Abstract

Dewasa ini pemerintah mengalakan pendidikan yang bercirikan dengan agama,  atau yang sering disebut dengan pendidikan karakter. Seperti kita ketahui bahwa karakter bangsa Indonesia sekarang merosot. Oleh karena itu pendidikan karakter sebagai solusi untuk untuk membangun karakter bangsa agar memiliki karakter yang baik.  Dalam pemberian pendidikan karakter pada  sebuah  lembaga pendidikan dapat  dilakukan   dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai  pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian yang menggunakan studi kepustakaan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam pembelajaran  bahasa Indonesia.  Hasil  dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwap pelaksanaan  pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran  Bahasa Indonesia memerlukan pemahaman guru sebagai pelaksana kurikulum  dan fasilitator bagi siswa melalui kegiatan pembelajaran  di sekolah  sehingga siswa tidak hanya memiliki kompetensi yang baik, melainkan  juga memiliki budi pekerti yang terpuji.Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, pembelajaran Bahasa IndonesiaCHARACTER  EDUCATION   IN   BAHASA   INDONESIA LEARNING.   Today  the   government   mengalakan    education characterized by religion, or what is often  referred to as character education. As we know that the character of the Indonesian nation is  now in decline. Therefore, character  education  as a solution  to the nation’s character in order to build good character. In giving the character education  in an educational  institution  can be done  by instilling the values of character education  in the learning process. This study  whic uses library research, aims to exams the character education contained in Indonesian learning. In this case related to the educational values embodied in learning Indonesian. The result oh this study showed that implementation  of character education in learning Indonesian  requires understanding  the teacher as implementer and facilitator for the student  curriculum through learning activities in schools so that students not only have a good competence, but also has a commendable character.Keywords: character, education, Bahasa Indonesia, learning

Abstract

Student discipline is one of the internal factors to achieve learning objectives. Discipline is formed because of the influence of the culture of the surrounding environment over a long period of time consistently and continuously. Watnatham Islam School uses two types of curriculum, which are Islamic and academic curriculum. It influences the culture of discipliness in schools and boarding schools. This study aims to (1) describe the level of discipline of students and (2) describe school efforts to improve student discipline in the academic curriculum learning process and Islamic curriculum at high Mattayom Watnatham Islam School Panare Pattani-South Thailand on 2018-2019. This research is a qualitative research with field research as the method. Data was collection using (1) interviews, (2) observations, and (3) documentation. Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui awal mula Sedulur Sikep di  Dukuh Kaliyoso Desa Karangrowo dalam melaksanakan pendidikan formal,  serta mengungkap bagaimana sistem pendidikan agama yang dijalankan di lembaga pendidikan formal yang mereka tempati. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif  yang menekankan pada aspek kedalaman informasi yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, didukung pula oleh observasi dan dokumentasi di lapangan. Adapun sampel diambil dengan teknik snowball  sampling.  Hasil  penelitian  ini  menunjukkan adanya keturunan Sedulur Sikep Kaliyoso yang mengenyam pendidikan formal yang berawal dari dua anasir penting; pertama; adanya kebijakan yang berisi warga Sedulur Sikep Kaliyoso harus melaksanakan pendidikan formal, kedua; adanya kesadaran dari keturunan Sedulur Sikep sendiri tentang pentingnya pendidikan formal bagi keberlangsungan  hidup mereka.  Namun setelah kebijakan tersebut terealisasi, siswa keturunan Sedulur Sikep di SD 3 Kaliyoso mendapat kebijakan baru yaitu diikut sertakan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI).kata kunci: kebijakan, Sedulur Sikep, pembelajaran PAI.THE  DYNAMICS OF  SEDULUR SIKEP KALIYOSO GENEALOGY MOVEMENT AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION DISCOURSE. This study aims to analyze the beginning of ‘Sedulur Sikep’ existence in Kaliyoso, Karangrowo village. It is especially about formal  education  implementation,  and reveals  how the  religious education system in formal educational institutions. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive method that emphasizes the aspects of depth information  obtained through interviews, supported by observation and documentation in the field. The samples were taken by using a snowball sampling  technique. The results of this study showed that Sedulur  Sikep Kaliyoso joining formal  education  starts  from two essential elements; first; a policy that ‘Sedulur Sikep’ Kaliyoso should implement  formal education, second; Sedulur Sikep awareness with the importance of formal education for their survival. But after the policy is realized, students from ‘Sedulur Sikep’ in SD 3 Kaliyoso got a new policy. That is included in the teaching and learing process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI).Keywords: Policy, Sedulur Sikep, Learning PAI

