Abstract

This research is a literature review. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the use of guided inquiry teaching materials on student learning independence, especially in Physics material. The data in this study are secondary data, namely data obtained from books, journals, articles, and proceedings. Through the review of the information carried out, it was found that guided inquiry teaching materials can encourage students to learn independence in physics material. Teachers are expected to be able to develop guided inquiry teaching materials to train students to learn independence.

Abstract

Science and technology have developed rapidly due to globalization. Almost everyone now has a mobile phone. Therefore the research uses the flexibility of mobile phones that will be implemented to create an application design that will become a means of learning for students. This research aim is to test the feasibility of the design of the Slingshot Simulation application as a learning medium to increase students' conceptual understanding of parabolic motion material. This study uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, the authors limit this research only to the application design stage and then analyze the feasibility validation of the application design by one expert appraiser, two practitioner appraisers, and twenty-seven limited trial respondents. From the results of the feasibility validation of the application design, an average result of 94.53% is obtained. In a sense, the sling shoot simulation application design is feasible to be developed for use.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of collaborative leadership by school principals in improving school learning quality. The research method used is a literature study by collecting data from reliable sources such as scientific journals, books, and official publications. The results show that collaborative leadership can improve the quality of learning by strengthening cooperation and communication between principals, teachers, and students. In collaborative leadership, the principal is a facilitator who encourages active participation from all parties in the decision-making process and program implementation. In addition, principals can also create a school culture that supports collaboration and facilitates teachers' professional development. Recommendations include the importance of collaborative leadership training for principals, the development of a school culture that supports collaboration, and rewards for active participation in the collaborative process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the level of student satisfaction in carrying out online learning by comparing the perspectives of male and female students. This study used a cross sectional survey research method to 329 students in Bengkulu province consisting of 130 male students and 199 female students. Sampling for this study used a random system. The results showed that the highest satisfaction index for female students was the score they got during their activities with an average score of 4.10, on the contrary, they had the lowest score on the belief that they could study independently without face-to-face, which was the lowest point with a score of 3.07. From the male perspective, they were satisfied with the way to connect the previous learning by the teacher with an average score of 3.94 but the same as female students, most male students were also not sure that they would be able to study online.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the ability of students to understand and apply the concept of static fluid. This study aimed to describe the PBL, improve critical thinking skills, and describe the increased ability to understand the concept of static fluid in class nine students at MAN2 Indragiri Hilir with the application of PBL. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to the type of Classroom Action Research. The action given was in the form of applying a PBL, carried out in two cycles. The activities of each cycle include planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in the study were class nine students at the MAN 2 Indragiri Hilir, with a total of 13 students. The research instruments included: lesson plans and worksheets, PBL implementation sheets, field note formats, process skills observation sheets, and end-of-cycle tests. The study results show that applying the PBL can improve students' critical thinking skills at MAN 2 Indragiri Hilir. The analysis results show an increase in critical thinking aspects. Namely, in the first cycle, the average value is 80.80 with good criteria, and the second cycle has an average value of 93.00 with very good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between teacher teaching skills and students' interest in learning physics at senior high school 2 Batanghari. The method used is the quantitative method, the type of research used is correlational, the sample in this study is teachers and students of senior high school 2 Batanghari, the instrument used is a questionnaire, and the data analysis technique is descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of this study indicate that the teaching skills of physics teachers and the learning interests of physics students have a significant relationship.

Abstract

Misconception is one of the causes of a student's learning difficulties. This study aimed to obtain information about whether there were students' misconceptions about work and energy and the factors that caused these misconceptions. The population of this research is class X Negeri 1 Kupang students. The data collection technique used in this study was a written test instrument with multiple choices, totaling 10 questions and documentation. This research method uses quantitative research with research data consisting of quantitative data and qualitative data. The subjects of this study were class X SMA Negeri 1 Kupang students. Data collection methods include tests and documentation of student work. The four-tier diagnostic test consists of 4 levels: questions with answer choices, choice of answer confidence level, choice of reasons, and choice of confidence level of reason. The results of the study show that the category of misconceptions about work and energy by students of SMA Negeri 1 Kupang is in the moderate category.

Abstract

Positive education is an implementation of positive psychology which is a study related to happiness and well-being, namely using the PERMA model developed by Seligman in 2011. In the context of education, positive psychology has had a positive impact with the emergence of positive education which has even been adapted by Indonesia's new curriculum, namely Merdeka Belajar. In positive education, our goal is not only to improve student achievement in terms of cognitive and student skills, but how well-being and positive character of students are also a big consideration in order to increase Indonesian students' interest in learning. Not only the teacher's efforts but students have also been introduced to Positive Psychology in order to explore the positive character strengths of students. Future researchers can certainly examine more deeply the use of independent learning in the long term and how it affects learning in schools, especially learning physics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of critical thinking skills on student learning outcomes. Researchers conducted research using quantitative methods and associative approaches. The instruments used were questionnaires and question sheets given to students to see student responses to the variables used. The research sample is 22 State Junior High School 1 Muaro Jambi class IX students. The results obtained prove that there is an influence of critical thinking skills on student learning outcomes at State Junior High School 1 Muaro Jambi. The update from the current research is in the method used, which shows more precise results based on the data obtained from the sample. The limitations of this study are the small number of research samples and less varied results. So, recommendations for further research to be able to add research samples and the results obtained are better.

Abstract

The method used is System Literature Review. This method is used with the intention of identifying, evaluating and synthesizing research results and ideas that have been produced by researchers and practitioners. Data collection techniques using literature studies. Sampling data was collected by looking for several scientific articles from the results of previous researchers' research experimentally, descriptively, or developmental research, based on literature studies, to be studied further and conclusions drawn from the research topics studied. The article review process in this study discusses the scope of evaluation of high school students' spectacle learning. The instruments used in data collection included a review of scientific articles sourced from the last 25 references from Google Scholar, hands-on science, and article research gates reviewed by researchers who focused on the topic. researched. Then data analysis was carried out in this study using a synthetic matrix.
