Abstract

The processing of iron and steel requires a heating temperature of up to 900 degrees Celsius. Psychological factors will have an impact on work productivity and make workers very uncomfortable. We involved 15 respondents in the area of the short taper and eye forming process and tested the work environment and conducted a stress level survey on the respondents. The results of the analysis above measuring psychological factors on 15 respondents, the Shearing Process section (Taper and Eye Forming) found that the 6 triggers of work stress were within moderate limits (10-24). With the most dominant aspect of potential stress, namely Qualitative Overload. It is necessary to add hours of rest for workers to control the level of work stress in workers.

Abstract

The National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia proudly present the Indonesian Ash Robot Contest (KRAI), a yearly student robotics competition where teams tackle ash-related challenges with their robot creations. At KRAI 2021, it was shown that many robots were controlled using joysticks and resulted in a lack of effectiveness in robotic motion. The use of a joystick makes the movement of the robot take longer. This is because the robot is controlled by humans and the robot has not been able to pinpoint the robot's location. Gyrodometry is a method to map the robot's position using a inner ear and compass of the machine. In this research, Gyrodometry is used to map the position based on the readings of the gyroscope sensor and rotary encoder so that the robot can move automatically. In this research, the KRAI hitter robot can map positions and move in an accurate direction and can move automatically and effectively so that it can save more time and can increase the possibility of strategy in the match. From the results of this study, it was found that without using gyrodometry the error of X reached 11.825 cm and Y reached 35.1325 cm and also the angle error reached 13.7 degrees. and by using gyrodometry error X reaches 4.25 cm and Y reaches 5.775 cm and angle error 2.01 degrees. From these results, it was found that using gyrodometry was better than without using gyrodometry. The addition of waypoints to the robot only produces an average error of 8.2 cm X and Y error of -7.8 cm and the angle error reaches 10.2 degrees.

Abstract

Keamanan di lingkungan kerja menjadi isu yang kian penting seiring dengan kompleksitas bisnis yang meningkat dan maraknya tindak kriminalitas. Gangguan keamanan di area kerja dapat mengakibatkan kerugian finansial yang signifikan, kerusakan reputasi perusahaan, bahkan hilangnya nyawa. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan perlu melakukan berbagai upaya proaktif untuk meningkatkan kualitas keamanan di lingkungan kerjanya. Salah satu upaya krusial yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan meningkatkan kualitas satpam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem rekrutmen dan seleksi satpam yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas keamanan di lingkungan kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus di PT. Prima Karya Sarana Sejahtera (Pkss). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan dalam proses rekrutmen dan seleksi satpam, wawancara dengan informan, dan analisis dokumen terkait sistem rekrutmen dan seleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem rekrutmen dan seleksi satpam yang efektif harus mencakup beberapa tahapan seleksi, seperti tes pengetahuan, tes fisik, tes psikologi, dan wawancara. Selain itu, sistem rekrutmen dan seleksi satpam harus melibatkan berbagai pihak, seperti HRD, Kepala Keamanan, Satpam Senior, dan psikolog. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan beberapa langkah untuk meningkatkan sistem rekrutmen dan seleksi satpam di Pkss, yaitu: Mengembangkan standar kualifikasi dan kompetensi satpam yang jelas dan terukur, Menyempurnakan proses seleksi dengan menggunakan metode seleksi yang lebih komprehensif dan meningkatkan kualitas tes, Meningkatkan motivasi dan kesejahteraan satpam dengan memberikan gaji dan tunjangan yang layak, jaminan sosial, kesempatan pengembangan diri, penghargaan dan pengakuan, Memanfaatkan teknologi dan informasi untuk meningkatkan proses rekrutmen dan seleksi satpam. Bekerjasama dengan lembaga pendidikan dan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kualitas satpam, Mendorong pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kebijakan dan regulasi terkait keamanan lingkungan kerja.

Abstract

Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) control system architecture, work Class II - underwater inspection is demonstrated. The object is programmed on MATLAB simulink. The nonlinear modeled plants were processed by approximation way. Author planned a controller of an underwater ROV object. PID controller is used modeled plant. Tuning PID tool is used MATLAB for choose underwater ROV controller. Researchers tested an underwater ROV for system and solving problems an underwater ROV architecture.

Abstract

Research in the last decade, particularly in this research there are methods and steps for completion, namely 4 process steps, including: First of all, take samples and image data from the parts of the ship that are being repaired and maintained, Then, in making the prototype tool resulting from the coating, it is assembled using several tools, mini PC is installed with a web camera, next the image for the observation further processes and processed using the edge method contours detection with the help of cany to obtain the contrast and contour from the ship's hull. For next process, uses Neural Network for image creation processes taken from prototype plating or plating on observed ship parts. Some mixed results from the process. The images taken areand thenthe data obtained is processed and its form is observedfor shape, pattern,corrosion, contour and so on layers formed. There are two classifications of RGB and GLCM results, the rejected results can match the corrosion spot found on the hull, and the accepted results mean no corrosion spot found.

