Abstract

Soil landslide is one of the most common in the field of Geotechnical due to increased shear stress of a soil mass or decrease in shear strength of the soil mass. In other words, the shear strength of the soil mass is not able to bear the burden of work going on. Disruption to the stability of the slope can be caused by various human activities and natural conditions. Unstable slopes is dangerous to the surrounding environment, therefore slope stability analysis is needed. In this case the condition of Padang Tambak – Liwa street KM.227+400 Lampung Barat experience landslide up the road. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the value of the safety factor and to plan the dimension and stability of sheet pile to the landslide on Padang Tambak – Liwa street KM.227+400 using the Plaxis v.8.2 of computer program. The result of this study obtained the value of safety factor at the initial condition of 0,7106, with displacement of 12,71 x 103 m. The handling of reinforcement slopes of sheet pile profiles of type OT26 U profile which is placed at 2,5 meters from the middle of the highway with a size of 12 meters and then replace the soil layer 1 on the outside of the sheet pile into a slope-like slope soil and reduce the slope to 32° level obtained factor value safety at 1,1532, with displacement of 145,88 x 10-3 m. Handling by reinforcing sheet pile profiles of type OT26 U profile in this condition was considered safe because it met the requirement of safety factor value and had a small displacement value.Keywords: slope stability, safety factor, plaxis, sheet pile, displacement.

Abstract

Soil permeability value for every construction is different. Such differences affect the strength of acivil construction to be built. Therefore it is necessary to attempt to manipulate the soilpermeability value by adding the additive to a soil permeability values obtained in order to meetthe standard of civil construction to be built. Among the many additives are used as soilstabilization materials, one of them is rice husk ash. Some recent researches in the field of CivilEngineering showed that rice husk ash mixture useful as a particularly clay soil stabilization.Because rice husk ash can fill the cavities that exist between the grains of ground.Soil samples tested in this study is clay derived from Perumahan Bhayangkara, KelurahanBeringin Jaya, Kecamatan Kemiling, Bandar Lampung. Rice husk ash used were obtained fromDusun Dantar, Kecamatan Padang Cermin, Kabupaten Pesawaran. This study was conducted todetermine the effect of rice husk ash to the soil permeability values.The results of analysis and calculations performed in the laboratory obtained averagepermeability value (k) for soil with 5% rice husk ash added, 10% rice husk ash added, and 15%rice husk ash added. The permeability value used to be compared with native soil (clay).Key words: clay, rice husk ash, permeability.

Abstract

Kota Bandar Lampung merupakan suatu pusat kegiatan yang berfungsi sebagai pelayanan jasa,produksi, distribusi barang serta menjadi pintu masuk atau simpul transportasi bagi wilayah sekitarnya.  Dengan adanya pergerakan tersebut, maka diperlukan sistem transportasi yang memadai. Hal ini menyebabkan bertambahnya moda transportasi dan memberikan efek negatif yaitu adanya kemacetan lalu lintas.   Kemacetan ini menimbulkan banyak kerugian diantaranya dari aspek waktu, finansial serta aspek kesehatan.            Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa besar kerugian yang dialami oleh masyarakat saat terjadi kemacetan di Jalan Raden Intan, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman dan Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro dengan data yang dibutuhkan adalah data sekunder meliputi penjualan SPBU selama 1 minggu dan data primer meliputi waktu tempuh, waktu tundaan, kecepatan rata-rata, waktu tempuh per 1 liter bensin dan volume kendaraan dengan kendaraan yang ditinjau adalah mobil pribadi.            Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa jenis BBM yang tertinggi adalah premium dengan nilai kerugian sebesar Rp. 1.842.346.532,- untuk Jalan Raden Intan, Rp. 468.853.424,- untuk Jalan Jenderal Sudirman arah Tanjung Karang – Pahoman dan Rp. 563.521.400,- untuk arah Pahoman – Tanjung Karang, Rp. 591.757.412,- untuk Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro arah Tanjung Karang – Teluk Betung dan Rp. 668.644.080,- untuk arah Teluk Betung – Tanjung Karang selama 1 tahun. Kata kunci : Kerugian, Tundaan, Jenis Bahan Bakar Minyak

