Indonesian Journal of Applied Science and Technology (IJAST) adalah wadah publikasi ilmiah yang berfokus pada penyebarluasan hasil penelitian dan pemikiran inovatif di bidang sains terapan, teknologi, dan informasi. Jurnal ini ditujukan bagi mahasiswa, guru, dosen, praktisi, maupun peneliti untuk mendiseminasikan temuan mereka kepada masyarakat ilmiah secara luas. Focus and Scope IJAST menerima naskah dalam bentuk artikel hasil penelitian (original research) maupun artikel tinjauan pustaka (review article) yang mencakup, namun tidak terbatas pada, bidang-bidang berikut: Pendidikan & Sains Dasar: Pendidikan IPA, Matematika, dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Teknologi & Rekayasa: Teknik (Sipil, Elektro, Mesin, dll.) dan Teknologi Pangan. Teknologi Informasi: Ilmu Komputer, Sistem Informasi, dan Teknologi Informasi Terapan. Ilmu Hayati & Lingkungan: Pertanian, Peternakan, Perikanan, dan Kelautan. Kesehatan: Keperawatan, Kebidanan, Kesehatan Masyarakat, dan bidang kesehatan terkait lainnya. Peer Review Process Setiap artikel yang dikirimkan ke IJAST akan melalui proses Peer Review. Tim reviewer akan mengevaluasi naskah berdasarkan kualitas metodologi, orisinalitas temuan, dan kontribusinya terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Penulis diwajibkan melakukan registrasi dan mengirimkan artikel secara mandiri melalui sistem OJS jurnal. Open Access Policy IJAST berkomitmen pada prinsip bahwa akses terbuka terhadap hasil penelitian akan mendukung pertukaran pengetahuan global yang lebih besar. Seluruh artikel yang diterima akan dipublikasikan secara Open Access dan tersedia secara bebas untuk dibaca atau diunduh oleh publik di bawah lisensi: Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Publication Frequency IJAST mulai terbit sejak tahun 2020. Sejak tahun 2022, jurnal ini berkomitmen untuk terbit dua kali dalam setahun (dua edisi per volume) pada periode: Edisi Januari-Juni dan Edisi Juli-Desember.

Abstract

Some of the competencies needed by participants in this 21st century era such as critical thinking, scientific culture, and making the right decisions to solve students' problems in everyday life. The competence of students in Indonesia is still low and needs to be improved. Therefore, alternative solutions that can be used are interactive e-books as contextual teaching materials. This literature review and content analysis aims to provide an interactive e-book description of local wisdom on how to motivate and help students to facilitate students in learning science so that they are able to achieve the expected competencies. Data collected by observing text books and articles of previous research. Search articles with the help of Google software, research gate, and so on. The results obtained that the e-book integrated with local wisdom of karawitan has a positive impact. An interactive e-book of local musical wisdom that is interesting and according to its content provides students with a meaningful learning experience because students can learn on their own. So it can be said that interactive e-books can be integrated with local wisdom of karawitan as contextual teaching materials for junior high school science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megevaluasi pemanfaatan air perasan lemon sebagai hepatoprotektif terhadap penurunan kadar albumin yang disebabkan oleh etanol pada tuak. Tuak mengandung alkohol jenis etanol yang dihasilkan dari proses fermentasi dan dapat menyebabkan peningkatan radikal bebas sehingga memicu degradasi protein akibat Reaktif Oksogen Spesies (ROS). Protein albumin merupakan protein yang di sintesis di hati, kerusakan sel akibat etanol dapat menyebabkan penurunan kadar albumin. Kandungan vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, flavonoid, dan mineral pada perasan lemon dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai antioksidan eksogen untuk meredam radikal bebas yang diakibatkan oleh etanol pada tuak. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen laboratorium dengan desain penelitian post test only control group design dengan mengunakan 24 ekor tikus putih jantan (Strain Wistar norvegicus) dengan berat badan 180-230 gram yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok, G1, G2, G3, dan G4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian air perasan lemon dapat mempertahankan kadar albumin pada tikus putih yang diinduksi tuak diaman kadar G2 yang merupakan kontrol positif lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan G1, G2, dan G3.

