Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat membaca cerita jataka di SMA Bhakti Karya Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif jenis asosiatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa beragama Buddha kelas 10, 11, dan 12 di SMA Bhakti Karya Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung yang berjumlah 46 siswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan tidak melakukan pengambilan sampel, sehingga keseluruhan subjek penelitian diteliti. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Instrumen penelitian ini sebelum digunakan dilakukan uji coba terlebih dahulu kepada 24 siswa tetapi bukan pada subjek penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh alat ukur yang valid dan reliabel. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai = 47,409 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 , maka model regresi dapat dipakai untuk memprediksi variabel gerakan literasi sekolah atau dengan kata lain ada pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat membaca cerita jataka.

Abstract

Abstract Indonesia is in seventh place with 1,408,000 cases of early marriage. The West Bandung Child Protection and Family Planning Women's Empowerment Agency (BP3AKB) noted that the rate of early marriage in West Bandung Regency (KBB) is still high, on average in all districts in KBB the rate of early marriage is still in the high category, including Lembang and Padalarang sub-districts. Early marriage is marriage to adolescents under 20 years old who should not be ready to marry. A marriage that is done when a person is not ready physically and mentally has a negative impact. The most experienced impacts were psychological, health, and socio-economic impacts. This early marriage needs to be prevented to reduce the negative impact it produces in society later. One of the efforts to reduce and prevent these negative impacts is by providing targeted education. This research aimed to know the application of premarital education with the audio-visual method, describing the knowledge and perceptions of adolescents before and after education is given and the relationship between changes in knowledge and perceptions of adolescents in Kec. Padalarang Regency. West Bandung after being given premarital education. This research was conducted using the Pre experiment one group pretest-posttest design method with a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was 25 adolescents aged 18-25 years. Based on the results of statistical testing, it is known that there is a change in knowledge (p=0.000) and adolescent perceptions (p=0.000) in Kec. Padalarang Regency. West Bandung, which is significant after being given education about premarital with the audio-visual method. Changes in the average value of adolescent knowledge from 10.16 ± 3.21 to 12.16 ± 1.97. At the same time, the average value of adolescent perceptions was from 53.04 ± 5.09 to 56.48 ± 4.61. Premarital education with audio-visual methods is applied to adolescents in Kec. Padalarang Regency. West Bandung is given in the form of a briefing before teenagers continue to the marriage stage in the form of a YouTube video. This premarital educational material contains six aspects. The aspects conveyed in the video are the foundation of marriage, planning for partner selection, the dynamics of married life, the needs of family life, the continuation of quality generations, and family resilience. Abstract

The library is an integral part of a school, as well as a source of learning and a medium of self-development for students in literacy activities. But in practice, it still has problems, such as a lack of a sincere understanding of the role and function of school libraries in the quality learning process. This study aims to describe the role of libraries as learning resources for elementary school students. In addition to the quality of student literacy at SDN 011 Bangko Bakti, Rokan Hilir Regency. This research uses a descriptive quality approach, with interview techniques to students, library managers, principals, and class teachers. Data analysis techniques used with data collection, data reduction, displaying data and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data, namely by triangulation technique. The results of the study revealed that the role of school libraries as a source of learning for elementary school students has a close relationship between the two, libraries with a good management system tend to influence students' interest in visiting and using the library as a means of learning and also refer to the quality of the impact of literacy. This is studied through the results of interview analysis data and observations.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to develop classical guidance media based on the Lectora Inspire application and determine the level of effectiveness of the media in overcoming bullying behavior in SMP 1 Kaliwungu Kudus. The research is Research and Development (R and D) using ADDIE model that consists of five stages: analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments were observation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, validation sheets, and tests. The feasibility analysis shows that the validation of material obtained an average of 3.93 with a very good category, the validation of media obtained an average of 3.78 with a very good category, and the validation of the user obtained an average of 3.84 with a very good category. The analysis of increased knowledge about bullying of the students shows an average pretest score of 35.05 while the average posttest score of 61.08 with an increase of 74,27 % and the decrease in the level of bullying in students’ behavior from an average value of 95,85 to 56.67 with the decrease of 69,10 %. Based on the results of the T-test that determine the effectiveness of  the media to increase the students' knowledge and the results of the Wilcoxon test that determine the effectiveness of classical guidance to change students’ behavior show that the development of classical guidance media based on the Lectora Inspire application is effective to overcome bullying behavior of the students in SMP 1 Kaliwungu Kudus.Keywords: Bullying, Classical guidance, Media, Lectora inspire

