Abstract

This study aims to obtain information on efforts to improve high school students creative thinking abilities in physics learning. The review method was chosen to obtain research journals with keywords in students' creative thinking abilities in high school physics learning with Google undergraduate reference sources, hands-on science, and research gates. Twenty-five journals were reviewed based on author (year), research design, creative thinking skills, and findings. Based on a study of 15 international and ten national articles, applying the Problem Based Solving learning model is the most widely used effort to improve creative thinking skills. In addition to Problem-Based Learning, several efforts can be made to enhance creative thinking skills, including implementing Project Based Learning, Creative Problem Solving, and developing physics learning tools. This research can contribute to the world of education, especially in evaluating physics learning.

Abstract

This research aims to see the character of caring for the environment in learning. This research is qualitative research with a systematic literature review type. The data in this study are secondary in the form of research results documents related to this research. The population in this study was obtained from the Google Scholar website with selected article criteria related to the search keywords. The total population obtained is 25 articles from Google Scholar.

Abstract

This study aims to identify how the character of student cooperation through indicators of good listeners and respect for others. This type of research is a mixed-method type of explanatory approach. While the research instrument uses questionnaires and interviews, data analysis uses descriptive tests and descriptions. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The results of the study showed students on the mutually encouraging aspect of the cooperation character indicator Junior High School 16 Muaro Jambi with a percentage of 70% in the good category, Junior High School 18 Kerinci with a percentage of 66% in the good category, Valmiera Secondary School with a percentage of 45% in the very good category, and Valmiera Viesturs secondary school percentage is 54% very good category. Furthermore, students in the aspect of helping each other from the indicator of the character of cooperation Junior High School 16 Muaro Jambi with a percentage of 46% in the very good category, Junior High School 18 Kerinci with a percentage of 75.5% in the good category, Valmiera Secondary School with a percentage of 79.1% in the good category, and Valmiera Viesturs secondary school percentage of 54% very good category.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills must be applied to students to evaluate information in the future. This study aims to describe students' critical thinking abilities in several Jambi and Lankaran schools in temperature and heat. The research method is mixed with a sample of 248 students in Jambi and Lankaran schools. The instruments used to collect quantitative data were essay questions that would be distributed to students. In contrast, qualitative data were obtained from interviews and supported by documentation studies relevant to the research topic. To analyze the data is done with SPSS-assisted descriptive statistics. The results obtained show students' critical thinking skills are high. The limitation of this research is that it only looks at students' critical thinking skills on temperature and heat. So that further research can add variables so that the results can be compared in more depth.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of responsibility character on the learning outcomes of junior high school students' measurement material. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study is students of Junior High School Adhyaksa 1 Jambi City and Escuela Secundaria Diurna, the sample to be used in this study is determined by purposive sampling method, the instrument used is a questionnaire or questionnaire, and the data analysis technique is using regression. The results showed that the character of responsibility and student learning outcomes in the measurement area was significantly influenced. This research can provide new insights into understanding the importance of character development responsibility in improving student learning outcomes. The implications of this research can be the basis for developing learning strategies that are more effective in enhancing the character of Javanese students and improving the learning outcomes of junior high school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is an effect of digital literacy on student learning outcomes in the subject of natural sciences subject matter of motion at Junior high school 19 Jambi City and Marn International School Gambia. This research method uses a quantitative method with an associative research approach. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique, with 45 class VII students in each school as the sample. Data was collected through the use of questionnaires that measure digital literacy variables and student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the digital literacy level of students in Indonesia and Gambia is in a fairly good category. Likewise, student learning outcomes in the two countries are also in the fairly good category. The normality test and linearity test show that the data is normally and linearly distributed. The regression test shows that there is an effect of digital literacy on student learning outcomes in both schools, with a significance value of less than 0.05.

Abstract

A virtual lab, also known as an online or remote lab, is a web-based educational tool simulating actual laboratory experiments and experiences in a digital environment. This virtual laboratory aims to provide students and researchers with a realistic and interactive learning experience without needing physical laboratory equipment and resources. This study aims to prove that the amount of electric current is inversely proportional to resistance or resistance, as Ohm's law applies by using a virtual lab. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach to the experimental method. From this practicum, under Ohm's law, it is proven that the relationship between voltage and current is directly proportional. The greater the voltage, the greater the current, and vice versa. And also, the relationship between resistance and current is inversely proportional. The more excellent the resistance or resistance of a conductor, the smaller the current that will flow through the conductor. Conversely, the smaller the resistance of a conductor, the greater the current that will flow through the conductor. Therefore, the virtual lab can be used as an additional tool to increase students' understanding of Ohm's law and provide students with practical, engaging, and safe learning experiences. As technology advances, virtual laboratories are expected to become more sophisticated and blend with modern education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing interactive multimedia in assessing 4C skills in physics learning. This effectiveness is evaluated from the 4C skills (Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication). This research was conducted because there are still many physics lessons that prioritize mastery of concepts only, which causes a lack of interest in students' learning. Therefore, interactive multimedia is needed, which can make students more enthusiastic about participating in learning through pictures, videos, and moving animations. The method used is a literature study with a quantitative approach. This research is limited to the effect of using interactive multimedia on physics material at the elementary, middle school, high school, and university levels. Researchers obtained 20 references from 2012-2022 from Sinta, Google Scholar, Garuda, and others. From the analysis of the literature study that has been carried out, it is concluded that interactive multimedia significantly influences the assessment of 4C skills (Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication). The significant influence is on critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of electricity in everyday life and its role in the development of modern technology. This research focuses on conducting resistance analysis using constant wire and nichrome wire. The research method used is a quantitative method using experimental methods. Data is measured using a wire to conduct electricity from the power supply or voltage. The results showed a relationship between the wire's length and the conductor's resistance. The longer the wire, the more excellent the opposition to its conduction. In addition, the type of wire also affects the resistance of the conductor, with nichrome wire having a more excellent resistance than constant wire. In conclusion, the value of the resistance of the conductor is proportional to the length of the wire and the type of wire used. However, it should be kept in mind that these conclusions only apply to the experimental situations conducted in this study.

Abstract

In the Talang siring tour of the Pamekasan district, numerous illegal mining operations along the coast for sale and personal use produce building materials with low economic value. However, if the sand is processed further, it will produce materials with high technology utilization and economic value. This research is a preliminary investigation into converting sand into high-value minerals to be utilized economically. Using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) experiments, this study aims to determine the sand's mineral content in the Talang Siring tourist area in Pamekasan Regency. Initial identification is the XRF test function for analyzing sand's chemical elements and composition. The purpose of XRD is to analyze the crystal structure and correlate the results with Macth and origin software based on the XRF results. The results of the XRF test indicated that Silicone had the highest concentration of minerals at 63.8%, followed by Calcium at 29.4% and Iron at 2.45%. The XRD test results indicated that the sand's mineral composition was qualitatively SiO2 90%, CaCO3 8%, Iron 1%, and the remainder 1%.