Abstract

Realizing an environmentally sound school is a school commitment that systematically develops programs to internalize environmental values ??into all school activities. Lack of awareness and responsibility towards the environment which results in the occurrence and damage to the environment. The government is trying to create an environmentally sound education. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of environmentally friendly schools in schools. The method used is an observational survey method, the research subjects used are school principals, adiwiyata team, vice principals, teachers, and students. The data collection technique used non-test techniques using interview instruments, observation and documentation, then data analysis by data triangulation. Over all the school has supported environmentally friendly school activities, and has been used in the learning process, as well as the participation of school residents, and the interest from school residents will motivate themselves so that others will do the same so that the school can achieve the goals of an environmentally friendly school. sustainable.

Abstract

This research aims to determine learners' ability to solve ICT literacy problems by defining indicators, accessing, managing, combining, evaluating, creating, and communicating. The test was conducted on 24 learners spread across various classes in SMP Negeri 2 Fakfak. The instruments used in the study were 20 multiple-choice questions. This study is a descriptive study using Rasch models. The results showed that the average value of learners in solving defining problems is 49, accessing 27, managing, 18, combining 35, evaluating 20, creating 11, and communicating 15 with an overall average of 21.71 ± 14.62. Rach model shows learners 01L, 02L, and 18P have high intelligence while learners with the lowest ability are with code 07P, 12P, 09P, 08P, 05P, 13P, 14P, 16P, 19P, 21P, and 24P. The results showed that ICT literacy capabilities are still low, especially indicators of creation. This research can be used as a reference for teachers to continue to improve ICT literacy capabilities by doing learning innovation by optimizing the use of technology, communication tools, digital or the internet.

Abstract

Learning science has observations to make. This can be done using the help of technology, one of which is Go-Lab. The use of this technology in addition to helping educators to convey the material to be conveyed, technology can also be used for everything that is separated by distance. This article aims to provide information about using the Go-Lab platform for online science learning. The study conducted is a literature study of several articles related to the use of Go-Lab. Go-Lab is a platform that contains applications, virtual laboratories, and Inquiry Learning Spaces (ILS) that can be developed and used freely by teachers. Science learning using Go-Lab is provided through ILS which is designed to combine materials, applications, and virtual laboratories to support inquiry learning. The use of Go-Lab in science learning is said to be effective because of the facilities for inquiry activities, especially during the distance learning period. Further research on the use of the Go-Lab platform in science learning needs to be carried out considering the role of information technology for teaching and learning activities is a challenge during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

RPP is an important component in supporting the successful achievement of learning objectives. The researcher intends to conduct development research to produce a lesson plan based on a feasible cognitive conflict approach. So that it can be used as an instrument of learning tools in supporting the teaching and learning process of students. This research is a research and development (R&D) with a 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. In this study, only the development stage was carried out, namely expert validation and practitioner validation of the developed instrument. Based on the expert validator's assessment, the RPP has average feasibility of all aspects of 3.47 with a very good category. While the assessment of the practitioner validator obtained the feasibility of the average value of all aspects of 3.67 with a very good category. For the Percentage of Agreement (PA), the results obtained are 90.78% from expert validators and 90.16 from practitioner validators. So it can be concluded if the lesson plans developed are reliable and appropriate to be used to support student skills based on the cognitive conflict approach in the 21st century

