Abstract

Digitalization in education is a pressing issue in Indonesia, especially in the context of the rapid technological advancements driven by the 4.0 industrial revolution. This research focuses on the impact of digitalization on learning effectiveness and student creativity at SMA Negeri 1 Semarang. The primary objective is to assess how digital tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) influence the quality of teaching and foster creativity among students. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The findings indicate that the implementation of LMS at SMA Negeri 1 Semarang has positively affected learning by offering more flexible access to learning materials and enhancing student engagement. However, challenges related to teacher training and unequal access to technology for students remain significant barriers. The research suggests that for digitalization to be fully effective, continuous professional development for educators and equal access to digital devices for students are essential. The implications of this study emphasize the need for supportive policies and infrastructures to optimize the benefits of digital education.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program is a policy initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia aimed at improving the quality of higher education through autonomous, flexible, and student-centered learning approaches. This study aims to analyze the impact of curriculum development and evaluation under the MBKM framework on student satisfaction levels in the Undergraduate Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach using questionnaires. The results of this study are expected to provide deeper insights into student satisfaction regarding the implementation of MBKM and serve as an evaluation tool to enhance educational quality in higher education institutions, particularly in terms of service quality based on five dimensions: reliability, tangibility, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy.

Abstract

This study is a descriptive qualitative literature review aimed at analyzing the application of systematic desensitization techniques within behavioral counseling as an intervention strategy to address anxiety in adolescents. Data were collected through a comprehensive review of relevant scientific literature, including academic journals, counseling psychology textbooks, and research articles. Systematic desensitization is identified as one of the most effective techniques in behavioral approaches, functioning by gradually exposing clients to anxiety-triggering stimuli while simultaneously teaching relaxation techniques. This therapeutic process enables adolescents to develop healthier and more adaptive behavioral responses when facing social situations or anxiety-inducing conditions. A thematic analysis was conducted to examine implementation strategies, contextual applications, and the technique’s effectiveness in transforming maladaptive behaviors. The findings indicate that systematic desensitization significantly reduces anxiety levels, enhances adolescents' self-confidence, and decreases avoidant behaviors that hinder social functioning. In addition to the intervention itself, therapeutic success is strongly influenced by supporting factors such as the empathetic relationship between counselor and client, social support involvement, and the client’s psychological readiness to change. With its structured and measurable procedures, this technique serves as a practical guideline in psychological counseling services, particularly for addressing adolescent anxiety in a focused and effective manner. This research is expected to provide both theoretical insights and practical guidance for counseling practitioners in developing behavior-based interventions for clients experiencing anxiety disorders.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of teachers in shaping the discipline character of students at the Nurul Hikmah Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ), Argoyuwono Village, Ampelgading District. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of teachers, students, parents, and community leaders. The results of the study show that teachers play the role of educators, role models, guides, motivators, and facilitators in shaping the character of student discipline. The strategies implemented include habituation, example, and reinforcement that are carried out consistently. Supporting factors for the formation of discipline include family support, community leaders, and village mutual cooperation culture. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited learning time, supervision intensity, as well as the family background and socioeconomic conditions of students. This research emphasizes the importance of synergy between teachers, families, and the community in shaping the character of student discipline in the non-formal Islamic education environment, especially in rural areas.

Abstract

Unemployment among high school and university graduates in Indonesia remains a structural problem. One of the main causes is the mismatch between the education system and labor market needs. This article aims to explain the application of manpower planning in educational financing as a strategy to address the gap. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach through literature study and policy review. The analysis focuses on the implementation of manpower planning, including labor demand projections, competency-based curriculum development, and reorientation of educational funding policies toward priority sectors. The findings show that manpower planning can align educational outputs with labor market needs, improve education budget efficiency, and reduce educated unemployment. In conclusion, implementing manpower planning in education financing is a strategic step that policymakers must adopt to develop a more adaptive and productive education system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy, perceptions of the teaching profession, and future expectations on the interest in becoming a teacher among 2021 Economics Education students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Semarang State University (FEB UNNES). The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of declining interest among education students in pursuing a career as a teacher, despite their academic preparation for it. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method with 204 respondents selected proportionally from three education programs. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale-based questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS 23 software. The results of the study indicate that all three independent variables have a positive and significant influence on interest in becoming a teacher. Self-efficacy has an influence with a regression coefficient of 0.271 (p = 0.002), perception of the teaching profession with 0.228 (p = 0.019), and future expectations as the most dominant variable with a regression coefficient of 0.358 (p = 0.000). Simultaneously, the three variables significantly influence interest in becoming a teacher with a significance value of 0.000 and an Adjusted R² value of 0.182, indicating that the regression model explains 18.2% of the variance in students' interest in becoming teachers. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening self-efficacy, positive perceptions of the profession, and positive future expectations in enhancing students' interest in the teaching profession.

