Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of community participation in organizing education in junior high schools. qualitative approach was used in this research with multi-site study design. Through observation, interviews and documentation to collect data. The results of this study indicate that: (1) participation required: thoughts, energy, facilities and goods owned by the community, (2) elements of community participation: KTBT, parents of students, village institutions, religious leaders, ( 3) in the program to increase participation by analyzing problems, potentials and needs of the community, (4) recognizing the existence of the community, fostering a sense of belonging, trust, including community leaders in every activity and giving freedom to provide input and advice, (5) level community participation from both schools is still at the level of placation, (6) the results and the impact of community participation are felt by the school and the community itself.

Abstract

The purpose of developing e-modules based on this contextual approach is to determine the quality, feasibility, and effectiveness of the developed e-modules. This research uses ADDIE model divided into five stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this study are e-modules based on a contextual approach to the reflex movement, the average overall evaluation criteria are very good, namely media experts by 84%, learning experts by 84%, biology teachers by 69%, small class trials by 80% and large.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the defragmentation process of impulsive student’s thinking structures in solving geometry problems. This research was conducted on two students of 9th grade of SMPN 1 Puncu. The research data were obtained throught the providing of MFFT and problem solving tests. The result of this research showed that the defragmentation of students mistakes in providing initial ideas for problem solving was done throught cognitive conflict, scaffolding, and disequilibration. Defragmentation to form knowledge schemes and bring up schemes that already owned to solve the problems were done throught disequilibration and level 2 of scaffolding (explaining, reviewing, restructuring). Defragmentation to practice students to do reflection was done throught level 1 of scaffolding (environmental provisions).

Abstract

This study aims to produce guidance products that have acceptance criteria. The type of research used is development using the research design of Borg and Gall. The stages used in this research are information gathering, planning, initial field testing, developing the initial product format, product revision, main field testing, and product revision or refining the main field test results. The data obtained in the form of quantitative data with the gregory model interrater agreement. The subjects in the field test consisted of two BK experts, two media experts, and two potential product users. The assessment conducted by the expert refers to the criteria for product acceptance which includes aspects of accuracy, aspects of usability, and aspects of eligibility. Based on the results of the field test the assessment results obtained from BK experts have a validity index of 0.73 which is categorized as "high", the assessment of media experts is 1.00 which is categorized as "very high", and from potential users that is 1.00 which is categorized as "very high ", so it can be concluded that the guidelines developed meet the product acceptance criteria.

Abstract

This research aims to develop digital interactive teaching materials entitled "Ayo Sinau Basa Jawa" (Let's Learn Javanese) for students in grade I in elementary school. The research and development method used is ADDIE. The measures taken in this development research are analysis, design, development, implementation, dan Evaluation. The digital teaching method named Ayo Sinau Basa Jawa is a multimedia based interactive teaching material which provides menu called sinau (learn) and gladhen (practice) inside. The "sinau" material is presented by integrating pictures, sounds, and videos while "gladhen" is given in a form of quizzes. Products developed were validated by three experts according to the aspects assessed, namely aspects of content, language and multimedia. The content validation results obtained a score of 96%, the results of language validation obtained a score of 93%, and the results of multimedia validation scored 93%. The result of this study is that the product is valid, so it is capable of being utilized and is attractive and effective to be used by elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the politeness of the language function in the activities of deliberation in the village of Tarohan. The method used in the form of a recording method in the form of tapping techniques to analyze data. The recording method in the form of tapping technique is used to record data in a clandestine way that is not visible or without the knowledge that will be recorded in the data analysis process. the function of politeness in language lies in stating information, declaring agreements, stating decisions, stating information, expressing congratulations, requesting recognition, asking for information, asking for reasons, asking for opinions, asking for sincerity, ordering, banning, apologizing, and criticizing.

Abstract

Vlog-based ECHA is a learning medium that was developed by adjusting the character and needs of students in sitory subjects. ECHA consists of elaboration, cover song, historycal content, and audio visual. It means that the media elaborates the song that the lyrics have changed with historycal material in the form of audio visual. ECHA media was developed with vlogs to faciltate teacher and student access that can later be used independently. The result of the trial show that this product development is pratical and can increase motivation in class XI IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Sumberpucung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine how the differences students' problem solving abilities between 7-step PBL and conventional methods are reviewed from scientific reasoning ability. Total sample in this study (N) 125 students selected using the convienence sampling technique. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with factorial 2 x 2 research design. Results of the study show that the learning method provides statistical difference in students' problem solving abilities. The average value of problem solving abilities of students who take part in learning using the PBL 7-step method is 60.51. In the conventional class is 51.12.

Abstract

Writing with its complexity might make English language teaching more challenging for most English teachers to help learners facing difficulties in writing. Many students in any research report usually have problems in finding ideas to write and constructing sentences. This study was initially intended to solve those kinds of problem. The integration of writing process with Quantum Learning framework was the strategy implemented in this study. The result showed that the integration of writing process with Quantum Learning framework could make students’ writing better and enable the students to actively participate during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This quasi-experimental research tries to find out the effectiveness of KWL on student’s comprehension of expository text and also observe how effective KWL is on the reading comprehension of the students across reading anxiety level. It is found that the difference in reading comprehension between student taught by using KWL and those taught by using conventional way is significant, the reading activities offered by KWL steps were effective to facilitate students in enhancing their comprehension in reading, and thedifference between students with low reading anxiety and those with high reading anxiety taught by using KWL is significant as well.
