Abstract

: Philosophy of science is a philosophical reflection that never knows a stopping point in exploring scientific areas to reach truth or reality, something that will never be finished thinking about and will never be finished explaining. Philosophy of science can be a critical dialogue partner for the development of science because it is considered to be a medium between various branches of science so they can interact with each other. This research aims to examine scientific truth in the development of science. The method used in this research is literature study. Based on the results of the literature review, it is known that scientific truth cannot be separated from science or scientific knowledge because science or scientific knowledge is the actualization of scientific truth. Theories of truth can be used to find out whether a statement or hypothesis is the truth or not, including coherence theory, correspondence theory, and pragmatic theory. Scientific truth can be used to prove pre-existing theories through the application of the scientific method. These scientific method steps can be applied in the field of education to prove existing theories and concepts. Thus, science is dynamic. What was considered right yesterday may not be considered right today, and what is considered right today is not a fixed price for declaring it wrong tomorrow. The results of the research can provide insight into the implementation of scientific truths in the development of science and its application in the field of education, especially in the learning process.

Abstract

: The purpose of this study was to determine the significant differences in learning achievement between scholarship and non-scholarship students at Madako University of Tolitoli, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Department of English Education. This study used quantitative methods The instrument in this study was documentation. The researcher used IBM SPSS program to analyze the data. The results of this study showed that the average score obtained by scholarship recipient students reached a score of 3.74, while non-scholarship recipient students obtained an average score of 3.73. Normality test with significant test results for scholarship students is 0.023 <0.05 and normality test with significant test results for non-scholarship students is 0.003 <0.05, so the data is not normally distributed. The results of the Whitney u test mean difference test were significant 0.279> 0.05 so that it was stated that the Ho hypothesis was accepted, and Ha was rejected, so the study concluded that there was no significant difference between scholarship and non-scholarship students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing the students' difficulties in achieving high intermediate score on the toefl itp of English Department at Madako University.The participants in this study are eight semester English students who have taken the TOEFL test and the researcher only took 8 student out of 28 over all. This study use an interview as the instrument in collecting the data and descriptive qualitative is the method of this research .Analyze and interpret the data through qualitative procedures by doing an interview, if the answer questioned after the analysis feel unsatisfactory, the researcher will ask question again until a certain point in time there is data that is considered credible. After all the data is collected, then data reduction is carried out after sorting and selecting the data essentials are completed, then the data is presented in the form of descriptive text and then conclusions are made. The finding of this study are the lack of consistent and comprehensive practice, along with low intrinsic motivation, serves as significant barriers, as many students only start practicing close to the exam and do so merely to fulfill administrative requirements. Additionally, limitations in basic English skills, particularly in grammar and listening, also affect their performance and causing the student difficult to accomplish a high intermediate score

Abstract

This research aimed to determine whether there is a significant difference between Problem-Based Learning and Discovery Learning models in improving students reading comprehension at the eighth-grade students of SMPN 2 Lampasio. This research is a type of quantitative research. The method used in this research is experiments with a comparative approach. The sampling technique employed in this research is “Total Sampling”, which involves including all eighth-grade students at SMPN 2 Lampasio. The data obtained from a test. The researcher used the IBM SPSS to analyze the data. The results showed that the average pre-test of the students in the Problem-Based Learning was 45.15, and the post-test results showed an average score of 78.85. Meanwhile, the students in the Discovery Learning class had an average pre-test score of 39.80 and a post-test score of 73.55. Based on the average pre-test and post-test scores, there is an improvement in the students' learning outcomes in reading descriptive texts after being given the treatment using the Problem-Based Learning and Discovery Learning models. The hypothesis test by using SPSS conducted on the post-test results of the Problem-Based Learning and Discovery Learning classes showed a significance value of 0.004<0.05 (sig.<α), so it is stated that the Ho hypothesis is rejected and Ha is accepted. It could be concluded that there is a significant difference in improving the students’ reading comprehension between using the Problem-Based Learning model and the Discovery Learning model in the eighth-grade student of SMPN 2 Lampasio.

Abstract

Cancer is one of the biggest health problems in Indonesia and cancer is a group of non-communicable diseases. Cancer makes patients experience changes in physical and psychological conditions that affect the quality of life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of happiness on quality of life in cancer patients. This research method uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach. Sampling in this study used a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The subjects of this study were cancer patients who underwent chemotherapy at the CISC Foundation in South Kalimantan with a total of 142 subjects. The scale used in this study is the scale of happiness and the scale of quality of life, with the model being the Likert scale. The results of this study are that there is a positive and significant effect between happiness and quality of life in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy with a coefficient (r) of 0.536 with a value (Sig.) of 0.000.

