Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the attitude of religious tolerance of class X students at YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang Senior High School. How religious tolerance is carried out by class X students from various religions and how student tolerance is formed among them. The method used in this research is descriptive research method. This research was conducted at YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang Senior High School in class X. The sample collection technique used the purposive sampling method with the criteria of all students in class X YPI Tunas Bangsa Senior High School, namely 5 non-Muslim students and 5 Muslim students. Data were collected through interviews and direct observation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the attitudes of students at YPI Tunas Bangsa Senior High School are very flexible in the relationship between Muslim students and non-Muslim students; 2) the treatment of students with different religions is the same without any difference, both in terms of mental and learning needs; 3) students respect each other, respect differences, recognize and allow the rights that exist in each religion; 4) students show enthusiasm in building friendships; 5) religious differences do not become a dividing wall between them; 6) Student solidarity is built on tolerance in everyday life at school.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the theoretical approach of input, process and output systems in educational institutions, as an effort to see the quality of educational institutions which are the locomotive in producing a quality generation. The method used in this research is literature review. The results show that the education system is a unit whose parts work together to achieve the expected results based on predetermined needs. Every system must have a purpose, and all activities of all components or parts of it are directed to achieve that goal. Therefore, with the input-process-output education system theory, it is hoped that all educational activities will be more systematic and of higher quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the marketing strategy of educational services in attracting new students at Nurul Yaqin High School in Tanjung Batu. The problems that occur are the time management is not right, the distribution of brochures is not effective, the marketing reach is not wide, and the number of people/parents of students who do not master Information Technology (IT) in the registration of new students. This study uses a qualitative method by using the type of field research field. The informants in this study were the principal, the head of the new student admissions committee, the new student admissions committee, parents, and students. Data collection techniques use the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Technical analysis of data in this study using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study indicate that the marketing strategy of educational services in attracting new students at Nurul Yaqin Tanjung Batu High School, Ogan Ilir Regency can be said to have been going well in terms of the target market strategy of the market segment. Strategy implementation is done by direct socialization. In terms of competitive position strategy, Nurul Yaqin High School has uniqueness and advantages. Meanwhile, in the case of a mixed strategy, the education marketing strategy is well implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the education marketing strategy carried out by the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School, as well as the factors that influence the education marketing strategy at the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School. This research method is in the form of qualitative descriptive, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The key informant in this study was the principal, and the supporting informants were educators, education staff, students, and the community around the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School. The results of this study indicate that the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School has implemented a fairly good educational marketing strategy, several programs and services are offered and can attract public interest and taste, the promotional activities carried out by the school are quite good and a special team has been formed to promote education. Promotional activities carried out by schools include placing banners, distributing brochures, placing advertisements, and outreach to other schools. There is something unique about the promotion at Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School, namely "picking up the ball", in which the school gives a brochure to each student and students distribute it to their respective addresses, if the student succeeds in bringing in a new student, the student will be given a prize. from school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the principal's strategic management in developing a conducive school environment. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative research using a questionnaire instrument with a sample of 20 teachers. The results of the study, namely the management of the principal's strategy for teachers in developing a conducive school environment at SDN 2 Gorontalo were in the good category with an average percentage of around 75.67%. This percentage gain is an accumulation of the dimensions of the principal's planning strategy in developing a conducive school environment which is in the good category with a percentage of 75%, the dimensions of the principal's implementation strategy in developing a conducive school environment are in the good category with a percentage of 77%, and follow-up strategies principals in developing a conducive school environment are in the good category with a percentage of 75%. The position of the principal when acting as the principal is very strategic or supportive to create a school environment. Because, the core element of the organizational environment is the relationship between school personnel, in the role of the principal when he becomes the principal it is stated that he has a function in realizing harmonious human relations to foster and develop cooperation between personnel.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana motivasi belajar siswa SMA Negeri 3 Pare-pare terhadap bidang studi Pendidikan Agama Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru bidang studi melakukan berbagai usaha yang terbagi kepada usaha yang dilakukan di dalam kelas, meliputi pemberian motivasi secara langsung, pemberian tugas, mengumumkan hasil ujian, penerapan metode diskusi kelas, dan tanya jawab tentang materi, serta pembentukan kelompok belajar. Kemudian usaha yang dilakukan di luar kelas yang terkait dengan pengajian rutin, pengaktifan shalat berjamaah, ceramah setelah shalat dhuhur, pesantren kilat, dan peringatan hari besar Islam serta dialog keagamaan setiap tahun. Pada dasarnya, motivasi belajar siswa SMA Negeri 3 Pare-pare cukup tinggi terhadap bidang studi Pendidikan Agama Islam. Ini berdasarkan dengan tes motivasi yang diberikan kepada jumlah responden. Hanya saja, memang masih sangat diperlukan usaha-usaha dari guru bidang studi untuk lebih meningkatkan lagi motivasi yang sudah ada, di samping masih ada sebagian siswa yang harus mendapat perhatian dan dorongan dari guru.

