<![CDATA[A digital database of agricultural commodities is indispensable in the 4.0 and social revolution eras of 5.0. The creation of a mangosteen agricultural information system at the Bina Mandiri farmer group is vital to support the sustainability of farming activities in preparation for future export administration. This dissemination was carried out in collaboration with members of the Bina Mandiri farmer group, Nyiurbaye Gawah hamlet, Batu Mekar village, West Lombok district. The purpose of this activity is assistance in digitizing mangosteen trees in making digital maps of mangosteen distribution in the Bina Mandiri farmer group. The implementation of this activity includes: socializing the importance of digital data, collecting primary data and creating a mangosteen agriculture information system that can be connected to a WebGIS page. The result of this activity is the transfer of knowledge and technology of mangosteen mapping to the Bina Mandiri farmer group. In addition, the Bina Mandiri farmer group has digital data related to land and mangosteen trees so that it can be useful for sustainable management and utilization of the remaining space on land for planting mangosteen trees and knowledge of spacing errors that have occurred in the practice of planting mangosteen.]]>

<![CDATA[Jelantah is the used cooking oil. After being used more than three times for frying, the oil will be oxidized by ambient air, and dangerous free radical compounds are formed. Consuming of jelantah in certain amounts, can trigger diseases such as blockage of blood vessels, cancer and nervous disorders. In addition, jelantah discharged into the drains will cause blockage of drains and kill water ecosystems. However, jelantah can be used as an energy source and other products that have economic value. The purpose of this activity is to provide education for groups of housewives in Babakan Gang Salak, Petir Village, Bogor Regency regarding the dangers and benefits of jelantah, introducing simple technology of biodiesel production. The methods used include questionnaires, training and monitoring. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd trainings were held with different participants in the same location. The the participants’ enthusiasm and local site leaders was very high and they wished training for a wider range of participants. The training has been conducted successfully, which was showed that most of the participants could increase their skills and knowledge about the dangers and benefits of jelantah is biodiesel production. This knowledge is supposed to be applied in everyday life by not consuming jelantah for frying food, but it is used as a raw material for biodiesel production.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills for prospective entrepreneurs affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic in qualified hydroponic cultivation techniques. The method of implementing the activity is in the form of indoor training on the concepts and techniques of hydroponic cultivation. In addition, outdoor technical guidance is also carried out regarding the construction of hydroponic installations and cultivation practices, starting from making nutrition, sowing seeds, planting to harvesting. The method of field visits to successful hydroponic entrepreneurs is also carried out. Participants can properly follow the training materials and technical guidance on assembling installations and practicing hydroponic cultivation. The benefits and level of satisfaction of participants in participating in this activity reached a score of 8.75. This activity increases the interest of the training participants for hydroponic entrepreneurship. The condition of the harvested plants has not yielded the expected results, with yields still around 50% of the achievable potential. To ensure the sustainability of the activity and have a wider impact, the Konda Village Party should facilitate so that the participants of this activity can become tutors for other people who want to do hydroponic entrepreneurship.]]>

<![CDATA[The Ngudi Tani farmer group is one of the farmer groups in Bobosan Village, North Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. The rice fields in the Bobosan village area have irrigation system and the water is always available throughout the year, however rice farming has not been applied environmentally friendly agricultural system yet. Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) of urine rabbit with quince bengal fruit could apply as substitution of fertilizer and pesticide synthetics.The purpose of this service activity was to increase understanding and knowledge about organic farming systems with the application of LOF in lowland rice and how to make rabbit urine LOF. Methods of activities were carried out through counseling and training related to LOF application in rice fields and makes use of rabbit urine LOF. The rice field plot was focused on the appropriate way of working and techniques in supporting rice production through the application of rabbit urine LOF. Counseling, training, demonstration plots and rabbit livestock introduction is successful even though not to all members of the farmer groups. The knowledge and skills of farmers have increased regarding rabbit livestock and processing of urine into liquid organic fertilizer and its application to lowland rice. The introduction of rabbit urine LOF in lowland rice cultivation has been responded positively by some members of farmer groups and farmers have understood the procedure for processing rabbit urine waste into liquid organic fertilizer and its application in rice plants.]]>

<![CDATA[Marketing of palm sugar products in District of Lima Puluh Kota is still managed traditionally, rarely use online marketing. Product marketing of Gusereen still relies on word of mouth and the limited use of groups on social media. This training activity aims to provide knowledge on how to make imooji digital brochures to increase promotion and sales of Gusereen products. The collection of data and information is conducted by observing and interviewing the needs and situations experienced by partners, business processes and obstacles faced. Training method is using the PLA (Participatory Learning and Action) method. Exposure of lesson materials to partners is conducted by providing information on the use of imooji, the choice of packages provided, and how to use imooji. Participants get lesson learn and guidance through the direct practices of using the application. The training practices carried out include 1) How to log in and register as a new user; 2) How to use the imooji user interface; 3) Choose a preferred and suitable template for Gusereen products; 4) Upload photos of the products; 5) Change text or product images; 6) Save and preview the created imooji; and 7) Publish or share imooji on social media. This training succeeded in increasing participants' knowledge by 45% from pre-test to post-test. Participants benefit from the training provided and 87% of participants understand the material provided. This training is expected to be the beginning of the transfer of knowledge and information to the palm sugar business community, especially for palm sugar business actors in Labuah Gunuang.]]>