Abstract

Education in schools in the learning process can create quality human resources in keeping up with the times. The implementation of learning requires an effective, creative, and innovative learning model to optimize the learning process by increasing student learning activity, one of which is by applying the Discovery Learning model. The purpose of this study is the application of the Discovery Learning model to increase student learning activity in the class X ecosystem material of SMAN 6 Mataram. This research method uses the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out with the subject of research, namely grade X8 students with a total of 34 even semesters of the 2022/2023 academic year at SMAN 6 Mataram. Data collection techniques use observation sheets with assessment rubrics, field notes and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of learning increased from the average of cycle I of 65% (medium category) to the average of cycle II of 78% (high category). The implementation of learning by inserting games makes students actively learn, dare to answer questions, do assignments and express opinions, so that learning strategies must be applied according to the learning needs and characteristics of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the think pair share type assisted by video media on student learning outcomes in the human digestive system class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kanatang. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. In this case the study chose a nonequivalent control group. The sample design in this study was 26 students of class VIIIC as the control class and 26 students in class VIIIB as the experimental class. The sampling technique. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Kanatang, even semester, Academic year 2021/2022. The research instrument was a written test consisting of 15 pretest questions and 20 posttest questions in the form of multiple choices. The research data were analyzed using statistical tests, namely validity and reliability tests, normality, homogeneity tests, and ti tests (paired sample t tests) using SPSS version 22. Based on the results of the analysis, the average posttest scores of the experimental class students were obtained.  with the cooperative learning model of the think pau share type assisted by video media is 79.73 higher than the class taught using lectures of 68.58.  The results of testing the hypothesis with the parted sample t test obtained sig (2-tailed) <0,05 (0.000 0,05).  This shows that there is a diversion of the cooperative learning model of the think pair share type assisted by video media to student learning outcomes in class VIII human digestive system material at SMP N 2 Kanatang.

Abstract

Initially regarded for entertainment purposes only, games have now evolved as a medium for learning. This research’s purpose is to investigate the effects of playing puzzle games towards leaning mathematics. This research uses the quantitative method through distributing questionnaires with senior high school and university students from Batam City as the target population. Linear regression technique is used for analyzing data. Results from this research indicate the variable challenge, engagement, and skill significantly affect the perceived learning of mathematics. This research concludes that puzzle games need to be challenging, fun, and interesting to increase the perceived learning of mathematics effectively. Skill in playing puzzle games could also improve the perceived learning in mathematics. Hence the players will increase their intuition and logical problem-solving ability.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the difficulty of learning mathematics in terms of students' learning styles. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design with a case study approach. In this study the subjects used were all students of grade IV, totaling six students. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a qualitative approach using the Milles & Huberman model including the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the learning styles obtained by fourth grade students at SD 6 Kandangmas were 1 student with a visual learning style, 3 students with an auditory learning style, and 2 students with a kinesthetic learning style. Students with a visual learning style have difficulty learning mathematics in terms of weaknesses in counting and transferring knowledge, students' difficulties in learning mathematics with an auditory learning style tend to experience difficulties in all indicators, this indicates that students with an auditory learning style experience various difficulties. subject difficulties include aspects of weakness in arithmetic, difficulties in transferring knowledge and errors in visual perception, while students with a kinesthetic learning style experience difficulties in learning mathematics in aspects of weakness in arithmetic and transferring knowledge.

Abstract

The development of education and the transformation of 21st-century learning have influenced the shift in the educational paradigm in preparing learners who are adaptable to the challenges of the times. Unlike other scientific fields, especially sociology, which aims to explore various events or phenomena that emerge in society. Therefore, this article aims to critically examine the transformation of sociology learning through the role of the 4C skills in the 21st century. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach and gathers information through literature review. The research findings indicate that the role of the 4C skills in the 21st century can be considered an alternative in sociology learning, which can be internalized by changing the conventional "teacher-centric" teaching model to a "student-centric" one. The teaching models referred to include project-based learning, problem-based learning, inquiry learning, and discovery learning, by applying Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creative skills.

Abstract

The present study aims to unearth the contribution by Al-Barokah Family Empowerment Service (hereinafter Posdaya) organizers to the promotion of entrepreneurship in the communities and to explore supporting and inhibiting factors of Posdaya project implementation in boosting the entrepreneurial commitment of Sekarwangi Village, Rawamerta District, Karawang Regency. Employing qualitative case study methodology, the research used observation, interview, and documentation techniques to collect the data. Results reveal that the role of the community organizers in general was carried out effectively. This was reflected in Posdaya management of four areas including education, health, economy and environment where learning motivation, healthy living, entrepreneurship and productivity are enhanced. Findings also indicate that the high motivation of the community organizers and residents is the most influential factor supporting the development. While the lack of early childhood educational staff, the lack of educational supports, lack of building capacity; the lack of capital and unorganized administrative accounting; the lack of healthcare providers, and the lack of facilities and infrastructure are the major obstacles to the education, economic, and health empowerment.
