Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the ability of student’s social skills in class XI IPS3 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru through the application cooperative learning SOLO techniques on material impulse, momentum, and collision. The design was pre-experimental with the one-shot case study. The research subject were students of class XI IPS3 that consist of 31 students, 10 male students and 21 female students. Data were obtained from the observastion of student’s social skills. The result of this research showed the improvement of shows in crease the ability of student’s social skills . The improvement occuof through the aplication of cooperative learning SOLO techniques. The increase accurred in every indicators of student’s social skills as: active listening; Pose the questions; Take turn in sharing the task; cooperative (mutual cooperative); and tolerance. The results showed that acquisition value the average percentage for all indicators of student’s social skills in the middle category. Therefore, it can be concluded that aplication of cooperative learning SOLO techniques able to train of student’s social skills in class XI IPS3 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.Keywords: student’s social skill, cooperative learning, SOLO techniques, momentum impulse and collision.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the improve of students learning achievement by using Genius Learning strategy on the topic of the Structure of Atoms and the Periodic Systems of Elements in class X senior high school (SMAN) 14 Pekanbaru. This research was experimental research with pretest-postest design. The sample of this research were students of class X4 as the experimental research and students of class X3 as a control class that has been randomly selected after a test of normally and homogenity test. Experiment class is a class that is applied Genius Learning strategy while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is t-test. Based on analysis of the data obtained tcount> ttable is 2,15>1,67, it is mean that the apllication of Genius Learning strategy can improved students learning achievement on the topic of the Structure of Atoms and the Periodic Systems of Elements in class X senior high school (SMAN) 14 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,72. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,54. Genius Learning strategy can activate the students in learning process to improve the students achievement in learning.Keywords : Learning Achievement, Genius learning, Structure of Atoms and Periodic Systems

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 4 Pekanbaru. Media Chem Puzzle is adapted to the topic of hydrocarbons. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X4 as the experimental class and students of class X7 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is used to media Chem Puzzle while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 3,74>1.67, means that the use of Chem Puzzle can improve student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 4 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,79. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,64.Keywords :Achievement, Chem Puzzle, Hydrocarbons

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to develop are alternative equipment of electromagnetic induction experiment as physics teaching and learning media, resulting in a viable and valid device used as a media of instruction. The object of this research was an experiment equipment consist of experiment tool and guided book. Data was collected by using assessment sheets of validation that has been given to validators, in which 3 validators were lecturers as expert and 2 validators were physics teachers. The data was analyzed descriptively to find index of validity of experiment equipment. We found that experiment equipment validation was 3,78 with the very high category and experiment guided book with validation was 3,74 with the very high category. Based on the data analysis we have been concluded that an experiment equipment of alternative electromagnetic induction as the media in learning physics at SMA can be said valid with the very high category and feasible to be done trial at school.Keyword: Develop, Eksperiment equitment, Electromagnetic Induction.

Abstract

Abstrac : This study aimed to determine what factors are the cause of accounting computer learning difficulties in class XI Accounting student of SMK Nurul Falah Pekanbaru. The study lasted from July to December 2015. The population in this study were all students of class XI Accounting SMK Nurul Falah Pekanbaru totaling 58 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling sample selection based on consideration of the particular destination where consideration is the student who can not do the work according to the schedule at least 3 times totaling 35 students. Data collection instruments used were questionnaires were processed using semantic differential scale with variable depender: learning difficulties (Y); independent variables: internal factors (X1) and external factors (X2). From the results it can be concluded that based on the results of descriptive analysis 89.98% of the students agreed to external factors and 73.16% agree to internal factors so that external factors more influential in causing learning difficulties accounting computer in class XI student of SMK Nurul Falah Accounting Pekanbaru. The same is indicated by the results of the t test where t test result of external factors 2.907> 2.78 t internal factors.Key words : factors, causes, learning difficulties, computer accounting

Abstract: This research aims to understand the intrinsic elements of a short story student of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. This research is using descriptive metods. The populations in this research is all student class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. The sample in this research are 60 student. The technique collecting data is a tes reading a matter of mat with 4 option/alternative. The research concluded that the intrinsic elements of a short story student of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi category low with an average value of 66,66.Keywords: the capacity to understand, the intrinsic elementsof a short story

