Abstract

The paper seeks to investigate the influences of sociotechnical aspects on young Indonesian consumers' intentions "to engage in sustainable consumption through the sharing economy." A self-reported online survey on ridesharing use among young customers in Indonesia was undertaken. "A total of 251 valid responses" were obtained. "Structural equation modeling" was used to test the research model empirically. The findings revealed that users' intentions "to engage in sustainable consumption through the sharing economy" were significantly predicted by economic benefit, knowledge, technology fit, information quality, and social aspects. This research fills "gaps in the sharing economy literature" by investigating the effects of sociotechnical factors on young Indonesian consumers' "intention to engage in sustainable consumption through the sharing economy." The findings gave practitioners insights into increasing Indonesian young consumers' propensity to engage in sustainable consumption provided by the sharing economy. Keywords: sharing economy, collaborative consumption, sustainable consumption, sociotechnical framework, peer-to-peer ridesharing, Grab, Gojek

Abstract

Miangas' border areas are vulnerable to various violations of territory and sovereignty, as well as law violations. This is why it is necessary to develop border areas to anticipate this vulnerability. The primary objectives of this research are to determine and analyze the influence of security, prosperity, and environmental approaches simultaneously on the development of the Miangas border area. The second is to develop a concept for border area development, applicable to land-sea borders, sea borders, and land borders. The method employed is a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The population and sample for quantitative research consisted of personnel in the local government and military members in Miangas. Meanwhile, the subjects for qualitative research consisted of local government and the army officials in Miangas. Quantitative research results have shown that security, prosperity, and environmental approaches have a critical positive impact on the development of border areas. Furthermore, the qualitative research results obtained from the triangulation of research subjects' opinions regarding the concept of development strategy for the Miangas border area. The results showed the idea of border areas development in Miangas, namely, the border development is carried out in a holistic, comprehensive, integrated border development system based on security, prosperity, and environmental factors thematically and spatially, with measurements for success, namely productivity, efficiency, and community participation through a combination of top-down and bottom-up systems.   Keywords: Miangas, border area development, security, prosperity, environmental

Abstract

Three paradigms enliven the implementation constellation of the welfare state — social democracy paradigm, neo-liberal paradigm, and social investment paradigm — Although they have been tough enough to guide many countries in the world to this point in formulating social policies for the welfare of their citizens, they pay less attention to environmental perspective and local capacity to innovate, particularly in the formulation of family policy.  This paper wants to point out that one of the paradigms mentioned earlier, specifically the social investment paradigm, can be used to strengthen the idea of decentralization and that environmental policy is also a social policy based on proper family policy since social investment aims to overcome new social risks and the needs of post-industrial society; such as seeking solutions for working and family life relationships, single parents, and low or even outdated life skills. The main notion of this viewpoint is that social policy should have productive instead of redistributive potential, which is necessary for economic development and employment growth. Through the concept of life course, the family becomes an irreplaceable unit of the social investment paradigm’s policy because a human’s life course has traditionally always been through a receptacle called family. The social investment policy is about serving and providing the greatest benefits at every stage of the life course however, in the perspective of Indonesia, the social investment approach in social policy has not yet entered the mainstream of the decentralization movement in this country after the reform, though it is realized that decentralization has fostered social capital and civic tradition at the local level. Abstract

