Abstract

The problem in this study is the low achievement of students' mathematics learning. This problem can be formu- lated as follows "How is the application of the Problem Solving learning model in Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes?. The aim of the research is to describe the application of the Problem Solving learning model in Im- proving Students' Mathemat- ics Learning Outcomes. The focus in this Classroom Action Research is the Application of the Problem Solving learning model and Mathematics Learning Outcomes. The research subjects were students. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and tests. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the application of the Problem Solving learning model can improve students' mathematics learning out- comes.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the perception and use of E-Journals in fulfilling academic writing needs by 8th-semester students of the English Department at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu during the COVID pandemic. Thus the variable consists of two, namely the dependent variable Academic Writing with the following indicators are Using resources to achieve academic writing, Level of staff in finding sources, Frequency of accessing sources, Scope of source search, and Determining the required information sources. While the independent variables consist of E-Journal-free indicators are Utilization, Update, Accessibility, Frequency, Speed, Convenience, and Security. This research method uses quantitative descriptive with samples taken using a random sampling technique consisting of a sample of 60 students. Then for data collection has used the instrument through questionnaires and observations. This research's results indicate that the study Level of student e-journal perceptions during the pandemic was on a scale of 3.31 (good). Furthermore, the study results showed that the level of use of e-journals as a source of information for academic writing is on a scale of 3.16 (good). In this case, the researcher suggests several things that need to be improved, including increasing the means of accessing e-journals and improving in updating and completeness of e-journal websites.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemerolehan bahasa anak usia 3-4 tahun yang difokuskan pada jenis-jenis tindak tutur kesantunan di Desa Tanjung Kemuning 2 Kabupaten Kaur dan untuk mengetahui strategi meminimalkan ancaman tindak tutur kesantunan berbahasa anak usia 3-4 tahun di desa tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian, misalnya perilaku, persepsi, motivasi, tindakan, dan lain-lain. Penelitian kualitatif bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data yang lebih lengkap, lebih mendalam, kredibel, dan bermakna, sehingga tujuan penelitian dapat tercapai. Kesimpilan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa dalam menanggapi atau merespon tindak tutur kesantunan yang disampaikan penutur, anak melakukannya dalam dua bentuk utama yaitu mengiyakan dan menolak.

Abstract

Menurut undang-undang no. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang tujuan pendidikan menyebutkan bahwa tujuan pendidikan nasional adalah mengembangkan potensi peserta didik agar memiliki kecerdasarn intelektual dan kecerdasan spiritual seperti beriman, bertakwa, berakhlak mulia, sehingga dapat menjadi warga negara yang demokratis dan bertanggung jawab. Denganfokus pengembangkan sifat, watak, danakhlak, di era digital yang semua penge- tahuan tersedia tanpa batas, pendidikan karakter harusnya memang merupakan fokus dari kegiatan pendidikan, termasuk pendidikan matematika. Karena itu, meskipun banyak tantanganyang bakaldihadapi oleh guru matemat- ika dalam pengembangannya, guru perlu memiliki inspirasi bagaimana memanfaatkan pembelajaran matematika dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan karakter. Mata pelajaran matematika sebagai mata pelajaran pokok di sekolah harus mampu menjawab tantangan bahwa pendidikan nilai dapat diajarkan melalui pembelajaran ma- tematika. Pembelajaran matematika harus lebih diberdayakan untuk mendukung pengembangan pribadi siswa

Abstract

Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (Fiel Research) untuk memperoleh data-data primer, selain itu juga deskritif metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua dan anak. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini tentang Peran Orang Tua dalam Membina Karakter Religius pada Anak di RT 01 RW 01 Kelurahan Paluwah Terap Kecamatan Ilir Talo Kabupaten Seluma adalah mengadakan kegiatan ibadah shalat dan mengaji bagi anak-anak yang dilaksanakan habis shalat ashar dari senin-sabtu, memberikan contoh yang baik kepada anak-anak,memberi pengawasan kepada anak, memberi nasehat dan arahan kepada anak, memarahi anak-anak dengan cara mendidik, mengajarkan anak-anak untuk berkata jujur dan mengajarkan anak-anak untuk dapat menghormati.