Abstract

Dalam rangka peningkatan produktivitas kebun tebu di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara 7 Unit Usaha Bunga Mayang, Kabupaten Lampung Utara, dilakukan revitalisasi puluhan embung untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air irigasi tanaman tebu.Perhitungan – perhitungan yang dilakukan dalam perencananaan embung ini meliputi analisa kapasitas tampungan menggunakan lengkung kapasitas, perhitungan curah hujan rencana menggunakan metode Log Pearson Tipe III, debit rencana menggunakan metode Rasional, analisa spillway, analisa tubuh embung, serta analisa kestabilan tubuh embung terhadap longsor.Dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh kapasitas tampungan sebesar 37224,24 m3, curah hujan rencana periode ulang 25 tahun sebesar 121,2384 mm, debit rencana periode ulang 25 tahun sebesar 1,89 m3/detik, mercu spillway menggunakan mercu Ogee Tipe I dengan elevasi mercu pada +42,5 dan elevasi muka air banjir pada +42,70. Tubuh bendungan menggunakan urugan tanah dengan kemiringan hulu 1 : 3 dan hilir tubuh embung adalah 1 : 2,25, elevasi puncak berada pada +44,0 dan elevasi dasar berada pada + 36,0. Tinggi jagaan tubuh embung dipakai sebesar 1,50 meter. Tubuh embung dan spillway dinyatakan aman terhadap gaya – gaya yang terjadi.

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence the fraction of clay in the sand by comparing parameters ofstrong shear soil that is resulted from unsoaked and soaked conditions of Direct Shear Test andAtterberg Limit. An increase in the fraction of clay in the sand can change the physical propertiesof the soil and the mechanical properties. An increase in the fraction of clay can also improve thevalue soil cohesion and ground plasticity index but it reduces the value soil friction. Theparameter change magnitude is analyzed by looking at the results of correlation analysis ofcohesion of the soil plasticity index, and some of the physical parameters of the soil. Thecorrelation between the shear test directly with the plasticity index against the physical propertiesof soil clays that linear regression obtained a very strong correlation (0.8 – 1) and limit land thatis used are sand which is already substituted by clays from 0% – 50%.Direct shear test which results from the condition of unsoaked conducted in the laboratoryobtained that addition levels of clay showed an increase in the value of cohesion but the angleshear declined. Direct shear test results from the condition of soaked (soaking 4 days) obtained adecrease of the value of cohesion (c) down and slide angle (φ) which is also affected by soakingthe soil. The test results show the Atterberg limits that a percentage of the original soil andaddition of clays to 20% has no plasticity index value. This is because the ground is still are off(loose soil). As for the addition of clays from the percentage of 30%, 40%, and 50% of the land isincluded soil cohesive and value each PI is 8.87%, 17.7%, and 12.04%.Keywords: direct shear, cohesion, plasticity index

Abstract

One of the causes of construction failure on asphalt pavement is segregation. Which  is the separation of small and large aggregate grains within a mixture, so that in a part of the coating of the pavement will be concentrated aggregate coarse and in other part will be concentrated fine aggregate. One of the factors causing segregation is the hauling distance from Asphalt Mixing Plant to the slap location. To understand this, task a study on the impact of the transport process on segregation on hot asphalt mixture from Asphalt Mixing Plant to the location of the spread. The mixture used is the Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course type or the laston coated wear of Asphalt Mixing Plant PT. Gigging Polah Raya for work location which is 28.9 km on Jalan Sultan Agung, Bandar Lampung, Lampung and PT. Rindang Tigasatu Pratama for work location located 53.3 km on Jalan Teuku Cik Ditiro, Bandar Lampung, Lampung. Examination of sample is done trough extraction test and sieve analysis test. From the result of the research, it’s found that there is being segregation during the transport of asphalt mix mixture from Asphalt Mixing Plant to the slap location. For sample PT. Manggung Polah Raya, gradation aggregate is still within the upper and lower limits of the general specification Bina Marga 2010. As for the sample of PT. Rindang Tigasatu Pratama, the aggregate gradation is out of the upper and lower limits of the general specification of Bina Marga 2010. Factors affecting segregation are haulage distances and aggregate density. Keywords: Road Pavement, Asphalt Concrete, Segregation.

