Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's method in teaching prayer procedures to 6th grade Down syndrome children at Almahira Elementary School in Bengkulu City. This type of research is qualitative research, namely research that attempts to provide a systematic format of actual facts and characteristics of a particular population. The collection of research data uses observation, interview, and documentation methods. Furthermore, the data is analyzed using data triangulation, namely by combining several data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and data sources in the form of library materials, informants, teaching and learning activities, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a very important method in the process of teaching prayer procedures. Here, teachers must be able to understand and comprehend the conditions of their students, especially in teaching children who have physical, mental, or other disabilities. Teachers must also provide space for their students by providing feedback in the form of questions and answers on problems that are not yet known by students with the aim of developing their potential, in addition, teachers must also know and have their own methods in teaching prayer procedures so that they can overcome problems and obstacles faced when the process of teaching prayer begins to be ineffective. Teachers also need to evaluate themselves in delivering material to find out where their weaknesses lie in delivering the material.

Abstract

This research aims to see the forms of bullying behavior in SMA Nelgelri 3 Kolta Bengkulu and also how the Guidance and Counseling (BK) teacher's strategy in overcoming bullying behavior in SMA Nelgelri 3 Kolta Bengkulu. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive, the data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques, and the data analysis techniques used are reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research on bullying behavior among students at SMA Nelgelri 3 Kolta Bengkulu are, the forms of bullying behavior found are pulling the hijab, pulling the head and body, pinching, kicking, lifting the victim and then dropping it, bullying, calling friends by nicknames, calling friends by their shortcomings, giving nicknames to older people, ostracizing, gossiping about friends who do not participate in bullying and posting photos of their friends' shame on social media. Then, the strategies implemented by Counseling and Guidance (BK) teachers in overcoming bullying behavior include providing advice, carrying out supervision, giving warnings, giving punishments, calling parents, and implementing police regulations. They also serve as a forum for students to share their feelings and provide motivational support to victims of bullying.

Abstract

This research problem is based on the question of how the ethnomathematics of rice farmers in Padang Cekur village. This study aims to explore the mathematical aspects related to the rice farming community in Padang Cekur village and also to identify them as one of the many learning resources in mathematics schools. The method used in this study is descriptive research. The techniques applied are interviews and documentation. The subjects are rice farmers. The results show that: There are mathematical aspects in the rice farming community in Padang Cekur village, they measure, discover, design, and explain aspects. Mathematical aspects found in the community can be categorized as elementary school mathematics and junior high school students. This discovery can help students to represent the knowledge they have obtained from class to be applied in everyday life. The conclusion that can be drawn is that there is ethnomathematics in the rice farming community in Padang Cekur village

Abstract

Every individual has a different perception. And each perception can have a positive or negative side. By understanding a person's perception, we can gain a picture of how the individual might respond to an object or situation they face. Humans are social creatures, who need each other. Guidance and counseling is a form of assistance between clients and counselors to address the problems they experience. Guidance and counseling teachers in schools certainly have a role in helping students develop their potential and also in addressing ongoing problems. However, from ancient times to the present, our observations in the field have often encountered cases such as students being afraid of guidance and counseling teachers. Therefore, we are conducting this research to change students' perceptions of guidance and counseling teachers. This research falls into the category of qualitative research. Literature review is the method used for data collection. Through literature searches using various scientific sources, including books, theses, papers, scientific articles, and literature related to the research topic, data or literature sources are collected. Therefore, the role of the guidance and counseling teacher in changing this perception is very important. The role played by the guidance and counseling teacher to change students' negative perceptions of the guidance and counseling teacher is: Trying to get close to students, being friendly to students, explaining to students about guidance and counseling, and giving rewards or awards to students.

Abstract

This study raises the issue of how teachers' efforts are made in providing student counseling services. To answer the problem in this study, a qualitative descriptive research approach is used, namely explaining and presenting the results of research data regarding teachers' efforts in providing counseling services to fourth-grade elementary school students at Bengkulu Mahira Nature School. Data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interviews and documentation to find out what efforts are made by teachers. The results of the study show that (1) The efforts of class teachers and assistant teachers in providing guidance and counseling services in responding to student problems are through good communication between teachers and students by providing direction if it has not been resolved, the teacher communicates with parents and if it has not been resolved, it will be brought to a higher level, namely the principal. (2) Obstacles experienced by teachers in providing guidance and counseling services when communicating with students who have different character differences. Teachers' efforts in providing guidance and counseling services can be carried out during learning, communicating with parents virtually or directly.

