational institutions to carry out continuous quality improvement for the advancement of the education ecosystem in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Electronic Human Resource Management (E-HRM) in improving the effectiveness of human resource performance in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Industry 4.0 era. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method through a literature study. The data used are secondary data obtained from scientific journals, books, and previous studies relevant to the research topic. The results show that the implementation of E-HRM plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of human resource performance, particularly in terms of time efficiency, productivity, work quality, and accuracy in decision- making. However, the implementation of E-HRM in MSMEs still faces several challenges, such as limited resources, low digital literacy, and inadequate technological infrastructure. Therefore, efforts are needed to enhance understanding and support from various parties to optimize the implementation of E-HRM in MSMEs.