Abstract

This study aims to discover the reasons for the culture of peace instilled in Islamic spiritual (rohis) activists and the role of rohis activists in cultivating a culture of peace. This field research took place in SMA Negeri 1 Purworejo. This qualitative research seeks to describe the data from the field related to the discussion. This research focuses on the implementation of rohis activities. To get the data, data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. All data were then analyzed in stages: reducing the data, presenting the data, and concluding the research results. Meanwhile, the data validity was checked by triangulation in two modes: multiple sources and methods. This study concluded that (1) the reasons for instilling the character of a culture of peace in rohis activists is that the teachings of Islam practiced are intolerant and contradict the values taken from the history of the school. (2) The role of rohis activists in cultivating a culture of peace was carried out in two steps, i.e., preventing the entry of intolerance and constructing new knowledge. This construction of new knowledge was conducted by internalizing the attitude of a culture of peace. The method was done using lectures, practice, and dialogue.

Abstract

Science and religion are a unity. The difference between the two lies only in the way of view. Knowledge comes from the One God. All kinds of approaches to reality are ultimately capable of being integrated and integrated with the contemplation of the concept of God's oneness. Scientific activity is closely related to the implementation of education. The implementation of education is always based on curriculum development. The existence of curriculum development is based on the emergence of future challenges and competencies. This research aims to describe the design of integrative science and religion in the device and the implementation of learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, sample in this research is teacher at MTsN Kota Salatiga. The integration of science and religion is seen only in the implementation of learning, where teachers have introduced the relationship of science and religion through connecting with the verses of the Qur'an. The integration that has been implemented in the madrasah is already on the operational level.AbstrakSains dan agama merupakan satu kesatuan. Perbedaan keduanya hanya terletak pada cara pandang semata. Pengetahuan bersumber pada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Semua jenis pendekatan terhadap realitas pada akhirnya mampu disatupadukan dan diintegrasikan dengan melakukan perenungan tentang konsep keesaan Tuhan. Aktifitas saintifik erat hubungannya dengan pelaksanaan pendidikan. Penyelenggaraan pendidikan selalu didasarkan adanya pengembangan kurikulum. Adanya pengembangan kurikulum didasarkan pada munculnya tantangan dan kompetensi masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan desain madrasah sains integratif dalam perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah guru di MTsN Kota Salatiga. Integrasi sains dan agama terlihat hanya pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran, di mana guru sudah mengenalkan hubungan sains dan agama melalui menghubungkan dengan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an. Integrasi yang telah diterapkan di madrasah sudah pada tatataran operasional.Kata Kunci: Integrasi, Sains, Agama, Pembelajaran

Abstract

This qualitative research examined the challenges of the character education for Malay-speaking Muslim children in Sambas Regency, Indonesia, a post-conflict region marked by inter-ethnic tensions. Based on observation, interviews, and literature review, the discussion explored the impact of prolonged ethnic conflict on the education system, character building, and transitional peacemaking. Schools in Sambas faced significant challenges in integrating peace and multicultural education into teaching practices. The discussion illustrated how institutional character education fosters multiculturalism and peace by addressing the residual effects of conflict while aligning with government regulations and local wisdom. It argued that while character education is a long-term effort, it held promise for fostering sustainable positive peace and inter-ethnic harmony. The insights from Sambas offered a framework for character education in similar conflict-affected regions, emphasize the importance of peace and multicultural values in education.

