Abstract

The Effect of Project Based Learning towards Self-efficacy and Creative Thinking Skills. This study aims were to determine the effect of project based learning toward self-efficacy and the significant effect of the project based learning toward creative thinking skills. The population of study were all students of grade VII of SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung. The samples of study were students of grade VII.5 and VII.2 that were selected by cluster random sampling technique. The design of study was the pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Data of self-efficacy and creative product were obtained by using the scale of self-efficacy and creative product assessment rubric which were analyzed descriptively while the data of creative thinking skills were obtained by using pretest and posttest scores were analyzed by the Independent Sample t-test at a significant level of 5%. The results showed that the project based learning had an effect toward self-efficacy with high criteria. Abstract

One of the most fascinating areas of physics is likely optics. However, it also includes some of the phenomena that students find to be less clear-the light spectra produced by light diffraction. The experimental analysis of light spectra to evaluate radiation bodies typically requires specialized and expensive equipment that is typically out of the price range for schools. Few teachers are proficient in measuring the wavelengths of light in a spectrum. In this study, we describe a low-cost, straightforward setup that can measure light spectra accurately enough to be utilized in physics and chemistry lectures. We demonstrate how the shareware program Tracker, which is frequently used to teach mechanics, may be used to measure wavelengths with a resolution of roughly 2 nm. Abstract

This study developed the Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM)integrated Learning of Inquiry Sequences (LOIS) learning unit for students in understanding the direct current concept. Learning unit met the valid, practical, and effective criteria. The validity shows the content validity & construct validity, the practicality shows the ease of use & positive response from students, the effectivity shows the achievement of learning objectives namely improvement in understanding the direct current concept. This study used a 4-D learning unit development model namely (define, design, development, and disseminate stages). This study was included in a quasi-experiment study with one group pretest and posttest design. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results, the mean of content validity was 3.76 and construct validity was 3.75 with very valid criteria. Then, the mean of the learning unit implementation in class was 0.92 and a positive response from students in the class was 0.97 with very practical criteria. Based on paired sample t-test (tcalculation = 23.291 > ttable = 2.03011) and the N-Gain value was 0.80 (high gain) showed that the LOIS learning implementation was effective to engage students in the classroom activities. Keywords: STEM-integrated LOIS learning unit, direct current, concept mastery.    DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v22i1.pp23-34

Abstract

Biodiversity literacy encompasses students' understanding of biodiversity concepts, its utilization, and conservation efforts. This study aims to determine the effect of the ethnoscience-based discovery learning model on biodiversity literacy and students' scientific explanation skills in the classification of living organisms in Grade X at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya for the 2024/2025 academic year. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya during the 2024/2025 academic year, with the population consisting of 432 students from twelve classes in grade X. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in class X.E-1 as the experimental group and class X.E-2 as the control group. Data collection techniques included a biodiversity literacy test consisting of 33 multiple-choice questions. The result showed that the average score for biodiversity literacy in the experimental class was 75.85 (SD = 12.89), while in the control class, it was 65.15 (SD = 15.74). The ANCOVA analysis yielded a significance value of 0.006 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant effect. Therefore, the result concludes that the Sundanese ethnoscience-based discovery learning model significantly influences biodiversity literacy in the classification of living organisms among Grade X students at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya.      Keywords: biodiversity literacy, discovery learning, ethnoscience, biology.