Abstract

Education is a very important activity for every human being, whether normal or with special needs. There are 2-4 percent of children in Indonesia who suffer from ADHD/hyperactivity. Hyperactivity is a condition where an individual has problems in paying attention and concentrating on activities or something. The purpose of this study is to look at special education for hyperactive children, especially at State Elementary School 32 Pondok Kubang Bengkulu Tengah. In this study, the author used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and interviews. Research informants were taken using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study show that at SDN 32 Bengkulu Tengah there is no special teacher to handle ADHD children, even though they do not have a special teacher the teachers there still provide a good education. Teachers at SDN 32 Bengkulu City give report card grades with different KKM between hyperactive children and other children. In addition, the provision of assignments and materials is slightly different between hyperactive children and other children.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the BK service is for Children with Special Needs at Mahira Sekolah Alam Benkulu, where this study uses interview methods and direct observation on the spot, namely at Mahira. Guidance and counseling services are very important services for students, especially for Children with Special Needs (ABK). The results of the study show that BK services at Mahira do not yet exist, because at the elementary school level there are no special guidance and counseling services, but at Mahira BK services are provided to students, especially for Children with Special Needs through homeroom teachers and accompanying teachers, in one class there are 3-5 teachers, namely homeroom teachers and accompanying teachers. Through accompanying teachers, students can be directed and can solve their problems.

Abstract

Elementary School/Islamic Elementary School (SD/MI) is one of the formal education levels organized in order to prepare students as future members of society who will fill and continue the ideals of the nation's struggle and prepare them to continue their education to a higher level (secondary school). Guidance teachers as the main implementers of Guidance and Counseling activities in SD/MI in this case handled by class teachers must understand clear expectations and performance and understand the characteristics of the students they face, because the existence of Guidance and Counseling is an integral part of all educational activities in an effort to achieve national education goals. Management of guidance and counseling services is part of the follow-up of the implementation of guidance and counseling both at the elementary education level (SD/MI) and secondary education level (SMP/MTs, SMA/SMK/MA). Therefore, the management of service implementation is a barometer to measure the achievement of implementation objectives as well as evaluate the extent to which the guidance and counseling program has been implemented by the guidance teacher and can provide follow-up on the next activity steps. Therefore, the management of guidance and counseling services cannot be separated from the support and cooperation through organizations, personnel, implementers, facilities and infrastructure, and supervision.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada hakekatnya merupakan usaha sadar untuk mengembangkan kepribadian yang berlangsung seumur hidup baik disekolah maupun madrasah. Pendidikan juga bermakna proses membantu individu baik jasmani dan rohani kearah terbentuknya kepribadian utama pribadi yang berkualitas, dalam konteks Islam pendidikan bermakna bimbingan terhadap pertumbuhan rohani dan jasmani menurut ajaran Islam dengan hikmah mengarahkan, mengajarkan, melatih, mengasuh dan mengawasi beralakunya semua ajaran Islam. Dalam kaitan ini, Peran bimbingan dan konseling dalam pendidikan merupakan usaha membantu individu untuk menjadi manusia yang berkembang dalam hal pendidikan dan membentuk kepribadian yang berguna dalam kehidupannya yang memiliki berbagai wawasan, pandangan, interpretasi, pilihan, penyesuaian dan keterampilan yang tepat berkenan dengan diri sendiri dan lingkungannya. Sehingga urgensi Bimbingan dan Konseling sangat penting guna mencapai perekembangan dan keoptimalan dalam proses pendidikan. Bimbingan Konseling perlu diterapkan di MI/SD, karena pada era ini peserta didik memiliki masalah baik dalam akhlak maupun mengembangkan potensi yang dimilikinya. Di SDN 32 Kota Bengkulu sendiri masalah yang dihadapi yaitu kurang tertanamnya sifat disiplin pada peserta didik pada umumnya, seperti ribut ketika guru menjelaskan, lupa mengerjakan tugas, dan bertengkar dengan teman. SDN 32 Kota Bengkulu mengimplementasikan bimbingan konseling dengan cara menyelipkan layanannya ke dalam mata pelajaran ada, hal ini dikarenakan di SDN 32 Kota Bengkulu tidak memiliki mata pelajaran khusus BKI. Layanan yang diimplementasikan di SDN 32 Kota Bengkulu mencakup 4 jenis yaitu: 1) layanan dasar bimbingan; 2) layanan responsif; 3) layanan perencanaan individual; dan 4) layanan dukungan sistem. Dalam hal ini yang berperan menjadi konselor adalah kepala sekolah dan wali kelas.

Abstract

Minat belajar peserta didik harus selalu ditingkatkan sebagai upaya menjadikan pembelajaran menyenangkan bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil bejalar pada pelajaran IPS secara signifikan. Dari penelitian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Implementsi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning di kelas dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 25 Bengkulu Tengah. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan rata-rata persentase indikator minat belajar siswa yang meningkat pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus satu rata-rata persentase indikator minat belajar siswa berada di angka 67%. Pada siklus kedua menjadi 78% atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase indikator minat belajar siswa sudah melewati ambang batas keberhasilan tindakan yang telah guru tetapkan yaitu 75%.
