Abstract

The teaching and learning process in the perspective of Islamic education is influenced by various factors involving intellectual, spiritual, social, and physical aspects. This study aims to identify the main factors that influence the teaching and learning process according to the philosophy of Islamic education. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method. With this research method, the researcher reviews and identifies journals systematically in the Google Scholar database and several online books. The literature analysis shows that the factors found include spiritual aspects and sincere intentions in learning, harmonious relationships between teachers and students, a conducive educational environment, and teaching methods that prioritize dialogue and a humanistic approach. Additionally, motivational factors stemming from the intention to seek knowledge for the benefit of both this world and the hereafter, parental and community involvement, and the importance of teaching ethics and character also play a significant role in shaping educational success. The results of the study show that Islamic educational philosophy emphasizes a balance between the aspects of reason and heart in the learning process, which aims not only to acquire knowledge but also to shape noble character in each individual. This study also provides insight into how these factors interact in shaping an effective and meaningful teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Islamic educational philosophy is a branch of knowledge that discusses the concepts, principles, and objectives of education based on Islamic teachings. This article examines how philosophical thinking in the context of Islamic education can help us understand the essence of education as a process of forming perfect human beings in harmony with divine and human values. This philosophical approach explores fundamental issues such as the purpose of education, the concept of humanity, the role of teachers, teaching methods, and the relevance of knowledge from an Islamic perspective. Using conceptual analysis and textual hermeneutics, this research demonstrates that Islamic educational philosophy emphasizes a balance between intellectual, emotional, and physical education, as well as the importance of integrating religious and secular knowledge. This article is expected to serve as a foundation for the development of an educational system that is relevant to the needs of Muslims in the modern era, without neglecting the underlying theological principles.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the world of Quranic tafsir. This transformation has not only affected distribution and accessibility, but also influenced the authority, methods, and forms of tafsir itself. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of tafsir in the digital age by highlighting three main aspects: changes in the form and patterns of tafsir, the role of digital media in the dissemination of tafsir, and the positive opportunities arising from this phenomenon. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative-descriptive approach. The results of the study show that digital media has played a major role in democratizing access to tafsir, expanding the scope of Islamic themes, and providing a new space for more open religious discourse. However, these dynamics also present serious challenges such as a crisis of scientific authority, the spread of tafsir without scientific validation, and the risk of polarization due to social media algorithms. These findings underscore the importance of Islamic digital literacy and the active role of religious institutions in guiding responsible tafsir practices in the digital age.

Abstract

Our country is a country governed by law. From a legal perspective, in order to maintain order in Islamic society, marriages must be registered at the Office of Religious Affairs as stipulated in Article 2 paragraph (1) of Law No. 1 of 1974 and Article 4 of the Compilation of Islamic Law. The government provides a solution for unregistered marriages through the process of itsbath marriage. The provisions of the law that serve as the legal basis for the Religious Court to perform itsbath marriage are the explanation of Article 49 paragraph (2) point 22 of Law No. 7 of 1989 concerning Religious Courts and Article 7 paragraphs (2) and (3) letter d of the Compilation of Islamic Law. The results of the study show that isbat marriage is a request for marriage validation submitted to the Religious Court to declare the marriage valid so that it has legal force. The reasons for submitting itsbath marriage are contained in the Compilation of Islamic Law Article 7 paragraph (3), namely; the existence of a marriage in the context of settlement, the loss of a marriage certificate, a marriage that took place before the enactment of the Marriage Law No. 1 of 1974, or a marriage conducted by individuals who do not have any legal impediments to marriage under Law No. 1 of 1974. The persons entitled to apply for itsbat marriage are specified in Article 7(4) of the Compilation of Islamic Law, namely: the husband, wife, their children, and parties with an interest in the marriage. The urgency or purpose of itsbat marriage is to provide legal certainty for every marriage and to provide legal protection for the offspring of each couple. An application for itsbat marriage may be filed at the Religious Court in the place of residence of the couple seeking itsbat marriage.

Abstract

Character education is an integral and very important part of education in Indonesia and is considered important because it can be a means of shaping good behavior. Therefore, good overall education management is needed in terms of the intellectual, technical, psychological, social, moral, and religious aspects of students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Islamic education model based on boarding schools in shaping the character of students, which has been implemented at the junior high school level in one of the schools in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with data sources obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by interpreting the data that had been successfully collected, and conclusions were drawn from this interpretation. Data validity was examined using triangulation methods, namely by seeking the same data sources through various data collection techniques. The results of this study indicate that: i) Boarding school programs in Islamic secondary schools consistently reinforce positive values and provide opportunities for students to practice and apply these values in their daily lives, which can have a greater impact on character building. ii) The effectiveness of character building in schools does not depend solely on the school itself. The involvement and support of parents, the commitment of teachers, and the individual efforts of students also play an important role in shaping the character development of students.

Abstract

Being an Islamic Religious Education teacher is a profession that demands balanced intellectual, emotional, and spiritual abilities. An Islamic Religious Education teacher not only acts as an educator but also serves as a moral guide responsible for shaping the character and morals of students. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in classroom management through the implementation of effective learning strategies to cultivate students with noble character. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation involving teachers, school officials, and students who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. All data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. The results show that Islamic Religious Education teachers strive to implement effective classroom management by balancing firmness and empathy in enforcing rules, involving students in rule-setting, understanding student behavior through a personal approach, and providing support and motivation in learning. These efforts contribute to creating a conducive learning environment oriented toward the development of students' noble character. However, this study also found challenges, including low discipline and learning motivation among some students. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing classroom management strategies based on Islamic values, emphasizing a balance among cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects in character formation.
