Abstract

This article aims to explore the main concepts in symbolic interactionism according to George Herbert Mead, and apply them in the context of UNNES students' adaptation to cultural differences in ethics and politeness ethics. This article was written using a qualitative method by describing the phenomenon in depth. The research data was obtained from interviews with several students from various regions with diverse cultures. The data collection was also carried out through secondary sources in the form of literature review. From data taken from several informants, the thing that is an obstacle for students from outside UNNES, especially outside Central Java, is adapting to or understanding the language used in everyday life. Through a better understanding of these dynamics, it is hoped that more effective strategies can be found to create an educational environment that is inclusive and supportive of students from different cultural backgrounds.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether the use of smartphones can influence student discipline at Pandes State Elementary School. This type of research is quantitative. Quantitative research is research that uses numerical counting techniques with the help of Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 27. The data collection techniques used by researchers are in the form of interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data collection techniques through validation levels carried out by experts, interviews, namely using interview guidelines or grids along with interview sheets, observations using guidelines or observation grids along with observation sheets, questionnaires or questionnaires using guidelines or questionnaire grids along with questionnaire sheets or questionnaires, and documentation. This research is a sample study in which the researcher will take a sample of 20 students consisting of lower and upper classes, namely only class III and class V at Pandes State Elementary School. The analysis technique uses a validity test, a reliability test uses Cronbach's Alpha while the hypothesis test uses a simple linear regression test. The research results obtained have an influencing impact on the use of smartphones on student discipline. 57.9% from smartphone impacts while 42.1% from other impacts not included in this study. The results of the calculations above use the latest version of the SPSS application, namely SPSS 27. This impact is in the form of a positive impact on student discipline. Because the results of the simple regression calculation, namely Ha, are declared acceptable. So it can be concluded that the use of smartphones has a positive impact on students.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology such as Chatbots, virtual assistants, machine translation, natural language processing, GPT chat, You AI, and Google Bardi have had a significant impact on Arabic language learning for postgraduate students at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The aim of this research is to identify the various AI applications used by students, as well as to evaluate the extent to which AI contributes to enriching their learning experience. The results of this research are that AI tools facilitate more interactive learning, encourage easy access to information, and increase efficiency in understanding Arabic. AI provides immediate feedback, helps translate text, and provides extensive reference resources, providing a richer and more affordable learning experience. Through its multifunctional role, AI has opened the door to a more personalized, adaptive and effective learning approach in mastering the Arabic language. This reflects the role of technology in supporting students in achieving a deeper understanding of the language, marking an important milestone in the development of Arabic language education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

Abstract

On the island of Java, the language that is the community's communication medium is Javanese. On the island of Java itself, there is a language that is a medium of communication for the Javanese people, namely Javanese. In language there is an aspect that complements it, namely Javanese script. However, not many people on the island of Java understand Javanese script, including even students who take Javanese script subjects. Judging from the interview study I conducted with one of the teaching staff at SDN 2 Grogol Kediri, teaching Javanese script during Javanese language subjects in class was considered boring and difficult to accept and the children were less interested. The right media according to learning objectives will be able to improve the learning experience so that students can improve their learning outcomes. This learning media panel is intended to improve students' abilities in Javanese script, including research and development, this research and development is also called Research and Development or RnD. Educational game tools (APE) are games that are specifically designed for educational purposes. Educational games are all forms of games designed to provide educational or learning experiences to the players, including traditional and modern games that are given educational and teaching content.

Abstract

This type of research is quantitative, namely pre-experimental design or often referred to as Quasi Experiment (pretend experiment) with the One Group pretest and posttest method. This research aims to see whether there is an influence of the jigsaw learning model on student learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students at GKPS 2 Brand Raya Private Elementary School and the sample in this study was class V students, totaling 14 girls and 14 boys. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling with two research variables, namely: the independent variable (x ) namely the jigsaw type cooperative learning model and the independent variable (y) namely student learning outcomes. The data collection technique is by tests and will take place in the 2024/2025 academic year. There is an influence of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of sub-theme 1 class V students at GKPS 2 Brand Raya Private Elementary School.

