Abstract

Background: Motor function disorder in post-stroke patients causes muscle weakness that significantly impacts independence in activities of daily living (ADL). Hand grip strength measurement is a simple and objective parameter that reflects the overall neuromotor status of patients. In medical rehabilitation for patients, understanding the relationship between hand grip strength and Barthel Index independence level is crucial as it can facilitate early identification of patient's functional prognosis, ease rehabilitation progress monitoring, guide realistic goal setting, and provide rapid indicators for intervention effectiveness evaluation. However, the concrete relationship between these two parameters has not been extensively studied in local populations. Objective: To analyze the correlation between independence level based on Barthel Index and hand grip strength in post-stroke patients in chronic phase. Methods: This study employed a cross-sectional study design with 12 chronic phase stroke patients (onset 1-3 years). Independence level was measured using Barthel Index and hand grip strength was measured using a hydraulic hand dynamometer on the affected side. Analysis used Pearson correlation with α = 0.05. Results: There was a very strong positive and significant correlation between Barthel Index and hand grip strength (r = 0.9377; p < 0.0001), with R² = 0.8793. This indicates that 87.93% of the variation in hand grip strength can be explained by Barthel Index independence level. Conclusion: Hand grip strength is a very good predictor for daily independence level (ADL) in chronic stroke patients. Hand grip strength measurement can be integrated into routine assessment as a rapid and accurate screening tool.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Industry 5.0 has transformed the strategic role of Human Resource Management (HRM), shifting organizational priorities from technology-driven automation toward human-centered innovation and sustainable workforce development. While Electronic Human Resource Management (e-HRM) has significantly improved the efficiency of human resource processes through digital technologies, current e-HRM systems often lack personalization, predictive intelligence, and continuous adaptation to employees' dynamic capabilities. This conceptual paper introduces the concept of the Human Digital Twin (HDT) as an innovative framework for enhancing e-HRM practices within the Industry 5.0 paradigm. The proposed framework integrates artificial intelligence, real-time workforce analytics, competency mapping, digital behavior analysis, predictive career development, and employee well-being monitoring into a unified digital representation of individual employees. Through an extensive review of recent literature on e-HRM, Industry 5.0, digital twins, artificial intelligence, and talent management, this study develops a comprehensive conceptual model demonstrating how Human Digital Twins can support personalized talent management throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, training and development, performance management, succession planning, career development, and employee retention. The framework emphasizes ethical artificial intelligence, data governance, employee privacy, transparency, and human-centered decision-making as fundamental principles for successful implementation. Furthermore, the study argues that Human Digital Twins have the potential to strengthen organizational resilience, enhance employee experience, foster workforce agility, and improve strategic decision-making in increasingly digital organizations. This paper contributes to the emerging literature by extending the application of Digital Twin technology beyond industrial operations into strategic human resource management, offering both theoretical insights and practical guidance for organizations preparing for Industry 5.0.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of reward systems and work environment on employee performance at PT. Cipta Krida Bahari (CKB Logistik) Banjarmasin. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 82 employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that both reward systems and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. An effective reward system can enhance employee motivation and performance, while a safe and comfortable work environment contributes to higher work productivity. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect employee performance. The coefficient of determination shows that reward systems and work environment explain 35.1% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that improving reward systems and creating a conducive work environment are essential strategies for enhancing employee performance.

