Abstract

Nationalism is not a new thing in this world where nationalism has existed since ancient times where a sense of brotherhood and a sense of concern for one another has occurred since ancient times. Nationalism arises from the existence of differences among humans, whether there are differences in ethnicity, religion, clan which are used as glue for human relations. A good relationship will be maintained by a high sense of brotherhood among human beings. The State of Indonesia has many differences including thousands of tribes, languages, customs and religions so that this needs to be maintained as a wealth in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Pancasila as the basis of the State and UUD 1945 as the foundation of national and state life have regulated the pattern of human life and explained the relationship between a good sense of justice in Indonesian society.

Abstract

A pharmacy is a pharmaceutical service facility where pharmacists practice pharmacy. Pharmacy practice is assisted by Pharmacy Technical Staff, consisting of Pharmacy Bachelors, Pharmacy Associate Experts, and Pharmacy Analysts. The orientation of pharmaceutical services is starting to shift from orientation to product service or product oriented to services that aim to improve patient’s quality of life or patient-oriented. One of the roles of pharmaceutical services is reviewing prescriptions, dispensing, counseling, Drug Information Services (PIO), and others to obtain the best recommendations for patients. However, a pharmacy is not only a place for pharmaceutical services but is also grouped as a line of business according to the Indonesian Business Field Standard Classification (KBLI) with code 47721, namely the retail trade of pharmaceutical goods and drugs for humans in pharmacies. One of the goals of selling these goods is to get a profit. Even though seeking profit/profit is not the professional duty of a pharmacist, it is an indicator that the pharmacy is still growing. One of the efforts made is Increasing Knowledge and Selling Skill Training for Associate Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technical Personnel at PT Kimia Farma Pharmacy Surabaya Business Unit. The existence of this activity is expected to be able to educate and have an impact on increasing profits in accordance with pharmaceutical service standards and scientific principles. The results obtained in the implementation are: (1) Increased interest and awareness of participants to play a role in carrying out pharmaceutical services according to standards (2) Increased knowledge of participants about selling skills seen from the patient's perspective (3) Participants know how to increase positive perspectives after patients come to the pharmacy.

Abstract

Webinar events are one way to educate people. The method for determining "Celery's Potential to Treat Cardiovascular Disease, Especially High Blood Pressure" has been implemented using a public Zoom meeting with participation target RT 02, rw. 02, West Semper Urban Village. The activity lasted two hours and included a pre-and post-test with five questions each. A total of 18 participants have shown significant gains in comprehension, with post-test scores averaging 89.98% compared to a pre-test average of 61.12%. Accordingly, the webinar can educate the public.

Abstract

Aromatherapy candles are one of the best-selling and popular products. Apart from being used as therapy by means of inhalers, it is also widely used as wedding souvenirs and souvenirs from certain areas by highlighting the distinctive aroma of that area. The Community Service Team chose an aromatherapy candle product as a product that has good business opportunities for mothers and young women in Mon Singet Hamlet, Kajhu Village, Aceh Besar District. Essential oils or essential oils used in making aromatherapy candles are lime and lemongrass, each of which has effectiveness for relaxation (anti-stress) and as a repellent or mosquito repellant. The results of the training show the enthusiasm of the participants in making aromatherapy candles with various attractive shapes and colors. In addition, the participants also understood the ingredients for making aromatherapy candles, their benefits and potential to be used as business opportunities.

Abstract

This community service activity is aimed at increasing face-to-face (offline) student practice and knowledge about the practice of preventing post-Covid 19 symptoms. The activity was held at the 69 State Elementary School (SDN) in Gampong Kopelma Darussalam Banda Aceh. The target of this socialization activity is students who spend most of their time playing and studying. The students of SDN 69 are mostly a group of sixth grade students. This service activity began with communication with the teachers at SDN 69 to agree on a time for socialization. Furthermore, at the meeting, brochures were also distributed containing information about the materials needed for the process of making hand sanitizers, manufacturing procedures, theoretical basis, and tricks in making hand sanitizers. Direct practice is carried out with demonstrations of the manufacturing process to finished products accompanied by direct discussions with students. This activity has been able to increase knowledge, insight, and can also improve students' attitudes in Gampong Kopelma Darussalam Banda Aceh, so that it has the opportunity to inhibit the spread and transmission of post-Covid 19 symptoms in Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Lecturers as academic staff must always be equipped with knowledge and skills in carrying out their role as educational staff so they are not left behind in their duties. Lecturer performance planning must be planned from the start so that at the end of the implementation of the Tridharma of higher education each lecturer can carry out their duties properly as a form of their responsibility as educators. Completion of lecturer performance targets contains planning activities for each lecturer planned by each lecturer for one year starting at the beginning of the year until the end of the year through the Tridharma of higher education. The implementation of lecturer activities through the Tridharma of higher education as a whole is outlined in the Lecturer Performance Targets and an evaluation will be carried out to provide an assessment of lecturers who have carried out their performance for one year.

Abstract

In carrying out Tridharma activities in higher education, all students and lecturers in tertiary institutions need to understand the principles of good and scientific research so that the results of their writing can be of high quality. However, many writers experience difficulties in conducting research where one of the questions is the accuracy of the author in seeing the errors in the writing produced to be published on social media in the context of spreading knowledge. One of the tools used to see author errors is the Mendeley Application which assists researchers in producing good and scientific writing. Then the results of scientific work must be supported by references from various reading sources that strengthen the value of our research results which are called citations. Overall, the results of scientific work produced by students and lecturers must go through various scientific stages so that they have good value which is disseminated through national and international journals.

Archive management is used as a continuous process that is well planned so that it becomes an archive management that manages records regularly. Then records that have been in the company for a long time may be destroyed because they are no longer valid, but the destruction process must meet the requirements - existing conditions and their destruction must be witnessed by the existing officials.

Abstract

In this technological era, minerals, in an educational context, refer to components that contribute to overall educational success. Mineral resources serve as the basis for various industries, such as construction, manufacturing, technology, and energy production. This community service activity aims to strengthen the science of high school students at SMP Negeri 6 Banda Aceh so that it can explain the contribution of mineral resources to a country’s Gross Domestic Product. The service team plays a role in providing knowledge of mineral resources to students so that in the future they can develop a basic understanding of earth science. This science strengthening allows students to learn about the formation, properties, and classification of minerals, which are basic concepts in geosciences. The method used is lecture method, question and answer, discussion, and demonstration. The students showed an enthusiastic response to the material presented and participated in the discussion with pleasure.

Abstract

The problem of this community service is that the location of the partner activity is in a disaster-prone area so that the partner will be vulnerable to disaster. Apart from that, partners need to get support in the learning process. Partners also do not have adequate skills in learning approaches so this needs to be provided with a solution. The aim of this community service activity program is to provide partners with solutions to disasters through the use of environmentally friendly materials from organic and inorganic materials and provide a strengthening learning approach so that partners will be able to solve their problems with the science and technology that has been provided by program executor. For this reason, the solution provided is to provide knowledge about the application of environmentally friendly technology in the construction sector in the form of a mixture of organic concrete and inorganic concrete and provide an understanding of learning approaches. In this activity, building components are produced in the form of concrete floors derived from organic and inorganic waste, with several learning approaches.
