Abstract

This research was aimed to explore ngudari reribed techniques that have been used to guide students' meaning of life. This study uses the Borg & Gall approach as a method. The technique of reribed itself is a mental counseling technique that aims to release all the problems of one's life. Through stages such as kandha-takon, weruh-ngerti-krasa-dewe, and saiki-kene-ngene-gnawing. If someone has been able to drive reribed, then his life will be doomed from envy and pride. In the end it will feel a happy life, and happiness itself is a factor in achieving someone's meaning of life.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims described the politeness of response to the directive speech in the movie Alangkah Lucunya Negeri Ini. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of social ethnographic research, especially sociopragmatic. The results showed that the politeness response in the movie Alangkah Lucunya Negeri Ini emphasized from the (1) forms, (2) functions, and (3) strategies of speech. Each of that showed the politeness response directive speech.

Abstract

The implementation of character education in school must rest on the ideology of the Pancasila as the noble value of the Indonesian people. Furthermore, the values that are still abstract are translated into wider and more detailed values according to the needs, conditions and environment of the school itself. At the same time, there is a school that develops character education with the term Ta'lim. In it are learned a number of values, including how to respect the teacher, how to learn to easily master the lessons in school, to things that are recommended and prohibited in learning in detail. In other words, Ta'lim is an instrument used by school in trigerring students to have certain characters.

Abstract

This research examines the increase of students’ ability in working with graph. This research is conducted by involving 58 students in class X SMA Negeri 5 Malang as the subjects. Students are given kinematics learning by making models of various representations including graphics. The ability of students are assessed using multiple choice questions in graphic format. The improvement of students’ ability is observed from the average score pretest and posttest. The analysis shows that there is a significant increase (p = 0.00) with the results of the N-Gain calculation of 0.25 including the medium category. Students are able to change the understanding of graph after learning even though the WYSIWYG effect is still very influential on the way students interpretation graph.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui metode pembelajaran silent way berbantuan google talk. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini diterapkan pada siswa kelas XI-IPA1 SMAN 1 Pati semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan dua siklus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan rubrik penilaian speaking. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung frekuensi pengulangan berbicara dengan google talk dan persentase siswa dalam setiap level mulai dari terendah ke tertinggi (very poor sampai excellent). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara dengan indikator keberhasilan yakni penurunan frekuensi pengulangan berbicara dan peningkatan persentase siswa pada level excellent.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the geometry skills of students at Van Hiele's level of analysis. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data is collected through interviews, recording, and student work. The research subjects amounted to 2 students, namely those who reached the level of analysis according to Van Hiele's theory in the 4th grade. The results of this study were students who reached the level of analysis according to Van Hiele's theory were able to do the questions well on visual, verbal, drawing, and applied skills even though they could not be fully completed. As for logic skills, the analysis level students are unable to answer the question correctly.

Abstract

Booklet is one of the learning media developed to complement the implementation of non-formal education, especially for extension activities for farmers. The purpose of this development research is to produce a booklet extension about Nata de Melon. The development model used the Hannafin & Peck development model. The booklet is validated by material expert validator, media expert validator and fruit farmers as respondents for legibility test. Data collection techniques is done through questionnaires and analyzed by qualitative and quantitave. The results showed that validation scores booklet by material expert were 94.40%, media expert 98.26% and readability tests conducted with 10 respondents showed a score of 95.33%. Overall the resulting score shows that the validity criteria is very valid, so the booklet extension about Nata de Melon is suitable to be a learning materials media for the fruit farmers.

Abstract

This research was aimed to produced a new products in the form of storybooks with a focus on Theme 1, namely the Beautifulness of Togetherness in the Subtema of Cultural Diversity in My Country to improve the ability to read and write fourth grade students. The development model used in this study is Dick & Carey. The selection of the development model is based on goal-oriented and results that can be used to create an optimal learning. The Dick & Carey development model has 10 stages in development. In this study only use until the 9th stage, because in this story book does not provide summative evaluation.

Abstract

This research was made to meet the needs of PPKn teaching books in Vocational High Schools using a life-based learning approach. This PPKn book innovation is packaged interactively by using augmented reality and quick reality code (QR-code) technology which are increasingly in demand as educational media in developed and modern countries. This study uses the ADDIE model. The results of the validity test by 9 validators obtained a percentage of material validation of 96.89%, media validation of 92.37% and validation of field learning 97.21%. These three results indicate that the developed textbook is very valid and can be implemented. The effectiveness test was obtained from the results of paired t-tests measured that this textbook was able to improve abilities significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the result of each indicator of creative thinking and communication and to know the difference in creative and communication thinking skills students in the application of Blended Project Based Learning in Data and Computer Networking courses. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods. The research subjects were PTI S1 students of the 2017. The results of the study are as follows most of the frequency of acquisition of indicators of creative thinking and communication, Offering B is higher than class C; the average Offering B has a higher level of creative thinking and communication skills than class C which is 88.20 for creative thinking and 89.51 for communication.
