Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of training, further education, and teaching experience on teacher professionalism development. The study employed ex-post facto research method. The totalpopulation is 423 people, and the research sample is 112 people, who obtained by employingpurposive sampling technique. Data collection employed documentation and questionnaire. Theprerequisite test employed the data normality test, data linearity test, data multi-collinearity test, anddata heteroscedasticity test. The results of the descriptive analysis indicate that training, furthereducation, and teaching experience have contributed to productive teacher professionalismdevelopment at public vocational schools in Makassar city, which is in very high category. Based onthe hypothesis test using a simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression test, it isdiscovered that: (1) there is a significant influence between training and productive teacherprofessionalism development at public vocational schools in Makassar city. The test results show thatthe sig. is 0.000 < 0.05 with a contribution of 33.1%, (2) there is a significant influence betweenfurther education and productive teacher professionalism development at public vocational schools inMakassar city. The test results show that the sig. is 0.000 < 0.05 and has an influence of 31.3%, (3)there is a significant influence between teaching experience and productive teacher professionalismdevelopment at public vocational schools in Makassar city. The test results show that the sig. is 0.000< 0.05 and has an influence of 46.4%, and (4) the training, further education, and teachingexperience collectively have an influence on productive teacher professionalism development atpublic vocational schools in Makassar city. The test results show that the sig. is 0.000 < 0.05 and hasan influence of 50.6%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) an overview of students' basic competency learning skills at Takalar State Vocational School, (2) an overview of Student Field Work Practices (PKL) at Takalar State Vocational School, (3) an overview of Student Self-Efficacy at Takalar State Vocational School, (4) an overview of student work readiness at Takalar State Vocational School, (5) the effect of basic skills competency learning on student work readiness at Takalar State Vocational School, (6) the effect of Field Work Practices (PKL) on student work readiness at Takalar State Vocational School, (7) the effectof Self-Efficacy On the work readiness of students at Takalar State Vocational School, (8) the joint effect of learning basic competency skills, field work practices, and self-efficacy on student work readiness at Takalar State Vocational School. This type of research is quantitative research with the Expost Facto method. The samplein the study was 123 students of class XII. Research data obtained by documentation and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique used was descriptivestatistical analysis, inferential statistics and hypothesis testing using the SPSS program. The research results show that; (1) students' basic competency learning skills are in the "high" category, (2) Student Field Work Practices are in the "high" category, (3) Self-Efficacy is in the "high" category, (4) student work readiness is in the "high" category (5) there is an effect of learning basic competency skills onstudents' work readiness at Takalar State Vocational School, (6) there is an effect of Field Work Practices (PKL) on student work readiness at Takalar State Vocational School, (7) there is an effect o Self-Efficacy on Student Work Readiness at Takalar State Vocational School, (8) there is a joint influence between learning basic competency skills, field work practices, and self-efficacy on student work readiness at Takalar State Vocational School.

Abstract

SMK is a vocational secondary education, which aims to prepare students to become professional workers to work in certain fields. The results of preliminary observations indicate that the students’ work readiness at SMKN in Light Vehicle Engineering Competency in Makassar City is still not optimal. The purpose of this study is to discover the description of industrial apprentice, learning achievement in productive subjects, entrepreneurship interest, and work readiness as well as to analyze the influence of industrial apprentice, learning achievement in productive subjects, and entrepreneurship interest on students’ work readiness at SMKN in Light Vehicle Engineering Skills Competency in Makassar City partially and simultaneously. This study is a type of ex post facto research with a quantitative approach. The research population were students of SMKN in Light Vehicle Engineering Competency in Makassar City. The sampling technique employed proportional random sampling technique with 122 students. Data collection techniques were conducted by employing questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis were conducted by employing descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study reveal that the level of industrial apprentice is categorized in good category by 91%, learning achievement in productive subjects is categorized in good category by 89%, entrepreneurship interest is categorized in high category by 86%, and work readiness is categorized in high category by 84%. There is a positive and significant influence of industrial apprentice, learning achievement of productive subjects, and entrepreneurship interest on students’ work readiness partially 61%, 77.5%, 29% respectively, and 85.3% simultaneously.

Abstract

Competence at Somba Opu Vocational School, Gowa Regency. (guided by: Muhammad Yahya and Muh Yusuf Mappeasse). This study aims to determine: (1) The effect of the level of adequacy of practice facilities and infrastructure in the TKJ Laboratory on student competence at SMK Somba Opu Technology, Gowa Regency; (2) The effect of the level of up-to-date practice facilities and infrastructure in the TKJ Laboratory on student competence at Somba Opu Technology Vocational School, Gowa Regency; (3) The effect of learning motivation on student competency at the Somba Opu Vocational School of Technology, Gowa Regency; (4) The simultaneous influence of the adequacy of facilities and infrastructure, the up-to-date facilities and infrastructure and learning motivation on student competence at SMK Somba Opu Technology, Gowa Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with an ex-post facto approach. The sample in this study was 90 students. Research data obtained by questionnaire and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis. The research results show that; (1) there is a significant effect of the level of adequacy of practice facilities and infrastructure in the TKJ Laboratory on student competence of 7.9%, (2) there is a significant effect of the level of up-to-date practice facilities and infrastructure in the TKJ Laboratory on studentcompetency of 4.7%, (3) there is a significant effect of learning motivation on student competence of6.7%, there is a joint effect of adequacy of facilities and infrastructure, up-to-date facilities andinfrastructure and learning motivation on student competence in Somba Opu Technology VocationalSchool, Gowa Regency of 16.2 %

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to discover (1) the results of developing the location based service application on the Android platform that can be used to find ta'lim information during the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) the effectiveness of ta'lim information application using location based service on the Android platform during the Covid-19 pandemic, and (3) the practicality of ta'lim informationapplications using location based service during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of study is Research and Development (R&D) using a prototype model. Data collection techniques used were literature studies, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was qualitative. The results of the study are: (1) the development of ta’lim location information application usinglocation based service on android platform during the Covid-19 pandemic is declared as valid andfeasible to be used measured by the media and content experts’ validation, then tested on functionality and maintainability aspects, (2) the test results of ta'lim information application using location basedservice on the android platform during the Covid-19 pandemic confirm that the application is effective to be used from the aspects of functionality, portability, reliability, and usability, as well as validation from the content expert, and (3) the test results of ta’lim information application using location based service on android platform during the Covid-19 is declared as practical to be used measured from the aspects of portability, security, and usability, as well as validation by the media expert.

