V-MACHINE; Vocational and Machines Community Service Journal: Community Service Journal which is managed and published by the Applied Undergraduate Study Program, Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University (PTM FT UNM) is a peer-reviewed journal which contains scientific articles from various scientific disciplines adopted from results of community service activities. This journal publication aims to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas as well as research results that have been achieved in the field of community service. V-Machine specifically focuses on the main problems in the development of community service sciences which are then packaged in the form of articles published as a result of Community Service activities. V-Machine accepts manuscripts or articles. Service in scientific fields such as Social, Technical, Education, Learning, Technology and Vocational Affairs which are relevant include: (1) Community Service, Community, Local Food Security; (2) Training, Marketing, Appropriate Technology, Design; (3) Community Empowerment, Social Access; (4) Student Community Service; (5) Border Areas, Disadvantaged Areas; (6) Education for Sustainable Development. V-Machine Journal is published twice in May and November every year.

Abstract

The development of teaching modules aligned with the Merdeka curriculum for junior and senior high schools is essential to improving the quality of education. Several studies have highlighted the importance of supporting teachers in creating teaching modules based on the Merdeka curriculum to address the challenges faced by educators who may not fully understand the concepts and techniques required. These studies emphasize the importance of training sessions and workshops to equip teachers with the skills needed to develop effective teaching modules that are aligned with the principles of the Merdeka curriculum. In addition, integrating 21st-century skills into teaching modules is essential to prepare students for the challenges of the modern era. The Merdeka curriculum emphasizes the freedom to design learning experiences that are tailored to students' needs and encourage deeper understanding of the material. It also encourages the use of innovative approaches, such as problem-based learning, to enhance the effectiveness of teaching modules. In addition, mathematics teachers' readiness to implement the Merdeka curriculum was assessed as positive, indicating a willingness to embrace a new educational paradigm. However, challenges remain, such as the need for further support in developing instructional materials that are aligned with the thematic nature of the Merdeka curriculum. The development of teaching modules that are aligned with the Merdeka curriculum is an important aspect of modern education. By providing teachers with the necessary training and resources, schools can ensure that students receive high-quality education that is aligned with the principles of the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

Enhancement of makeup skills with a natural flawless look is becoming increasingly popular among teenage girls in Makassar City. This look emphasizes natural beauty, with a fresh and understated finish. This research aims to explore effective methods and techniques to improve natural flawless makeup skills among teenage girls. The methods used include training sessions, workshops, lectures, and practical tutorial demonstrations focusing on the preparation of tools, materials, and cosmetics, the correct use of products, and appropriate application techniques. The research results show that the teenage girls who participated in this program experienced a significant improvement in their understanding and skills in applying natural flawless makeup. They also reported an increase in confidence in expressing themselves through makeup. This study suggests the need for further education and access to supportive resources for teenage girls to develop their makeup skills responsibly and creatively, potentially leading to new business opportunities Keywords: Enhancement, Skill, Makeup, Natural,Flawless

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka merupakan pendekatan yang memberikan kebebasan dan fleksibilitas kepada sekolah untuk menyesuaikan kurikulum dengan kebutuhan lokal dan karakteristik siswa. Di sekolah kejuruan, pelaksanaan program Merdeka menekankan pada pengembangan keterampilan praktis dan kreativitas untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi dunia kerja. Proses pembelajaran proyek rill mencakup berbagai tahap, mulai dari analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan, produksi, hingga evaluasi dan layanan purna jual. Siswa belajar untuk menganalisis, membuat, dan mempresentasikan produk berdasarkan pengalaman nyata. Model ini juga mendorong kolaborasi antara sekolah dan industri, memastikan bahwa pembelajaran relevan dengan kebutuhan pasar. Dalam kegiatan PKM pelatihan pembelajaran berbasis project rill pada SMK. Guru dilatih membuat model pembelajaran yang outputnya merupakan produk/jasa yang menjadi ciri khas setiap sekolah misal Siswa jurusan Teknik Mesin membuat komponen mesin yang dipesan oleh industri lokal. Proyek ini melibatkan seluruh proses dari desain, produksi, hingga pengujian kualitas. Project rill berupa Jasa misalnya siswa jurusan Tata Boga membuka layanan katering untuk acara-acara lokal. Mereka bertanggung jawab atas perencanaan menu, persiapan makanan, dan layanan kepada pelanggan. Proyek-proyek ini tidak hanya mengembangkan keterampilan teknis siswa, tetapi juga meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam bekerja sama, memecahkan masalah, dan berkomunikasi secara efektif.

