Abstract

The purpose of this development is to find out how to develop of the 3D electronic module pageflipp professional on straight motion material based on multiple representations. This type of research is research and development (R&D) research development using the  ADDIE model. The subjects in this study were high school students in Class X at Muaro Jambi 11 High School. In this research development the questionnaire used was a closed questionnaire, in which the response was only asked to select the answers provided in the questionnaire. In this research development there are two questionnaires used, namely questionnaire for material experts (content), and perception questionnaire media for students. Qualitative data analysis is performed on the data collected, based on suggestions and comments from the validator. Quantitative data were obtained from the results of the distribution of questionnaires to students, with several alternative answer choices according to the Likert scale. The result of feasibility of the material expert validator were 86,67% with the very good category. The results of the feasibility of the media expert validator are 87% with the very good category. The results of students perceptions of the professional 3D pageflipp electronic module based on multirepresentation materials showed that 16 students responded very well and 14 students responded well.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the POE2WE model that was integrated with the tsunami disaster on traveling wave and stationary waves. This research uses literature study method. The POE2WE model is integrated with the tsunami disaster on traveling wave material and stationary waves following the steps of prediction, observation, explanation, elaboration, write and evaluation. The POE2WE learning stages make it easier for teachers to facilitate students to learn wave material. Students can understand the concept of traveling waves and stationary waves by constructing their own knowledge which is directly related to real problems in everyday life.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the effect of ACE strategy (Activities, Class Discussion, Exercise) toward students achievement in physics learning at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene. The type of this research was quasi experimental. The sample of this research was X MIA1 class as experimental class (27 students) and X MIA 2 class as the control class (27 students). The research instrument is a student learning achievement test. The hypothesis test was done with the t-test. The result showed that students achievement in physics learning at experimental class have high category, meanwhile students achievement in physics learning at control class has medium category. Based on the hypothesis test can be concluded that there are significant different between a group who was taught by using the ACE strategy and the group who was taught by using conventional learning method.

Abstract

The presence of pollutants is a serious threat to health. One of the pollutants in influencing air quality is carbon monoxide gas. Most of the carbon monoxide comes from motor vehicle exhaust emissions. The purpose of this research is to make a vehicle carbon monoxide gas emission measurement tool using the TGS 822 gas sensor. The research method begins with the hardware design using the TGS822 gas sensor as a carbon monoxide gas sensor then processed with an arduino uno microcontroller and data transfer by bluetooth. The results of the reading of pollutant values ​​are then processed with a microcontroller and displayed on a computer screen using a Bluetooth connector so that it can be monitored in real time. Data obtained from the test results are then analyzed using a regression equation by comparing with data from the reading of standard measuring instruments. The results of testing the instrument shows the value of the regression equation y = -0,0641x ± 38.438 with a value of R2 = 0, 9997. These results show a strong correlation between the data from the CO meter with the CO gas emission gauge that has been made.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of pedagogical content knowledge students of Physics Education Jambi University who take School Field Practices (SFP). This research was a survey research. The population of this research was 85 students who are taking SFP. The number of samples used was 20% of the population. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the students' pedagogical content knowledge ability was in a good category. Aspects of pedagogical content knowledge consist of subject matter knowledge, instruction representation and strategies, instructional objective and context and knowledge of student understanding.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the concept of science that was found in local wisdom, and integrate local wisdom into the science of the sciences. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject in this study was the community figure of Suban Village and science education expert. Data collection was done through interviews and documentation. Data was analyzed descriptively. Lubuk Larangan “Tantang Sakti” is the local wisdom of Suban village in preserving of fish and watershed. Lubuk Larangan is a watershed area that has been agreed by the community and traditional institutions that regulate the prohibition of fishing in the river. Lubuk Larangan “Tantang Sakti” becomes a conservation area for kapiat/lampam fish (Barbonymus schwanenfeldii). Lubuk Larangan can be integrated in science learning on the topics of environmental conservation, ecosystems, and fluids.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of PBL learning models on student learning outcomes in light material. This type of research is an experimental study with a post-test only control group design. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Ambulu. The study population was all class VIII SMPN 1 Ambulu, sampling using a homogeneity test. Student learning outcomes data were collected using post-test questions and analyzed using the Independent Sampe T-test with a significance level of 5%. The results of data analysis on the Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test showed that the two study samples were normally distributed, so that the parametric statistical test was then the Independent Sample T-test. The results of the analysis with the Independent Sample T-test show that there is a significant influence on the PBL learning model on student learning outcomes in light material.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the PhET application which is equipped with worksheets about motion and force for science learning in junior high schools. This type of research is descriptive which is conducted on 8th grade junior high school students in one of junior high school in Lumajang Regency. The effectiveness of learning is shown from learning activities and increasing students’achievement. Data were collected by observation and test techniques. Learning activity data were analyzed descriptively using percentages and increasing students’ achievement were analyzed with normalized gain (Ng). One group pre-test and post-plan design are used in the data collection process. The results showed that the average student learning activity for four activity indicators (visual, mental, motor, and emotional) was 79,94% included in the good category and the average increase in learning outcomes was 0.67 (medium category). The conclusion of this study is the learning of science of motion and force in junior high school by using the PhET application is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes and the average student learning activity become good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning learning model on student physics learning outcomes. The research subjects were 30 students of class X Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Riung in the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is quantitative. Ex-post facto research design that is causal. The data obtained are data on student learning outcomes in physics lessons. Data analysis carried out is normality test and t test. The results of hypothesis testing, obtained data t (countable) 9,403 the value of degrees of freedom is 29. The value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. Significant value (sig. 2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted (the proposed hypothesis is accepted). The results of these calculations can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the discovery learning model on the physics learning outcomes of class X Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Riung.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of creative thinking skills in class X SMK Negeri 7 Ende. This type of research is descriptive research. The research subjects were students of class X AP, totaling 23 people. The data obtained are in the form of test scores for creative thinking skills. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the ability to think creatively for all indicators was obtained an average of 90.2% in the very creative category. The creative thinking skills studied include flexible, fluent, original thinking, detailing and evaluating.
