Abstract

This community service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of community business groups through the transformation of packaging technology, marketing and business management by diversifying the basic ingredients of duck eggs, jackfruit, cassava, moringa leaves and corn into processed smoked salted egg products. Community skills in processing duck eggs and other natural products already exist but there is not yet a variety of product types. The aim of this program is to form a new business unit that develops food products from duck egg ingredients and uses online marketing strategies. Specifically, this program trains corporate participants to produce various types of processed products from duck eggs. The training starts with processing, packaging, marketing methods and ends with demonstrations, training or counseling. This activity involves members of students studying real work who are accompanied by accompanying lecturers in the management study program, the Penanae sub-district apparatus with business actors in the Penanane sub-district and the community in Penanae sub-district, Bima city. As a result of this activity, business actors have understood skills and entrepreneurship, know how to manage a business, have understood and have skills and entrepreneurship, know how to manage a structured business, have smoked salted egg processed products, and understand how to market products with packaging innovation and the use of technology. Understanding of duck egg processing among business actors is increasing and opening the minds of business actors to take advantage of existing advantages to increase income. Active business actors respond positively to the skills and knowledge conveyed through team dedication.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam layanan publik menjadi salah satu prioritas dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan aksesibilitas pelayanan kepada masyarakat, termasuk dalam sektor perumahan. Salah satu solusi inovatif adalah penerapan Smart Housing Services, yaitu sistem layanan digital yang memungkinkan masyarakat mengakses informasi, bantuan, dan fasilitas perumahan secara daring. Namun, pemahaman dan kesiapan instansi pemerintah daerah dalam mengimplementasikan layanan ini masih perlu ditingkatkan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan mengenai pemanfaatan Smart Housing Services kepada pegawai Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan satu hari yang mencakup pengenalan konsep layanan perumahan digital, simulasi penggunaan sistem, serta pembuatan media sosialisasi visual berupa infografis dan poster. Peserta juga dibekali dengan modul dan template yang dapat digunakan kembali untuk kegiatan penyebaran informasi kepada masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahapan persiapan, penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi hasil. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep Smart Housing Services sebesar 85%, berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Selain itu, peserta berhasil menghasilkan media edukatif sederhana yang dapat mendukung upaya literasi digital di bidang layanan perumahan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi kontribusi awal dalam mendukung perluasan akses hunian berkualitas berbasis teknologi, serta memperkuat peran Dinas Kominfo sebagai motor penggerak transformasi digital di daerah.

Abstract

This article discusses the basic introduction to Microsoft Word as an essential word processing software in the field of education, particularly for students at Blang Keudah Public Elementary School (SDN Blang Keudah). The aim of this introduction is to equip students from grades 4 to 6 with fundamental skills in using Microsoft Word, such as typing, formatting paragraphs, inserting images, and saving documents. In today's digital era, the ability to use software like Microsoft Word is a vital skill that supports the learning process and enhances students' digital literacy from an early age. Through an interactive and hands-on learning approach, students are expected to understand basic functions and apply them to school assignments. This article also highlights the importance of technological infrastructure and the role of teachers in guiding information technology learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to improve the quality and sustainability of website management at CV. Jiel Anugrah Adhitama, located in Cipayung, East Jakarta. The main problems faced by the partner include outdated content, non-responsive website design, and low website security. The implementation methods included needs identification, technical planning, website maintenance, evaluation, and training for company staff. The results of the program showed significant improvements in website performance and security. Additionally, the company's internal staff demonstrated improved skills in independently managing and maintaining the website. This activity has had a positive impact in supporting digital transformation within the small and medium business environment.

Abstract

The primary objective of this community service initiative is to enhance Sharia financial literacy among housewives residing in the vicinity of Yayasan Rizki Bakti Negeri Pekanbaru, thereby facilitating the empowerment of the family economy grounded in Islamic principles. The principal challenges recognized included the inadequate comprehension within the community, particularly among mothers, regarding the management of household finances in accordance with Sharia, which encompasses insufficient practices in budget recording, the absence of long-term financial planning, and a lack of awareness pertaining to the halal and haram dichotomy in the utilization of financial products. The methodological framework of this initiative comprises four distinct phases: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting, along with a sustainability strategy. The activities are executed through a participatory educational methodology, incorporating training sessions, simulations of household budget development, group discussions, and evaluative assessments conducted prior to and following the training. The outcomes of the initiative indicated a substantial enhancement in participants’ comprehension and attitudes towards Sharia-compliant financial management. This improvement is substantiated by elevated post-test scores, notable shifts in financial behaviors, and the emergence of participants’ initiatives aimed at establishing Sharia finance learning communities within their localities. This initiative has yielded tangible positive repercussions on the capacity of housewives to make informed and Islamic financial decisions. Furthermore, the program has garnered support from the foundation to ensure its sustainability. Consequently, Sharia financial literacy has been validated as a pivotal instrument in fostering family economic autonomy and reinforcing social resilience anchored in Islamic values.

