Abstract

Teaching materials are one of the important aspects in the world of education, because teaching materials are one of the means to support the running of the learning process. Based on observations in class IX of PGRI Poncokusumo Junior High School in Indonesian lessons, especially in short serita material, there are several problems encountered by researchers, namely, difficulty in understanding lessons, still lack of motivation and student boredom during the learning process. This study aims to determine how the feasibility of short story text teaching materials by utilizing the iSpring Suite application, language feasibility in short story text teaching materials by utilizing the iSpring Suite application and the feasibility of short story text teaching steel designs by utilizing the iSpring Suite application in class Indonesian subjects of PGRI Poncokusumo Junior High School. The research used is research and development (R&D) method. This research method is a research method that aims to design, develop learning programs and products that can meet the criteria. The product produced in the research is in the form of short story text learning videos by utilizing the ispring suite application that is suitable for use. The feasibility of teaching materials is seen from the values given by linguist validators, material expert validators and design expert validators produced by diantaraya, getting scores for linguist validation results of 3.85, for material expert validation 2.81 and validation results from design experts 3.72 so that a total average overall validation score of 3.46 with very valid categories is obtained

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a literary psychology study of the novel entitled Deathpologize. The researcher formulated the problem of how the basic emotional aspects of the main character in the novel Deathpologize deal with the basic emotions of joy, anger, fear and sadness. The aim of this research is to explore the psychological elements contained in the novel and classify the basic emotions of the main character. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a novel data source, the novel Deathpologize by Yoana Dianika. The novel Deathpologize by Yoana Dianika was published by the publisher Bhuana Ilmu Popular in 2023 with ISBN 978-623-04-1597-5, 13 cm x 19 cm thick, 240 pages. This research data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively using David's basic emotional classification theory Krech. The results of this research show that the basic emotional classification of the main character in the novel Deathpologize by Yoana Dianika consists of four, namely: joy, anger, fear and sadness. The character Steve has a personality that is easily happy, angry, afraid and sad. The indicators of its emergence are dominated by basic emotions. These basic emotions are synonymous with pleasant feelings, irritability, fear and sadness which tend to be detrimental to oneself and the environment around them. This research contributes to the field of literary psychology studies by revealing how authors use psychological elements to shape characters and stimulate emotional responses in readers.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has carried out many transformations in various fields, including education. Education today has experienced many very rapid changes to improve the quality of education. One of the things researchers do in dealing with current education is by developing videos. The development of this video was carried out at Baithani Tosari Christian Middle School in class VIII. Video development was chosen because we saw the situation that occurs in schools where schools still use the lecture method, students are sometimes lazy to pay attention and read books. In developing this video, the researcher used the Research and Development method using the 4-D model, Define, Design, Develop and Dissemine to produce a product and test the effectiveness of the product. And at the dissemination stage, classroom action research (PTK) was carried out. Video development research is used to see improvements in student learning outcomes which emphasize cognitive aspects. And from the results of research conducted in two cycles, good changes occurred after the development of this video. Where the data obtained from the pre-action test results was 8.7% in cycle I, increasing to 34.8% and in cycle II increasing to 87%. Thus, the development of videos on digestive system material can improve student learning outcomes at Baithani Tosari Christian Middle School.

Abstract

The purpose of This research is to determine the role of technology in the process of improving English speaking skills in Ngrowo village using the drilling and repetition method. Technology has an extraordinary role in developing villages, especially the English tourist village in Ngrowo village. Learning that is really liked byThese students are learning English followed by supporting technologyso it makes it easierlearnersinteract. The drilling and repetition method is one way to quickly master English. The research uses action research. The data collection process is observation, daily notes, documentation and tests. The research data validation process is carried out during the process of action activities and results obtained and involves collaborators. The research results show that the role of technology in the process of improving English speaking skills has a positive impact on improving English speaking skills in Ngrowo village. This is because the application of drilling and repetition methods which are easy to understand is very enjoyable. The impact of Ngrowo village is that more and more students are taking part in English language development activities. Initially there were only 50 participants, growing to 150 children from various villages taking part in English language development activities.

