Abstract

The warehouse logistics system is an integral part of supply chain management, serving to ensure availability in the right quantities and at the right time.This study aims to analyze the role of the warehouse logistics system in distribution effectiveness and stock accuracy at PT. Sari Warna Asli Garment Solo. The approach used is quantitative associative. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents involved in the company's logistics and operational activities. The data analysis technique used was Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) to simultaneously test the role of independent variables on two dependent variables. Data processing was performed using SPSS version 22. The analysis results indicate that the warehouse logistics system plays a significant role in distribution effectiveness and stock management accuracy, as evidenced by the results of univariate tests with a significance value of 0.000 (Sig. <0.05) and MANOVA tests with a significance value of 0.000 (Sig. <0.05). Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. These findings confirm that the warehouse logistics system is a crucial factor in dan  persaingan bisnis industri yang semakin ketat, efektivitas distribusi dan akurasi pengelolaan stok menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan operasional perusahaan supporting distribution effectiveness and stock management accuracy at the company.

Abstract

Loading and unloading activities of Car Built Unit (CBU) cargo at ports involve a high risk of occupational accidents due to the interaction between workers, vehicles, and loading facilities. One of the most critical facilities is the ramp door, which serves as the main access for vehicles entering and leaving Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessels. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practices and identify the dominant risks associated with ramp door operations during CBU loading and unloading activities at Tanjung Priok Port. A quantitative approach was employed through field observations using an OSH assessment instrument covering personnel, equipment, operational procedures, work environment, and management supervision. Risk analysis was conducted using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method by evaluating Severity, Occurrence, and Detection to determine the Risk Priority Number (RPN). The findings indicate that the implementation of OSH achieved a score of 75%, categorized as good. FMEA identified slippery ramp door surfaces as the highest-priority risk, with an RPN value of 48. Therefore, regular inspections, anti-slip surface improvements, enhanced lighting, and stricter compliance with operational procedures are recommended to improve occupational safety and the operational performance of CBU loading and unloading activities.

Abstract

Climate change has become a significant global challenge affecting the maritime and port sectors, with rising sea levels and land subsidence threatening port operations in coastal areas. As a critical logistics hub in Indonesia, Tanjung Emas Port faces complex environmental pressures including tidal flooding, land subsidence reaching 6.51 cm per year, and carbon emissions from port activities. This study analyzes how the integration of smart governance and collaborative governance supports sustainable Green Port transformation at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. The research employs a qualitative case study approach with data collection through documentation studies of Pelindo reports, government policy documents, academic publications, and relevant secondary sources. Thematic analysis is used to examine three main aspects: Green Port implementation, smart governance practices, and collaborative governance practices. Findings reveal that Green Port transformation is manifested through renewable energy adoption, digitalization of port services, integrated waste management, and climate adaptation infrastructure. Smart governance enables real-time data integration and evidence-based decision-making through systems such as integrated control rooms, OCR technology, and online truck booking systems. Collaborative governance operates through a pentahelix model involving local government, port operators, businesses, communities, and academics. The study contributes a Smart Collaborative Green Port Governance (SCGPG) model as a conceptual framework for sustainable port development. This research concludes that Green Port success depends not only on green technology investment but also on governance capacity that integrates data systems and strengthens multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Abstract

The strategic vision of Tanjung Emas Port Semarang to become a world to transform into a world-class green port confronts critical climate challenges, including tidal flooding that disrupts operations, shipping channel siltation that escalates logistics costs, and container yard congestion that exacerbates carbon emissions. This study aims to assess the port’s institutional readiness in implementing sustainable maritime transformation through the lens of smart governance. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collection encompassing field observation of service systems and digital infrastructure, regulatory documentation from Pelindo and the Ministry of Transportation, and operational data analysis including water levels and berthing schedules. Thematic analysis focused on three dimensions: digital readiness against physical challenges, integration of environmental sensor data into decision-making systems, and the effectiveness of cross-sectoral coordination between Pelindo and KSOP. The findings reveal that Tanjung Emas Port is in an uneven transitional phase technological infrastructure has been developed, yet data integration for proactive mitigation remains fragmented. Institutional coordination barriers, stemming from data silos and diverging inter-authority priorities, constitute the primary bottleneck hindering collaborative governance. These findings assert that without institutional transformation enabling data sharing and evidence-based decision-making, green technology investments in ports will fail to achieve their optimal impact. Recommendations include establishing an integrated command center and regulatory incentives for collaborative climate action.