Abstract

This study aims to develop digital learning media based on Canva and Wordwall to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and creativity in the topic of plane geometry in second-grade elementary school mathematics. The issue addressed arises from the limited integration of technology in classroom learning, despite the availability of digital infrastructure such as projectors. The research applied a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Conducted at SD Kanisius Demangan Baru, Canva was utilized to design visually engaging instructional materials, while Wordwall supported game-based interactive learning activities. Data collection involved observations, interviews, pre-tests, post-tests, and expert validation. Additionally, a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach was employed to engage both teachers and students in media refinement and feedback. Results showed that the developed media met high validity standards and significantly improved students’ understanding and creativity. These findings support the effectiveness of Canva and Wordwall as digital tools developed through R&D and the ADDIE model to enhance active and enjoyable mathematics learning in primary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the leadership competence of Catholic Religious Education teachers in shaping the personality of students at Inpres Pamakayo Elementary School. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SD Inpres Pamakayo, involving 10 research subjects consisting of PAK teachers, principals, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the formation of students' personality at Inpres Pamakayo Elementary School has so far been carried out well through various religious activities and other school activities that can develop students' characters through morning prayer activities, joint worship, reading of the Bible, liturgical celebrations and integration of faith values in learning to develop students' personalities. However, there are still attitudes of students who violate school rules, bullying behavior, disrespect for teachers and friends, lack of social care, and lack of spiritual awareness in carrying out faith values in daily life. This study concludes that although Catholic Religious Education teachers have tried to guide students with good leadership competencies, there are still students who show negative attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of audio communication media in teaching Islamic Religious Education to visually impaired students at a Special Needs School (SLB). Using a qualitative approach and a constructivist paradigm, the research focuses on the use of audio media such as the YMusic application and WhatsApp voice notes to support the learning process. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving teachers and students at SLB Negeri Kraksaan. The results show that audio media play a vital role in enhancing students' imagination, social sensitivity, and reasoning abilities. The use of stories about prophets and interactive voice communication enables visually impaired students to actively receive, interpret, and internalize religious material. This approach not only strengthens cognitive understanding but also supports emotional and social growth, making the learning experience more holistic. Additionally, audio media help build students’ self-confidence by providing an inclusive and flexible communication space where they can express their thoughts without fear. However, significant challenges exist, such as differences in students’ learning needs, limitations in managing engaging and relevant audio content, and social stigma affecting students' confidence. Teachers must be creative and adaptive in addressing these differences to ensure effective learning. A key unexpected finding is that audio media function beyond just a learning aid; they serve as a symbolic medium to build religious meaning and personal identity for visually impaired students. This media creates a safe and empowering learning environment, encouraging active participation and confidence in religious education. This study is limited by its scope, focusing on a single school with a limited number of subjects. Further research is recommended to explore audio media more broadly, develop interactive digital audio tools, and use quantitative or mixed methods to objectively measure long-term impacts.

Abstract

Exemplary is a good attitude and morals that exist in a person who can be used as a role model. The study aims to determine the implementation and impact of exemplary Pancasila and citizenship education teachers in improving the character of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Idanogawo. The research method is qualitative research, descriptive approach. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting, reducing, analyzing data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study: first, the implementation of exemplary Pancasila and citizenship education teachers in improving student character is to be a role model through real actions such as honesty, discipline, responsibility and politeness in interacting, so as to have a positive influence on the development of students' attitudes and behavior in everyday life; second, the impact of exemplary implementation of Pancasila and citizenship education teachers for students is an increase in better student attitudes and behavior in the classroom and in the school environment.
