Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan anak usia dini menuntut pendidik memiliki literasi digital yangmemadai untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran secara efektif dan sesuai karakteristikperkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis literasi digital pendidik anak usia dinidalam implementasi pembelajaran digital di RA Al Washliyah Kabupaten Cirebon denganmenggunakan kerangka kerja TPACK yang mencakup pengetahuan teknologi, pengetahuanpedagogik, dan integrasi keduanya dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatifdeskriptif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan lima orang pendidik sebagai informan yang dipilihmelalui purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasipartisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Hubermandengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa pengetahuan teknologi pendidik berada pada tingkat dasar hingga menengah denganpenguasaan terbatas pada aplikasi sederhana, sementara pengetahuan pedagogik menunjukkanpemahaman yang baik tentang prinsip pembelajaran anak usia dini meskipun implementasi praktismasih menghadapi tantangan. Integrasi TPACK telah dilakukan dalam pembelajaran tematik namunbelum konsisten dan optimal karena perencanaan yang belum mengintegrasikan teknologi secaraeksplisit sebagai komponen integral pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya programpelatihan sistematis dan pendampingan intensif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi literasi digitalpendidik PAUD.

Abstract

The focus of this research is how local cultural values are integrated into character and moral education for children at TK Bukit Permai 2. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is tested through triangulation of time, technique, and source, as well as collection, condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that TK Bukit Permai 2 consistently integrates local cultural values into children's daily activities, such as the use of polite language ("iyye", "tabe"), the habit of greeting teachers, the practice of sharing food, and the reinforcement of empathy and mutual cooperation values through collaborative activities. Teachers also use culturally-based learning methods such as playing traditional games (dende/engklek), performing regional dances (Mappadendang), and storytelling folk tales rich in moral messages. These values are instilled through habituation, exemplary behavior, and socio-cultural approaches in accordance with the developmental theories of Vygotsky, Piaget, and constructivism. Parental support and synergy with the school environment strengthen the effectiveness of character education based on local culture. Children show improvement in character in aspects of empathy, discipline, responsibility, and respect.

Abstract

Morning greetings are an important part of creating a positive atmosphere for children at school. At TK Hasanah Pekanbaru, an innovation was introduced by applying varied greetings to allow children to express themselves freely when greeting their teacher. This study aims to explore the impact of varied greetings on the emotions and enthusiasm of early childhood learners. The research used a qualitative descriptive method with observation and documentation techniques. The results show that varied greetings help children feel more appreciated, confident, and excited to join learning activities. Moreover, teachers can more easily understand children’s emotions from the greetings they choose. Options like hugs, high-fives, love symbols, or hand waves allow children to greet according to their mood. This activity also teaches social-emotional values such as love, empathy, and self-protection. In a simple way, this activity brings a significant positive impact to the school environment, making it warmer and more joyful.

Abstract

This study aims to stimulate the fine motor skills of grade B children of Aisyiyah 01 Leuwiliang Kindergarten through collage learning activities. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR). This study consists of two cycles and each cycle is carried out five meetings. The subjects of this study were 12 children aged 5-6 years consisting of 12 boys. Data collection techniques consisted of observation and documentation. The instruments used in this study were daily learning implementation plans (RPPH), field notes. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively, qualitatively and quantitatively. The indicator of success of this study is if the calculation of the overall percentage of children shows 71% or more, then the child has increased fine motor skills. The results of the research that have been conducted by researchers show that stimulation of children's fine motor skills through collage learning activities has a positive change. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of the average value at the end of the cycle. Pre-cycle children showed motor skills of 40%, namely the level of development achievement has not developed. While in cycle 1 it reached 59% and in cycle 2 it reached 85%.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a maritime nation, faces the challenge of low maritime science literacy among the younger generation, including in early childhood. This study aims to examine the potential, obstacles, and strategies for strengthening maritime science literacy in early childhood education institutions. The method used was a literature review by analyzing 30 references published between 2016 and 2024, including three journals by Nuryati. The results indicate that the integration of marine themes in early childhood education is still minimal due to limitations in media, curriculum, and teacher training. However, a thematic approach, the role of families, and marine-based media can be a solution to instill a scientific understanding of the ocean from an early age. This study recommends the need for national policies and cross-sectoral support so that maritime science literacy becomes an integral part of early childhood education.