Abstract

This study aims to; 1) determine the results of the development of a reporting system for field work practice (PKL) of students at UPT SMKN 7 Jeneponto. This research using the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the prototyping development model.prototyping development model. The data collection technique uses interviews, questionnaires and software which measures the quality of the software that has been developed. The research results show1) the PKL reporting system or SIP-PKL is a system used to assist the reporting of PKL at SMKN 7 Jeneponto which consists of 4 user accesses, namely admin, teacher, and teacher. PKL reporting at SMKN 7 Jeneponto which consists of 4 user accesses, namely admin, teacher, field supervisors and students, 2) system testing using ISO 25010 in the aspect of functionality suitability with the test results are valid which are tested by experts, 3) practicality SIP-PKL refers to testing the usability and reliability aspects where the usability test results show a percentage of 95.7% from 6 aspects.usability test results show a percentage of 95.7% of the 6 aspects of testing and the results of reliability testing using WAPT 10.1 software.WAPT 10.1 software obtained a value of 98.46% so that it fulfills the reliability aspect, 4) portability and performance efficiency testing is used to measure the effectiveness of a system where 100% results are obtained in portability testing. system where 100% results were obtained in portability testing on desktop and mobile environments and grate B (80-89). mobile environment and grate B (80-89%) in performance efficiency testing with GTMetrix tools, and 5) SIP-PKL is used to measure the effectiveness of a system. 5) SIP-PKL that has been developed gets good feedback from users.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan model pembelajaran teaching factory di SMK Negeri 4 Gowa dari aspek contect, input, process dan product. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan model evaluasi CIPP. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakasek kurikulum, guru pengelolah teaching factory dan peserta didik, sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran teaching factory. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan penyebaran angket/kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dalam evaluasi pelaksanaan model pembelajaran teaching factory menunjukkan bahwa 1) komponen context yang terdiri dari dua aspek mendapatkan nilai persentase 85,4% atau kategori baik, 2) komponen input yang terdiri dari lima aspek mendapatkan nilai persentase 83,7% atau kategori baik, 3) komponen process yang terdiri dari empat aspek mendapatkan nilai persentase 86,3% atau kategori baik, dan 4) komponen product yang terdiri dari dua aspek mendapatkan nilai persentase 83,4% atau kategori baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan model pembelajaran teaching factory pada program keahlian Agribisnis Tanaman Pangan dan Holtikultura di SMK Negeri 4 Gowa dinyatakan baik.

Abstract

This research aims to; (1) to determine the culinary work skills required by hotels in the city of Makassar, (2) to determine the level of relevance of culinary work competencies to hotels in the city of Makassar. This type of research includes quantitative descriptive research with survey methods. This research uses quantitative descriptive statistical data analysis techniques with percentages. The results of this research show that; 1) A total of 32 basic competencies with a percentage of 100% are really needed by the Four Point By Sheraton Hotel Makassar, Swiss-Bel Hotel Makassar, and the Aston Hotel and Convention Center Makassar. (2) the level of relevance of work competency in the relevant category is 97.22%. (3) 2.78% or 22 work competencies were obtained that were irrelevant or not needed in several hotels.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine (1) the influence of the principal's leadership and infrastructure together on teacher performance. (2) the partial influence of the principal's leadership and infrastructure on teacher performance. This type of research is explanatory research using a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were all teachers from two schools, namely SMK Somba Opu and SMK YPKK Limbung in Gowa Regency, totaling 84 respondents using a sampling technique, namely census. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The research results show that (1) There is an influence of the principal's leadership and infrastructure together on teacher performance with an F test of 52.463. This means that the principal's leadership and infrastructure work together to create higher teacher performance. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of the principal's leadership and partial infrastructure on teacher performance. The positive and significant influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance is proven by the t test value of 5.254. This means that the better the principal's leadership, the higher the teacher's performance. There is a positive and significant influence of infrastructure on teacher performance as evidenced by the t test value of 2.924. This means that the more complete the school infrastructure, the teacher performance will increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The Effectiveness of the Application of the Flipped Classroom Learning Model on Student Creative Thinking Skills, (2) The Effectiveness of the Application of the Flipped Classroom Learning Model on Student Digital Literacy Skills, (3) The Effectiveness of the Application of the Flipped Classroom Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes of the Accounting Department of Alauddin Makassar State Islamic University. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi experimental approach. The population in this study were students of classes A, B and C of the Accounting Department at Alauddin Makassar State Islamic University totalling 92 students. The research sample amounted to 61 students. The results of this study showed: (1) The implementation of the Lantern-based flipped classroom model is effective on students' creative thinking skills, (2) The implementation of the Lantern-based flipped classroom model is effective on students' digital literacy skills. (3) The implementation of the Lantern-based flipped classroom model is effective on student learning outcomes of the Accounting Department of Alauddin Makassar State Islamic University.
