Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology in education requires teachers to integrate multimedia into more innovative and engaging learning processes. Educational animation and multimedia have proven effective in increasing students’ learning interest, facilitating the understanding of abstract concepts, and creating more interactive learning experiences at the elementary level. However, observations show that many elementary school teachers still lack the skills to create educational multimedia content that matches the characteristics of young learners. This limitation affects the variety of learning media used and leads to low student engagement in classroom activities. This community service program was carried out through three main stages. The first stage involved an initial survey to identify participants’ profiles, their technological skills, and specific needs related to multimedia learning media development. The findings served as the basis for designing a workshop that matched participants’ needs. The second stage was a two-day intensive workshop consisting of four main sessions: introducing the concepts of educational animation and multimedia, hands-on training using Powtoon, Canva, and Animaker, instruction on effective multimedia content design principles, and guided practice in creating animation projects relevant to each teacher’s subject.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to raise public awareness, especially among the younger generation, about the importance of preserving local wisdom and developing character through educational visual campaigns on social media. The activity was motivated by the declining interest of young people in regional cultural values due to the strong influence of globalization and digital media. The implementation method consisted of several stages: identifying local wisdom values, creating educational visual content (infographics, posters, and short videos), publishing the content on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, and evaluating audience engagement. The results showed that using social media as an educational tool effectively attracted public interest and participation in understanding and appreciating local culture. The high level of audience engagement indicated that visual approaches are effective in delivering moral messages and character values. Through this activity, social media proved to function not only as a means of entertainment but also as a medium for education and cultural preservation. Therefore, the educational visual campaign serves as an innovative form of community service in the digital era, relevant to current developments and supporting the formation of Pancasila Student Profiles who are characterized, cultured, and nationally minded.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis digital yang bermuatan budaya lokal. Analisis situasi menunjukkan bahwa guru SD masih terbatas dalam pemanfaatan media inovatif, khususnya berbasis teknologi digital, sehingga pembelajaran IPS sering dianggap monoton dan kurang menarik bagi siswa. Permasalahan lainnya adalah rendahnya integrasi literasi budaya dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan/workshop, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Guru SD diperkenalkan dengan aplikasi digital sederhana seperti Canva, StoryJumper, dan FlipHTML5 untuk mengembangkan pop up book digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam membuat media digital yang kreatif, serta meningkatnya kesadaran guru untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran IPS. Kegiatan ini bermanfaat dalam memberikan solusi praktis atas keterbatasan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, serta mendukung peningkatan literasi budaya siswa. Luaran dari program ini berupa produk pop up book digital karya guru, publikasi ilmiah, serta dokumentasi pelaksanaan kegiatan. Abstract

The physical fitness level of the Indonesian population is increasingly concerning, with only 5.86% of the population categorized as having good fitness, while approximately 76% fall into the low to very low categories. This condition requires solutions through sports activities, including within the school environment. However, physical education learning at SMAN 1 Sutera, Pesisir Selatan, still follows a conventional approach, resulting in monotonous instruction and low student motivation. Based on this situation analysis, the main problem faced by the partner school is the absence of an innovative and engaging learning model in gymnastics activities to improve students’ physical fitness.This community service activity was carried out through counseling, demonstrations, and hands-on practice on game-based modifications within gymnastics activities, particularly forward roll and backward roll skills. The training was conducted in one day, beginning with classroom material delivery followed by game-based practice sessions on the field. The results indicate high student enthusiasm, a more enjoyable learning atmosphere, and students’ ability to perform basic gymnastics techniques according to the provided stages. Game-based learning also increased students’ physical engagement, positively contributing to fitness components such as flexibility, strength, and endurance.The discussion shows that the game-modified approach in gymnastics learning can serve as an alternative solution to the longstanding issue of low learning motivation and has the potential to support improvements in students' physical fitness. This model does not conflict with the learning objectives; instead, it enriches the process and provides a more varied, interactive, and applicable learning experience at school.

Abstract

The results of interviews conducted by the community service team with partners still found existing problems such as the increasing number of competitors selling the same type of breakfast, the lack of partners in promoting breakfast sales, the expected promotions such as the use of digitalization platforms. Responding to existing challenges, the community service team has prepared a work plan or existing solutions based on priorities, namely Providing training and mentoring to partners so that they can utilize sales strategies with platform concepts such as digital to promote products online and expand sales reach, and providing training and mentoring to partners so that they can build an appropriate and attractive brand image so that it is easy for consumers to remember. The method used in this community service activity was a lecture to explain how to increase sales using various existing strategies, based on daily business sales reports. Through a question-and-answer session between the community service team and business owners, the discussion deepened their understanding of sales strategies through discussion/questions and answers. The speaker also introduced them to strategies used to increase sales, which aim to increase market share and reach a wider consumer base. Conclusions from this community service activity included the successful and smooth implementation of the program, knowledge and application of appropriate sales strategies to increase sales, by providing insights into the use of several digital platforms.

