Abstract

This research aims to identify and describe the impact of implementing the advantages, benefits, and negative perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum in schools and madrasas. This research is library research with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained from three sources “Google Scholar,” “ScienceDirect,” and “DOAJ.” The findings in this discussion are: First, an independent curriculum has many benefits for teachers, schools and madrasas. This includes increasing teacher creativity in teaching, learning flexibility that can be adapted to individual needs, and school and madrasah autonomy to design curricula that suit student potential and local conditions. Second, the benefits of the Independent Curriculum are increasing student creativity and independence, giving teachers freedom in choosing teaching approaches, giving schools freedom in designing the curriculum, and integrating contextual learning relevant to the social environment and students’ real lives. Third, the negative impacts of an independent curriculum include unclear understanding of the material, uneven availability of resources, unequal distribution of time there is pressure to choose a field of study, and its influence on the social environment. To overcome this impact, more equal teacher training is needed, more intensive guidance for students in choosing subjects, provision of equal educational resources across schools and madrasas, and balancing the allocation of study time to prevent disparities in academic achievement.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of colonialism on the Islamic education system in colonized regions such as Indonesia, India, and North Africa, using a literature review method. The research finds that colonialism brought significant changes to the Islamic education system, both structurally and curricular. In Indonesia, the influence of Dutch colonialism is evident in the introduction of Western-based formal education, which shifted the position of traditional madrasas, although these institutions managed to survive by adopting modern curricula. In India, British colonialism introduced Western education, influencing the madrasa system with the adoption of some modern elements in its teaching. Meanwhile, European colonialism in North Africa created a dynamic interplay between Islamic traditions and modernity, leading to changes that reflect a compromise between local values and foreign influences. In conclusion, colonialism not only transformed the landscape of Islamic education in these regions but also drove adaptation and innovation within Islamic educational institutions to maintain their relevance amidst changing times.

Abstract

In the recent years, there has been a significant growth in the need to learn Arabic for specialised purposes, such as fields of diplomacy, business, education, as well as tourism. The learning curriculum Arabic for special purposes serves as a bridge between the language and the the context in which the language is used. In this context, educational institutions educational institutions have a key role in shaping a curriculum that meets the the needs of society and the world of work. The purpose of this of this research is to examine in more depth the design of the Arabic Arabic language curriculum design for these special purposes. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative.  This approach This approach was chosen to explore, analyse, and synthesise various literatures related to the design of an Arabic curriculum design that is relevant to certain special needs. Data obtained from various written sources, such as books, scientific journals, articles, research reports, education policy documents, and other scholarly works that discussing the topics of curriculum design, Arabic language learning, and education for special purposes (ESP/English for (ESP/English for Specific Purposes as an analogy). In this research, it was found that an appropriate curriculum development design can have a significant impact in the context of practical language use in the context of practical language use. The design of learning methods and models, as well as learning methods and models, as well as learning media should be designed according to the needs of each student. Besides In addition, a more communicative approach to Arabic language learning has also gives positive results.

Abstract

Transformation in the banking sector has given rise to digital banking by implementing the principles of efficiency, accessibility, and accountability, changing the paradigm of national banking. Digital banking offers a financial product that is based on savings but bears interest like a deposit, with the advantages offered including the Now Savings product from Bank Neo Commerce. The product is offered to customers using a digital contract because the banking ecosystem is digitally based, and this product uses a contract that is different from the savings contract in traditional banking, so it is necessary to study more deeply regarding the contract for the financial product. This study will focus on the legal aspects of the contract that examines the contract for digital bank financial products using the contract law applied in Indonesia. Normative legal research is used in this study using a statutory regulatory approach. Primary data comes from the clauses of the digital contract that are offered and are open access, which will later be analysed using classical contract theory. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, it was found that the Now Saving Bank Neo Commerce digital bank product is a digital financial innovation that protects the value of customer funds from inflation, in addition to providing a contract innovation that is different from traditional bank financial products, but the contract used is not the same as a deposit contract. This study recommends that stakeholders and digital bank organisers must have a reliable electronic system to protect customer funds in financial products that have been offered and the contracts used have met the elements mandated by laws and regulations.

Abstract

Incidents of sexual harassment, including catcalling, are a form of violence against women which is a special problem that often occurs around us. Moreover, what happened on campus was that the victims were of course female students on campus. This research aims to analyze the relevance of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence in efforts to protect the rights of women who are victims of sexual harassment, especially catcalling, using a feminist legal theory perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach with the main data source being interviews with Unhasy campus students who experienced catcalling. Apart from that, data was also obtained through observation and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and interpretation methods. Referring to the research results, show that Law Number 12 of 2022 has relevance in efforts to protect the rights of women who are victims of sexual harassment, including catcalling. However, the feminist legal theory perspective criticizes the existence of patriarchal bias which can hinder justice and gender equality in legal protection. This highlights the importance of empowering women and eliminating discrimination in efforts to achieve justice and protect women's rights.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Islamic education management system in Indonesia through a systematic literature analysis, focusing on identifying the factors that influence the effectiveness of educational policies. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method is used to identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant studies over the past 10 years. Based on the analysis of 30 articles that met the inclusion criteria, this research found that the management of Islamic education needs to adapt to the challenges of the times, including globalization and advancements in information technology. Key factors influencing the effectiveness of the management system include education quality management, financial resource management, educator development, and the implementation of information technology in educational management. The findings of this study indicate that the application of quality management principles, effective financial management, and the professional development of educators can improve the quality of Islamic education. This study also highlights the importance of collaboration between education managers, educators, and the community to achieve the desired educational goals. Based on these findings, this article provides recommendations for improving Islamic education policies in Indonesia to be more adaptive and responsive to community needs and global challenges.