Abstract

Background: The global maritime supply chain faces enormous pressure to undergo digital transformation amid demands for efficiency and resilience. Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have emerged as key technologies, yet their integration has rarely been systematically reviewed. Objective: This study aims to synthesize scientific evidence on Blockchain-AI integration models, their contributions to maritime supply chain efficiency and resilience, and the factors influencing implementation.Method: A systematic literature review (SLR) following the PRISMA protocol was conducted. Searches were performed in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar (2019 2024) using structured keywords. A total of 128 articles from 152 initial references were thematically analyzed. Results: Three main integration patterns were identified: off-chain AI with on-chain smart contracts, on-chain federated learning, and hybrid oracle-based integration. Blockchain-AI integration has been proven to reduce turnaround time by 25 35%, document costs by 28 44%, and increase supply chain visibility by up to 92%. Resilience improved through disruption prediction (85 94% accuracy), automated rerouting, and reduction of recovery time by up to 57%. The main barriers are interoperability, regulation, and migration costs. Simultaneous Blockchain-AI integration enhances both efficiency and resilience of maritime supply chains, but requires interoperability standards and regulatory support.

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of optimal integration between expertise competencies and document management of prospective crew members which has an impact on the effectiveness of the recruitment process in the placement of crew members at PT. Bharat Maritim Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of expertise competencies and document management on the recruitment process in crew placement. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach using a sample withdrawal using a saturated sample of 40 employees of PT. Bharat Maritime Indonesia which is involved in the recruitment process of the crew. The results of the study showed that competence in expertise and document management had a positive and significant influence on the recruitment process, where the F test showed a Fcal value of 48.833 greater than Ftable 3.25 with a significance level of 0.000 and an R value of 0.852. As much as 72.5% of the recruitment process is influenced by these two variables, while the remaining 27.5% is influenced by other factors such as work experience, education level, and company policies. Thus, improving expertise competencies supported by good document management is an important factor in improving the quality and efficiency of the recruitment process and crew placement.

Abstract

Based on the low student learning outcomes with these conditions influenced by the learning process which is still dominated by lecture methods and does not involve students in analyzing real problems related to work safety. In fact, understanding the use of PPE is an important aspect in preventing work accidents on merchant ships. This study aims to determine the effect of the PBI learning model on the understanding of the use of personal protective equipment. This type of research uses research (Pre-Experimental) with a quantitative descriptive approach with a focus on providing treatment related to learning the application of personal protective equipment, for experimental research it can be explained that this type of research is used to find the effect of the treatment given to the subject. The results of the study on the descriptive test show the average value on multiple choice and essay questions shows there is a positive impact on the pre-test data of 35.14 and post-test 43.00, while on the essay question data for the pre-test 50.78 and post-test 66.70. In the regression test to see the impact of providing the Problem Based Instruction learning model on multiple choice questions with a sig value of 0.019 <0.05 while the results of the essay question test show a sig value of 0.021 > 0.05). The conclusion of this study shows that the Problem Based Instruction learning model is effective in understanding the procedures for using personal protective equipment for students at Sunan Drajat Vocational School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the synergy between digital marketing and green logistics as a sustainable marketing strategy and its influence on the logistics service performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Batang Integrated Industrial Area (Batang IIA). Digital transformation and environmental sustainability pressures have driven the logistics industry to adopt adaptive and eco-friendly marketing strategies. This research employs a descriptive-qualitative approach with a case study design. A total of 12 informants from three stakeholder groups MSMEs, logistics companies, and industrial area managers were involved through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that MSMEs' adoption of digital marketing remains at an early stage, predominantly utilizing social media, while logistics companies have implemented it more comprehensively. The implementation of green logistics is still partial, primarily focused on operational efficiency through route optimization and fuel savings. The synergy between both strategies has been proven to improve delivery speed, cost efficiency, service reliability, and customer satisfaction. This study formulates an integrative model combining digital capabilities, green practices, integrated communication strategies, and ecosystem support as a sustainable marketing framework. Theoretically, this research enriches the literature on sustainable marketing and technology adoption in developing countries. Practically, it offers policy recommendations for industrial area managers, logistics companies, and MSMEs in developing a digital-based sustainable logistics ecosystem.