Abstract

In this study used raw material such as silt and clay soil with a mixture of lime additive which has a variety of levels of 5%, 10%, and 15% as well as with a variety of curing time for 7 days, 14 days and 28 days.The purpose of this study to increase the compressive strength of silt and clay soil free them. Soil samples tested in this study represents silt soil from the village Yosomulyo, East Metro District, Metro City, while the clay is derived from Rawa Sragi, Jabung District, East Lampung regency.After doing research, from the third level, the compressive strength maximum free of silt and clay soil found in the levels of 15% with 28 days curing time. This is due to the greater levels of lime and the longer the curing time, the greater the unconfined compression value.Keywords: Clay Soil, Silt Soil, Unconfined Compression, lime.

Abstract

In this research the reseacher used the worst material of soil with additive materials named theash of bagasse in purpose to utilize the waste and to increase the strength of the bricks so that itcan produce cheap bricks with good quality that can be an alternative for bricks industries.Soil samples were tested in this study is derived from the silt soil region Nyunyai road,Kec.Rajabasa. Variations in the levels of the mixture used is 6%, 8%, 10%, and 12% and dryingfor 7 days, with burning treatment and without burning treatment. Based on the results of physicalexamination native land, USCS classify soil samples as fine-grained soil and belong to the CLgroup.The results showed that the brick-making post-combustion using zeolite mixture meets theIndonesian National Standard (SNI) bricks for building materials. In general, the addition ofzeolite material in the soil reduces the value of the density of the soil mixture. For the compressivestrength of bricks without combustion and combustion processes are best shown in the addition ofa mixture of 10%-12%.Keywords: Bricks, silt soil, zeolite, compressive strength

Abstract

Planning a mode of transport could be done in order to know the extent of the effectiveness of the movement of people and goods or use the train through the route of Tanjung Karang - Radin Inten II Airport. In addition, the plan is also aims to reduce the obstacles that often complained by users of transport from Tanjung karang - Radin Inten II Airport which using moda transportation right now. In this study the method used is statistics descriptive, to find utility board based on what’s the way of work or business, a social visit, school, and leisure. Of all respondents filled out the questionnaire, there are 258 (71,67%) of respondents from Bandar Lampung and 102 (28,33%) of respondents came from out Bandar Lampung. It showed that the demand of transport air that comes from Bandar Lampung is higher compared to the number of out Bandar Lampung. The survey also said as many as 86,12% of respondents from Bandar Lampung interest to switch to moda transportation. Keyword: Train, airport train, train schedule, gapeka.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe soil layer is the bottom layer that has function to forward the load from construction on it. But not always the basic soil layer is able has function properly as the bearing capacity. The soil stabilization method with lime additive is an alternative that can be used in planning on a unstable soil construction. The aim of this research is to know the physical characters of clay soil in Sidodadi Asri area, Jati Agung subdistrict, South Lampung regency and the type of silt soil in Yosomulyo area, East Metro District, Metro City. And also to know the increase of the bearing capacity of both types of soil with variation of curing time of 7, 14 and 28 days. From the result of the physical character research and mechanical of original soil samples obtained so it can be concluded that land taken from Sidodadi Asri village classified as clay with high plasticity, while the soil from yosomulyo village is clay with low plasticity. And on the CBR test in the ideal soaking conditions with ideal lime content showed that the increase of CBR value in each soil type along with the increase of the curing duration of 2.8%, 4%, 6.4% and 10.2% in clay and 2, 2%, 3%, 3.6% and 6% in silt soils. This suggests that the ideal lime composite in addition to the curing duration gives a positive effect to increase bearing capacity soil or CBR value. Keywords: Lime, Stabilization, Clay and Silt Soil, Soaked CBR.
