Abstract

This study aims to examine the role and optimization of Islamic counseling in social, religious, and health institutions within the context of Islamic education in society. Using a literature review approach, this research identifies various forms of counseling services implemented in these institutions, such as individual counseling, group counseling, and community empowerment programs in social institutions, as well as religious value-based counseling in religious and health institutions. The findings indicate that Islamic counseling plays a significant role in strengthening religious identity, improving quality of life, reducing social stigma, and fostering solidarity and cooperation among individuals in society. The study also offers recommendations for the development of more integrated counseling services, including enhancing counselor training and developing programs based on Islamic values that support the development of character and spirituality. Overall, this research contributes significantly to the understanding of the importance of integrating Islamic counseling into the Islamic education system outside of schools and its relevance in creating a more harmonious and morally upright society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Asbabun Nuzul Surah Al-Zalzalah verses 7-8 with the concept of “eye of success” in a religious perspective. Surah Al-Zalzalah describes a major event on the Day of Judgment involving a devastating earthquake, and in verses 7-8 it is mentioned that every human deed will be shown and rewarded according to its deeds. Understanding the asbabun nuzul context of these verses provides important insights into the role of the individual in preparing for the afterlife, as well as demonstrating the importance of good deeds and sincerity in achieving spiritual success. The method used in the research is a qualitative method where we review this study from various sources derived from the library (library research) with data collection techniques with research. The findings in this study refer to the way humans view higher achievements, namely good deeds that are accepted by Allah in the afterlife. Asbabun nuzul Surah Al-Zalzalah verses 7-8 emphasizes the accountability of human actions, where every deed, good or bad, will be accounted for. The study concludes that success in a religious perspective lies not only in worldly achievements, but in spiritual success that is based on the quality of deeds done in the world. A deeper understanding of this verse helps Muslims to focus more on actions that can lead to ultimate success in the hereafter.

Abstract

A marriage agreement is an agreement made before or during the marriage. Both parties can make a valid written agreement by mutual consent, which is then legalised by a marriage registrar or notary. The contents of the agreement also apply to third parties as long as they are related to them. Marriage agreements containing monogamy clauses or not to be polygamous that the author met several couples made such agreements. From the rise of marriage agreements with taklik polygamy, it raises a big question about the law and permissibility of agreements whose clauses are monogamous, both analysed in terms of Islamic law and positive law; for example, there are 5 marriage agreements with taklik polygamy. The focus of the research is on the marriage agreement in terms of Islamic law and positive law, as well as its relevance to the legal context in Indonesia. The research method uses a normative juridical approach, with materials and data found, collected, and analysed to obtain conclusions to analyse. Data collection techniques using literature (library research). Data presentation using inductive reasoning. Data analysis using comparative. The findings of this research are: Marriage agreements with polygamy taklik can be done with the provision of conditions, namely based on mutual agreement, not violating the limits of law and decency. Based on the legal context in Indonesia in a marriage that adheres to the principle of monogamy, which is basically a marriage for only one wife, it is relevant to the existence of a marriage agreement with an effort to reduce irresponsible polygamy or illegal polygamy and allows the wife to ask for fasakh nikah if polygamy is without a justified procedure. In addition, the marriage agreement can also be used as a preventive law for those who enter into the marriage agreement. In Islamic law, there is still a debate regarding the marriage agreement with the taklik polygamy; it is not permissible and not required to be fulfilled because these conditions conflict with the rights and obligations arising from the marriage contract, and it is permissible because it contains benefits and does not conflict with Shara; in essence, the law of permissibility of polygamy is for the benefit of both husband and wife.

Abstract

This article explores the importance of emotional intelligence (EQ) and spiritual intelligence (SQ) as complements to intellectual intelligence (IQ) in addressing the challenges of the global competition era. Using a qualitative method based on literature review, this article highlights that IQ focuses on analytical and logical abilities, while EQ plays a role in understanding and managing emotions, and SQ supports by providing life meaning and moral foundations. These three intelligences complement each other to form a well-rounded individual. The findings indicate that the integration of IQ, EQ, and SQ not only enhances academic success but also builds the character of ethical and responsible leaders. This article recommends a holistic approach to education and self-development to achieve success by balancing these three intelligences.

This study explores the optimization of the roles of Islamic Education (PAI) and character education teachers in fostering students' religious and moral character in the digital era. It highlights the challenges posed by digital technology, which can influence students' values and behaviors. The research emphasizes the necessity for educators to adapt their teaching methods and integrate digital literacy into their curricula. By employing innovative strategies, teachers can effectively instill strong moral values and religious principles, preparing students to navigate the complexities of modern society. This paper concludes that a collaborative effort among educators, parents, and the community is essential for nurturing well-rounded, ethically grounded individuals.

