Abstract

Learning independence is crucial for students to learn autonomously and effectively. This research aims to describe the training on the use of Canva in creating e-books as a learning media for Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) in the Merdeka Curriculum, with the goal of fostering students' learning independence. The research utilized a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the training on Canva for e-book creation contributes positively to students' learning independence. The training facilitates students in organizing information, expressing ideas, improving graphic design, collaborating, and fostering creativity. Participants acquire knowledge and skills in using Canva as a tool for creating e-books. They learn how to organize content, create appealing layouts, select suitable graphic designs, and effectively integrate text with images. The training also encourages collaboration among students, allowing them to share ideas and work together to achieve better outcomes. The utilization of Canva in e-book creation training proves to be an effective step in cultivating students' learning independence. Through this training, students can develop relevant skills, such as information organization, idea expression, graphic design enhancement, collaboration, and creativity. Therefore, incorporating Canva into PPKn lessons within the Merdeka Curriculum serves as an effective alternative for promoting students' learning independence.

Abstract

Learning difficulties experienced by students are based on the covid-19 pandemic which requires students to study at home so that students do not understand geometry material. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that cause students' learning difficulties in solving AKM problems and to find out students' learning difficulties in solving AKM problems. This research was conducted at SDN Pondok Cabe Ilir 01 in the 2022/2023 academic year with 3 research subjects based on their categories, namely high, medium, and low. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The test amounted to 15 questions. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that out of 27 students in the high category there were 3 students, in the medium category there were 14 students, and in the low category there were 10 students. The high category had learning difficulties in the use of principles and the causal factor came from external factors because they felt the teacher did not explain well, the medium category had learning difficulties in the use of concepts and the causal factor came from internal factors because they did not pay attention to the teacher when teaching, and the low category had learning difficulties in verbal problems and the causal factor came from internal factors because they did not dare to ask when they did not understand. The results of the study are expected to be useful for school principals, teachers, students, researchers, and other researchers.The results of this study are expected to be useful for principals, teachers, students, researchers, and other researchers

Abstract

Manners are a form of morals that must be owned by Muslims and is a culture of Indonesian society that needs to be upheld when socializing with other people. This study aims to describe the stages of cultivating polite values ​​through the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at SMPN 3 Kinali. This research is a type of field research, namely research with a qualitative approach. Subjects or key informants in this study were Tahfidz teachers and supporting objects or informants were students. To obtain research data, researchers used a set of interview guidelines and observation guidelines as research instruments. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that there are three stages in inculcating the character values ​​of courtesy by the tahfidz teacher for students through the Al-Quran Tahfidz program at SMPN 3 Kinali, namely: First, the moral knowing/learning to know stage (introduction of good values ​​and bad values). At this stage the teacher conveys good and bad values ​​through lectures in the form of presenting cases and delivering advice. Second, the moral loving/moral feeling stage (feelings of love and need for values). At this stage the teacher uses exemplary methods, giving physical touches and conveying inspirational stories from the time of the Prophets and Apostles. Third, the stage of moral doing/learning to do (implementation of good and bad values). This stage is carried out using the habituation method and giving rewards and punishments.

Abstract

At SLB Muftia Rahma Tilatang Kamang there are problems regarding conducting PAI learning for children with special needs,because teachers have difficulty conveying subject matter because of the diverse students, teachers who have graduated from guidance and counseling education, lack of school facilities and infrastructure, many teachers are unable attend as well as students of different levels combined in one class. The type of research used is qualitative research. The teacher as a key informant and the principal of the SLB Muftia Rahma Tilatang Kamang school as a supporting informant. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and data verification. To test the validity of the data, source triangulation and technique triangulation were used. The results showed that the implementation of PAI learning for children with special needs at SLB Muftia Rahma teachers understood the characteristics of students, mastered the subject matter by applying approaches, strategies and learning methods, developed curriculum adapted to students' conditions, prepared lesson plans and used learning media, communicated with effective, empathetic and polite as well as evaluating with questions and answers and demonstrations. The problems faced by the teacher are conveying subject matter to students, inviting students to work together and managing time for students.

Abstract

This research aims to introduce and train Tilang SDK teachers in utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point which provide interesting features as tools in the teaching and learning process because there are some teachers who cannot use and utilize the features provided. It's in Microsoft Office. This training was carried out at SDK Tilang with the main subject being the teachers at the school because based on the results of the review there were still teachers who used monotonous teaching media, namely thematic books. Apart from that, there were several teachers who were not yet able to operate the features in Microsoft Office.This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with the research subjects being teachers at SDK Tilang.