Abstract

Suboptimal breast milk production in postpartum mothers may hinder the success exclusive breastfeeding. This study aimed to determine the effect of a combination of Woolwich massage and warm ginger decoction compresses on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Dr. Soekardjo Regional Hospital, Tasikmalaya City. Breast milk production in postpartum mothers is based on the concept of lactation physiology, which involves role prolactin in milk synthesis and oxytocin in milk ejection, influenced breast stimulation and adequate blood circulation within breast tissue. Woolwich massage stimulates the release prolactin and oxytocin hormones, while warm ginger decoction compresses help improve blood circulation and provide relaxing effect that supports breast milk production and ejection. This study employed quasi-experimental design with two-group pretest–posttest approach. A total 34 postpartum mothers were recruited using purposive sampling technique and divided into an intervention group and control group, each consisting of 17 respondents. The intervention group received combination of Woolwich massage and warm ginger decoction compresses, while the control group received Woolwich massage only. Data were collected using breast milk production observation sheet. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann–Whitney U Test because the data were not normally distributed based on the Shapiro–Wilk test. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed a p-value of 0.000. The Mann–Whitney U Test showed a p-value of 0.001, indicating  significant difference in breast milk production between the intervention and control groups after intervention. The combination of Woolwich massage and warm ginger decoction compresses had significant effect on increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers at dr. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal standing of the village apparatus selection committee as a public service provider and to examine the legal construction of information disclosure obligations in the recruitment process based on Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services. The research method used is normative juridical with a statute approach and a conceptual approach. The results indicate that the village apparatus selection committee normatively qualifies as a public service provider in the village government administration sector, fully bound by the principles of public service. The obligation of information disclosure includes transparency of assessment standards, exam results, and the provision of a public objection mechanism. Information concealment in technical regulations at the regional level (Regent Regulation) that stifles selection transparency can be categorized as a normative legal defect because it violates the principle of lex superior derogat legi inferior against the Public Service Law.

Abstract

This article presents the development of an ESP32 and Firebase Realtime Database-based early warning system for landslide and earthquake risks. The main emphasis is placed on a multi-level alarm control mechanism rather than sensor monitoring only. The prototype employs an ADXL345 to capture tilt and vibration data, a Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor to read soil moisture conditions, an ESP32 as the controller, Firebase as the real-time synchronization medium, a web dashboard as the monitoring interface, and a buzzer as the warning actuator. Sensor data are processed into SAFE, WARNING, and DANGER levels, enabling the system to produce different alarm responses according to the detected risk level. The dashboard provides data visualization, threshold configuration, event recording, device health monitoring, and administrator commands through Firebase. Testing was conducted by changing the ADXL345 position, applying vibration simulations, and comparing soil moisture value variations. The results indicate that the device can acquire sensor data, update Firebase records, display information on the dashboard, and drive the buzzer according to the risk status. The proposed system can be used as a local early warning prototype that combines IoT integration and alarm response control for landslide and earthquake mitigation.

Abstract

Village administrative services constitute an integral part of public service delivery, serving to fulfill the administrative rights of citizens. However, their implementation continues to face various challenges, including a lack of transparency in service procedures, delays in administrative processing, inconsistencies in service requirements, and the limited understanding of applicable legal provisions among village officials. These issues may create legal uncertainty, thereby reducing the effectiveness of protecting citizens' rights. This study aims to examine the role of legal certainty as an instrument for safeguarding citizens' rights in the provision of village administrative services while also analyzing the factors influencing its implementation. The study employs a normative legal research method using both the statutory approach and the conceptual approach. The data consist of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials, which are analyzed qualitatively through library research. The findings indicate that legal certainty in village administrative services is reflected in the implementation of clear service standards, well-defined procedures, compliance with prevailing laws and regulations, and the application of the principles of good governance. The implementation of legal certainty not only guarantees the fulfillment of citizens' administrative rights but also promotes transparency, accountability, and greater public trust in village government. Therefore, continuous efforts are required to enhance the competence of village officials, improve standard operating procedures, and strengthen supervisory mechanisms to ensure that village administrative services provide optimal legal protection for every citizen.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly accelerated the growth of financial technology (fintech), particularly in the online lending sector, which has become increasingly popular among Indonesian society. Easy access, fast disbursement processes, and relatively simple requirements make this service an alternative financing option outside conventional financial institutions. However, behind these conveniences, various legal issues arise that may harm consumers, such as lack of information transparency, high interest rates, misuse of personal data, and debt collection practices that do not comply with legal standards. This study aims to analyze consumer protection in fintech-based online lending services in Indonesia and to examine the role of regulations in providing legal certainty for service users. The research applies a normative legal method using statutory and conceptual approaches. The legal materials consist of legislation, scientific journals, and other relevant literature related to consumer protection issues. The findings indicate that consumer protection has been regulated under consumer protection laws, Financial Services Authority regulations, and personal data protection provisions; however, its implementation still faces significant challenges, particularly regarding illegal online lending practices. Therefore, stronger supervision, improved public digital literacy, and more effective law enforcement are necessary to ensure consumer rights are properly protected.