Abstract

Dilatarbelakangi  oleh permasalahan pendidikan di Indonesia dewasa ini yang dinilai  semakin kompleks, penulis berupaya mengkaji tentang  pembelajaran   fiqh  berdasarkan kesehatan reproduksi.  Dalam pelaksaannya  kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan dengan  metode  analisis deskriptif. Pembelajaran  Fiqh berdasarkan kesehatan reproduksi adalah konsep pengembangan materi Fiqh yang dihasilkan  dengan meninjau kurikulum sebelumnya yang dianggap tidak sadar dengan masalah remaja, khususnya dalam konteks kesehatan reproduksi. Permasalahan remaja seringkali berakar dari kurangnya informasi dan pemahaman serta  kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan reproduksi.  Di sisi lain,  remaja sendiri mengalami perubahan  fisik yang cepat. Harus ada keyakinan bersama bahwa membangun generasi penerus yang berkualitas perlu dimulai sejak anak, bahkan sejak dalam kandungan. Konsep pembelajaran fiqh berbasis kesehatan reproduksi merupakan sebuah tawaran pengembangan materi mata pelajaran fiqh madrasah aliyah terkait dengan tema-tema tertentu yang berhubungan dengan kesehatan reproduksi, seperti materi, zina, iddah dan lainnya.Kata kunci: Konsep pembelajaran,  Fiqh, Kesehatan reproduksiLEARNING  CONCEPTS OF  FIQH   IN  REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH PERSPECTIVE.  Effected by the problem of education in Indonesia which is rated increasingly complex, the author seeks to investigate about Fiqh learning based on reproductive health. In the implementation, this study uses library research by applying descriptive analysis method. Learning Fiqh based on reproductive health  is the concept of the development of material  generated by reviewing the Fiqh of curriculum  previously which  was deemed not aware with the  problems of youth, particularly in the context of reproductive health. Teenage problems often stem from a lack of information and understanding and awareness  of the  importance  of maintaining the reproductive health.  On the  other hand, teens  themselves  are experiencing rapid  physical  changes. Therefore, should  be a shared belief that building the qualified next generation need to be started since the child, even in the womb. The concept of learning fiqh based on reproductive health is an offer of material development subjects of fiqh in Islamic Senior High School (madrasah aliyah) related to specific themes related to reproductive health, such as the material of zina, iddah and so on.Keywords: learning concept, Fiqh, reproductive health
Leading Islamic University Through Excellent Higher Pesantren: Challenges, and Strategies in Integrated Curriculum Development

Abstract

Along with the pace of globalization, and the severity of educational competitions, not a few actors of Islamic higher education tried to integrate two 'educational entities' (university and pesantren), in an integrated education curriculum system. Some were successful, but not a few was failed. This qualitative research article is based on interactive model data analysis technique that aims to 'initiate' the efforts of integrated curriculum development model of excellent higher pesantren at UII Yogyakarta, considering its good institutional achievement, so it should be the pilot project of the integration effort. This research concluded that the indigenous values in integrated curriculum development based on its excellent pesantren are to be oriented at the value of establishment of a 'progressive-inclusive-integrative' scholars candidate. The challenges of its integrated curriculum development include the alignment of synergical idea of university values and modern pesantren; institutionalization of university and pesantren policies; and integrating the curriculum products of university-based pesantren and community service. While, the strategies of its integrated curriculum development are implementing a top down and bottom up approach that involve all its stakehoders through a forum for feasibility of pesantren curriculum development that supported by phases that are determination of the pesantren curriculum enforcement area, development procedures; curriculum implementation; and evaluation results. However, it still needs strengthening ‘the outsider’s perspective’, especially from the users of its pesantren curriculum products in order to be able more adaptive to global needs as the idea of Beauchamp

Abstract

SPRITUAL TEACHING IN SCIENCE LEARNING IN MADRASAH. The purpose of national education must be realized in a series of learning process. One of the ways to realize it is by applying the spiritual teaching. Spiritual teaching is teaching and guiding the learners by instilling values and religious spirit which is integrated in knowledge and skill concept in accordance with the learning purposes.  The essence of science learning includes four main elements. They are attitude, process, product, and application. Spiritual teaching in science learning in madrasah can be implemented in some ways, some of them are: 1) reflective learning, 2) contextual learning (CTL), 3) spiritual educational game (SEG), and 4) outdoor learning. The teacher is able to choose the learning method that will be applied. It is associated with the material that will be delivered. When the teacher applies the spiritual teaching in science learning in madrasah, it is hoped that the students will be smart comprehensively, intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally/socially.
Values of Tolerance Through Religious Learning at Al-Hikmah Lasem Islamic Boarding School: Concepts, Strategies, and Challenges

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the internalization of tolerance values through religious learning at the Al-Hikmah Lasem Islamic Boarding School. The type of research used is field research, namely research that requires researchers to travel to the field to observe phenomena in a scientific context. The subjects in this study were Kiai, Ustaz, head of the boarding school, administrators, and students of Al-Hikmah Lasem. The criteria for students involved by researchers to determine research subjects were those who had lived in Islamic boarding schools for a range of two to four years. The results of this study revealed that the internalization of tolerance values at the Al-Hikmah Lasem Islamic boarding school was achieved through habituation strategies and exemplary strategies. The internalization process was carried out through religious learning both textually through book studies and contextually through examples and procedures for socializing and tolerance with the community. Supporting factors for achieving the internalization of the tolerance value included the motivation frequently given by caregivers, Ustaz, and administrators to the students of the Al-Hikmah Lasem Islamic Boarding School; the condition or environment of the Al-Hikmah Lasem Islamic Boarding School; the existence of supporting facilities at the Al-Hikmah Lasem Islamic Boarding School. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors comprised the different backgrounds of students and the lack of interaction between students and the Chinatown community.
