Abstract

Recently, social media platform usage in the context of educational settings has changed the way students learn and teachers teach. And one such platform is Instagram. This article aims to explore the benefits of using Instagram in the classroom to teach English and examine its effectiveness in teaching English and improving language proficiency based on previous research. Therefore, this article utilizes the systematic review method. A total of 106 articles were collected through several databases namely Eric, Google Scholar, and DOAJ, and selected until 25 articles were selected to be analyzed. The results of the analysis show that the utilization of Instagram is very effective in increasing all language skills such as writing, speaking, reading as well as listening. Instagram is also effective in increasing students' vocabulary and increasing students' interest and motivation to learn English. Instagram as a learning media is also beneficial to create a learning process that tends to be more interesting and flexible. The content on Instagram is very useful for increasing students' creativity because students can find more ideas on Instagram. In terms of providing feedback to students, Instagram is a very effective application through its features.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the strategies families use to develop positive values in children from an early age. This study uses a literature review where references are taken in accordance with the research context. The results showed that effective communication acts as a foundation that allows families to convey positive values, discuss the consequences of certain behaviors, and resolve value conflicts. Positive behavioral examples shown by parents were found to be the most influential factor, with children tending to imitate the behaviors they observed from their parents. Strategies of assigning responsibility and rewarding effort also contributed significantly to children's motivation to embrace positive values and apply them in their lives. Children who were given responsibility with positive support from their parents showed increased independence, confidence and willingness to contribute to their environment.

Abstract

Effective curriculum management is the key to realising quality learning at every level of education. In this process, curriculum organisation involves thorough planning, flexible implementation and continuous evaluation. Good management ensures that teaching materials are appropriate to students' needs and able to respond to the ongoing changes in social, technological and economic contexts. Regular evaluation and critical reflection on the curriculum allows for quick and appropriate adaptation, keeping it relevant to the latest developments. This prepares students with critical thinking skills, creativity and 21st century competencies that are essential to determine their future success. Besides focusing on students, a good curriculum management strategy also strengthens parental and community involvement in the education process. Through effective communication and active participation, families and communities can support learning and fill an important role in an inclusive and conducive education ecosystem. Effective curriculum management also involves continuous professional development for teachers, ensuring that they continuously update their competencies and adopt best practices in teaching. Well-trained and motivated teachers tend to be innovative, creating dynamic learning environments and supporting improved student learning outcomes. Thus, curriculum management is the strategic foundation that ensures that every element in the educational process functions optimally to achieve superior educational quality.

Abstract

Education 5.0 is an innovative approach to education that integrates advanced technology and the latest learning methodologies to create a student-centred learning environment. The research method conducted in this study is literature. The results showed that students' digital intelligence, creativity, and collaborative skills improved. The implementation of Education 5.0, which embraces technology and innovative learning methodologies, facilitates a more dynamic and interactive learning environment, increasing student motivation and participation in the learning process. Study results indicated students engaged in an Education 5.0- based curriculum showed improved performance in complex problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork, compared to traditional approaches. Furthermore, the findings suggest that educators, as facilitators, play a key role in inspiring student innovation and creativity through the use of technology and project-based learning approaches. The implementation of Education 5.0 not only enriches students' learning experiences but also prepares them with relevant skills for future challenges, underscoring the importance of transitioning to a more flexible and adaptive educational paradigm in preparing students for success in an ever-changing global society.

Abstract

In today's digital era, digital skills and intelligence have become an important element in education. This study aims to analyse the importance of digital skills integration in the concept of holistic education with the aim of preparing students for future challenges. The research method conducted in this study uses the literature research method. The results found that the integration of digital skills into holistic education enriches the learning process by adding critical and interactive dimensions. Students not only acquire technical knowledge, but also digital intelligence that includes an understanding of cybersecurity, ethics in the use of technology, and critical thinking in searching for information. These results confirm that digital skills help students adapt to the ever-changing professional environment and enhance their active participation in a knowledge-based society.

Abstract

This research reviews the literature related to character education and moral development in children, with the aim of understanding how moral values can be effectively transferred through formal and informal education. The study identified effective methods in character education, such as the use of moral stories, interactive discussions, and real-life examples from adults. Findings from various studies show that character education that is consistently implemented in the school curriculum has a significant positive impact on children's moral development, as seen in their daily behaviour and their ability to make ethical decisions. This study recommends closer collaboration between schools and families and the establishment of policies that support the integration of character education in the formal education system. Thus, character education can contribute to the formation of a generation that upholds moral and ethical values.

Abstract

Conflict management strategies in the school environment include a range of approaches designed to resolve disputes and promote constructive communication between students, teachers and staff. By applying mediation techniques, negotiation and training in social-emotional skills, schools aim to reduce the incidence of conflict and promote peaceful problem solving. The research method conducted in this study uses the literature research method. The results show that effective conflict management has a significant impact on enhancing positive school climate, student engagement, and improving learning achievement. Schools that successfully integrated proactive and educative conflict management approaches in their curriculum and school policies showed a decrease in conflict incidents, an increase in students' ability to resolve conflict constructively, and better emotional well-being. In addition, this study identifies the critical role of school leadership and the participation of all stakeholders, including teachers, parents and students, in maintaining a school climate conducive to learning and positive conflict resolution.

Abstract

This literature review analyses the effects of online games to the acquisition of students’ vocabulary in English. In order to become competent and proficient in a second language, vocabulary knowledge is essential. It is a crucial skill that students studying English as a Second Language (ESL) must acquire because understanding written and spoken communication requires a large vocabulary. Due to the general consensus that educational online games can enhance the learning process, the use of these games in vocabulary instruction is becoming more and more common. Based on library research, this study offers a review of the literature on the topic of vocabulary acquisition related to online games for ESL students. The research has demonstrated the potential of online games as learning aids for vocabulary since they increase student satisfaction with their studies and encourage independent learning.

As such, holistic education focuses not only on academic outcomes but also on building whole people who are ready to contribute positively and effectively in society and the future world of work.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of the digital revolution on education and how adaptive and integrative strategies can be applied to enhance intelligence during the information age. Through the literature research method, this study examines various scholarly sources and publications according to the research context. The results show that the integration of technology in education provides opportunities for wider access to knowledge and supports continuous learning. However, challenges such as the digital divide must be overcome to ensure that all students can benefit from digitally enhanced education. Adaptive strategies involving flexible curricula and teaching responsive to technological developments were shown to improve students' ability to think critically, creatively and collaboratively. The implication is that education systems should encourage learning methodologies that foster continuous customization and integration to equip students with the skills needed for success in an ever-evolving knowledge-based society.