Abstract

The transportation industry is the main point of the distribution of goods and passengers. Data shows the number of shipwrecks is very high. The accident was caused by many factors, one of which was the tilting of the ship. The research starts from categorizing the causes of ship accidents through existing secondary data, FGD with expert judgments to find the root of the problem and also looking for what mitigations can be done so that similar incidents do not repeat. And the analysis is made in the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) method. The results of this study indicate that there are human factors in recurring events at all stages of HFACS such asunsafe acts, the preconditions for unsafe acts, unsafe supervision and organisational influences. For the stages of unsafe acts are Skill based Errors, decision errors, Perceptual Errors, and Exceptional. For the stage of the preconditions for unsafe acts are technological environment, physical environment, and adverse mental state; and for the stage of unsafe supervision is the lack of supervision; for organizational influences there are resource management and organizational climate.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan merupakan faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan implementasi strategi organisasi. Penguasaan yang komprehensif tentang berbagai model kepemimpinan menjadi referensi esensial untuk mengoptimalkan efektivitas manajemen strategik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai teori kepemimpinan, serta bagaimana model kepemimpinan dapat diterapkan dalam implementasi strategi organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research yang terstruktur. Sumber data diperoleh dari literatur yang relevan dengan tema penelitian melalui identifikasi dan seleksi yang cermat. Data yang terkandung dalam literatur terpilih kemudian diolah melalui proses komparasi dan analisis kritis, melibatkan ekstraksi informasi signifikan untuk mendukung jawaban terhadap pertanyaan penelitian dan serta pemahaman mendalam terhadap aspek-aspek yang terkait dengan tema penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan model kepemimpinan yang tepat berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja strategis organisasi. Kemampuan menggabungkan berbagai model kepemimpinan sesuai kebutuhan organisasi menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif, adaptif, dan inovatif. Pemimpin inspiratif, beradaptasi dengan perubahan, dan melibatkan karyawan dalam proses pengambilan keputusan strategis dapat mendorong peningkatan motivasi, komitmen, dan kreativitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kompetensi sumber daya manusia pengusaha kecil dan menengah di Makassar dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi tersebut terhadap kinerja bisnisnya, baik secara parsial maupun bersamaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif. Variabel kompetensi dipecah menjadi tiga indikator, yaitu pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kemampuan. Untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian dan menguji hipotesis yang diajukan, peneliti menggunakan analisis statistik dengan software SPSS, khususnya analisis korelasi, regresi, uji F, dan uji t. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 150 responden yang merupakan pengusaha kecil dan menengah yang dikelompokkan oleh Dinas Koperasi Kota Makassar, dipilih melalui purposive sampling berdasarkan beberapa kriteria. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sumber daya manusia UKM berada dalam kategori memadai, dan disarankan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja bisnis secara global. Selain itu, hipotesis diterima karena hasil uji F dan uji t menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sumber daya manusia pengusaha UKM memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis baik secara parsial maupun bersamaan, yang menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia akan meningkatkan kinerja bisnis, dengan variabel kemampuan menjadi faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi kinerja bisnis

Abstract

This article discusses political structure and culture with a focus on several key dimensions, namely the physical structure of politics, the social structure of politics, and various types of political culture. The physical structure of politics refers to the formal institutions and political mechanisms that influence the process of political action. The socio-political structure includes the distribution of power and social hierarchies that influence political dynamics in society. Furthermore, this article outlines the different types of political culture, including a political parochial culture that shows minimal involvement in national political affairs, a political subjective culture that reflects individuals' political attitudes and orientations towards power and political participation, and a political participatory culture that encourage active participation in the political process. Through an analysis of the physical and socio-political structures, as well as various political cultures, this article provides a more accurate understanding of the complexity of politics in modern societies. The implications of this understanding for public policy development and political system development are also discussed in depth.

Abstract

This research is a literature review which aims to analyze the relationship between political economy and MUI Fatwa No. 83 of 2023. Through searching for the keywords "political economy" and "fatwa" using Google Scholar, various relevant journal articles and books were collected, mapped and analyzed. The research results show that MUI Fatwa No. 83 of 2023 has significant implications for economic policy in Indonesia, serving as an ethical and moral guide that influences regulations on sharia banking, halal investment, and other economic sectors. This fatwa emphasizes the importance of fair and sustainable economic practices in accordance with Islamic principles. The conclusions of this research confirm the crucial role of fatwas in shaping Indonesia's political-economic landscape and underscore the need for further research to explore their long-term impact.
