Abstract

The digital age has transformed Islamic education, with technology playing a pivotal role in its enhancement. This study investigates how technology has positively influenced Islamic education, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges involved. Technology enables convenient access to Islamic educational materials through applications and e-learning platforms, thereby enhancing interactivity and inclusivity in learning. Moreover, it facilitates dynamic teacher-student interactions unrestricted by geographical boundaries, promoting a globally connected learning community. However, significant challenges need to be addressed. Ensuring the effectiveness and accuracy of content is crucial, as the spread of misinformation can be harmful. Additionally, excessive technology use can lead to reduced face-to-face interaction and dependency on digital devices, disrupting holistic learning experiences. Therefore, thoughtful and well-planned strategies are necessary to integrate technology effectively into Islamic education, ensuring it enhances learning while upholding ethical and spiritual values. This study concludes that, if managed well, technology has great potential to advance Islamic education in the digital era. By addressing the challenges and leveraging the opportunities, technology can enrich Islamic education, making it more accessible and relevant in today's rapidly evolving world.

Abstract

Parenting is defined as the way parents care for, guide and educate their children to achieve optimal independence and development. The importance of parents' knowledge of parenting methods in accordance with Islamic teachings, as well as the negative impact of inappropriate parenting, such as physical and mental abuse. In addition, it is explained that positive parenting, such as democratic parenting, can improve children's social, emotional and intellectual development. The study begins with a background of the problem that identifies the importance of parenting in shaping children's character and behavior. Furthermore, this research outlines the various types of parenting based on the age range of children, as well as the roles and responsibilities of parents in educating children in accordance with Islamic teachings. This research is a type of library research that uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the data collection technique is a literature study, and the data analysis uses the content analysis method. The results show the importance of a deep understanding of parenting and its impact on child development, as well as the need for the application of Islamic educational values in parenting. Through in-depth analysis, the author hopes that this research can provide useful insights for parents and educators in an effort to create a pious and noble generation.

Abstract

Islamic education supervision has an important role in improving the quality of learning and teacher professionalism in accordance with the objectives of Islamic education which focuses on the formation of students' character and knowledge. However, in practice, supervision often does not run optimally due to the lack of systematic planning, effective methods, and limited ongoing evaluation. So that from this research, the Islamic education supervision project can be a strategic solution in improving the quality of the learning process in Islamic educational institutions. From this background, the purpose of this research is to provide an explanation of the Islamic education supervision project. This research is a type of library research (Library Research) that uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques in the form of literature studies, and data analysis using the content analysis method. The results showed that the implementation of a systematic and sustainable Islamic education supervision project was able to improve the quality of educator performance and the effectiveness of the learning process in Islamic educational institutions. And this research also identifies that a collaborative supervision approach based on the real needs of teachers can minimize supervision barriers and strengthen teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Leadership in the context of education plays an important role in creating an effective learning environment. Two leadership models that are often discussed are transformational and transactional leadership. Each model has different characteristics and impacts on productivity and organizational climate. From this background, the purpose of this research is to explain the concepts of transformational and transactional leadership, and analyze their application in educational institutions, especially in the context of Islamic education. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection through literature study. Data were obtained from various sources, both books and online articles, that discuss leadership in education and the challenges faced by both leadership models. The results show that transformational leadership, which focuses on inspiring and developing members' potential, can create an environment conducive to innovation and growth. In contrast, transactional leadership, which is results- and reward-oriented, can cause jealousy among individuals and affect organizational stability. Both leadership models have their own advantages and disadvantages. Leaders in educational institutions need to understand and apply these two models wisely to achieve the expected learning goals and create a positive school environment.

Abstract

Educational supervision is an important element in improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes in educational institutions. This study aims to identify the implementation of educational supervision in supporting the improvement of educators' competence, learning effectiveness and the achievement of educational goals. The research methods used include literature study and empirical analysis of supervision practices at various levels of education. The results show that structured educational supervision based on a collaborative approach can provide constructive feedback, build a positive work culture and improve educators' professionalism. In addition, the role of competent supervisors in providing guidance, monitoring and evaluation has been shown to contribute significantly to improving the overall quality of education. Thus, effective implementation of educational supervision is key in developing a sustainable and high-quality education system.

