Abstract

This literature review reveals the journal publication on integrated scientific literacy in natural science learning. A systematic review was carried out through a modified and adopted items selected for the systematic review and meta-analysis (PRISMA). The articles with integrated scientific literacy have been detected in a number of journals, such as ERIC, SCIENCE DIRECT, IJSE, SE, JRST, IOP SCIENCE, DOAJ, and Springer, using the keywords of "Science Literacy teaching materials." The results suggest that the number of studies on integrating scientific literacy learning materials from 2016 to 2020 is still low, so that the opportunity for its development remains wide.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design an application that can help students in learning. So, the authors are interested in designing game-based mobile learning applications that have mathematical content on integer material integrated with hijaiyah numbers, so that the game media has its own uniqueness. This design is based on the obligation to develop numeracy skills for all citizens according to Law number 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system. In addition, there is also an obligation to understand the number of hijaiyah for Muslim citizens. The research method used uses research development. The development model used is Lee Owens. The concept in this game is like a game in general that uses this type of adventure. In the game there is a mission to solve the problem. The challenge is through hijaiyah figures provided. So this game combines mathematics with hijaiyah numbers in a portable way.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had impact on reproductive health services. Based on data from Basic Health Research in 2018, more than 50% reproductive health services provided by midwives in private midwifery practices. As private midwifery practice was first choice for women to fulfil essential need in reproductive health, it is important to strengthen its quality. Cross-sector collaboration led by Knowledge Hub for Reproductive Health Indonesia has carried out training on reproductive health services during COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the training is building capacity to offer high-quality reproductive health services while at the same time minimizing the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

Abstract

One of the learning innovations developed by Padjadjaran University is a community-based learning method and local potential applied to arts and entrepreneurship courses (OKK). In order to improve the quality of academic services in the learning process it is necessary to analyze student satisfaction. The research design used in this study was a cross sectional study with a total sample of 133 first-degree students selected using the convenience sampling method. Data on satisfaction and expectations were collected through questionnaires and processed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Custumer Satisfaction Index (CSI) which were then analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the IPA analysis, the attributes that enter into quadrant I (top priority) are improvement in creativity and thinking patterns (c2) and understanding of culture, art, and local sports (c6), quadrant II (maintaining achievement), that is caring (c4 ) and the increase in soft skills (c7), quadrant III (low priority), namely the effectiveness of implementation (c1) and the spirit of entrepreneurship (c5), quadrant IV (excessive), namely teamwork (c3). Overall student satisfaction with the seven attributes that affected the implementation of OKK lectures was 74.20%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a project-based electronic student worksheet on the number processing application course for tenth grade and investigate find out teacher's and student's responses to the product. This research and development study using Thiagarajan, Semmel, & Semmel 4D development methods, consisting of define, design, and development stages. Meanwhile, while the dissemination stage has not been carried out because of the limitations. This development aims to produce a project-based e-student worksheet, to analyze the project's development stages, and to analyze the feasibility of the project. This research material has been evaluated and validated by one of the teachers from Ketintang Vocational High School Surabaya and accounting education lecturer, education technology lecturer, and linguistic lecturer from Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The research subjects were tenth-grade accounting students in Ketintang Vocational High School, Surabaya. The data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. Meanwhile, the instrument involved in this study were open-questionnaire and close-questionnaire.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the self-paced learning of international/outbound students, Increase the agility of outbound student, and education-project entrepreneurship especially in National University of Laos (NUOL). This research use action research approach. This research was conducted for international student with 38 students from the Economic and Business faculties at NUOL.  The data technique with On-In-On through a duo approach system, namely online and offline with locations in two countries, Indonesia and Laos with data collection technique in this research uses an unstructured questionnaire. Data processing and analysis techniques use Tabulating. The results of the study show that outbound student can improve self-paced learning by design model learning based Business Model Canvas (BMC) in higher education can implementing design their own business. This design model is effective strategy in synergizing the era of digital system contributions in building independent learning and increasing the entrepreneurial spirit of outbound students who have to survive in higher education.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyzing the relationship between learning motivation and physics learning achievement, emotional intelligence and physics learning achievement, and learning motivation and emotional intelligence with physics learning achievement at SMA Negeri in Singaraja city. The type of this research was ex-post facto with correlation quantitative method. The result of this research was the students’ physics learning achievement which is low and it shows that there are the positive relationship between learning motivation and emotional intelligence with physics learning achievement.

Abstract

Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based questions can train students to develop their reasoning power. Therefore, this study aimed to obtain a HOTS-based test instrument in a feasible computer-based exam on the topic of rotational dynamics and rigid body balance. The research method used in this development research is 4-D, consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The result of this research is the HOTS-based test instrument in a computer-based test that is feasible on the material of rotational dynamics and rigid body balance that meets the validity requirements of material experts and media experts with the lowest V index value of 0.58 and the highest V index value equal to 0.83. The average percentage of the total validation score of material experts obtained were 77.78%, and media experts were 79.44%. Overall, the test instrument has a total media validation score of 78.61%, so that the computer-based HOTS test instrument with testing based on rotational dynamics and rigid body balance is categorized as valid and ready to use.

Abstract

One of the government's commitments to improve the quality of the workforce in Indonesia is to develop vocational education and training through the technopark program. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the technopark program at SMK Negeri 3 Malang.The research method uses a qualitative approach with indicators: efford, cost efficiency, result and impact. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model includes: reduction, display and verification. The results of this study revealed that the implementation of the technopark program at SMK Negeri 3 Malang was quite successful in increasing the number of entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The study aims to find the effect of problem based-learning method (PBL) on students’ critical thinking skills in a physics course at SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. The study is a quasi-experiment study with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was 245 tenth graders majoring in science at SMA 4 Singaraja. The sample of this study was 67 students distributed to two different classes. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and one-way analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). The result of the study shows that there was critical thinking skills gaps between the students using PBL and students using the direct instruction method (DIM). The average score of PBL group had higher average critical thinking skills score (posttest) then the MDI group, in which the scores of PBLM group were in adequate category (M = 54,84; SD = 14,50), meanwhile the scores of DIM group were in low category (M = 43,05; SD = 14,29).