Abstract

Abstract: Has conducted a descriptive study aims to provide an overview of the scientific attitude of students on the course in the Aquatic Ecology Studies Program Riau University Biology Education Academic Year 2014/2015. The samples were students of Biology Education FKIP Riau University who took a course Aquatic Ecology Academic Year 2014/2015 amounted to 99 people. Parameter research is the scientific attitude indicators: an attitude of curiosity, collaboration, conscientious, honest, critical and responsible attitude. Data was collected using observation sheets, scientific attitude in the four meetings in the course Aquatic Ecology. The results showed that the attitude of scientific curiosity at every meeting is 74.12 - 77.69% to the category of good, conscientious attitude to every meeting is 72.47 - 80.30% with the good category, the attitude of responsibility is 73.23 - 77.78% good category, cooperative attitude of students is 75.51 - 89.65% excellent category, a critical stance is 73.23 - 77.53% categorized as good and honest attitude of students at each meeting is 73.23 - 76.52% with the good category. It can be concluded that the scientific attitude of students with the good category. Keywords :Scientific Attitude, AquaticEcology

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to describe cognitive science in physics learning outcomes of students using whole brain teaching strategy on the issue states of matter and the changes. This study was conducted in SMP 29 Pekanbaru for October-December 2015. The subjects of this research were students of class VII2 as control class with conventional learning numbered 42 students and VII6 as a class experiment with whole brain teaching a total of 42 students. This study is pre-experimental design with static design of two groups. Instrument collecting data in this study is a cognitive performance test consists of 20 multiple choice items. The data collection techniques, by the administration of the test after learning. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis that describe the absorption and effectiveness of learning. The results showed that to improve the absorption of the students after the implementation of whole brains learning strategies are 77,14% students categorized good. So that it is effective to improve the students cognive level and can be useed in science learning especially physich subject.Key Words: The cognitive learning, Joyful Learning, Descriptive Analysis, Learning absorption and effectivity

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase cognitif result in physics learning of the first grade students through conceptual understanding procedures (CUPs) learning model. This research was conducted from November to December 2015 in SMPN 4 Pekanbaru with research subject is class VII10 consist of 36 students as a control group with conventional learning and class VII8 consist of 34 students as a experimental group with conceptual understanding procedures (CUPs) learning model. This research is pre-experimental with Intact Group Comparison Design. Instrument of collecting data in this research is a cognitive achievement test consisting of 15 multiple choice items. The data that collected was analyzed through descriptive and inferensial analyze. The result of descriptive analysis obtained that average absorption and effectiveness of learning in the experimental class is 84% and 73% of control class with high category and effective. The results of inferential analysis through the sign test obtained a value sig.2 tailed < 0,05 (0,00<0,05) which means Ha is accept. It show there is a significant difference between CUPs learning with conventional learning of cognitif result students of the subject matter expansion. Based on data analysis,it can be concluded that implementation of conceptual understanding procedures was able to improve the cognitive result in physics learning of the first grade students of SMPN 4 pekanbaru.Key Words: Cognitive result, Conceptual understanding procedures (CUPs) , Descriptive Analysis and Analysis Inferential

Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to collect data about utilization of medicinalplants the indigenous Rumbio Commnunities from July until August 2015. The resultsare used to developing learning module on the concept of Biological Diversity in theSenior High School Grade X. This study consisted of 2 stage, the first stage is the stageof data collection species of medicinal herbs with survey methods (interviews andobservation). Parameters in this study are the types of medicinal plants in theenvironment of indigenous peoples and utilization of Rumbio Communities. Data wereanalyzed with descriptive methods. The second stage is the development of learningmodule of the first stage of the research results. The second stage development moduleADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) conductedinto 3 stages: analyze, design, development. Results of this study found 73 species of 38families of plants used in traditional medicine in Indigenous Communities Rumbio.Parts of the plant most widely used are the leaves as many as 60 species, habitattraditional medicinal plants are most numerous in the yard as many as 56 species, theefficacy of traditional medicinal plants most, namely to treat gastrointestinal diseases(stomach aches, colds, dysentery, diarrhea and gastritis) as many as 15 species, theprocessing of traditional medicinal plants are most that by boiling as many as 68species, and then how to use traditional medicinal plants are most that by mouth asmuch as 65 species. Results mean learning assessment module validation is valid withthe average assessment is 4.15. Thus, the learning module can be tested on subjects inSenior High School Biology grade X.Keywords: Plant Medicine , Indigenous Rumbio Commnunities, Learning Module.
