Abstract

This study explores the relationship between pregnant women's compliance in consuming iron tablets and their hemoglobin levels, focusing on evidence from previous qualitative studies and literature reviews. Iron supplementation is a critical intervention for preventing anemia during pregnancy, which is a major public health concern worldwide, including in Indonesia. Non-compliance in iron tablet consumption is often linked to various factors such as side effects, lack of knowledge, cultural beliefs, and accessibility issues. Through a qualitative literature review approach, this study synthesizes findings from multiple scholarly articles, reports, and case studies to identify patterns, barriers, and facilitators affecting compliance among pregnant women. The review highlights that adherence to iron supplementation positively correlates with improved hemoglobin levels, which is essential for maternal and fetal health. It also underscores the importance of health education, counseling, and community support in enhancing compliance rates. Cultural sensitivity and tailored interventions are critical to addressing misconceptions and improving iron tablet intake. Furthermore, the study discusses the role of healthcare providers and community health centers, such as Pontap Palopo Community Health Center, in monitoring and promoting adherence to iron supplementation programs. The findings suggest that improving compliance requires a multifaceted approach combining education, accessibility, and supportive healthcare systems. This review provides valuable insights for public health practitioners and policymakers aiming to design effective strategies to combat anemia in pregnancy by improving iron tablet compliance. Future research should consider more localized qualitative studies to understand specific community dynamics influencing compliance behaviors.

Abstract

In informal work environments, such as frontline sales promotion, workplace learning often occurs outside formal training channels. However, limited research has examined how knowledge sharing and training transfer affect individual preparedness for real-world work challenges. This study aims to analyze the role of knowledge sharing and training transfer in enhancing learning outcomes and work readiness among sales promoters at PT Unilever in Kendari City. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved 25 participants—22 sales promoters, one supervisor, one coordinator, and one beauty advisor. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s thematic coding technique. The study found that knowledge collecting occurred through informal peer learning and semi-structured supervisor-led sessions, reflecting principles of adult education and social cognitive theory. In contrast, knowledge donating was inconsistent, hindered by emotional disengagement and lack of organizational support. Training transfer was not automatic and required ongoing peer reinforcement, motivation, and contextual alignment to workplace demands. Learning in this setting is relational and emotionally mediated. Embedding counseling-based strategies such as peer mentoring, reflective dialogue, and feedback mechanisms into training programs can enhance individual development and organizational performance. This study contributes to the counseling and vocational education literature by emphasizing the importance of psychosocial support in knowledge transfer and learning continuity within informal employment settings.

Abstract

In increasingly diverse societies, interfaith dialogue plays a crucial role in fostering social tolerance and mutual understanding among different religious and cultural groups. This study employs a qualitative research approach using literature review and library research methods to explore how interfaith dialogue contributes to social cohesion in multicultural communities. By analyzing various scholarly works, reports, and case studies, this research identifies the key factors that enhance or hinder effective interfaith engagement. The findings suggest that interfaith dialogue serves as a bridge to reduce prejudices, correct misconceptions, and build trust between religious communities. Moreover, it fosters a culture of peace by promoting shared values, empathy, and respect for diversity. The study also highlights challenges such as power imbalances, religious fundamentalism, and political manipulation that can obstruct meaningful dialogue. Successful interfaith initiatives often incorporate inclusive participation, open communication, and institutional support to ensure long-term impact. The implications of this study emphasize the need for governments, religious leaders, and civil society to actively support and institutionalize interfaith dialogue as a strategy for preventing religious conflicts and promoting harmonious coexistence. Future research is encouraged to examine the role of digital platforms and social media in expanding interfaith dialogue efforts. Understanding the dynamics of interfaith interactions provides valuable insights for policymakers and community leaders striving to cultivate tolerant, cohesive, and inclusive societies in the face of growing multicultural challenges.

Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a critical aspect of workplace management, ensuring employee well-being and reducing occupational hazards. In recent years, digital communication tools have played a transformative role in enhancing OHS awareness through real-time information sharing, interactive training, and automated hazard detection. This study employs a qualitative research approach using a literature review and library research method to analyze the effectiveness of digital platforms—such as e-learning systems, virtual reality (VR) training, social media, mobile applications, and artificial intelligence (AI)—in promoting workplace safety. The findings indicate that VR-based simulations and AI-driven safety analytics significantly enhance employee training effectiveness and hazard prediction. Additionally, social media and mobile applications facilitate instant safety communication, enabling employees to report incidents and receive timely updates. However, challenges such as digital illiteracy, misinformation, data privacy concerns, and high implementation costs persist, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The study highlights the importance of balancing technology with human oversight to ensure the ethical and practical application of digital OHS tools. Future research should explore the long-term impact of digital safety interventions on behavioral change and workplace accident reduction. This study contributes to the growing discourse on digital transformation in occupational safety, providing insights for organizations, policymakers, and researchers on optimizing digital communication tools for OHS improvements.

Abstract

Access to financing remains a major challenge for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in rural Indonesia. The People's Business Credit (KUR) program is present as a government effort to expand access to financing, but credit performance, especially the collectability level is still a concern. This study aims to analyze the effect of customer compliance on the level of credit collectibility of KUR recipients in Lekopancing Village, Maros Regency. This research used an explanatory quantitative approach with a sample size of 200 respondents taken by simple random sampling from a population of 415 KUR customers. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of AMOS software. The results showed that customer compliance had a positive and significant effect on the level of credit collectibility (standardized coefficient = 0.68; p < 0.001), indicating that the higher the level of compliance, the better the credit quality as reflected in the collectability classification. This finding corroborates the theoretical link between debtor behavior and credit risk management, particularly in the context of rural banking. This study provides an empirical contribution at the micro level that has been under-explored, and emphasizes the importance of improving customer compliance in supporting the sustainability of inclusive financing programs such as KUR. Future research is recommended to explore the application of a mixed-method approach, which combines quantitative and qualitative data, to gain a more thorough understanding of compliance behavior and credit risk.

