Abstract

The development of production capacity and product diversification for herbal drinks (jamu) is crucial to enhance the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Gununggajah, Klaten Regency. This community service initiative was motivated by the potential of jamu as a traditional heritage product that can significantly contribute to local economic growth. However, the challenges faced by UMKM, including limited production skills, lack of innovation, and low market reach, hinder their competitiveness. The program aimed to empower local UMKM by improving production techniques, diversifying product variations, and strengthening branding strategies. The activities included training sessions, hands-on workshops, and mentoring in financial and digital marketing management. The results demonstrated increased production efficiency, the creation of innovative jamu products, and expanded market access for participating businesses. This initiative underscores the importance of continuous support for UMKM to foster sustainable economic development in rural areas.

Abstract

Environmental cleanliness in Indonesia, especially in Ngetrep Village, is a big challenge that has not been fully resolved. The Alms Rosok Program, which is implemented through a collaborative KKN between Sunan Kalijaga University and IAIN Kediri, aims to increase community involvement in waste management, as an effort to encourage a culture of sustainable cleanliness. This program invites the public to donate household waste that still has sales value, such as used bottles, cardboard and cans, which will then be sold to financially support the NU organization in the village. Methods for implementing activities include socializing the program through religious forums such as yasinan and tahlilan, distributing rubbish bags, as well as collecting and sorting rubbish by KKN students. The results of the activity show increased community participation in waste management and the creation of a cleaner and healthier environment, as well as making a positive contribution to the sustainability of cleanliness in Ngetrep Village.

Abstract

Jawet is a traditional weaving technique that has been passed down from generation to generation in the Dayak community of Sepang Simin Village. This handicraft has obstacles, namely the lack of human resources to help and manage the woven jawet products and market them. This community service activity aims to optimize the branding and marketing of the local heritage of jawet weaving craftsmen in Sepang Simin Village, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. This community service activity uses the ABCD model for rattan jawet craftsmen. The results of the community service activity show that jawet weaving not only functions as a handicraft product, but also as a symbol of the cultural identity of the local community. Product branding is done by naming the product "Jawetan Dayak". Product marketing is optimized through social media Instagram and Facebook to reach a wider market. Marketing is done with a contemporary promotional design so that it can reach a wider market segment. The results of this product branding and marketing have proven to have increased the market reach of jawetan products because buyers can make transactions through social media.

Abstract

This community service program aims to encourage the legality and sustainability of MSMEs in Blimbing Village through the issuance of Business Identification Numbers (NIB). Business legality is an important factor in the development of MSMEs because it can increase market access, make it easier to apply for financing, and provide legal certainty for business actors. Many MSMEs in Blimbing Village have not been officially registered and have difficulty obtaining business legality. Therefore, this activity is carried out by providing assistance to MSMEs in the NIB application process via the Online Single Submission (OSS) platform. Methods for implementing activities include socialization, training, and direct assistance to business actors. The results of this activity show that MSMEs in Blimbing Village increasingly understand the importance of business legality and have successfully applied for an NIB for their business. With the NIB, it is hoped that MSMEs can develop further, gain consumer trust and be competitive in the wider market.