Abstract

This training program was designed to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in creating visual-based instructional media using the Canva application. Held for teachers in Majenang District, Cilacap Regency, the training combined theoretical lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice to ensure comprehensive understanding and skill acquisition. At the outset, a pre-test was conducted to assess the participants’ initial knowledge and digital design skills. The results showed an average score of 58.3, indicating limited experience with design tools and low literacy in visual media creation. Following the training, a significant improvement was observed. A total of 90% of the participants successfully produced at least two educational media products, such as posters, infographics, and activity cards. The post-test results revealed an average score of 86.7, demonstrating a substantial increase in understanding and practical ability. Additionally, the satisfaction survey showed that 92% of participants were very satisfied with the content, delivery method, and technical assistance provided during the sessions. This outcome highlights the effectiveness of the training in empowering teachers to utilize Canva for innovative and engaging learning materials. The participants are now better equipped to apply these skills in their classrooms, contributing to a more visually appealing and interactive learning environment.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires teachers to be able to integrate artificial intelligence into learning. Not all teachers understand the creation of AI-based teaching materials, considering that not all teachers understand and comprehend the methods and mechanisms of using artificial intelligence to assist in learning, especially in creating digital teaching materials. Teacher competencies must be continuously upgraded so they can innovate in learning, considering that the management of learning programs will experience changes along with the development of community culture and technology. Mentoring groups of prospective teachers in creating AI-based teaching materials aims to provide mentoring to groups of prospective teachers in designing and developing AI-based teaching materials as an effort to improve professional competence in the digital era. The methods used in this activity include training, technical guidance, and direct practice with a participatory approach. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of AI in education, the ability to design AI-based digital teaching materials, and the growth of creativity and innovation in designing learning that is adaptive to the needs of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

Keterbatasan akses informasi dan teknologi menjadi salah satu kendala utama yang dihadapi pelaku UMKM dalam mengembangkan usahanya. Menyikapi hal tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan di TPA Karya Jaya II dengan fokus pada pelatihan penggunaan Digital Marketing bagi pelaku UMKM. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan praktis, dan pendampingan langsung terkait strategi pemasaran digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam memanfaatkan platform digital untuk mendukung aktivitas bisnis mereka. Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, yang tercermin dari partisipasi aktif dan minat dalam mengimplementasikan materi pelatihan ke dalam praktik usaha. Kegiatan ini berhasil menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri pelaku UMKM dalam menghadapi tantangan pasar digital. Program ini menjadi langkah awal dalam mendukung transformasi digital UMKM dan diharapkan mampu berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan omzet serta kemajuan ekonomi lokal di kawasan TPA Karya Jaya II.

Abstract

The Faculty of Islamic Studies at Nurul Jadid University has a vision to become a leading institution based on Islamic boarding schools that is adaptive to technological and scientific developments. However, in academic practice, there is still a low level of digital academic literacy among students, particularly in scientific writing and reference management. Students tend to be unfamiliar with the use of supporting technologies such as ChatGPT and the Mendeley reference manager. Yet, these technologies hold significant potential in enhancing students' academic productivity and quality. Given this situation, this community service program was designed to improve students' ability to write scientific articles efficiently and accurately through training in the use of ChatGPT and Mendeley. The implementation method includes stages of needs-based planning, theoretical and practical training, as well as continuous monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in students' understanding and skills in digital-based scientific writing, as well as high enthusiasm from the participants. However, some technical challenges and differences in students' initial digital literacy levels remain as obstacles. Therefore, follow-up actions are needed through continuous mentoring and the integration of this training into the curriculum to ensure its benefits are widely and sustainably felt within the academic environment.

Abstract

Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) merupakan fondasi krusial bagi kualitas hidup, khususnya pada anak usia dini yang rentan terhadap penyakit infeksi. Observasi awal di TK ABA 1 Palangka Raya menunjukkan adanya permasalahan PHBS, mendorong Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Dosen FISIPOL UMPR bersama mahasiswa KKN Angkatan 53 Tahun 2025 untuk melaksanakan sosialisasi PHBS. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan PHBS pada murid-murid TK ABA 1 melalui komunikasi interaktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif, dimulai dengan ice breaking untuk membangun suasana akrab. Materi inti disampaikan secara interaktif oleh dosen FISIPOL mengenai pentingnya dan cara yang benar dalam mencuci tangan serta menyikat gigi. Untuk mendukung pemahaman visual, disajikan video animasi edukatif. Puncak kegiatan adalah sesi praktik langsung mencuci tangan yang baik dan benar, dengan bimbingan personal dari tim pengabdian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari murid-murid TK ABA 1 dan keberhasilan dalam menanamkan pemahaman serta keterampilan dasar PHBS. Pendekatan komunikasi interaktif, media visual, dan praktik langsung terbukti sangat efektif dalam mentransformasikan pengetahuan teoritis menjadi kebiasaan nyata pada anak usia dini. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi signifikan dalam membentuk kebiasaan hidup bersih dan sehat, yang merupakan investasi penting bagi kesehatan masyarakat di masa depan, serta dapat menjadi model implementasi pendidikan kesehatan yang inovatif bagi lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini lainnya.