Abstract

Abstract: Human behavior is increasingly changing along with the massive development of technology to the point that it can change how we communicate. Unfortunately, many teachers are still not proficient in using technology, making learning feel less concrete and exciting for students. The aims of this research are to develop interactive media based on Ispring, to describe the feasibility of the Golwan learning application, to describe the practicality of interactive media based on Ispring and the use of the additional website 2 apk android builder application as the final result of this learning application. This research method uses MDLC (multimedia Development Life Cycle) with six stages: concept, design, material collection, creation, testing, and distribution, by using data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires, unstructured interviews, and documentation. And the test subjects were for fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Karangsuwung. The research results state that Android-based interactive multimedia applications are suitable for use. By fulfilling the media expert test percentage of 83%. The percentage of assessment by material experts was obtained at 90%. The percentage assessment of prospective use is 91%. Response from potential users with limited testing got a percentage of 90%. What is classified as interactive multimedia (Golwan) is declared appropriate or very good as a learning media tool. Keywords: interactive multimedia, classifying animals based on their food, ispring, website 2 apk android builder Abstrak: Tingkah laku manusia kian berubah seiring masifnya perkembangan teknologi sampai bisa mengubah cara berkomunikasi dan cara mengajar di kelas. Sayangnya masih banyak guru yang belum mahir dalam penggunaan teknologi. Menjadikan pembelajaran dirasa kurang konkrit dan menarik bagi peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media interaktif berasis Ispring, mendeskripsikan kelayakan aplikasi pembelajaran Golwan mendeskripsikan kepraktisan media interaktif berbasis Ispring serta penggunaan aplikasi tambahan website 2 apk android builder sebagai hasil akhir aplikasi pembelajaran ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan MDLC (multimedia Development Life Cycle) dengan enam tahapan : konsep, desain, pengumpulan materi, pembuatan, pengujian, pendistribusian. Dengan menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dokumentasi. Dan subjek uji coba kepada siswa kela IV di SDN 2 Karangsuwung. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa aplikasi multimedia interaktif berbasis android layak untuk dipergunakan. Dengan memenuhi presentase uji ahli media sebesar 83%. Penilaian presentase uji ahli materi sebesar 90%. Penilaian presentase dari calon penggunaan sebesar 91%. Serta respon dari calon pengguna yang dilakukan dengan uji terbatas mendapatkan presentase 90%. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe students' mathematical literacy abilities through the application of a PBL (Problem-Based Learning) model assisted by an e-module with a culturally based Ethnomathematics approach to the topic of Systems of Linear Equations and Inequalities (SPLDV). The study focuses on students' self-directed learning. The research subjects consisted of 32 students from SMP Negeri 3 Pematang Siantar. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research. The design used in this study was exploratory mixed-methods. Students' self-directed learning levels were categorized into three groups: high, medium, and low. The research findings from the 32 students in the experimental group showed that 5 students had low self-directed learning, 19 students had medium self-directed learning, and 8 students had high self-directed learning. The implementation of the teaching methods went very well, with an average rating of 4.50. The average score for mathematical literacy reached the minimum passing score (70), which was 82.73, with a passing proportion of 87.50%. The interpretation of both qualitative and quantitative research results led to the conclusion that there is a relationship between students' self-directed learning and their mathematical literacy abilities when exposed to the PBL model with a culturally based Ethnomathematics approach. Specifically, students with low self-directed learning exhibited low mathematical literacy, and vice versa. The research results also indicated that the average mathematical literacy scores of the experimental group were better than those of the control group. Keywords: mathematical literacy, pbl, self-directed learning, ethnomathematics, e-module, spldv. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa melalui penerapan model PBL berbantuan e-modul dengan Pendekatan etnomatematika berbasis budaya lokal pada materi SPLDV ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar siswa. Subjek penelitiannya adalah 32 siswa SMP Negeri 3 Pematang Siantar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian campuran (kualitatif dan kuantitatif). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain campuran exploratory. Tingkat kemandirian belajar dikategorikan menjadi 3 yaitu tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Hasil penelitian dari 32 siswa pada kelas eksperimen terdapat 5 anak yang memiliki kemandirian rendah, 19 anak memiliki kemandirian sedang, dan 8 anak memiliki kemandirian tinggi. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berjalan dengan sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,50. Rata-rata nilai kemampuan literasi matematis mencapai KKM (70) yaitu 82,73 dengan proporsi ketuntasan mencapai 87,50%. Hasil interpretasi penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan antara kemandirian belajar siswa dengan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang dikenai model pembelajaran PBL dengan pendekatan etnomatematika berbasis budaya lokal, yakni siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar rendah, kemampuan literasi matematisnya juga rendah, begitu sebaliknya. Abstract

Abstract: Critical thinking is one of the 4C competencies that is important for students to master to support their success in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the project based learning (PjBL) model on students' critical thinking skills. The method used is purposive sampling. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design (pre-test and post-test). The average results of the two samples are known through the independent sample t-test. The difference in critical thinking skills scores between the control class and the experimental class will be known through a parametric independent sample t-test with a sig value. > 0.05 which means homogeneous. If tcount > table resulting from the right-sided t-test then it can be said that HO is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning the learning model used in the experimental class has a significant influence. In the research that has been carried out, it is known that the project based learning (PjBL) model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills, which is known through the difference in the average scores of the control class and the experimental class. Keywords: critical thinking skills, learning model, PjBL model. Abstrak: Berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu kompetensi 4C yang penting untuk dikuasai peserta didik agar menunjang keberhasilannya dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil rata-rata kedua sampel diketahui melalui independet sample t-test. Perbedaan skor keterampilan berpikir kritis antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen akan diketahui melalui uji parametrik independent sample t-test dengan nilai sig. > 0,05 yang berarti homogen. Jika thitung > tabel yang dihasilkan dari uji t-pihak kanan maka dapat dikatakan bahwa HO ditolak dan Ha diterima berarti model pembelajaran yang digunakan di kelas eksperimen memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. Pada penelitian yang sudah dilakukan diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) berpengaruh dengan signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang diketahui melalui perbedaan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.  Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, model PjBL, keterampilan berpikir kritis. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v24i4.pp859-866