Abstract

Developing creativity in early childhood is very important because early childhood is a golden period in the growth and development of children. However, the results of observations at Nurul Qolbi Kindergarten show that children's creativity is still less than optimal due to monotonous learning and minimal use of innovative learning media. This study aims to improve the creativity of early childhood through the development of drawing patterns with the help of Augmented Reality (AR) technology at Nurul Qolbi Kindergarten. This Classroom Action Research was conducted on children aged 4-5 years for two cycles with the Kurt Lewin model. Data were collected using observation, documentation and assessment techniques of children's work. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that before the application of AR, children's creativity was relatively low. However, after the application of AR-assisted drawing pattern development learning, there was an increase in children's creativity, both in original ability, fluency, flexibility, and elaboration of ideas. It was concluded that the use of Augmented Reality (AR)-assisted drawing pattern development can improve the creativity of early childhood. It is recommended that educators can utilize this technology-based learning media to create a more innovative and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

Verbal abuse against early childhood often occurs in educational settings, yet its impact frequently goes unnoticed. This study focuses on how inclusive language in Islamic education can serve as a preventive strategy against verbal abuse in early childhood education (PAUD). Using a qualitative approach through a literature review of 15 related journals and thematic analysis, this research highlights four main themes: the forms and impacts of verbal abuse, inclusive communication strategies, integration of Islamic values in language, and the role of Islamic early childhood teachers.The findings indicate that the use of inclusive language grounded in the values of rahmah (compassion), ‘adl (justice), and karamah insaniyah (human dignity) can create a safe, supportive, and child-friendly learning environment. Islamic early childhood teachers play a crucial role in applying language that educates without judgment, as part of their educational and spiritual responsibility. This study recommends strengthening teacher training and developing communication curricula based on Islamic values to prevent verbal abuse and holistically shape

Abstract

This study aims to develop digital learning media based on Canva and Capcut with the theme of environmental love aimed at early childhood in Raudhotul Athfal Cirebon Regency which is motivated by the lack of development and utilization of innovative and interactive learning media based on technology. This type of development research uses the ADDEI model, Through the procedures of needs analysis and literature review, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, small-scale trials, product revision, large-scale trials, product revisions, and production.  The research results show that teachers and students are very positive about the Canva and Capcut -based learning media developed. These media have proven to be effective in engaging students' learning interests, facilitating understanding of environmental stewardship, and encouraging active student engagement in the learning process. Thus, this learning media is not only appropriate and interesting, but also effective in instilling environmental character values in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of four main competencies of Early Childhood Education teachers, which include pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies at Al-Husna Kindergarten, Pekanbaru. This study employs a qualitative, descriptive approach, focusing on in-depth reporting of teachers’ actual practices in daily learning activities. Data were gathered using observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using qualitative analysis procedures, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, providing a comprehensive depiction of teachers’ abilities in carrying out their professional responsibilities. The research subject consisted of four experienced Kindergarten B teachers at Al-Husna Kindergarten, Pekanbaru, who were actively involved throughout the instructional process. The results showed that teachers at Al-Husna Kindergarten had implemented pedagogical competence well. This was demonstrated through their ability to design Daily Learning Implementation Plans, manage classes effectively, and create a fun and interactive learning atmosphere. Professional competence is reflected in mastery of teaching materials, the ability to manage an educational play environment, the application of reflection to improve educational quality, and participation in self-development activities such as training and workshops. Social competence is evident in teachers’ ability to communicate and collaborate harmoniously with students, colleagues, and parents. However, strengthening personal competence is still necessary so that teachers can serve as patient, authoritative, and high-integrity role models in carrying out their roles as Early Childhood Education students.

Abstract

Memory ability is an important aspect in the cognitive development of early childhood because it plays a role in the process of storing, processing, and recalling information received. However, the results of initial observations at DWP Jono Kindergarten showed that some children in group B still had difficulty remembering the sequence of notes, song lyrics, and the sound of the angklung during singing activities. The angklung musical instrument available at school has not been utilized as a learning tool, so children have not gained musical experience that can support memory strengthening. This study aims to analyze the effect of the solmization method on the song "Burung Kakak Tua" through the angklung musical instrument on the memory ability of children aged 5-6 years. This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a non-equivalent control group design involving 11 children in the experimental group and 22 children in the control group. Data were collected through pretest, treatment, and posttest, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test because the data is non-parametric. The results of the analysis showed a significance value of 0.008 <0.05, so H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. This indicates a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. Thus, the solmization method using the angklung musical instrument has been shown to significantly improve children's memory.
