Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to produce textbooks based on local content in Kabupaten Tulungagung for grade IV Primary School. Textbooks based on local content can be used as one learning resource in learning. The textbook product is developed based on the steps of the 4-D development model. Validation and test results that have been done, obtained data that is (a) the validation of the student's book reached a percentage of 85.34% with criteria is very valid; (b) the result of the attractiveness test on the student's book reaches 89.44% percentage with very interesting criteria; (c) the results of the practicality test students and teachers reached a percentage of 87.84% with very practical criteria; (d) the effectiveness test results that the learning outcomes have improved by comparing pretest and posttest results.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively and problem solving is the ability that students must have in 21st century. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between creative thinking skills and students' problem solving abilities in environmental change material. The research method used is descriptive correlational method. The research was conducted at High School 4 Bekasi in semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The sample was taken through simple random sampling technique as many as 138 students. The results showed a correlation coefficient between the ability to think creatively with students' problem solving abilities of 0.825. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between the ability to think creatively with students' problem solving skills.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the function of teacher’s motivation speech in SMA Katolik Diponegoro Blitar. The function of speech is divided into three categories, those are the function of fact information exchange, function f emotion exchange, and function of convicing of affecting. These three functions appear when the teacher gives the motivation speech in learning process, especially on Bahasa subject. The existence of those functions in the teacher’s motivation speech shows that in the learning process is not only focus on the material delivery, but also giving motivation from the teacher to students with purposed function.

Abstract

Development research to produce Computer Assisted Instruction interactive media theme "hero" sub-theme "hero is pride" SD IV grade material is valid, interesting, effective, and practical Computer-based learning media can used as alternative in the learning. Media products are developed based the steps of the 4-D development model. The results of validation and trials that have been done, obtained data (a) the results of media validation reached a percentage of 82.5% with very valid criteria; (b) the results of the media attractiveness test reached a percentage of 95.56% with very interesting criteria; (c) the practicality test results of students and teachers reached a percentage of 94.8% with very practical criteria; (d) the results of the effectiveness test that learning outcomes increased by compare the pre-test and post-test results.

Abstract

This reseach was aimed to determine the effect of problem based learning collaborative model on learning satisfaction. This research was conducted at 5th grade in MIN 2 Serang of academic year 2018/2019. The approach of this research was quatitative research Nonequivalent control group design. The results of the study show that there is no effect of the problem-based colourorative model on learning satisfaction of elementary school students.

Abstract

Negative emotion is unpleasant circumstances so affect the attitudes and behavior of individuals in interacting with others. As for the negative emotions are emotions angry, anxious and sad. Of the phenomenon required the efforts of guidance to channel the emotion that is by counselling techniques expressive writting on the students. This research is to know the level of negative emotions of students by using survey data. This research uses data collection inventory, interview equipped observation sheets. As for the subject researches are students in 10 Wretched SMAN. On the results of research counselor counseling application well welcomed by the technique of expressive and showed the attitude of students writting enthusiastic in following counselling techniques expressive writting.

Abstract

This paper to describe about learning process to improve the skills of writing narrative with the help through SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intelectual) learning model and media CD interactive. The learning process is carried out in three stages namely pre writing, writing, and post writing, with involving the whole activities that include somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual by using the media cd interactive. This research use qualitative approach type PTK collaboration. The research conducted in two cycles. The result show everage score of student writing narrative same 59 in the first cycle and increase same to 72 in the second cycle.

Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the differences in concept achievement of students who learn using Thinking maps in Problem Based learning with students who learn to use Problem Based learning and conventional learning. This research is quasi experiment researches with posttest only control group design. The research was conducted in SMAN 1 Singosari on class X academic year 2016/2017. Data collection obtained from concept achievement test. Test to determine the difference between the three treatment classes was done by MANOVA test. The result of the research shows that there is influence of Thinking Maps in Problem Based learning on Concept Achievement of Student. These results are reinforced by the data of M.A.PP.E.R which shows that the higher the level of Thinking Maps made the student’s concepts achievemenis getting better.

Abstract

This research was conducted using quantitative methods. Data analysis of this study was carried out using correlation techniques. The data collection process is done using critical thinking test instruments and test instruments writing editorial texts. The relationship between variables was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between critical thinking skills and the ability to write editorial texts at a significance level of 0,000. That is, one of the determinants of the success of writing editorial texts is that students must have high critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the difficulties of students in understanding the concept of 1 Dimensional motion kinematics. The research subjects were 38 undergraduate students of UNESA Physics Education semester V class A. The research method used a survey using instruments in the form of 20 reasoned multiple choice questions on the topic of Newtonian Mechanics. In this article the discussion is focused on questions number 2 and number 4 because it indicates the difficulties of students in understanding the concept of 1-dimensional kinematics. From the results of the analysis of the reasons for student answers it is known that students experience difficulties, namely, difficulties in distinguishing position, displacement or distance; difficulty interpreting negative acceleration and is always considered a slowdown.