Abstract

This study focuses on the death ceremony in Torajan culture known as Rambu Solo'. Death is an important issue throughout the history of human life, which is lived with all forms of meaning through rites in each indigenous community. Death as the limit of human existence in the world creates ambivalence in meaning. Cultural deposits present meaningful rites in human death ceremonies, including the Rambu Solo' ceremony. Martin Heidegger in his concept of Sein-Sum-Tode, Being-Towards-Death becomes an interesting foundation to see the authenticity of the Toraja people through the Rambu Solo' death ceremony. The methodology used in this writing is a qualitative method, where data is collected by reading literature related to the subject matter. The data collected will be analyzed using the concept of death according to Heidegger. The approach used is phenomenology. The author arrives at the finding that Rambu Solo' is an awareness and at the same time a form of anticipation of death. Rambu solo' becomes an authentic container of Toraja people, because the ceremony is an awareness of death, or Toraja people are aware that they are heading towards death. However, it becomes inauthentic when Toraja people are immersed in consumerism, social prestige, and forget about their mortality

Abstract

21st-century skills have become standard in graduate profiles designed by the government, including for prospective Medical Laboratory Technologists (ATLM). One of the skills that the government focuses on is developing literacy skills. Therefore, this research aims to develop RADEC-based teaching materials that can facilitate the development of literacy skills for prospective ATLM students. The research method used is Development & Validation whose steps consist of 1) literature review; 2) construction; and 3) Improvement. The development was carried out by involving 20 students from the Medical Laboratory Technology Study Program. The instruments used in the data collection process were expert validation sheets and readability test sheets. The research results show that teaching materials have very good validity (>80% suitability) in facilitating the development of scientific literacy skills. Therefore, the teaching materials developed can be implemented in lectures.

Abstract

The integration of axiology, the philosophical study of values, within the framework of Islamic educational management is a critical exploration that seeks to align educational practices with the ethical principles inherent in Islamic philosophy. This paper delves into the significance of axiology in shaping the values, ethics, and moral foundation of educational management within an Islamic context. It explores the interplay between philosophical principles and the practical aspects of managing educational institutions in accordance with Islamic teachings. The study begins by elucidating the fundamental axiological tenets in Islamic philosophy, highlighting the centrality of values such as justice, compassion, integrity, and ethical conduct. It then examines how these values can be effectively incorporated into the managerial aspects of educational institutions, including curriculum development, leadership styles, and decision-making processes.Furthermore, the paper explores the challenges and opportunities that arise when applying axiological considerations to educational management within an Islamic framework. It investigates the potential conflicts with modern educational paradigms and the necessity of reconciling traditional Islamic values with contemporary pedagogical approaches. In conclusion, this research contributes to the ongoing discourse on the philosophy of Islamic educational management by emphasizing the importance of axiology in shaping an ethical and value-driven educational system. Abstract

This study purpose to analyze the politeness strategies used by English Study Program. The student is seven semesters in study process. In completing this research, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive method and the theory of Brown and Levinson. From this study, the researcher found four kinds of politeness strategies used by the English Study Program; those are bald on record, positive politeness, negative politeness and Off-record. The factors that influence the politeness strategy used by the main are the payoffs and social variables. Furthermore, sociological variables also affect the use of politeness strategies used by students, which are social distance, relative power and rank of imposition. The suggestion to the next researcher is able to investigate more about politeness in a broader context and combine it with other social aspects such as religion, ideology, or even culture.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was designed with the aim of describing the improvement in learning outcomes of class XI-IPS students at MA. Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar by applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining type cooperative learning model. Data collection techniques in research include interview techniques, observation, documentation and tests. n this research, the researcher identified the following research variables: (1) the teacher's ability to manage the class; (2) the critical thinking skills activity variable of students using the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning method on the main subject of Employment in class XI-IPS MA. Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar; (3) variable student learning outcomes in economics subjects. The research procedure applied in this research uses a series of Action Research Classrooms consisting of 2 cycles with stages, namely the planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. The data analysis technique is carried out by data reduction and data exposure. The data reduction process was carried out by selecting students, simplifying and transforming the data that had been presented in the field note transcript. The results of the research showed that the student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained a classical learning completeness score with an average class reaching 75% and in cycle II the class average of classical learning completeness reached 87.5%, so it can be seen if learning is implemented using using the Student Facilitator and Explaining method can improve the learning outcomes of XI-IPS MA students. Abstract

Developing textbooks is an important part of the education system which aims to support and facilitate the learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) development which aims to develop teaching materials in the form of Entrepreneurship textbooks used in Collaborative Online Learning lectures. The textbooks that have been developed are then tested in learning. The development research procedure uses a 4D model. There are 4 steps in the 4D model, namely, the Define stage, the Design stage, the Development stage and the Dessiminate stage. The use of entrepreneurship teaching materials for students is appropriate, because in terms of format, material content and language it is rated as suitable for use as teaching materials for students in the learning process.