Abstract

Childhood is a golden period in the formation of healthy living habits. Therefore, children need to be introduced to the concept of a healthy home from an early age. The targets for this PKM are kindergarten students at Kindergarten Dua Putra Sudiang, Makassar City. The aim of this PKM activity is to introduce healthy homes to kindergarten students at TK 2 Putra Sudiang where this can support students in creating healthy and comfortable home environmental conditions. The implementation method used is the method of discussion, question and answer and direct practice in recognizing the difference between a healthy house and an unhealthy house through simple activities. It is hoped that this PKM activity will be able to increase partners' knowledge about healthy homes. Based on the results of the training, it can be concluded that 1) partners can understand a healthy house, and 2) partners can know the difference between a public house and a healthy house, and 3) partners can explain the activities of arranging a house into a healthy home through children understanding simple actions in maintaining cleanliness such as cleaning toys, throwing rubbish in its place, wiping the table, holding a broom properly, and washing hands before and after eating.

Abstract

Abstrak; Pembangunan Sistem Pengelolaan Air Limbah (SPAL) di Desa Bababulo Utara, Kecamatan Pamboang, Kabupaten Majene, Provinsi Sulawesi Barat, merupakan inisiatif penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan dan lingkungan masyarakat. Artikel ini mendokumentasikan proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi proyek pembangunan SPAL yang dilakukan sebagai bagian dari program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN).Metodologi yang digunakan dalam proyek ini melibatkan pendekatan teknikal, ekologis, dan sosial. mahasiswa KKN Reguler Angkatan L melakukan diskusi,observasi dan pengawasan konstruksi untuk memastikan bahwa proyek sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku. Selain itu, partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan edukasi mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan air limbah juga menjadi fokus utama dalam kegiatan ini.Hasil dari pembangunan SPAL di Desa Bababulo Utara menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kualitas sanitasi dan kesehatan masyarakat. Pencemaran lingkungan akibat pembuangan air limbah sembarangan berhasil dikurangi, yang berdampak positif pada kebersihan dan kenyamanan desa. Infrastruktur desa juga mengalami perbaikan, terutama dalam hal sistem drainase yang lebih efektif dalam mencegah banjir dan genangan air. Kata Kunci: Air limbah,Kesehatan, Lingkungan.

Abstract

Abstrak Abstrak - PKM Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Tatakan Gelas Dari Kain Perca pada Yayasan Pendidikan Adhiputeri Kota Makassar perlu dilakukan untuk memberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada mitra sasaran tentang pentingnya Pelatihan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Tatakan Gelas Dari Kain Perca untuk manfaat jangka panjang mitra sasaran sehingga mitra sasaran dapat menjadikan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Tatakan Gelas Dari Kain Perca ini sebagai alternatif peluang usaha karena memiliki banyak peminat dari berbagai kalangan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam kegiatan PKM ini berfokus untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra, sebagai berikut: (1) Warga belajar yayasan adhiputeri pada umumnya masih produktif dan memiliki banyak waktu luang yang dapat digunakan untuk menambah keterampilan dan pendapatan keluarga. (2) Umumnya Warga belajar yayasan adhiputeri belum memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk manambah penghasilan keluarga. (3) Warga belajar yayasan adhiputeri belum pernah mendapat bantuan dari pemerintah atau instansi lain berupa pelatihan tentang bagaimana membuat tatakan gelas dari kain perca.Target yang ingin dicapai dalam pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah mitra dalam hal ini warga belajar Yayasan Adhiputeri memiliki kemampuan dalam pembuatan Tatakan Gelas Dari Kain Perca, mengetahui alat dan bahan yang digunakan untuk pembuatan tatakan gelas dari kain perca, dan sebagai solusi alternatif peluang usaha. Abstract

Mastery of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technology is one of the important skills for students in the digital era. This community service activity aims to improve the digital competence of students from the Department of Family Welfare Education (PKK), Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University through training in the use of AI-based websites, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini AI, and Grammarly. The training, which was attended by 56 students, lasted for two days, from 20 to 21 September 2024. Activities included an introduction to AI technology, a workshop on using websites, case simulations, and evaluation and reflection. The results of the training showed a significant increase in students' understanding and skills in utilizing AI technology to complete academic assignments, search for information, and manage projects. Participatory, problem-based, and collaborative training methods have proven effective in increasing participant engagement and understanding. This activity is expected to be the first step to integrating AI technology into the learning process and support students' readiness to face the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

The partners of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) are the Principal, Teachers, and Staff of SMAN 6 Barru. The priority problem underlying this training activity is to improve the effectiveness of the learning process by applying domino card learning media, because the use of effective and interactive learning media can increase students' interest and motivation to learn. The methods used were lectures, demonstrations, discussions, questions and answers, and accompanying partners. The results achieved are (1) Partners have knowledge related to domino card learning media, (2) Partners can apply domino card learning media (3) Partners have the ability to develop interactive learning media.