<![CDATA[The role of mothers is very important in increasing the consumption of fish protein for toddlers and children. Consumption of fish protein is very useful for maintaining health, accelerating growth and development of children, and increasing intelligence. The aim of this program is to provide knowledge and train skills in making biscuits rich in fish protein fortified with nilem fish meat flour to Posyandu women as the target audience in Cileles Village, Jatinangor Subdistrict, Sumedang District. This activity lasts for seven months, from May to December 2020. The methods used training in making fish potein – rich biscuit. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that posyandu caders have been knowledge and skills in making fish protein-rich biscuits fortified with nilem fish meat flour. Organoleptically produced products are preferred by panelis.]]>

<![CDATA[Every year waste production has increased because of human population growth in Indonesia. The most waste component is organic waste, which contributes a negative impact on the environment and human health. This situation is also discovered in the Babakan Sub-village, Binong, Tangerang District. The awareness of the society related to waste management is needed to improve due to the garbage in this village is not managed properly. Moreover, a high frequency of flooding has happened in this area during the rainy season. To deal with this problem, the community service team of Pelita Harapan University introduced a biopori system and organized a workshop to produce liquid organic fertilizer. The purpose of this activity was to raise awareness of waste management in the society of Babakan related to waste management and environmental health. The method used was the field observation and community education that was counseling and workshop. The service had been going great and the society of Babakan village, Tangerang, gave a positive and active response. These community services caused the society of Babakan, Binong, Tangerang to get new options to manage their waste more properly.]]>

<![CDATA[Educational activities introducing coffee plants from bean to cup in community service activities had been carried out at the Integrated Islamic School (SIT) Insantama Leuwiliang, Bogor. The method of implementing activities were carried out in two ways, offline for teacher and online for student participants. Material delivery using presentation methods and simulations coffee cup testing. Evaluation of community service activities were carried out by distributing questionnaires. Evaluation of the results of community service activities at SIT Insantama Leuwiliang showed that community service activities were useful and received good responses from teachers and junior high school students. Submission of materials in introduction to coffee plants is important and has been conveyed clearly. The results of the selection materials, needed for further community service activities are materials related to junior high school students in the form of experiments, making tofu and tempe, effective online learning methods, fruit cultivation, plant cultivation in narrow yard (housing), making hand soap, the introduction of Covid 19 and making of meatballs.]]>

<![CDATA[Margosari village has the Serang River which is a source of income for the community. The catched fish is sold in the form of fresh wader fish at a price of Rp. 7,000.00 to Rp. 9,000.00 / Kg. Selling price and storage capacity of wader fish are very low, so it needs to be increased by diversifying the process into krispi wader as one of the business opportunities. The problems faced by partners are: 1) Limited knowledge and skills regarding the diversification process of wader fish; 2) Packaging method is still simple and does not meet standards; and 3) Marketing process is still carried out by direct selling and has not used online marketing method. This community service program aims to increase knowledge and skills regarding the diversification process of wader fish into krispi wader, packaging technology and online marketing. The methods used in conducting this program were in the form of counseling and training as well as assistance to 20 BUMDes members. Counseling and training activities include: 1) Counseling and training on the diversification of processed wader fish into krispi wader fish; 2) Counseling and packaging training was held to know how to pack and making packaging labels; 3) Marketing training based on online marketing. The benchmarks for the success of this service activity can be seen from the increasing of knowledge and skills regarding the diversification of wader krispi process, knowledge of labels and packaging as well as knowledge of online marketing for members of the Margosari BUMDes group based on pretest and posttest analysis of service activities. The conclusion of this service activity is that the counseling method followed by training methods are effective for members of the Margosari BUMDes group in diversifying their wader fish, labeling and packaging as well as online marketing.]]>

<![CDATA[A group of female fishery in Kuwaru Beach, Bantul processes fishery products into processed products that have a higher economic value. The problems faced by the group are limited marketing and PIRT permits. The purpose of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) is to build a network of partnerships so that the female fishery group become independent and competitive. Initial identification was carried out through in-depth interviews with group leaders and focus group discussions with all group members. The method of the program includes training to improve product quality, PIRT management, digital marketing training, building networks, and the use of a fish meat grinder. The results of this activity are partners have ability to build partnership networks with various institutions, namely local governments, the private sector, and universities. In addition, the group as our partners have been able to use digital marketing in marketing their products and the tools provided to partners make them able to produce processed fish creations, so as to increase the competitiveness of the products produced.]]>