Abstract

This Journal examines the role of instructional leadership and data-driven decision-making in the context of Islamic education. Instructional leadership emphasizes efforts to improve the quality of teaching through empowering educators, effective supervision, and fostering a conducive learning environment. Decision-making, as a critical element of leadership, is analyzed through internal and external aspects, involving a systematic process to achieve effective and equitable solutions. The paper highlights the importance of school principals as educators, managers, administrators, innovators, and motivators in ensuring educational success. Moreover, decision-making based on Islamic values is emphasized as an approach that prioritizes justice and ethics. This study is grounded in library research using a qualitative descriptive approach to provide theoretical and practical contributions to the management of Islamic education.

Abstract

Educational supervision plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of learning, particularly within the framework of Islamic education, which emphasizes the integration of spiritual values and moral character. The significance of ethics in supervision is becoming increasingly pertinent to ensure that education is not only technical but also in harmony with Islamic principles. This study aims to examine the concept of ethical supervision in Islamic education and analyze its impact on improving educational quality. The primary focus of this research is to investigate how Islamic values, such as sincerity (ikhlas), justice (adil), and trustworthiness (amanah) can be effectively practiced in supervision. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing literature analysis methods. Data were gathered from books, journal articles, and other relevant documents. A descriptive-analytical approach is employed to identify key themes related to ethical supervision in Islamic education. The study finds that ethical supervision grounded in sincerity, justice, and trustworthiness can significantly enhance the effectiveness of supervision. Approaches such as deliberation (musyawarah) and exemplary leadership (keteladanan) are also effective in fostering a supportive educational environment. Islamic supervision plays a crucial role in developing teacher competencies, improving the curriculum, and establishing an Islamic learning environment. The implementation of ethical Islamic supervision can enhance the effectiveness of educational oversight in Islamic contexts. These findings offer new insights into the integration of Islamic values into supervisory practices, thereby supporting the improvement of learning quality and establishing a foundation for further research in this area.

Abstract

Supervisi pendidikan Islam merupakan upaya yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam. Tujuan dari supervisi ini adalah untuk memberikan pembinaan kepada tenaga pendidik agar proses belajar mengajar berjalan efektif dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diinginkan. Melalui supervisi yang baik, diharapkan kualitas pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan, serta pengelolaan pendidikan yang lebih baik, sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip ajaran Islam yang menekankan nilai-nilai keadilan, kebijakan, dan kompetensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran supervisi pendidikan Islam dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dan kualitas pendidikan di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Fokus utama penelitian adalah pada konsep, model, serta dampak supervisi pendidikan Islam terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar peserta didik dan perkembangan profesionalisme tenaga pendidik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi yang diterapkan di lembaga pendidikan Islam dapat meningkatkan kompetensi dan motivasi guru, yang pada gilirannya akan berdampak positif pada hasil pembelajaran siswa. Selain itu, proses supervisi juga memperkuat nilai-nilai moral dan karakter dalam pendidikan, sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam ajaran Islam. Secara keseluruhan, supervisi pendidikan Islam memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemajuan kualitas pendidikan di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Minat, perhatian, komunikasi, partisipasi, dan disiplin merupakan faktor kunci dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana faktor-faktor tersebut saling berkaitan dan mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran agama serta pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kompleksitas minat, perhatian, komunikasi, partisipasi, dan disiplin dalam konteks pembelajaran PAI. Masing-masing faktor memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mendorong motivasi belajar, meningkatkan pemahaman, serta membentuk karakter religius peserta didik. Studi ini mengungkap bagaimana interaksi antara faktor-faktor tersebut dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif dan bermakna. Minat dan perhatian yang tinggi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar PAI, sementara komunikasi yang efektif dan partisipasi aktif dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar. Disiplin sebagai hasil internalisasi nilai-nilai agama berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya mengintegrasikan faktor-faktor tersebut dalam desain pembelajaran PAI untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan agama yang komprehensif.

Abstract

Instructional leadership is one of the key factors in improving the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. This research aims to analyze the challenges of instructional leadership and improvement strategies that can be applied to face the dynamics of modern education. The methods used are case studies and qualitative analysis, with data obtained through literature studies, observations, and group discussions in several Islamic educational institutions. The research results show that the main challenges faced include limited resources and facilities, lack of teacher competence, and difficulties in integrating Islamic values ​​with the national curriculum. The role of instructional leadership is crucial in developing teacher competency through continuous training, effective supervision, and strengthening collaboration with the community. Apart from that, using technology in the learning process is also a strategic solution to overcome limited facilities and improve the quality of teaching.