Abstract

Zakat is a fundamental pillar of Islamic economics, serving as a vital instrument for wealth redistribution and poverty alleviation. Its significance aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 on poverty eradication and SDG 10 on reducing inequality. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining Qur'anic exegesis of Surah At-Tawbah verse 60 with empirical data from Indonesia’s National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) 2024 report. The findings reveal a substantial gap between the national zakat potential, estimated at approximately Rp327 trillion annually, and the actual collection, which stands at only Rp26.13 trillion, representing about 8% realization. Despite this gap, productive zakat programs have demonstrated significant socio-economic impact, increasing MSME incomes by up to 40% over two years and contributing to a 1.76% reduction in poverty rates within targeted communities. The study recommends enhancing zakat collection through digitalization and integrating zakat management with national social protection programs to maximize its effectiveness. These strategies are essential to harnessing zakat’s full potential as a socio-economic tool for inclusive and sustainable development in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the development of Generation Z’s work character through the implementation of the Among Learning System in vocational education. Employing a qualitative research methodology based on library research and literature review, the study critically examines existing theories and practices related to character building, generational characteristics, and innovative learning models within vocational contexts. The Among Learning System, rooted in cultural and communal learning traditions, emphasizes holistic personal development, including ethics, discipline, responsibility, and collaboration—key attributes for preparing Gen Z students for the dynamic world of work. The analysis reveals that integrating culturally grounded learning methods like the Among Learning System effectively nurtures essential work ethics and soft skills among vocational students. This system fosters not only technical competence but also interpersonal and intrapersonal skills that are critical for employability and professional success. Findings from the literature highlight the challenges Gen Z faces in adapting to workplace demands, such as digital distractions, preference for instant gratification, and diverse learning needs. The Among Learning System addresses these challenges by promoting self-regulation, communal responsibility, and reflective practices within the learning environment. This study contributes to vocational education by offering a framework for educators and policymakers to incorporate culturally relevant pedagogies that align with Gen Z’s unique characteristics. It also underscores the importance of character education alongside technical skills development in vocational training to produce well-rounded, resilient graduates ready to meet future workforce challenges. Further empirical research is recommended to validate these theoretical findings and explore the practical implementation of the Among Learning System across diverse vocational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the gymnastics coaching program in Pekanbaru City using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants selected via purposive sampling included KONI officials, coaches, and athletes. Data were analyzed using triangulation to ensure validity. The findings reveal that while the program aligns with local sports policies and continues to operate, several critical challenges hinder its sustainability. In the context dimension, the program lacks long-term strategic planning and regular competition opportunities. From the input perspective, issues include outdated training facilities, insufficient funding, and weak coach regeneration. The process evaluation indicates the absence of systematic performance monitoring and limited coordination among key institutions. Lastly, the product dimension shows that although some athletes have achieved success, the lack of structured regeneration systems jeopardizes long-term outcomes. These results suggest the need for strategic improvements, including increased funding, upgraded infrastructure, structured talent development, and enhanced institutional collaboration. The study contributes a comprehensive, model-based evaluation framework that can inform future efforts in regional sports program development across Indonesia.

Abstract

In advanced stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD), where kidney function has severely declined, renal replacement therapy becomes essential. This scoping review aims to compare the impact of two common dialysis modalities—hemodialysis (HD) and continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD)—on various aspects of patients' quality of life, including physical, emotional, and social dimensions. This review was conducted using the Population and Concept (PC) framework, which is commonly applied in scoping reviews, and followed the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews) guidelines for reporting. A comprehensive literature search was performed across four databases: PubMed, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The search focused on full-text, English-language articles published within the last ten years. Inclusion criteria included studies involving adult CKD patients undergoing HD or CAPD with quality of life as the primary outcome. Studies were excluded if they involved pediatric populations, case reports, or were not peer-reviewed. Nineteen studies met the eligibility criteria and were included in this review. The findings suggest that CAPD therapy is potentially associated with better physical quality of life compared to HD. However, results regarding emotional and social aspects were mixed, with some studies indicating comparable outcomes between modalities, while others showed conflicting results. Further research is warranted, particularly regarding emotional well-being and social support in CAPD patients. While CAPD may offer certain advantages in physical quality of life, comprehensive comparisons across emotional and social domains remain inconclusive. Limitations of this review include the small number of eligible studies, variation in study designs, and heterogeneity in patient populations. These limitations highlight the need for more robust and standardized research in this area.

Abstract

The intention of this study is to enhance the prevailing literature and conceptual framework by investigating the consequence of entrepreneurial approach and relational capability related marketing performance through network advantage. The research follows a empirical approach using a survey method. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select 138 samples of Batik MSMEs in Banjarnegera Regency. The data was obtained through a survey. Data analysis techniques were utilised  employing Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) through the SmartPLS program. The findings from this study demonstrate that entrepreneurial orientation and relational capability each partly have a significant and favourable impact on network advantage. Furthermore, entrepreneurial orientation, relational capability, and network advantage each have a partly positive and significant influence on marketing performance.  The influence of entrepreneurial orientation on marketing performance can be mediated by network advantage, whereas relational capability does not exhibit the same mediating effect.
