Abstract

Along with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has had an impact on education which makes it a challenge to continue to improve the quality of education. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the following steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification). The results of this study obtained an illustration that first, planning for improving the quality of education during the COVID-19 pandemic at MIN 5 Bandar Lampung in accordance with each national education standard, it can be seen that in planning the quality management of education it has been done well by forming a drafting team. curriculum. The implementation of quality management is carried out by compiling a madrasa work program as the basis for implementing madrasa activities. The evaluation of improving the quality of education during the covid 19 period at MIN 5 Bandar Lampung is an activity to obtain certainty whether the implementation of education quality improvement activities during the covid 19 period has been carried out according to the original plan and objectives. The last stage of follow-up is to carry out a total evaluation of the target results and process then make some improvements if it turns out that what we have been doing still has shortcomings starting from planning and evaluating at MIN 5 during the covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia is still not improving, although various efforts have been made to improve it, this is because the teacher's responsibility is not only limited to the process of transferring knowledge but one thing that teachers need to pay attention to is their expertise in managing learning, therefore it is necessary implementation of learning management is done well. A professional teacher not only transfers knowledge but also must be able to manage all existing educational resources, especially in the learning process the teacher must be able to manage the learning that will be delivered starting from planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring/evaluating. The author's suggestion for a teacher must also understand the concept of good learning management, the principles of good management, the characteristics of good learning management, and the goals of learning management itself so that it can achieve the goals of education.

Abstract

Quality is something that needs to be considered in the effectiveness of educational institutions. This study aims to: (1) analyze the influence of teachers' perceptions of the role of school principals on improving the quality of early childhood education in Bandar Lampung, (2) analyze the effect of work motivation on improving the quality of early childhood education in Bandar Lampung, and (3) jointly analyze the effect of teachers' perceptions on the role of school principals and work motivation with improving the quality of Early Childhood Education in Bandar Lampung.This study uses a quantitative correlation research method with a sample of 112 teachers from 157 teachers, using a questionnaire as a data collection tool, then analyzed by simple regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistic 23.The results of the study show that (1) there is an influence of teacher perceptions about the role of school principals on improving the quality of Early Childhood Education. (2) There is an effect of teacher work motivation on improving the quality of Early Childhood Education. (3) There is an influence of teachers' perceptions about the role of school principals and teacher work motivation on improving the quality of Early Childhood Education.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the management of students and the strengthening of religious character through learning the yellow book. Is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Sources of information from this study were school principals, subject teachers, deputy curricula, guidance counselors and school students and school cooperative guards concerned. The method used is a qualitative method of case study research. The techniques used in data collection were carried out through non-participatory observation, interviews, and documentation using data analysis which was carried out continuously from the beginning to the end of the study starting from collecting data, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Observation temporary results show that the implementation is applied in strengthening religious character through the yellow book subjects carried out in the madrasa program.

Abstract

This study aims to find out in depth about: 1) Google Meet-based Learning Planning at SMA Negeri 7 Manado. 2) Implementation of learning based on google meet at SMA Negeri 7 Manado. 3) Google Meet-based Learning Evaluation at SMA Negeri 7 Manado. This type of research is field research, the approach used is a qualitative approach. The sources in this research data are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation using inductive qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that: 1) Google meet-based learning planning at SMA Negeri 7 Manado is a subject teacher and arranges materials, media, and learning methods, namely preparing lesson plans, google meet links according to the subject matter. 2) Implementation of Google Meet-based learning at Manado 7 Public High School, namely the teacher delivering material, giving assignments and attendance through the Google Meet application. 3) Evaluation of Google Meet-based learning at Manado 7 Public High School, namely assignments are given via Google Meet and then sent back by students and after being assessed the assignment will be returned to the students again.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how effective the use of the Google Meet application is in the learning process at SD Negeri Matungkas. Selection of learning media determines the effectiveness of learning. This study uses qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely interviews. Interviews were conducted with several teachers and parents of students. After the data was obtained, it was analyzed using Miles and Humberman's theory. The results of the study show that the use of Google Meet in learning at the Matungkas State Elementary School is not very effective. The results of the study show that learning using Google Meet is less effective. This is the ability of the teacher who is not optimal in using Google Meet and the response of students is lacking during the learning process. With such circumstances certainly also affect the activities and learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Principals play an important role in improving teacher work discipline. This is inseparable from the responsibility of the principal as the head of an educational institution. The focus of this research is the principal's strategy for improving teacher discipline, implementing teacher improvement strategies, and evaluating strategies for improving teacher discipline at SDTQ Salsabilah Rejang Lebong. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection methods, namely in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the inductive method with data reduction steps, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and testing. Based on the results of this study, the authors concluded that: (1) The principal's strategy for improving teacher work discipline at SDTQ Salsabilah Rejang Lebong found initial conditions for making plans and in planning or designing the principal held a management meeting and involved all members. (2) Implementation of the principal's strategy in improving teacher discipline at SDTQ Salsabilah Rejang Lebong is carried out by providing prime examples, routine training, motivation, awards, rewards and monitoring processes. (3) Evaluation of the principal's strategy for improving teacher work discipline at SDTQ Salsabilah Rejang Lebong applies internal and external principles.

Abstract

This study reviews strategies related to improving the quality of graduates at SMAN 1 Semende Darat Laut. The purpose of this research is to find out the strategies for improving the quality of graduates from public senior high schools in South Sumatra and the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the quality of graduates. In this study, the type of research used was qualitative research in which the main source of informants was the school principal. The supporting informants were the deputy heads of student affairs and teachers. The data obtained by the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the strategy to improve the quality of public high school graduates in South Sumatra has been going quite well. This can be seen from the strategy implemented, namely an increase in teacher competence, additional learning programs, improvement of sarpas, and extracurricular development. The supporting factors include: establishing good communication between leaders and subordinates, motivation to support continuing education, teachers are all undergraduates, while the inhibiting factors are lack of funds, lack of facilities and infrastructure to support graduation programs, and lack of time in extracurricular activities.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the ilqo' mufrodat activity program runs. This study focused on Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, Campus 7 Kalianda, South Lampung using the Kirkpatrick evaluation model. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with an evaluation research design by observing, interviewing, and reviewing program implementation documents. Sources of information were obtained through interviews with ilqo' mufrodat program supervisors, activity supervisors, and students. The results of the research on the components being evaluated show that the evaluation of the Kirkpatrick model from Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Campus 7 Kalianda, South Lampung has been successfully carried out. This can be seen from the existence of four things in the evaluation: evaluation of reactions, evaluation of learning, evaluation of behavior, evaluation of results. The results of this study indicate that the program is running effectively. As for the hours of sleep of students at night, more attention must be paid, because this will have implications for student activities the next day.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of educational supervision in order to improve the quality of pesantren in the Islamic Boarding School Tahfidz Qur'an Harun Asy-Shafi'i. This study uses a type of qualitative research and case studies as a form of in -depth research. The results showed that in the implementation of supervision activities carried out by the principal with an open meeting all teachers were given the opportunity to issue opinions about learning achievement, and problems faced by the teacher. Conduct class visits to find out the situation and atmosphere of the learning and evaluation process as a whole. The implementation of this supervision is said to be successful if the achievement of the target of the cottage has been achieved.