Abstract

Problems in learning science become important notes for teachers because there are still many students who are constrained in understanding the material. Constructive science material is a challenge for teachers to present good learning. One solution that can be used to build or understand the concept of science is with the help of technology. The technology that is starting to develop in the world of education today is augmented reality (AR). The purpose of the literature review is to review the use and utilization of AR technology on the success of learning in the classroom. The literature review method is based on the analytical method by processing the information contained in the literature. The data collected is in the form of qualitative data which is then described in the form of an in-depth explanation. The results of the analysis show that the form of AR development in the world of education uses more marker-based tracking models. The test results of several studies show that the use of AR technology has a positive effect on learning success. However, the effect of AR has so far only been tested on students' learning attitudes and low-level abilities. There is still little testing on the high-level abilities of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penyebab kesalahan peserta didik dalam memahami materi usaha dan energi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Yogyakarta dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 49 peserta didik kelas X. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode campuran yaitu survei dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal berbentuk esai sebanyak sepuluh dan daftar pertanyaan wawancara terstruktur untuk menambah bahasan atau hasil temuan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan beberapa penyebab kesalahan pemahaman yaitu: (1) konsep awal peserta didik mengenai usaha dan energi ketika di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) masih tertanam kuat dan terbawa hingga SMA; (2) guru dan peserta didik jarang mengulang dan mengaitkan materi usaha dan energi dengan materi sebelumnya yaitu vektor dan hukum Newton; (3) kemampuan matematika peserta didik masih rendah terutama bagian trigonometri; (4) guru dan peserta didik masih kurang dalam latihan interpretasi grafik materi usaha dan energi; (5) peserta didik tidak terbiasa menjawab soal secara sistematis dengan urutan interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan simpulan; (6) peserta didik tidak terbiasa menggambarkan sketsa sebelum menjawab soal.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan penggunaan peralatan elektronik menyebabkan makhluk hidup terkena radiasi medan magnet Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) baik secara sadar atau tidak. Medan magnet ELF adalah radiasi non-pengion dan non-termal. Efek paparan medan ELF mulai dikaji dampaknya terhadap manusia, hewan, dan tumbuhan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian yang menilai efek paparan medan magnet ELF muncul, salah satunya sebagai teknologi pengawetan makanan dan pemrosesan produk fermentasi. Produk pengolahan susu yang sedang diminati oleh masyarakat adalah keju. Bagi orang yang memiliki alergen susu sapi, tidak bisa menikmati keju. Peneliti menginovasi produk keju dari kacang tanah. Pada proses pembuatan keju, sangat dipengaruhi oleh nilai pH dan kadar air agar mendapatkan keju yang terbaik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh besaran paparan medan magnet ELF dalam proses pembuatan cream cheese kacang tanah. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah randomized post-test only control group. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai pH akan semakin meningkat seiring bertambahnya intensitas paparan medan magnet ELF yang diberikan. Nilai pH paling efektif pada paparan medan magnet 0,1mT dan 0,2mT yaitu 5,37 dan 5,47. Nilai kadar air akan semakin meningkat seiring bertambahnya intensitas paparan medan magnet yang diberikan. Hal ini dikarenakan semakin kecil paparan medan magnet ELF yang diberikan, bakteri Lactobacillus bulgaricu dan Streptococcus lactis dalam proses pembuatan krim keju semakin banyak sehingga nilai pH dan nilai kadar airnya juga semakin kecil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan guru matematika dengan memanfaatkan teknologi dalam melakukan assessment pada pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomologi. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan assessment pembelajaran matematika di masa pandemi mengacu pada penugasan harian, ulangan harian, keaktifan melalui aplikasi whatsapp dan melihat perbandingan hasil raport peserta didik sebelum pandemi sebagai acuan guru melakukan assessment. Meskipun pelaksanaan assessment di masa pandemi sebagian guru mengalami kesulitan namun tidak membuat sebagian guru menyerah mencari alternatif dalam melakukan assessement dimasa pandemi. Salah satunya yang dapat guru manfaatkan dengan menggunakan teknologi dalam melakukan assessment pada pembelajaran daring sehingga proses pembelajaran tetap berjalan dengan baik.