Abstract

Researchers conducted research at MTsN 01 Solok against the background of the current many complaints from educators regarding the teaching of Al-Qur'an Hadith material, especially in terms of reading the Al-Qur'an. This research aims to find out how many students still do not read the Al-Qur'an fluently and the efforts made by teachers to overcome this problem at MTsN 01 Solok. These problems are researched using descriptive qualitative research methods which are aimed at describing and analyzing phenomena and events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, thoughts of people individually and in groups using field research. To analyze the data, researchers grouped it based on existing problems. Based on the findings of research conducted by researchers, it shows that several obstacles faced by students at MTsN 01 Solok regarding Tutoring for Learning to Read and Write Al-Qur'an, one of which is that many of the students are not correct in pronouncing Makhorijul letters, fluency in reading Al-Qur'an. -Qur'an, provisions on recitation and methods in writing the Koran. The efforts made by the teacher in tutoring to read and write the Al-Qur'an before starting learning are that the teacher applies before starting the first 10 minutes of learning, students are asked to read the Al-Qur'an in turns and other students listen before learning begins.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Causes of Sexual Orientation Choices in the Gay Community in Kendari City". The aim of this research is to reveal and describe in the life history the causes of sexual orientation choices among gays in Kendari City. There were ten informants for this research, and there were seven informants who were willing to tell in the form of a life history the reasons for being gay. Data collection in this research is direct research in the field using ordinary observation methods, ordinary interviews, and in-depth interviews to search for life history data. The results of this research show that there are several factors that cause them to choose to be gay. Such as the sexual abuse he experienced since childhood, the lack of love he received from his parents, especially his father, the harsh upbringing he received from his parents as a child, and environmental factors, and also past trauma as a victim of sexual violence and abuse.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding concepts of student to solve mathematical question in the trigonometry. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approache with the type of descriptive research. The population in this study were XI MIPA 1 MAS Al-Falah Klender Jakarta Timur in the 2023/2024 school year. The sample in this study was 20% off all state Madrasah Aliyah in Klender sub-district in Jakarta Timur which were selected by non-probability sampling technique with a type of purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study by giving a test, the stages in this study are the stages of preparation, implementation, data analysis, preparation of research reports. The result of the research conducted at the Jakarta Timur Madrasah Aliyah can be concluded that the ability of class XI MIPA 1 MAS Al-Falah students to solve mathematical questions in the form trigonometry research 70,97%. That means the ability of students can be categorized as good.

Abstract

Based on preliminary study data at Yadika 8 Jatimulya Vocational School, it was found that mathematics scores, especially in understanding and solving geometric problems, were still low. This information was obtained through documentation studies and interviews with mathematics teachers in class X majoring in AKL-1, who revealed students' difficulties in understanding and solving geometry problems. Even after the material and examples have been taught, students still experience difficulties when faced with new questions with changes in numbers and question patterns. Their ability to analyze story problems and picture questions and relate them to objects around them is also relatively low. In response to these findings, this research aims to describe the spatial abilities of students who have visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. This research is entitled "Analysis of Spatial Visual Ability in Solving Geometry Problems in View of the Learning Style of Class X Students of Vocational School Yadika 8 Jatimulya" and applies descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. Research subjects were selected using a purposive sampling technique, namely with certain considerations after giving a learning style questionnaire to all class X students at SMK Yadika 8 Jatimulya. One class was selected that had students with three different learning styles: visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. Next, students were given a written test on flat-sided spatial figures to measure their spatial abilities, and unstructured interviews were used as a data collection method. The results showed variations in students' visual spatial abilities based on their learning styles. Students with a visual learning style have good abilities in imagination, concepts, problem solving, and searching for visual patterns. Students with an auditory learning style have good abilities in concepts and problem solving, although their imagination is less strong. Students with a kinesthetic learning style seem to face difficulties in all aspects of visual-spatial abilities. In addition, the test results show that the majority of students have a moderate level of visual spatial ability. They are able to understand geometric concepts and apply them well, but there are some students who show low visual spatial abilities that require further attention. The research results also revealed a correlation between students' learning styles and their visual spatial abilities. Students with a visual learning style tend to have higher visual-spatial abilities than students with an auditory or kinesthetic learning style. This highlights the importance of understanding students' learning styles in designing effective learning strategies. Overall, this research emphasizes the importance of visual spatial abilities in solving geometric problems and the influence of students' learning styles on these abilities. This has important implications in developing learning strategies that suit individual student learning styles, especially in the context of learning geometry at SMK Yadika 8 Jati Mulya. Teachers can utilize the results of this research to design more effective learning approaches and increase the potential of each student.

Abstract

This research discusses the motives and impacts of the murder of a money-making shaman in Banjarnegara using sociological analysis. The method used is a qualitative approach with literature review. This case was analyzed using Sutherland's Differential Association theory. The results of the research show that the murder case of a money-making shaman in Banjarnegara is an action that can be studied by the techniques and methods of criminal acts. Also, before the criminal act occurs, there is a process of interpreting the profits and losses by the perpetrator.
