Abstract

Situational leadership is a leadership approach that emphasizes the leader's flexibility and adaptability in adapting the leadership style to the situation and needs of subordinates. This research aims to explore the application of situational leadership in managing human resources in the field of education through a literature review method. Through a comprehensive literature analysis, it was found that situational leadership is effective in improving the performance and motivation of teaching staff and educational staff. Situational leadership allows educational leaders to adopt the most appropriate style, ranging from directive to supportive, according to the level of preparedness and competence of subordinates. In addition, this research also highlights that situational leadership can help in overcoming various challenges in a dynamic educational environment, including curriculum changes, professional development needs, and improving the quality of learning. The analyzed literature shows that the application of situational leadership contributes significantly to achieving broader educational goals and improving the quality of human resources in educational institutions. These findings emphasize the importance of situational leadership training and development for educational leaders to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze students’ mathematical reasoning abilities in solving word problems on fractions in class III SD 1 Selojari. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of third grade students who were selected using purposive sampling. The results of the research show that students’ mathematical reasoning abilities in solving word problems on fractions are at varying levels. Most students show difficulty in understanding the concept of fractions, especially in connecting fractions with visual and contextual representations. Some students are able to solve word problems well, but many still face difficulties in identifying relevant information and integrating it into the problem solving process. Factors that influence students’ mathematical reasoning abilities include a less in-depth understanding of the basic concepts of fractions, limited word problem practice given in class, and low student motivation to learn. Apart from that, teaching methods that are less varied and the lack of use of teaching aids or learning media also contribute to students’ low mathematical reasoning abilities.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the numeracy abilities of class V students at SDN 1 Tanjungkarang. This research used descriptive qualitative research methods, data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation from 3 students with low, medium and high numeracy abilities. The results show that 22% of students have low ability, 67% medium, and 11% high. Students with low and medium abilities experience difficulties, especially in division operations, while students with high abilities are better able to overcome problems but still require a deep understanding of the concept. In conclusion, the majority of students indicated that they had not fully mastered numeracy questions. Students with low and moderate abilities tend to experience difficulties in understanding and solving problems, especially in division operations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the science learning outcomes of students in class VII.5 SMPN 35 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2023/2024 by applying the guided inquiry learning model which was carried out on February 28 to April 24, 2024 in class VII.5 SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2023/2024 which amounted to 34 students with 17 male students and 17 female students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The parameters measured were student learning outcomes in the form of absorption and student learning completeness consisting of individual and classical completeness. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to determine the absorption of (Cognitive) and (Psychomotor) values. The absorbency of students' scores before CAR 46.76% increased in cycle I to 47.32% and in cycle II increased again to 82.91%. Classical completeness of scores before CAR 0.00% in cycle I remained with 0.00% and increased in cycle II to 97.06%. The absorption rate of students' score before CAR was 54.11%, increased in cycle I to 75.22% and increased again to 86.35%. Classical completeness of students' scores before CAR 0.00% in cycle I increased to 85.29% and again increased to 94.12. It can be concluded that the application of the guided inquiry learning model can improve the science learning outcomes of students in class VII.5 SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2023/2024..

Abstract

In the life of a Muslim, prayer is the most important part, as spiritual communication to Allah SWT at 5 times every day. The demonstration method allows students to understand the correct steps in performing prayer. Student participation and motivation show positive changes. In the first cycle, the level of student participation increased to 70% during the demonstration process. Students show high interest and active involvement in learning activities. Students' learning motivation has also increased, as can be seen from their enthusiasm in participating in demonstrations and involvement in class discussions. In the second cycle, student participation increased further to 90%. Most students were active in practice and discussion sessions, indicating that this method was successful in creating an interactive and supportive learning environment. Apart from increasing the average score, student participation and motivation also showed positive changes. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of parental involvement in the learning process on the academic performance of elementary school students. The active and supportive participation of parents in their children's education has been proven to have a significantly positive effect on students' academic achievement. Research findings indicate that parental engagement in teaching and learning activities, both at home and at school, not only enhances students' motivation to learn but also contributes to improved performance in cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects. This involvement encompasses open communication, emotional support, and adequate provision of learning resources. Furthermore, effective collaboration between parents and teachers strengthens students' commitment to learning and achieving better academic outcomes. Other factors influencing students' academic performance include individual interest, motivation, and talent. Therefore, optimizing the role of parents in the educational process is crucial for attaining optimal academic performance at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The learning model is a fusion of dance integrated approach to free expression, discipline and multicultural. The problem is how to form and execution of an integrated model of learning the art of dance in elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine and implement an integrated model of learning in elementary school students. This study uses the approach of Research and Development (R & D), engineering data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as the validity of the data using triangulation of data analysis process includes three grooves activities as a system, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the integrated model of learning dance implemented through three stages: (1) disciplinary approaches, (2) using a multicultural approach that includes process flow that is penengenalan appreciation, understanding, appreciation and evaluation, (3) approach in which free expression using creation method which ideas and concepts, plugging into a new motion products. Advice, elementary school teachers should use the integrated arts learning model that students have the experience to appreciate and be creative.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how SDIT AR-Rahmaniyah Depok implements the concept of child-friendly school to create an environment that supports the growth and learning of all students, including those with special needs. Using an in-depth interview approach with various parties in the school, this study uncovers the main motivations behind the implementation of the concept, the specific policies implemented, as well as the challenges faced by the school in creating an inclusive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. It also explores the central role of teachers and the involvement of parents and communities in supporting inclusive education. It was identified that the success of the program is underpinned by effective communication, ongoing training and collaboration with various health and psychology professionals in supporting students' mental and emotional well-being. As such, this study offers a comprehensive insight into how schools can develop effective and sustainable inclusive practices and provides recommendations for improvement and future development to ensure all children can learn and grow in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

This research aims to analyze students' study habits. The sample for this study was chosen randomly from class XI. The population in this study was 232 students. The research used was qualitative descriptive and the sampling technique was random sampling. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires, observation and documentation.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the availability of collections in the Payakumbuh 6 Public Middle School Library; (2) to describe the information needs of students at SMP Negeri 6 Payakumbuh; (3) to describe the influence of collection availability on the information needs of students at SMP Negeri 6 Payakumbuh.This research is a type of quantitative research with descriptive methods. Data was obtained through distributing questionnaires directly at SMP Negeri 6 Payakumbuh. The population in this study was class IX students, totaling 128 students. The sampling technique used random sampling technique with 56 respondents. In this research, the data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the analysis, the results obtained are, first, the availability of collections in the Library of SMP Negeri 6 Payakumbuh has been categorized as good with an average value of 3.16, second, the information needs of students at SMP Negeri 6 Payakumbuh can be categorized as good with an average value of 3.20, third is the influence of collection availability on the information needs of students at SMP Negeri 6 Payakumbuh, namely the collection availability variable (X) influences the information needs variable (Y), the R value is 0.833 with a value of 69.4%, the remaining 30.6% is influenced by factors -other factors. So it can be said to be good.