Abstract

Accountability and transparency in financial management play a vital role in improving the performance of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). This research focuses on designing and providing assistance in the development of a digital financial reporting application for BUMDes Ambunten Timur, located in Ambunten District, Sumenep Regency. The application is intended to support BUMDes administrators in compiling financial reports that comply with applicable government regulations.The research methodology involves data collection through focus group discussions, field surveys, observations of business unit activities, internal team coordination, and analysis of daily financial transactions to classify debit and credit entries. The findings demonstrate that the developed application is easy to use for BUMDes administrators, including those without formal accounting expertise. In addition, participatory mentoring activities have proven effective in strengthening the administrators’ capacity to prepare accurate financial reports. Overall, this initiative is expected to enhance financial accountability, transparency, and operational efficiency within BUMDes, while also serving as a reference model for community empowerment programs facilitated by higher education institutions.

Abstract

The problem of stunting is a crucial issue that must be addressed collectively. Poverty and low levels of knowledge are key factors that must be addressed to prevent stunting. Stunting prevention must be implemented as early as possible, starting from when the fetus is still in the womb. A child's first 1,000 days must be protected. To reduce stunting rates, collaboration between the government, health services, social services, and the wider community is crucial. One way to reduce stunting is by raising awareness of stunting through outreach and mentoring. The community service program was implemented by the Lambanggelun Village Community Service Team in collaboration with the Paninggaran District Health Center and the Lambanggelun Village government. Lambanggelun Village, Paninggaran District, is one of the villages with a high stunting rate. The activity began with an FGD. The FGD results showed that the Lambanggelun Village community still has low knowledge and awareness of stunting prevention. Therefore, the Lambanggelun Village Community Service Team began its activities with data collection to obtain the latest data on the number of pregnant women in Lambanggelun Village. The data collection results showed that there were 20 pregnant women. After the data collection, the program continued with the preparation of materials, the creation of educational videos, the educational process, and finally, evaluation and provision of supplementary food for pregnant women. The results of the educational activities showed that pregnant women became more aware of the dangers of stunting and there was an increase in their own prevention efforts.

Abstract

This Community Service Program was conducted to strengthen teachers’ pedagogical competence and digital literacy through the implementation of deep learning approaches and digital learning media at SDN 01 Lima Kaum. The situational analysis revealed that classroom instruction was still predominantly teacher-centered, characterized by limited use of digital media and low integration of meaningful learning that promotes higher-order thinking skills among students. The program was implemented through several stages, including preparation, deep learning training, digital learning media development workshops, classroom implementation mentoring, and evaluation. The results indicated an improvement in teachers’ understanding of deep learning principles, enhanced ability to design and utilize interactive digital learning media, as well as increased student motivation and active participation in the learning process. . The evaluation results showed very positive responses from both teachers and students toward the materials, methods, and media used. Overall, this program contributed significantly to improving the quality of learning in elementary schools and fostering an adaptive learning ecosystem aligned with the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Abstract The competence of elementary school teachers in designing and implementing quality learning is a determining factor in the success of education. One of the fundamental competency frameworks that is still not widely understood is Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), which refers to teachers’ ability to integrate mastery of subject matter with appropriate pedagogical strategies. Based on preliminary observations of elementary school teachers in Bungo Regency, it was found that many teachers still did not fully understand the concept of PCK and had not been able to integrate it with the use of digital technology. As a result, the learning process had not been able to provide meaningful and sustainable impacts on students. This community service activity was carried out through a structured socialization program consisting of five main stages: (1) preparation and needs analysis through surveys and Focus Group Discussions (FGD), (2) socialization of technology based PCK concepts through interactive training methods, (3) workshops on developing impactful learning through a project-based learning approach, (4) implementation and trial of learning designs in the classroom, and (5) evaluation and the establishment of a digital teacher learning community. The activity took place from February 23 to March 12, 2026, involving elementary school teachers in Bungo Regency as participants. The results of the socialization program showed that participating teachers experienced significant improvement in their understanding of PCK concepts and their ability to integrate them with digital technology. A total of 92% of participants successfully developed at least one impactful learning tool based on digital PCK according to the subjects they taught. The establishment of a digital teacher learning community serves as a guarantee for the sustainability of the program, enabling the continuous and independent development of teachers’ PCK competencies.