Abstract

Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) diperlukan karena memiliki nilai strategis dalam mendorong terbentuknya national character building. Karakter ini penting guna mencipatakan sebuah kondisi tatanan kewarganegaraan yang baik. Relevansi Pendidikan kewarganegaraan terhadap negara adalah perihal kontribusi bidang pendidikan untuk membangun karakteristik-karakteristik dari seorang, agar mampu melaksanakan tanggung jawabnya sebagai warga negara. Melalui penelusuran kepustakaan, Tulisan ini berupaya Menggambarkan relevansi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam membentuk karakter Generasi Muda. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan tiga komponen utama yang penting dan kemudian menjadi intisari keterkaitan pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam pembentukan karakter. Yakni Pengetahuan kewarganegaraan (civic knowledge), Keterampilan kewarganegaraan (civic skills) dan sikap kewarganegaraan (Civic dispositions). Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan upaya pembinaan karakter generasi muda di semua jenjang pendidikan. Baik pendidikan formal maupun non formal. Selain itu, model pembelajaran yang dilakukan bukan hanya di dalam kelas. Melainkan perlu diperluas di luar komunitas sekolah dan kampus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat implementasi kurikulum Al-Azhar Kairo Mesir di Azhari Islamic School Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Kurikulum di Azhari Islamic School Gorontalo memakai kurikulum al-Azhar Kairo, yakini metode Talaqqi dalam menghafal al-Qur’an, pembelajaran bahasa Arab menggunakan buku dengan pengantar bahasa Arab, pembelajaran Islamic Studies dengan pengantar bahasa Arab yang memiliki fungsi sebagai media belajar membaca al-Qur’an

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat sejauh mana evaluasi pembelajaran daring pada era pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualtatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa a) dukungan kebijakan pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di era pandemi Covid-19 pada sekolah menengah pertama di Kabupaten Gorontalo ditunjukkan dengan adanya regulasi sebagai dasar pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di era pandemi covid-19, b) sumber daya yang tersedia untuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di era pandemi. covid 19 pada sekolah menengah pertama di Kabupaten Gorontalo berupa hardware dan software yang sudah tersedia di sekolah, namun masih ada beberapa sekolah yang belum memiliki fasilitas penunjang yang memadai, c) pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di era covid 19 pandemi pada sekolah menengah pertama yang pertama di Kabupaten Gorontalo sudah dilakukan secara maksimal di beberapa tempat, namun beberapa sekolah masih menerapkan sistem kombinasi karena terkendala masalah jaringan internet yang belum tersedia, d) keberhasilan yang dicapai dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di era pandemi Covid-19 di sekolah menengah pertama se-Kabupaten Gorontalo berada pada kategori baik sehingga hal ini menunjukkan pembelajaran daring yang telah dilaksanakan memberikan hasil yang cukup baik, e) pembelajaran daring tetap berjalan berdampak pada perubahan karakter, pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa pada sekolah menengah pertama di Kabupaten Gorontalo dengan hasil yang cukup memadai. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring di era pandemic covid-19 tetap harus dipadukan dengan model pembelajaran lainnya agar dapat memberikan hasil yang optimal dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas siswa dalam pembelajaran pasca pandemic covid-19.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan publikasi karya tulis ilmiah guru pada jurnal Nasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa berbagai hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam publikasi karya ilmiah yaitu, pertama guru tidak memiliki cukup waktu untuk menulis. Kedua kurangnya kesadaran sehingga menganggap bahwa publikasi karya ilmiah bukan merupakan sesuatu yang penting. Ketiga, guru lebih focus pada perkara mengajar sebagai tanggung jawab utama ketimbang menulis dan publikasi. Keempat, guru kurang memahami dan mengetahui terkait dengan apa dan bagaimana publikasi karya ilmiah. Kelima, guru memang tidak memiliki penelitian, sehingga tidak bisa melakukan publikasi. Selanjutnya, upaya untuk meningkatkan publikasi karya ilmiah yaitu, pertama, memberikan presentasi terkait gambaran umum publikasi karya tulis ilmiah. Kedua, presentasi terkait dengan tema-tema dan sistematika umum anatomi artikel ilmiah. Ketiga, pendampingan terkait dengan penulisan dan tata cara submit artikel di jurnal nasional. Keempat, diskusi tentang problem dan masalah yang ditemui baik saat penulisan ataupun proses submit di jurnal nasional untuk kemudian dicarikan solusi.
