Abstract

Due to the lack of variety of ICT media used in learning, researchers provided assistance to the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mambaul Ulum Candipari, this assistance was to provide understanding and awareness to teachers of the importance of using ICT-based teaching media "Kahoot" and Improve the quality and skills of teachers in using ICT-based technology applications (Kahoot) to teach students remotely so that interest and learning outcomes increase. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of this PKM implementation, there are 8 out of 10 teachers who are able to make ICT-based Teaching Media "Kahoot" or 80% of teachers who are able to make ICT-based Teaching Media "Kahoot". And there is 2 teacher or 20% who has not been able to make Teaching Media using Kahoot. This happens because teachers still have difficulty using technology and are still using Kahoot for the first time as an application to create Teaching Media. This research and assistance has succeeded in opening up the insight of teachers and developing teacher abilities in making learning media at MI Mambaul Ulum Candipari. The teachers have been able to develop interactive media using Kahoot with various themes contained in the 2013 curriculum. For this reason, this activity can provide benefits in increasing teacher development, creativity and awareness of the importance of media in learning.

Abstract

Zakat is one of the five pillars of faith where zakat is a matter that must be done for everyone who has converted, but in its implementation in the community, there are many who are still neglectful in the matter of zakat, because they still consider their property to be completely owned by them. even though Allah SWT in his word in the Qur'an several verses state, in the wealth of the rich there is the right of the poor, and if the rights of the poor are not removed, they eat up the rights of others. So with this description, we carry out community service at the BPPT Al Fattah Siman Superior High School, because it is to invite zakat from an early age with an understanding of how to present zakat. This activity was carried out with the initial pretest method, socialization with lectures and practice and closed with a posttest to see the results of this activity. And after this activity, it is hoped that it will raise awareness of zakat and know the percentage of zakat that is good and right.

Abstract

Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) material training is needed to prepare for tests at post-high school level. In Indonesia, TPS is widely used for tests such as a test of university entrance selection, test of job recruitment, and the scholarship test. TPS is also used to measure a person’s intelligence. One of the phenomena that occurred in high school in Jombang was that there is no TPS material lesson, especially in 11th or 12th grade. This happened because it followed the school curriculum.So, students will be less prepared for their tests. This training aims to introduce and train students to solve on various types of TPS questions. The materials include general reasoning, quantitative knowledge, and general knowledge. The result of this training is 80% of the participants were able to improve their post-test score. The method which had been used in this training consists of several stages like observation, requirement analysis, design, material development, training, and evaluation. Result of this training is an increase in student test scores after training. Post-test score shows an increase in the number of participants who passed a passing grade by 30% from the previous one. So, total of 70% of the participants or about 28 trainees were able to pass the passing grade.

Abstract

The use of anorganic fertilizers is most popular among farmers, the lack of subsidies from the government for anorganic fertilizers so that the scarcity of fertilizers becomes important problem for farmers. The purpose of this activity is to assist farmers in the use of photosynthetic bacteria as fertilizers for plants. The method used is in the form of counseling, and mentoring in the practice of cultivated bacterial photosynthesis for application in fields. The results of the activities showed that before the training the majority of trainees (82.5%) did not know and understand photosynthetic bacterial fertilizers, after training the majority of trainees (80.4%) knew and understood, and were skilled in making and using photosynthetic bacteria. Participation and enthusiasm were shown by the participants during the activity.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has been declared reduced, although maintaining health protocols is still applied. The logical consequence of the ongoing needs of life, many business sectors have started to rise and start their business again. However, large-scale businesses have not recovered because during the pandemic many of them collapsed, went bankrupt and laid off many of their employees. It was SMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) that could survive. However, to survive more safely, creative and innovative ideas are needed to reduce costs to be efficient. One way for creative and innovative ideas is to do marketing through the internet or often referred to as digital marketing. Digital marketing is now being popularly introduced and used in various business sectors. Digital marketing cuts costs a lot, including space, time, energy and promotional costs. Even people can sell without leaving the house. Therefore, this community service activity is interested in conducting training and mentoring for MSMEs with the theme "Training and Assistance in the Use of Personal Branding in Digital Marketing for MSMEs in Gilingan Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta". Through this community service activity, we will provide a solution to this problem by providing HR Quality Improvement Training in Branding Strategies Through Digital Marketing for MSMEs. This service activity is carried out using a personal and group approach according to the needs and abilities of the participants and direct training at 6-month intervals. with the target output of scientific publications/print media (online). This community service activity has been carried out routinely and is part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education: Education, Research and Community Service Activities