In the unpredictable, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) terrain, where institutions must enhance effectiveness, transparency, and agility while navigating regulatory complexity and stakeholder resistance, organizational change has become increasingly significant in the public sector. The exploration of this content remains fragmented and lacks coherent quantitative approaches, despite a considerable amount of study. By tracing the development of exploration, relating to recreating themes, and identifying gaps to suggest an emerging exploration agenda, this study aims to clarify organizational change in the public sector. The study adhered to PRISMA guidelines to conduct a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis, utilizing data from the Scopus database. We examined 169 peer-reviewed papers from 2000 to 2025 using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix to assess author networks, publishing trends, citation performance, and keyword co-occurrence. With the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom being the main contributors and capitals of transnational cooperation, the results show a steady rise in publications since 2006. While prominent studies highlight the significance of regulatory reform, transformational leadership, and operational efficiency, keyword analysis reveals that organizational culture, leadership, communication, and adaptation are critical facilitators of change. The position of transnational collaboration and multidisciplinary involvement in exploration performance is moderate, yet failings persist in addressing non-Western settings and incorporating diverse theoretical frameworks. This exploration advances the theoretical understanding of adaptation in public sector reform, utilizing bibliometric mapping in conjunction with a methodical review methodology, and offers valuable insights for interpreters and policymakers on how to manage organizational change. Cross-regional, multilingual, and multidisciplinary approaches should be the focus of future exploration to support more inclusive and contextually relevant outcomes in public sector transformation.   Keywords: Bibliometric Analysis; Biblioshiny; Organizational Change; Public Sector; VOSviewer

Abstract

This study explores the impact of the Entrepreneurship Education Program on student entrepreneurial resilience, focusing on internal and external factors, the mediating role of entrepreneurial intention, and the moderating effect of self-efficacy. Utilizing quantitative methods and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS, data from 100 students at Universitas Brawijaya revealed significant positive relationships between entrepreneurship education and key indicators, including entrepreneurial interest, innovation capability, resilience, self-concept, and self-efficacy. Results highlight that effective entrepreneurship education enhances students' entrepreneurial attributes and emphasizes the critical role of self-efficacy in boosting entrepreneurial interest. Additionally, the supportive influence of the family environment underscores the importance of a comprehensive approach in fostering entrepreneurial skills. These findings align with existing literature and suggest that educational institutions should focus on both practical and theoretical aspects to prepare students for entrepreneurial success.   Keywords:  Entrepreneurship Education, Entrepreneurial Resilience, Self-efficacy, Innovation Capability, Entrepreneurial intention, Family Environment

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of regional government expenditure, public investment, and labor force participation rate on environmentally oriented economic growth in Malang City. Employing a quantitative explanatory design, the research uses time-series data from 2010 to 2024 and applies multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that government expenditure and public investment have a significant impact on economic growth, whereas the labor force participation rate does not have a statistically significant impact. Moreover, the relationship between economic growth and the Environmental Quality Index (EQI) demonstrates a pattern consistent with the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC), where environmental degradation initially increases but later improves as income and environmental awareness rise. The study also reveals land cover changes due to urban expansion, highlighting the need for stronger spatial planning and the integration of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) to promote sustainable development. The findings provide valuable insights into local policy strategies that strike a balance between economic progress and environmental preservation.   Keywords: economic growth, environmental quality, government expenditure, investment, EKC

Abstract

Stunting hurts the physical growth of toddlers. Several contributing factors to stunting include nutritional aspects, exclusive breastfeeding practices, educational levels, maternal knowledge, and a history of low birth weight (BBLR). Efforts to support adequate dietary intake for children require mothers' capabilities in providing caregiving and ensuring a healthy family environment's sanitation. To enhance the handling of stunting, the Indonesian government issued Presidential Regulation No. 72 of 2021, titled "Accelerating the Reduction of Stunting." This regulation emphasizes a holistic, integrative, and quality approach through coordination, synergy, and synchronization among stakeholders. From 2018 to the present, Bojonegoro has recorded a decline in stunting rates. In 2018, the prevalence of stunting was 8.76% (6,941 toddlers), which then decreased to 7.45% (5,868 toddlers) in 2019. The stunting rate continued to decrease in 2020 to 6.84% (5,192 toddlers) and in 2021 to 5.71% (4,277 toddlers). In February 2022, the stunting rate was noted to have further decreased to 5.21% (3,804 toddlers). The latest data from August 2022, based on baby weighing results, recorded 74,626 toddlers with a stunting prevalence of 2,225, or 2.97%. This research aims to plan efforts to accelerate the reduction of stunting rates.   Keywords: strategy, stunting, toddler