Abstract

Emosi merupakan bagian integral dari pengalaman manusia yang mempengaruhi pola pikir, perilaku, dan interaksi sosial. Dalam konteks pendidikan, pengelolaan emosi yang baik dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran dan pembentukan karakter yang positif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi emosi dalam perspektif pendidikan menurut Al-Qur'an dan Hadis sebagai panduan kehidupan. Al-Qur'an mengajarkan pentingnya pengelolaan emosi melalui konsep kesabaran (sabr), pengendalian amarah (ghadhab), dan rasa syukur (shukr) sebagai bagian dari akhlak mulia. Hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW juga memberikan teladan dalam mengelola emosi, seperti menahan amarah, menjaga ketenangan dalam menghadapi ujian hidup, dan membangun empati terhadap orang lain. Melalui kajian ini, ditemukan bahwa pendidikan emosional dalam Islam tidak hanya mengajarkan kontrol terhadap emosi negatif, tetapi juga mendorong perkembangan emosi positif seperti kasih sayang, rasa syukur, dan rasa hormat. Pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai ini dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam membentuk individu yang memiliki karakter kuat dan keseimbangan emosional. Serta dalam penulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dan merupakan jenis penelitian library research yaitu penelitian yang memanfaatkan sumber perpustakaan untuk memperoleh data penelitiannya dengan cara membaca dan mencatat serta mengolah bahan penelitiannya. Abstract

The supervision system is one of the important management components to pay attention to. In the context of school management, supervision of students and teachers in class is often only carried out at certain times, such as when there is a supervisor or when accreditation will be carried out. Lack of supervision of the learning process between students and teachers in class, and also transparency in the learning process in class to parents and the principal are important aspects of management, namely controlling. Based on cases that occurred in the field, there were problems with student attendance and supervision of the learning process in one of the integrated Islamic schools in Bekasi, there were several cases that students went to school but did not arrive at school. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is a technology that is often used in the field of security to monitor a room or a certain corner of a place that can be monitored in real time or in the form of recordings that can be accessed to minimize unwanted things. This study uses the literature review method and prototype model by collecting data from the latest literature, such as journals, device trials and CCTV recording analysis. The result of the implementation of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) based on the application is expected to increase student attendance, because student attendance is integrated between teachers and parents and with the implementation of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) based on the application, it can monitor the learning process in real time from a distance for the principal and parents without disrupting the learning process.

Abstract

This study examines the chicken throwing tradition carried out by the Gunung Pegat community in wedding ceremonies, using the perspective of Imam al-Ghazali's maslahah mursalah. This tradition is considered a symbol of respect for ancestral customs and prayers for the blessings of the lives of the bride and groom. This study aims to analyse the social and spiritual benefits of this tradition, which does not have an explicit basis in the Qur'an or Hadith but is acceptable because it brings benefits in accordance with the objectives of Islamic law, namely maqasid al-shariah. Based on interviews with the customary implementer M. Syifaul Anam and the traditional figure M. Khusnan, it was found that the chicken throwing tradition has a significant social dimension. In addition to being a form of alms to the surrounding community, this tradition also functions to strengthen social solidarity and maintain household harmony. In the perspective of maslahah mursalah, this tradition can be accepted as part of the local culture that is in accordance with the principles of maqasid al-shariah, especially in maintaining social welfare, peace of mind, and relationships between individuals. This study concludes that the chicken throwing tradition, although it does not have a direct basis in Islamic law, remains relevant in the local cultural context and is acceptable within the Islamic framework as long as it does not conflict with the basic teachings of the religion.

Abstract

The largest online transportation platforms in Indonesia, Gojek and Grab, compete fiercely in providing application-based transportation services. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the impact of Gojek and Grab competition from the perspective of Islamic business ethics. The results show that the increasing accessibility of cheaper and easier transportation and technological advances that improve the quality of life are positive impacts of competition. However, there are also negative impacts of competition, namely declining driver income and job instability. In the context of Islamic business ethics, competition should be conducted fairly by avoiding monopoly and exploration, and applying the principles of justice, balance and social responsibility. This study concludes that Gojek and Grab competition not only has negative and positive impacts, but also provides innovation and accessibility for users. Both companies can adjust their business practices in accordance with Islamic ethical principles. Stricter policies are needed to maintain the balance between business profits and driver welfare in the digital economy is a policy recommendation that can be done.