Abstract

The purposes of this research was to find out whether there is significant difference of students’ listening ability taught by using English subtitled cartoon videos and without taught at SMP 5 Bengkulu. The design of this research was an experimental research, which used quasi-experimental research. The subject of the research was the eight grade students SMP 5 Bengkulu. The researcher used cluster random sampling as a sampling technique and took two classes as the sample. Class VIII A as the experimental class which consist of 30 students and VIII B as the control class which consist of 30 students. The instrument of this research is a test. The data of research were collected by two kinds of test, pre-test and post-test. Pre-test was used to determine the students’ listening ability before getting the treatment and post-test was used to determine the students’ listening ability after getting treatment. In analyzing the data, researcher adopted independent and paired sample T-test formula by using SPSS version 16. Based on the analysis of t-test formula, the sig. value is 0.000. It could be stated that 0.000<0.05. It means that null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, while alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. The writer concluded that there is significant effect of using English subtitled cartoon videos to students’ listening ability at SMP 5 Bengkulu.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of preserving the forms of character that arise from local wisdom and efforts to preserve character in the youth of Pasar Sebelat Village, North Bengkulu Regency. This type of research is a field research, namely: a research that is carried out systematically by lifting existing data in the field, where the researcher is the key instrument, the data collection technique is done by triangulation. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants of this study consisted of village officials, traditional leaders and the community. The data analysis technique used qualitative methods, namely using the method of interactive analysis. Efforts to preserve the character values ​​of youth based on local wisdom can help adolescents form better character values ​​through the local wisdom of the Pekal Tribe. creative and religious. Efforts to preserve the values ​​of adolescent character are carried out by the family, village officials, traditional leaders, Gandai and Basilek Imau dance trainers and the community.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of using miming game combined with jumble words game on students’ vocabulary at the fourth grade of SD IT Al Qiswah Bengkulu city in the academic year 2021/2022. This research was conducted by used time series design, in which only used one class as a experiment class. This research conducted in three series, there are three meeting for pre-test, three meeting for treatment and 3 meeting for post-test. Vocabulary test was used to collect data. One sample t-test formula was used to testing hypothesis with requirement data is distribute normal. In this research used kolmogrov smirnov to test normality th data . The result of this research, the means score of post-test the experimental group class 88,18 was higher than the mean score of pre-test of the experimental group class 69,21. In other words Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that teaching by using miming game combined with jumble words game has significant effect on students’ vocabulary mastery at fourth grade of SD IT Al-Qiswah Kota Bengkulu in the academic year 2021/2022. This research has several significances for theoritical and partical contribution.

Abstract

This research focused on listening material in English Textbooks published by Private Publications/Erlangga based on the 2013 Curriculum syllabus and this study aims to determine whether the listening material in English Textbooks for Tenth Grade Students of SMAN 04 Bengkulu City meets the aspects of the curriculum syllabus. 2013. This research is very important for the academic world to make it easier for a student and teacher to choose a good textbook. The method used in this research is Content Analysis. Researchers used two analysis matrices in collecting data. The first analysis matrix will show the listening material in the textbook with the 2013 curriculum syllabus. The second analysis matrix will show the percentage score of the English textbook based on the criteria from the 2013 curriculum. As for the results of the data analysis, the first matrix shows that the listening material in the English textbook is appropriate with the 2013 curriculum syllabus and the second matrix also shows that English textbooks are in the "good" category where textbooks published by Private Publications/Erlangga have an average percentage of 92% (Good). In conclusion, English textbooks published by Private Publications/Erlangga are in the “good” category for students in carrying out the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Mimicry-Memorization (MIM-MEM) Method on EFL Young Learners’ Vocabulary Mastery at SDIT AL-AHSAN Seluma. This research uses Quasi-Experiment method with Time Series design. The researcher decided to conduct an experiment in class 5 with a total of 27 students. In the process of collecting data, the researcher conducted a pretest and posttest three times. From the results of this study, the students’ average pretest score was 77.33 and the posttest average was 90.81, which means that the posttest score was higher than the pretest score. So it can be concluded that the application of the Mimicry-Memorization (MIM-MEM) method has a significant effect on EFL Young Learners’ Vocabulary Mastery
