Abstract

This research was aimed to result of Sustainable Reserve Food Garden Program (SRFGP) booklet learning media for ecopesantren students are (1) arrange SRFGP booklet for senior high school students in boading house, (2) to test feasibility of SRFGP booklet trough test the validity by material expert, media expert, and environment practitioner, (3) to test practically of SRFGP booklet trough students responses. Research method is consists of developmental research a model of ADDIE that have 5 phases are Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The result showed that material validation from material expert reaches 67.04% to the category of very valid. Validation results of media expert are 93.30% to the category of very valid. Environment practitioner validated it results 88.33% to the category of very valid, students responses to the booklet in small group trials results 98.82% to the category of very valid. The conclusion of this research SRFGP booklet is feasible and practice to implement for learning media for ecopesantren students in central Lombok.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a module based on research for undergraduate students in Biology Education Mulawarman University. Result of development is a module from design phase and validate by subject expert, instructional media expert, and small group test. Validation result from subject expert is 84,38%, in valid enough category and result from instructional media expert is 94,16% in valid category. Small group test result is 82% in valid ebough category. Validation results in qualitative and quantitative data is used to revised module.

Abstract

Learning Text Reports Observation with Media Video Knowledge has been implemented by one of Indonesion teachers in class in VII SMPN 19 Malang. To knows student responce on learning text reports observation with media video knowledge has been implemented, the student gived Questionnaire. The purpose of the questionnaire is to determine the response of students to the use of video media knowledge in text learning reports the results of observation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative that is describe student response based on answer questionnaire. Based on the questionnaire responses from the four classes taught by the teacher concerned, it can be concluded that more students are claiming that the observational text of the observation report with the video media is good knowledge (B). There are also some minority students who stated quite well (C). The result of student questionnaire answers can be used as a reflection material for teachers to improve the quality of the next learning.

Abstract

A complex sentence is a sentence that has two or more clauses. Those clauses are associated with coordination or subordination markers. The complex sentences is used in composing a short strory especially the short story of fantasy. This research uses descriptive qualitatif method with syntactic analysis design. The results of the research was to bescribe complex sentence form. Based on the number of the closes, complex sentences are classsified by six types, namely (1) complex sentences of two clauses, (2) complex sentences of three clauses, (3) complex sentences of four clauses, (4) complex sentences five clauses, (5) complex sentences six clauses, and (6) complex sentences of seven clauses.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe reference used by junior high school students grade VII. This research is multi sites research with two steps analysis. The first step is descriptive single-site analysis, and the second step is comparative multi-site analysis. Grade VII students of SMPN 25 Purworejo used personal reference -ku, kami, kita, -nya, ia and demonstrative reference di sana, di sini, ke sana, ke sini, itu, and tersebut. On the other side, grade VII students of SMPN 31 Purworejo used personal reference ku, saya, kita, kami, -nya and demonstrative reference di sana, ke sana, itu.

Abstract

This study was a classroom action research which aims to investigate how the implementation of guided discovery learning can improve students’ activeness and attainment in the class VIII of Laboraturium UM Senior High School Malang city. The study subject was Class VIII that consists of 36 students, year 2016/2017. This study consisted of two cycles, and the data was collected from the result of the final test, observation, and interview. Based on the research of cycle I, the students’ activeness with mean scores of the meeting I, II, III was 78.88%, 79%, 86.6% respectively. The students’ activeness on cycle II, the mean scores of analyst meeting V and VI were 89.22% and 92.24% respectively. The result of Mathematics learning was increased, it is shown on the test mean of the cycle I that was achieved by 36 students with the percentage of successful learning 83 %. On the cycle test II, the average of 36 gained 82 (score) with 7.2 increased from the score mean of the cycle I and with classical mastery learning cycle II 88.88%.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop guided inquiry-based learning instruments on environment change material that was based on local coast learning resources that could improve students’ scientific skill and achievement. The learning instruments developed were a syllabus, lesson plans, assessment instruments, and student worksheets. This research employed Borg and Gall’s development model. Expert validation and readability test showed that the products were valid and did not need any revision. The students’ achievement on scientific skill belonged to the categories of good and very good, and their completion achievements were above 75%. Their response belonged to the categories of positive and very positive. As the result, it could be concluded that the learning instruments developed in this research were able to improve the students’ scientific skill and achievement.

Abstract

Aim of this research is to know the effect of project based learning with peer assessment implementation to learning achievements in bio clasification, matter and the change of matter classification concepts. This research used mixed methods with embedded design. The instrument used 10 questions of learning achievements test with reliability score is 0,605 (high level). This research held on November to December 2016 in 7’th class at SMPN 3 Batu. The results of this research showed that PjBL with PA could increase the student’s learning achievements in nature of science (t test = 12,121, p-value 0,000, effect size = 2,110). Based on questionnaires and interviews, the students had positive responses of PBP with PA sustainability to held on the next matter.

Abstract

The development of reading fairy tales as the learning materials need a procedure that should be followed. A good procedure development will help to have a good product. It is good if it fulfill the requirements such as valid, interesting, systematic, and communicative. Those aspects are examined in several steps of procedure development. If the product has already those aspects, it can be examined by applying this in the class room using reading text of fairy tales as the interactive learning materials. The aim of this article is to describe the process of the interactive learning materials development at third grade, elementary school.

Abstract

Problem solving ability is one of competency that must to be achieved by vocational students. This study aimed to describe the problem solving ability of students to the concept of impulse, momentum, and impulse momentum theorem. The study was conducted to 28 students of class XI Light Vehicle Engineering in one of SMK in Blitar in the academic year 2016/2017. The data description of student’s problems solving ability obtained through tests and interviews. Analysis data was performed by analyzing the test results per item answers to questions. The results showed that the students' problem-solving ability is still less than optimal, namely on the indicator determines the strategy, applying strategies and evaluate solutions.
