Abstract

This study examines how Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) and Digital Leadership influence Innovation Culture, Digital Transformation, and Workforce Agility in the oil and gas sector in Balikpapan City, Indonesia. Using data from 300 respondents from various oil and gas companies, the analysis was conducted using SmartPLS to test direct and indirect (mediation) effects. The implication of this study is that oil and gas companies in Balikpapan should prioritise the development of digital leadership and environmentally friendly HR practices along with the formation of an innovation culture to accelerate digital transformation and increase workforce agility. Criticisms of this study include the limitations of cross-sectional samples and self-reported data, so further studies are recommended using longitudinal designs or triangulated data.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of psycho-social factors (e.g., trust, family financial socialization) and cognitive factors (e.g., financial literacy) on financial risk tolerance and consumer financial behavior. It also investigates financial risk tolerance as a mediator on specific pathways (especially trust and family financial socialization) as well as emotional intelligence as a moderator that influences the power of financial literacy influence on risk tolerance and behavior. Using a survey of 349 respondents who were deliberately sampled to test a series of hypotheses, the data was analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Results showed trust and family socialization significantly affected risk tolerance, while financial literacy, threats, deliberative thinking, and optimism did not. Financial literacy, family socialization, and risk tolerance directly affect behavior. Risk tolerance mediates the effects of trust and socialization on behavior, and emotional intelligence moderates (in a negative direction) the impact of literacy.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of competency, accountability, and time budget pressure on audit quality at Public Accounting Firms in East Jakarta. The population consists of auditors working in these firms. Using convenience sampling, 100 respondents were selected from 11 firms. Primary data was collected via questionnaires. The analysis employed structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software, a novelty compared to previous studies that used SPSS. Results indicate that competency, accountability, and time budget pressure positively affect audit quality. These factors significantly impact the audit process and outcomes. Auditors should continually enhance their skills and accountability to maintain high standards. This study highlights the importance of managing time pressures effectively to ensure reliable audits, contributing to improved practices in the accounting profession.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of green supply chain management and green dynamic capability on business sustainability through green innovation. It contributes by integrating the resource-based view and dynamic capability theory to explain how green innovation converts organizational resources and capabilities into sustainable outcomes in MSMEs. Using a quantitative design, data were collected from 161 batik MSME owners in Yogyakarta, Indonesia through purposive sampling and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that green supply chain management does not directly affect business sustainability, whereas green dynamic capability has a significant positive effect. Both green supply chain management and green dynamic capability significantly promote green innovation, which subsequently improves business sustainability. Green innovation fully mediates the effect of green supply chain management and partially mediates the effect of green dynamic capability on business sustainability. Managers should strengthen green innovation capabilities to translate environmental practices and adaptive capabilities into sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

Regional disparities in labor productivity across Indonesia reflect differences in how provincial systems build, mobilize, reward, and retain workforce capacity. This study examines labor productivity as an outcome of regional human resource architecture shaped by two managerial levers: capability formation and compensation design. Using publicly available 2024 data from Badan Pusat Statistik and the Ministry of Manpower for 38 Indonesian provinces, the study uses the Human Development Index as a proxy for workforce capability and the Provincial Minimum Wage as a proxy for compensation governance. Two ordinary least squares models, linear and log-linear, estimate their association with labor productivity. The indicators jointly explain 55.2% of cross-provincial variation, with both effects significant at p < 0.001. Robustness checks confirm that the findings are not driven by extreme cases. The study contributes a managerial typology of provincial productivity systems: dual deficit, untapped potential, compensation without depth, and integrated systems.

Abstract

This study addresses a gap in FLPP scholarship by shifting evaluation from fiscal absorption and housing-unit realization toward the public management of subsidized housing investment. Using the CIPP framework as an analytical lens, the study examines policy coherence, resource adequacy, implementation control, and socio-economic outcomes. A qualitative case study was conducted through 28 in-depth interviews with officials from the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas, BP Tapera, KPPN Investasi, implementing banks, developers, and low-income beneficiaries across seven purposively selected provinces, supported by document analysis and secondary-data triangulation. The findings show that FLPP contributes to backlog reduction, regional economic multipliers, asset formation for low-income households, and social stability. Its effectiveness, however, is constrained by regulatory fragmentation, quota ambiguity, exclusionary screening mechanisms, and weak infrastructure coordination. The study contributes by positioning FLPP effectiveness as a question of administrative capacity, implementation governance, interagency coordination, accountability, and equitable service delivery.

Abstract

Indonesia’s population is dominated by Generation Z, making this cohort strategic for the development of digital Islamic banking services. This study aims to examine the effects of social influence and facilitating conditions on the intention to use digital Islamic banking services among Generation Z in Tangerang City and Regency. Using a quantitative comparative approach, data were collected from 247 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM. The results indicate that social influence and facilitating conditions have a significant effect on behavioral intention, which subsequently influences actual use behavior. Moreover, notable regional differences were identified between urban and rural areas. By incorporating the maqasid al-shariah perspective, this study emphasizes ethical values such as trust (amanah), cooperation (ta’awun), and ease (taysir) in enhancing technology acceptance. These findings contribute to the Islamic fintech literature by providing comparative insights into Gen Z digital Islamic banking adoption in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of business resilience among MSME entrepreneurs with disabilities in Denpasar City, Indonesia by focusing on community support and training, with digital marketing adoption as a mediating variable. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on niche data from 60 disabled entrepreneurs, the results indicate that community support and training significantly enhance business resilience and encourage digital marketing adoption. However, digital marketing adoption does not significantly mediate the relationship between training and business resilience, suggesting a disconnect between digital skill development and its effective application in competitive markets. The findings underscore the importance of social capital and capacity-building interventions in promoting inclusive entrepreneurship and sustainable business resilience among disabled entrepreneurs. This study presents a fresh enquiry to the entrepreneurial conversation, despite data limitation.

Abstract

The delivery service industry is dominated by a masculine culture that hinders women's leadership through gender stereotypes, stigmatization, and patriarchal organizational structures. This study aims to reveal the construction of women's leadership meanings, employee acceptance, and their navigation strategies at PT XPS-LINK, Bali, Indonesia. A qualitative method with a critical paradigm was employed, involving in-depth semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and critical thematic analysis for data triangulation. Findings indicate that women's leadership is negatively constructed via labels like bossy or nagging, double evaluative standards, double bind dilemmas between assertiveness and empathy, and hegemonic masculinity in organizational practices. Nevertheless, female leaders negotiate legitimacy through relational communication. The conclusion states that women's leadership is a discursive arena fraught with gender power tensions, urging organizations to foster inclusive cultures for equal symbolic legitimacy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of search cues and evaluation cues on purchase intention, with emotional engagement as a mediating variable, specifically within Indonesia’s mid-range women’s fashion market on TikTok Live. Using a quantitative causal approach, data were collected via questionnaires from 250 TikTok Live users who engage with mid-range brands such as This Is April, Ecinos, and ShopatVelvet. Data analysis was performed using SEM-PLS. The results indicate that all search cues (streamer attractiveness and co-viewer involvement) and evaluation cues (social pricing and substitutability of personal examination) have a positive and significant effect on emotional engagement. Furthermore, emotional engagement was found to positively influence purchase intention and serve as a partial mediator in the relationship between all independent variables and purchase intention. These findings suggest that enhancing interactive elements and emotional connections during live sessions can significantly optimize digital marketing strategies and drive buying interest.
