Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) proses jual beli online melalui aplikasi Shopee PayLater, dan (2) perspektif hukum ekonomi syariah terhadap praktik tersebut. Subjek penelitian adalah masyarakat Kota Makassar yang menggunakan fitur Shopee PayLater. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif atau naturalistik, karena dilakukan pada kondisi yang alamiah. Data penelitian bersumber dari data primer dan sekunder, dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik jual beli melalui Shopee PayLater masih menimbulkan persoalan dari sudut pandang hukum ekonomi syariah. Hal ini disebabkan adanya sistem pembayaran secara kredit dengan tambahan bunga atau biaya tertentu, yang berpotensi mengandung unsur riba, gharar (ketidakpastian), dan ketidakjelasan akad. Kondisi tersebut menimbulkan keraguan akan kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip muamalah dalam Islam. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menekankan perlunya pengembangan sistem paylater berbasis syariah yang bebas dari praktik riba dan gharar, sehingga dapat mendukung terciptanya transaksi online yang adil, transparan, dan sesuai syariat Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the e-learning platform Quipper School on improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for Grade X students at SMA Muhammadiyah I Unismuh Makassar. The research problem is formulated as follows: (1) How is the use of Quipper School e-learning media in Islamic Religious Education? (2) How are the students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education? (3) Is there any influence of using Quipper School e-learning media on the improvement of students’ learning outcomes?This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive quantitative method. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The population consisted of all Grade X students at SMA Muhammadiyah I Unismuh Makassar, with the sample selected using purposive sampling.The results of the study indicate that the use of Quipper School e-learning media falls into the “good” category. Students’ learning outcomes also showed a significant improvement after using the platform. Based on statistical tests, it was found that there is a positive and significant effect of using Quipper School on enhancing students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the application of information technology in Islamic Education learning at SMP Unismuh Makassar; (2) explore the challenges faced in developing IT-based Islamic Education; and (3) examine the strategies applied to improve the use of technology in the learning process. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The findings show that the use of information technology in Islamic Education learning has been implemented quite well. Teachers have utilized various digital media such as PowerPoint, YouTube, and interactive platforms (Kahoot, Quizizz) to make lessons more engaging and to increase student participation. However, several challenges remain, including technical problems (such as power outages and unstable internet connections), school policies limiting the use of students’ personal devices, and differences in students’ digital literacy. To address these challenges, the school and teachers have provided digital materials that can be accessed without personal devices and developed interactive and flexible teaching approaches. These strategies are intended to ensure that technology meaningfully supports students’ understanding of the subject matter.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of instructional media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects to enhance the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at UPTD SDN 185 Inpres Salomatti.The research employed a case study approach with a qualitative method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, involving the principal, the Islamic Religious Education teacher, and fifth-grade students as the primary informants. The findings reveal that: (1) The implementation of instructional media in PAI learning for fifth-grade students at UPTD SDN 185 Inpres Salomatti has been carried out fairly well, providing significant benefits for both teachers and students. (2) Student learning motivation remains at a moderate level but tends to increase when teachers use engaging media such as animated videos, images, and technology-based quizzes. (3) Supporting factors include teachers’ readiness to use technology, support from the school through Teacher Working Group (KKG) activities, and students’ enthusiasm for the media applied. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited facilities such as the number of technological devices, dependence on electricity, and students’ limited ability to operate technology-based media

Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the role of Islamic Education teachers in improving students’ discipline in performing prayers at SMP Negeri 22 Makassar, (2) describe the forms of prayer discipline among students at SMP Negeri 22 Makassar, and (3) explain the obstacles faced by Islamic Education teachers in fostering students’ prayer discipline at SMP Negeri 22 Makassar. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method and was conducted at SMP Negeri 22 Makassar, located at Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 7, Ujung Pandang Baru, Tallo District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi Province. The research subjects include the school principal, Islamic Education teachers, and students. The research instruments used were observation, interview guidelines, and documentation guidelines. Data analysis techniques consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: (1) The role of Islamic Education teachers in improving students’ prayer discipline involves several aspects: teachers act as guides by inviting and instructing students to participate in religious activities such as daily prayers and recitations of Asmaul Husna; teachers act as role models by demonstrating exemplary attitudes, behaviors, and guidance; and teachers implement habituation practices by organizing scheduled religious activities at school. (2) The forms of students’ prayer discipline at SMP Negeri 22 Makassar are fostered through various approaches, such as performing congregational prayers together and providing direct guidance, which ultimately helps students become more disciplined and develop awareness of performing prayers. This awareness serves as an important foundation for students to build the habit of fulfilling their religious obligations in daily life. (3) The obstacles faced by Islamic Education teachers in promoting students’ prayer discipline include students’ lack of awareness, diverse backgrounds, and limited facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the practice of habituating congregational prayer at SMA Aksara Bajeng, (2) examine the role of Islamic Education teachers in fostering students’ habit of performing congregational prayer, and (3) identify the supporting factors that contribute to the success of habituating congregational prayer among students. This research employs a field study approach located at Jl. Batang Banoa No. 31, Mata Allo Village, Bajeng District, using a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected directly from the field through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that (1) the process of habituating congregational prayer at SMA Aksara Bajeng has been implemented well, although some students still lack intrinsic awareness to participate, influenced by family and school environment factors. (2) The role of Islamic Education teachers includes serving as motivators who encourage students to perform congregational prayers consistently, as role models who set examples through knowledge, character, and behavior, as mentors who provide guidance, advice, and direction, and as evaluators who assess both students’ progress and the effectiveness of the learning process. (3) The factors supporting the success of congregational prayer habituation include students’ internal motivation, parental support, adequate prayer facilities, a supportive school environment, and strong collaboration among teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in improving Qur’an memorization among eighth-grade students at SMP Unismuh Makassar, (2) explain the forms of these strategies applied by PAI teachers, and (3) identify the obstacles faced in implementing the strategies to enhance students’ Qur’an memorization. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, documentation, and interviews with the principal and Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP Unismuh Makassar. The findings show that (1) the strategies used by PAI teachers to improve students’ Qur’an memorization include muroja’ah (repetition) and providing guidance to encourage students to be diligent in memorizing. (2) Students’ discipline in maintaining their memorization is implemented by reciting and submitting their memorization after Dhuhr prayer to ensure they consistently review what they have learned. (3) The main obstacle faced by teachers is students’ lack of diligence and consistency in memorizing the Qur’an, which makes it difficult for teachers to overcome these challenges effectively.

Abstract

Subsidized fertilizer is a form of government assistance aimed at reducing the burden on farmers and increasing agricultural productivity. However, in practice, the availability of fertilizer often becomes an issue, disrupting production processes and farmers’ income. This problem is mainly caused by untimely distribution and high prices due to limited supply.This study aims to analyze the effect of subsidized fertilizer availability on farmers’ welfare in Sengka Village, Bontonompo Selatan District, Gowa Regency. A quantitative approach was employed with two independent variables, namely fertilizer availability (X1) and fertilizer price (X2), and one dependent variable, farmers’ welfare (Y). Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 respondents who were active farmers.The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the extent of the influence of X1 and X2 on Y. The results showed that both independent variables had a significant effect on farmers’ welfare, both simultaneously and partially. Untimely distribution and high fertilizer prices were found to negatively affect farmers’ income and quality of life. The study was analyzed using Ibn Khaldun’s economic theory, which emphasizes the importance of fair distribution and the state’s role in ensuring public welfare.

Abstract

In present-day Indonesia, both Islamic and non-Islamic educational institutions have flourished, competing to educate their students and produce future generations that are exceptional and contributive to the nation. Madrasah educational institutions (MI and MTs) still face a shortage of students. This issue arises due to factors such as a lack of trust from parents in the institutions, insufficient engagement between teachers, headmasters, and the community, and an inability to effectively implement strategies that build community trust. This research aims to examine how the collaboration between madrasah heads and the community can advance education in madrasahs and how madrasah heads attract the interest of the community to enroll their children in madrasah. This study discusses madrasah leadership using a literature study method. The findings indicate that there is a strong relationship between madrasahs and the community in increasing the interest of the community to send their children to madrasah. Strategies that can be employed by madrasah heads include continuously building partnerships with the community, thus significantly increasing the acceptance of new students every year. Madrasah heads can attract the community's interest by implementing various strategies, such as engaging with the community, collaborating with other institutions, offering superior programs, and promoting the madrasah.

Abstract

The negative connotation associated with societal perceptions of the guidance and counseling profession sometimes equates it to a problem-solver.  Guidance and counseling educators are essential, beyond conventional academic responsibilities to attend to students' social, emotional, and psychological welfare, while also promoting a pleasant school atmosphere.  This article examines the imperative of peace competency for guidance and counseling educators in the context of inclusive education, and how a peace-oriented approach can transform their function from mere conflict mediators to proactive agents in fostering harmonious, secure, and diversity-respecting educational settings. Utilizing a literary analysis that integrates sources from articles and books released in the last ten years.  The extensive duties of guidance and counseling educators encompass proactive measures to foster a pleasant and inclusive school atmosphere, promote peace education, and prepare students with the competencies required to manage difficult social scenarios and amicably settle problems.  Therefore, support and cooperation from all stakeholders are crucial, including efforts to improve the peace competences of guidance and counseling educators, allowing them to properly execute their roles and responsibilities.