Abstract

The values of Pancasila are important to be practiced in the life of society, nation and state by every citizen of Indonesia. Until now, strong religious values have become the moral foundation of the life of the Indonesia nation. Human nature is highly respected and placed according to nature as a Created Creature of God Almighty. With its plurality, the Indonesia nation has a very heterogeneous cultural wealth. In Indonesia, the subject of Pancasila Moral Education (PMP) was once known, then changed to Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn), and is currently known as Civic Education (PKn) in schools. In Higher Education, it is known that there are Pancasila Education and Civic Education courses. The learning model of Pancasila education in schools and universities has significant differences. The development of awareness of national and state life based on Pancasila values needs to be built and continue to be internalized to all Indonesia citizens because the challenges faced today, both domestically and abroad, are getting higher. It is important to pay attention to aspects of the educational process for the younger generation in fostering awareness of the values contained in Pancasila that are embraced so that they are not forgotten.

Abstract

This article discusses the nature, instrumentation and practice of Pancasila democracy for accounting students. Pancasila Democracy is a democratic system based on the values ​​of Pancasila, namely Belief in One Almighty God, Just and Civilized Humanity, Indonesian Unity, Democracy Led by the Wisdom of Wisdom in Deliberation/Representation, and Social Justice for All Indonesian People. Accounting students as agents of change have an important role in realizing Pancasila democracy. They need to understand the essence of Pancasila democracy, the instruments used to make it happen, and how to practice it in everyday life. This article aims to: 1). Analyzing the nature of Pancasila democracy 2). Identifying Pancasila democratic instruments 3). Studying the democratic practices of Pancasila for accounting students. The research method used is literature study by collecting opinions from various students. The research results show that Pancasila democracy is a unique democratic system and is in accordance with the cultural values ​​of the Indonesian nation. Pancasila's democratic instrumentation includes the constitution, laws and state institutions. Accounting students can practice Pancasila democracy in everyday life by: 1). Participate in political and social activities, 2). Maintaining tolerance and harmony between religious communities, 3). Preserving Indonesian culture, 4). Building a just and prosperous society. Knowledge and understanding of Pancasila democracy for accounting study program students is very important to create a democratic, just and prosperous Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview of the role of Citizenship Education in social life and building national character in early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data in the research are the results of interviews from residents of Bakti Pertiwi Kindergarten, Geger Hamlet, Balongwangi Village, Tikung Lamongan District. The results show that at Bakti Pertiwi Kindergarten, citizenship education has been implemented in daily learning, this has had an impact on socialization and character formation. early childhood at Bakti Pertiwi Kindergarten.

Abstract

Civic education has a crucial role in shaping children's character as part of nation building. This study aims to describe how civic education is applied in Nusa Indah Bedingin Sugio Lamongan Kindergarten and its impact on the formation of children's character. The research method used was participatory observation and interviews with teachers and school staff. The results of the study show that civic education in kindergarten is not only limited to the formal curriculum, but also integrated in daily activities and examples given by teachers. Children are taught to appreciate moral values, understand the government system, and actively participate in the life of the nation. The implication of this study is the importance of civic education as a foundation for the formation of a responsible and caring national character for its social environment.

Abstract

Resource Based Learning learning method is a learning process that directly confronts students with one or a number of learning resources individually or in groups with all activities related to learning resources. The author used this learning method to improve mastery of purification material for class VII MTsN 1 Langkat students. The subjects of this research were 35 class VII students at MTsN 1 Langkat. This research was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of the research explain that learning outcomes for describing material have increased, in the first cycle of the first meeting, students' learning outcomes for describing material obtained an average score of 62.71 and at the second meeting, students' learning outcomes for analyzing material obtained an average of 67. In the cycle II the average learning outcomes increased, the first meeting of students' learning outcomes for analyzing material obtained an average score of 71.34 and the second meeting of students' learning outcomes for analyzing material obtained an average of 75.00. From the pretest before the action, the average value was 74.48 and the posttest results after the action obtained an average value of 87.17. If measured by N-gain, the average student ability is 0.49 in the medium category. This shows that Resource Based Learning according to MTsN 1 Langkat students is considered good, namely between 56-75% classification. Thus, the application of Resource Based Learning can improve students' ability to describe material