Abstract

In this paper, the author tries to connect the concept of human in the context of Dayak Benuaq culture by referring to Martin Heidegger's philosophical thoughts about human existence. The literature method is used by the author in this paper. This paper explains Heidegger's concept that highlights human existence in the world and relates this concept to the Dayak Benuaq view of humans as an inseparable part of nature and their environment. In addition, this paper examines the relationship between the everyday human experience in Heidegger's thought with the practices and philosophical meanings that the Dayak Benuaq people may have. In the context of time, Heidegger emphasizes the importance of the dimension of time in human understanding. This paper tries to understand how time is viewed in the life of the Benuaq Dayak, especially in relation to the spiritual aspect and the continuous cycle of life. Although Heidegger does not directly discuss Dayak Benuaq culture or society, this paper relates his philosophical or spiritual principles to the concept of man in the context of Dayak Benuaq culture. This paper aims to present a new perspective in understanding the concept of human, especially for the Dayak Benuaq people. The author also finds similarities between the concept of man in Dayak Benuaq culture and Heidegger's concept of man, especially in Attachment to Nature and the Environment, Existence in Daily Life, and the Experience of Time

Abstract

The reference sources used rely on verses of the Qur'an, alHadith, as well as the views and analyses of scientists about fithrah. Allah Swt. commands humans to always (remain on) His fithrah. Likewise, Rosulullah mentioned that no one is born (to the earth) except in a state of bringing fithrah (tawhid). This paper focuses on the 'fundamental' concept of fithroh in Islamic education, as well as the approach and follow-up of fithroh development in PAI. This research uses a type of literature research, analysing related variables or issues that are researched through notes, papers, books, news, articles and public journals. Furthermore, analysing the content, and describing in depth. The results showed that fithroh as the best gift, which is instilled into humans, from which humans have great opportunities and opportunities in developing themselves for worldly and ukhrowi interests. Approach efforts that can be done: philosophical approach, social approach, functional approach, chronological approach, - and followed up in 2 ways: 1. provide access to fithrah, 2. instil the value of Islamic education through internal approach and external approach.

Abstract

This research describes the personality structure of the main character in the novel "Children who harbor anger" by Lee Kkoch Nim. This research uses a qualitative description method, where the research data is in the form of words, phrases, sentences and utterances related to the personality structure of the main character in the story. The data collection technique is through reading, taking notes and analyzing documents using Sigmund Freud's literary psychology. The results show that the first personality structure, namely the id, is the central personality system. Both egos are psychological aspects of personality that arise from the body's need to maintain a good relationship with the real world. The third is the superego or personality morality, which represents the traditional values and social ideals that define the boundaries between good and evil. Overall, these studies show that the ego aspect of personality dominates every problem faced by the main character.

Abstract

Peningkatan pembangunan perekonomian masyarakat pedesaan dilakukan dengan menggalakkan ekonomi kreatif yang terfokus pada pembangunan ekonomi skala besar. Agrowisata Bale Tani merupakan salah satu dari ekonomi kreatif yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak ekonomi kreatif terhadap kualitas hidup masyarakat disekitar Agrowisata Bale Tani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa ucapan, tulisan, dan perilaku orang-orang yang diamati. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang melibatkan Kepala Desa Banjaragung, pemilik Agrowisata Bale Tani, pedagang dan warga sekitar Agrowisata Bale Tani. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan penelusuran data online. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan utama yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Agrowisata Bale Tani di Desa Banjaragung Kecamatan Bareng Kabupaten Jombang telah memberikan dampak positif yang besar bagi masyarakat sekitar. Dari segi ekonomi, tempat ini berhasil membuka lapangan kerja baru, meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Keberadaan Agrowisata Bale Tani juga mempererat hubungan antarwarga melalui kolaborasi dan gotong royong dalam berbagai kegiatan sekaligus meningkatkan keterampilan dibidang pariwisata dan pertanian modern. Tidak hanya itu, aktivitas di Agrowisata Bale Tani yang melibatkan banyak gerak fisik membuat masyarakat menjadi lebih sehat, sementara keterlibatan dalam kegiatan agrowisata meningkatkan rasa percaya diri serta kualitas hidup mereka. Untuk menjaga keberlangsungan usaha pariwisata tersebut tentunya pengelola juga perlu untuk menerapkan strategi-strategi yang tepat sehingga keberlangsungan Agrowisata Bale Tani dapat terus berjalan maka pengelola wisata berfokus pada edukasi lingkungan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan penerapan teknologi ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dan kemampuan membaca siswamembaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 26 Tolitoli dengan menggunakan kartu huruf sebagai media pembelajaran. Sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan oleh tim peneliti untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran interaktif pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 26 Tolitoli. Penelitian ini mengaitkan pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan hasil belajar membaca siswa yang lebih baik. Hasil belajar membaca siswa yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024, yaitu bulan Oktober. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 26 Tolitoli yang berjumlah 19 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus 1 siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 69,37. Kemudian pada siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata dengan nilai rata-rata 81,42. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran interaktif pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan media kartu huruf dapat meningkatkan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 26 Tolitoli.
