Abstract

UI/UX Design is a field of science that is currently trending in Indonesia. The more rapid development of start-up companies, the more job opportunities in the UI/UX field are becoming more numerous and varied. The soft skill ability to design UI/UX for a website or mobile application really needs to be taught and owned by participants at high school and even college levels. Moreover, the need for these skills is in line with the rapid development of Information Technology which means that almost all needs use applications. The problem that PTS Bandar Lampung has, in this case IIB Darmajaya as a partner in this PKM, is the lack of understanding and ability regarding UI/UX design as well as student motivation regarding the UI/UX designer profession. One software that can be used in designing and developing application prototypes is Figma. Figma is a web-based vector graphics editor with additional offline features enabled by desktop applications for macOS and Windows. This PKM aims to enable partners to apply professional principles, procedures and attitudes in designing UI/UX using the Figma application to produce applications that are easy to understand. In this PKM, participants are given UI/UX training and an introduction to Figma as a design tool. The method used in this PKM activity uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The result of this PKM activity was the partners' understanding of UI/UX and Figma material which was indicated by the pre-test results, which initially averaged only 54.8%, increasing after the training was carried out to an average of 93.6%.

Abstract

The service activities carried out include technical assistance in the form of design drawings and outreach to local religious and community leaders in providing an overview of the development plans and processes of the Nurul Huda Development Plan which is located in the Kuala Teladas area, Kec. Dente Teladas, Kab. Onion bones, Lampung. This Community Service activity is part of the implementation of the Tri Darma of Higher Education which is one of the obligations as an academic. The aim of this service is to help the community in the increasingly worrying process of building the Nurul Huda Mosque, Kuala Teladas. Especially for technical document drawings, to be able to estimate space requirements, room layout, location of mosque supporting facilities in a technical drawing. This is important because the existing condition of the land is located at the mouth of the Tulang Bawang river and the water level is higher than the mosque building. This design drawing will also make it easier for the committee, the community and development implementers to align their perceptions about the development plan starting from the layout, space requirements to the shape of the mosque after it is built. The plan for preparing this design document will go through several discussions, measurements and presentations to relevant stakeholders, which in this case are the congregation, community, religious leaders, potential donors as well as the development committee, so that the development design ideas that will be created by the team can be in accordance with hope of all parties. It is hoped that this design drawing will also be able to help the committee not only in the development implementation process, but also in disseminating information, so that it can become material for making proposals to raise funds from development donors.

Abstract

The agricultural land sharecropping agreement is a legal action regulated by Law Number 2 of 1960 concerning Sharecropping Agreements, which originates from customary law in Indonesia. The sharecropping agreement practiced in Cipadang Village, Gedongtataan Subdistrict, Pesawaran Regency has been conducted orally based on trust and mutual agreement. The aim of this activity is to increase the public's understanding of the importance of creating written sharecropping agreements and to provide knowledge of the law that regulates these agreements. As a result, the target audience gains the knowledge and ability to create sharecropping agreements and apply Law Number 2 of 1960. The final evaluation shows a relatively small increase in the public's legal knowledge and understanding, from 60.20 to an average of 78.50. However, according to the extension team, this result is considered outstanding, given that the community's average education level is at the secondary school level. The activities in Cipadang Village should continue to foster legal knowledge, understanding, and public awareness, especially given that there are other questions beyond the topics being socialized. Regarding written sharecropping agreements, most are not authenticated by the village head. For the community, it is sufficient if the agreement is signed by both parties and witnessed by representatives of each side. The share is typically divided equally, 1:1, with costs shared between both parties.

Abstract

This community service project aimed to provide a simple lighthouse solution in Maja Village, Kalianda, South Lampung. The primary issue faced by local fishermen was the lack of navigation guidance during nighttime sailing due to blocked light from residential houses by the coastal seawall. The proposed solution involved the construction of two solar-powered lighthouses, designed to provide sufficient brightness and withstand coastal environmental conditions. This activity was carried out through collaboration between students, village officials, and the community, following a method that included problem identification, product design formulation, lamp pole construction, and installation. The results demonstrated that both lighthouses functioned optimally in assisting fishermen’s navigation, improving safety, and supporting night fishing activities. Additionally, the use of solar energy introduced the community to the concept of sustainable renewable energy.

Abstract

The response to a request from the Bengkulu-Lampung Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP) regarding technical justification for the condition of sun shading in the tax service building, this is an effort to be directly involved in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education tasks. The existing problems are related to damage and decreased efficiency of the sun shading system installed on the building facade. This damage is caused by material degradation, non-optimal installation, and exposure to extreme environmental conditions. The proposed rehabilitation plan aims to improve and optimize the sun shading function so that it can function optimally again. Rehabilitation measures include replacement of damaged panel materials, reinstallation with stronger fastenings, and increased protection against extreme environmental influences. This rehabilitation is expected to not only increase energy efficiency and comfort for building users, but also improve the visual image of the building as a representative public facility

Abstract

With the rapid advancement of automotive technology, there is a need to improve both educational quality and practical skills to enable students to compete in the workforce. The community service activities were carried out through hands-on training that prioritizes mastery of competencies in the automotive field, from understanding basic theories to practical work in solving problems and using work tools. Emphasis was placed on strengthening problem-solving skills in addressing motorcycle damage, a key component in the Automotive Vocational curriculum. The issues presented were case studies based on real motorcycle problems, where students were given time to resolve them (Problem Solving). The students' understanding was assessed through competency tests aligned with the standards and regulations related to motorcycle damage. The results of this service showed that many students successfully solved the problems presented, but they still faced challenges in applying the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that adhered to the provided regulations

Abstract

In the context of vocational education, technicians play a crucial role as partners to teachers in laboratory or workshop settings in schools specializing in machining technology. Despite having received training at their institutions, many technicians lack sufficient competence to optimally support learning activities. This community service initiative aims to enhance the professional competence of technicians in vocational schools through a structured approach. The activity begins with a field study to assess specific needs, followed by the development of a training model that is then reviewed through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). This training model is designed to provide technicians and laboratory teachers with comprehensive insights into best practices and effective self-development guidelines. The expected outcome is a significant improvement in the competencies of technicians and laboratory teachers in Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Preparing original and relevant research instruments is an important skill for Guidance and Counseling (BK) Study Program students, especially for producing quality research. However, many students prefer to adapt existing instruments rather than compose their own. This affects the originality of the research and the relevance of the results to actual problems in the field. For this reason, training was held in preparing research instruments for BK students at Lampung University. Training methods include theory dissemination, instrument preparation simulations, and empirical testing. The results of the training show that students are able to compose research instruments independently. Each participant succeeded in producing one original research instrument that was relevant to their research topic. This training succeeded in improving students' practical skills and made a positive contribution to the development of research in the field of BK