Abstract

In an effort to integrate spiritual values into the modern education system, this study explores the application of the values contained in Surah Al-Fatihah in educational evaluation management. In an increasingly complex educational context, the integration of spirituality and morality is crucial to forming a well-rounded student character. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, analysing various sources related to Surat Al-Fatihah and educational evaluation practices. The research findings show that the values in Surat Al-Fatihah, such as obedience to Allah, gratitude, and tawakkal, can be integrated into various evaluation techniques, including formative assessment and attitude assessment. The results of the analysis show that the application of a holistic approach in evaluation which includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects can improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. In addition, constructive and value-based feedback can motivate students to focus more on the learning process rather than just the end result. Based on the research results, it is recommended that educational institutions develop assessment rubrics that include spiritual and moral aspects and involve close collaboration between teachers, students, and parents. Thus, educational evaluation management based on the values in Surah Al-Fatihah will not only improve academic quality but also shape good student character, in accordance with the goals of education that is more comprehensive and orientated towards character development. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of a more integrative and character-orientated education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of developing research programs in Islamic studies to produce fundamental theories and principles that can serve as a “protective belt” for Islamic science. The author criticizes the normative and less innovative research approach, and highlights the change of education system in Indonesia from KTSP to K13 which requires a dynamic and flexible curriculum. By proposing the application of Imre Lakatos' research methodology, this paper aims to dynamize science and integrate existing theories. Lakatos' methodology, which consists of a central core, a protective circle, and a series of theories, offers a more open and critical approach to religious thought, encouraging research based on rational argumentation. This research uses a qualitative approach and content analysis to explore Lakatos' ideas and their relevance in the context of religious moderation and Islamic education. In conclusion, it is important to continue building research programs in Islamic studies in order to produce knowledge that is relevant and useful for the ummah.

Abstract

This article examines the benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) in Islamic religious learning and education. The use of AI intelligence in education has become a subject of interest to academics and educational practitioners. The advancement of Artificial Intelligence technology has a very significant impact on education, including Islamic religious education. Technologies such as chatgpt, chatbots and natural language processing (NLP), this study identifies the benefits of AI in Islamic religious learning and education, educational data analysis, and improving effective and adaptive learning of Islamic religious education. This research method is a literature study, data is taken and analyzed from books and journals. The results show that AI can enrich the learning process, its application is faced with challenges and impacts on learning and the development of religious education that depends on AI. AI can provide significant and maximum benefits in the process of improving Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of digital technology on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at Eka Sakti Junior High School and Al Madina Junior High School in Semarang City. The background of this research stems from the rapid development of technology that has changed the way teaching and learning takes place, making it important to explore how technology can be utilised in the context of religious education. The urgency of this research lies in the need to understand the benefits and challenges faced in the integration of digital technology in religious education learning, especially among students who are increasingly familiar with digital devices. The research method used is library research supported by data analysis from case studies in both schools. Data collection was conducted through a review of relevant literature, including journals, books, and educational documents, to build a solid theoretical framework. Data analysis was conducted by identifying patterns and findings that emerged from the use of technology in PAI learning. The results show that digital technology has improved students' access to learning resources, made learning more interactive, and developed their digital skills. However, challenges such as students' tendency to use digital devices for irrelevant things were also identified. The research discussion emphasises the importance of supervision from teachers and parents in the use of technology, as well as the need for appropriate strategies to maximise the benefits of technology in religious learning. Thus, this study provides valuable insights for educators and stakeholders in designing relevant and contextualised educational policies, as well as encouraging the wise use of technology to improve the quality of religious education learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Today's Indonesian society is either prepared or not to go through a phase where it undergoes remarkable changes annually, both in the field of social education and in the culture that already exists. These changes are undoubtedly necessary for the advancement of the present society. It has a significant impact on people's life, particularly in the age of digitalization. Numerous learning media innovations, including electronic communication media like mobile phones, television, radio, and other electronic or print media, have been made possible by the rapid development of the fourth industrial revolution. These innovations have been able to cross political, social, and geographic boundaries. We are approaching the fifth phase of industrial development, known as Society 5.0, which will facilitate human interaction and the shift to the digital age. Therefore, it is essential to embrace digital technology in all facets of life, but particularly in the field of education, as this will demonstrate a nation's degree of competitiveness.