Abstract

Abstract: Low Mathematical Problem Solving Ability (MPSA) is a major problem in research. One learning model that supports increasing MPSA in learning is the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the CMP learning model on students' MPSA. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a one group pretest posttest design. The research population was class VIII students' at MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan consisting of 11 study groups. The research sample was students' from class VIII-11 with a total of 33 students'. The research instrument was the CMP learning management observation sheet and students' MPSA test. Analysis of data from observations was carried out descriptively and analysis of student MPSA data was carried out using inferential statistical tests using the paired t-test. The research results show that CMP learning management obtained an average score of 3.52 (good). Furthermore, analysis of the students' MPSA data shows a significance value of 0.00 which is smaller than the alpha level of 0.05 (there is a significant difference between the average pre-test and post-test scores). Furthermore, an n-gain value of 0.44 (Medium) was obtained. Thus it is concluded that the implementation of CMP learning on students' MPSA is effective. Keywords: implementation, CMP, problem solving, mathematics. Abstrak: Rendahnya Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika (MPSA) merupakan masalah utama dalam penelitian. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang mendukung peningkatan MPSA dalam pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran Connected Mathematics Project (CMP). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi model pembelajaran CMP terhadap MPSA siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan yang terdiri dari 11 Rombongan belajar. Sampel Penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-11 dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar observasi pengelolaan pembelajaran CMP dan Tes MPSA siswa. Analisis data hasil observasi dilakukan dengan deskriptif dan analisis data MPSA siswa dilakukan dengan uji statistik inferensial uji paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengelolaan pembelajaran CMP memperoleh nilai rata rata 3,52 (baik). Selanjutnya analisi data MPSA siswa menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,00 lebih kecil dari taraf alpha 0,05 (terdapat perbedaan signifikan dari nilai rata rata pretes dan postes). Selanjutnya diperoleh nilai n-gain 0,44 (Sedang). Abstract

Abstract: Unlike traditional learning models, this study aimed to evaluate the effects of applying a scientific method that incorporates CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) on students' mathematical ability. A quasi-experimental study with a posttest-only control group design was the research methodology employed. There were 200 pupils in grade VIII at SMPK Immaculata Ruteng who made up the study population. Class VIII D (33 students) was the experimental class that utilized the CTL-based scientific method, while class VIII F (34 students) was the control class that followed the traditional learning paradigm. Sampling was done at random. A multiple-choice test was the research tool employed, and the t-test was used to analyze the results. At the 5% significance level, the t-table was 1.668 according to the analysis results, and the t-count value was 5.114. The rejection of H0 (the null hypothesis) is possible when taking into account the decision rule where thitung > ttabel. Therefore, it can be said that students' mathematical proficiency is greatly impacted by the use of a CTL-based scientific method Keywords: CTL; mathematical power; scientific approach. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menilai dampak dari penerapan pendekatan saintifik yang memuat CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) terhadap kemampuan matematis siswa, dibandingkan dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan matematis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain posttest-only control group. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMPK Immaculata Ruteng, dengan jumlah keseluruhan 200 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak, dengan kelas VIII D (33 siswa) sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis CTL, sedangkan kelas VIII F (34 siswa) menjadi kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda, dan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 5,114, sementara ttabel adalah 1,668 pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Dengan mempertimbangkan aturan keputusan di mana tcount > ttabel, maka H0 (hipotesis nol) dapat ditolak. Abstract

Abstract: The Pancasila student profile is a character value and competency that is the goal of students by implementing the noble values of Pancasila. Implementing the Pancasila student profile is necessary to develop the student's character, which is starting to decline. This research aims to describe the implementation of the Pancasila student profile on protist material with the help of the Wizer.me application. The subjects in this research were 36 students from SMA Negeri 3 Mojokerto. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, and data collection is carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this research are that the Pancasila student profile has been implemented in schools very well. Teachers and students have been directed in learning the Merdeka Curriculum so that implementing the Pancasila student profile in each critical dimension, creative dimension, dimension of being devoted to God Almighty and having noble morals, dimensions of cooperation, and independence obtains satisfactory results. The Wizer.me application as a learning tool on protist material can be a fun, innovative, and effective learning reference. Keywords: pancasila student profile, protist, wizer.me. Abstrak: Profil pelajar Pancasila merupakan suatu nilai karakter serta kompetensi yang menjadi tujuan peserta didik dengan mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila. Urgensi penerapan profil pelajar Pancasila diperlukan bagi perkembangan karakter peserta didik yang mulai menurun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi profil pelajar Pancasila pada materi protista dengan berbantuan aplikasi wizer.me. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah peserta didik dari SMA Negeri 3 Kota Mojokerto sebanyak 36 orang. Jenis penelitian dengan deskriptif kualitatif serta pengumpulan data yang dilakukan mengunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini ialah implementasi profil pelajar Pancasila telah diterapkan di sekolah dengan sangat baik. Guru serta peserta didik sudah diarahkan dalam pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka, sehingga implementasi profil pelajar Pancasila pada tiap dimensi kritis, dimensi kreatif, dimensi bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berakhlak mulia, dimensi bergotong royong dan mandiri memperoleh hasil yang memuaskan.