Abstract

In the era of globalization, we are faced with erratic changes, like fishermen on the "high seas" who can mislead if they do not have a "compass" as a guide and act to sail it. This has resulted in a non-linear relationship between education and employment. Canva learning, at this stage, observations or observations will be carried out in the field regarding the obstacles experienced by the teacher when carrying out learning in class, especially when teaching the topic of procedure text material. Because what happens in the workforce is difficult for the world of education to follow, this activity method is carried out in community service activities for the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI). They are namely conducting workshops on making learning media to support teaching and learning activities using the Canva application, which is carried out online. Offline at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, the results of the activities can be concluded, and the teacher understands the development of using the Canva application. The results show that using digital-based media has never been done with several contributing factors—learning trends in the 21st-century demand learning resources that are unlimited in number. As the initial foundation for students to understand knowledge and technology, elementary schools need to instill the importance of using media in both the 2013 curriculum and the Merdeka Learning curriculum, whose aim is to increase interest and results. Learning of students at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.

Abstract

This service aims to socialize the development of flipbook learning media at MI Nurul Qomar. The service method used is a development method that is oriented towards product development. The results of the dedication show that: socializing the development of flipbook learning media at MI Nurul Qomar, namely an explanation of the dynamics of the mentoring process for the various activities carried out, forms of technical action or program action to solve community problems. It also explains the expected emergence of social change, for example the emergence of new institutions, changes in behavior, the emergence of local leaders, and the creation of new awareness towards social transformation, and so on. This section also discusses the theoretical findings of the dedication process from the beginning to the occurrence of social change.

Abstract

In this modern era, English is an international language that must be mastered by all people. In the world of education, English is introduced from an early age through various methods. However, not all schools are able to apply effective learning methods according to the level and characteristics of students. As is the case in Dateng Village, Laren sub-district, the teaching and learning process in several elementary schools is still very ineffective, especially in learning English. Ineffectiveness has an impact on students' motivation and enthusiasm for learning. One of the factors is the lack of fun learning methods. Therefore, the selection of media needs to be considered before learning activities. In this teaching and learning the Community Service team uses the Englsih for Young Learners theory approach with media suitable for elementary level students, namely through games to develop English vocabulary.. This media focuses on listening, listening, and speaking skills. The purpose of learning English is to increase students' enthusiasm in learning English and improve English language skills that are more effective and fun. The results of community service are 1. Interest and ability of students in learning English is increased 2. Basic abilities, especially in English vocabulary are more varied

Abstract

Social assistance (Bansos) has received great attention from many parties because many are interested in the existence of social assistance itself. The process of budgeting, evaluation, and monitoring must be carried out in a transparent and accountable manner as part of the administration of social assistance funds so that the public is aware of the methods used by the government or the agency managing these funds. The problems faced in managing social assistance funds accountable and transparently are at the neighborhood level (RT). Where not all RT administrators are able to provide financial reports on proper management of funds according to accounting principles. The purpose of this research is through this activity, to prove the effect of transparency, competence, internal control system, and organizational commitment. The method we use is the method of implementation in this socialization activity is lecture, question and answer and discussion. The participants in this service are the people in Rt. 34 Kelurahan Sambutan, Sambutan Subdistrict, Samarinda City was attended by 85 people and the result of this service was the administrators of Rt. 34 Kelurahan Sambatan Sambutan Sub-District Samarinda City has understood the concept of managing social assistance funds in an accountable and transparent manner and compiled the financial reports even better so as to increase the trust of the local community.

Abstract

The main purpose of community service activities in the form of training on the financial submission system of the Dompet Yatim and Dhuafa Foundation is to help increase the knowledge of the Foundation's administrators in terms of using the financial submission system that has been applied to this Foundation previously. With theimplementation of this system, it is hoped that the daily operational activities of the Foundation will be more optimal where the existence of the Foundation's financial submission system will make it easier for administrators to make financial submissions anywhere and anytime according to the needs of their respective divisions. This community service activity was carried out in the form of training and guidance to the relevant Foundation administrators and was carried out for two days at the secretariat office of the Dompet Yatim Foundation and Dhuafa Depok. There are four stages in this PKM activity, namely the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. At the planning stage, surveys and interviews with relevant partners are carried out regarding the obstacles and problems faced. Furthermore, at the stage of implementing this community service activity, the participants received a presentation on material related to the use of the Foundation's financial submission system and also the provision of a system use module. At the evaluation stage, assistance is carried out on the use of the system after the activity. The expected result of the service activities in the form of this training is to increase the understanding and skills of the Foundation's administrators in terms of using the financial submission application system so that they can optimize the daily operational activities of the Dompet Yatim and Dhuafa Foundations.
