Abstract

Basically, parents and teachers expect their children to be independent and disciplined in their daily lives. Independent behavior and discipline in early childhood still need support and assistance from adults in order to develop optimally. To make this happen, then certainly there must be prepared the right form of support in developing children's independence and discipline. Independence and discipline need to be instilled from an early age because it is the most potential age to learn new things. Provide support so that children are independent and disciplined in the form of guidance. Independence and discipline behavior of these students can experience change through the right way. One way to develop the character of students' independence and discipline is through the teacher's skills in guiding students during the learning process. Achievement of teacher guidance is an effort in strengthening the development of independence and discipline of children in the future. This study uses action research method. Research Results show the influence of teachers in guiding students can develop the character of independence and discipline. This can be seen by the changes in the independence and discipline of students from cycles I, II, III. So that it can be concluded that the learning process through teacher guidance can develop the character of students' independence and discipline. Keywords: Teacher Guidance, Independence, Discipline and Early Childhood.  Abstrak Pada dasarnya orangtua dan guru mengharapkan anak-anaknya dapat mandiri dan disiplin dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Perilaku mandiri dan disiplin pada anak usia dini masih memerlukan dukungan dan bantuan dari orang dewasa agar dapat berkembang secara optimal. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, maka tentu harus dipersiapkan bentuk dukungan yang tepat dalam mengembangkan kemandirian dan kedisiplinan anak. Kemandirian dan kedisiplinan perlu ditanamkan sejak usia dini karena merupakan usia yang paling potensial dalam mempelajari hal-hal yang baru. Memberikan dukungan agar anak mandiri dan disiplin dilaksanakan dalam bentuk bimbingan. Perilaku kemandirian dan kedisiplinan siswa tersebut dapat mengalami perubahan melalui cara yang tepat. Salah satu cara untuk mengembangan karakter kemandirian dan kedisiplinan siswa yaitu melalui keterampilan guru dalam membimbing siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Ketercapaian bimbingan guru menjadi suatu upaya dalam memperkuat pengembangan kemandirian dan kedisiplinan anak di masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh guru dalam membimbing siswa dapat mengembangkan karakter kemandirian dan kedisiplinan anak. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan adanya perubahan kemandirian dan kedisiplinan siswa dari siklus I, II, III. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran melalui bimbingan guru dapat mengembangkan karakter kemandirian dan kedisiplinan siswa. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Guru, Kemandirian, Kedisiplinan dan Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya mengenai integrasi pengenalan budaya Sunda dalam pembelajaran di tingkat anak usia dini. Adapun literatur-literatur yang dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini adalah literatur berbentuk artikel yang dipublikasikan antara rentang waktu 2019-2022. Pencarian dalam database Google Scholar  memunculkan sejumlah 787 literatur, dan hanya 9 artikel jurnal yang dipilih untuk dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, elemen-elemen dari budaya Sunda yang sudah dikenalkan dalam pembelajaran di kalangan anak usia dini, di antaranya, adalah bahasa Sunda, alat transportasi tradisional, alat bertani tradisional, tarian dan permainan tradisional, serta seni tradisional. Pengenalan budaya Sunda tersebut diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran yang bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan anak dalam aspek-aspek perkembangan tertentu, yaitu bahasa, fisik motorik, kognitif, dan sosial emosional. Mempertimbangkan karakter pendidikan anak usia dini yang holistik integratif, pengenalan budaya Sunda memiliki potensi untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran yang menargetkan peningkatan beberapa aspek perkembangan anak secara simultan.

Abstract

Honest character is one of the characters that needs to be introduced to children from an early age. Honest character can accustom children to act as they are and not lie. To instill the character value of honesty in early childhood can be through a good example or model. The model itself can be a film or an individual who can provide a positive example for children. The animated film Hafiz and Hafizah is one of the films that presents positive content about good behavior for early. Such honest behavior. So indirectly children can get to know honest characters through an animated film. The purpose of this research is to describe and find out the results of honest character analysis in the animated film Hafiz and Hafizah. This study uses a qualitative approach, with qualitative descriptive research methods through content analysis techniques for the animated films Hafiz and Hafizah by observing and recording through showing episodes from 2020 to 2022. There are five episodes from the animated films Hafiz and Hafizah, namely 1) trusting a wallet, 2) greed becomes a problem, 3) Hafiz's smart pen is missing, 4) the bazzar for goodness, and 5) an Islamic children's song, let's tell the truth. The results of research on honest character analysis in the animated film Hafiz and Hafizah contain honest characters that are suitable for early childhood such as be and tell the truth, admit mistakes and apologize for mistakes that have been made.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The earthquake disaster in Indonesia is a major concern for parents who want to provide disaster knowledge to their children. The purpose and focus of this research are to find out the form of parental involvement in providing earthquake knowledge so that it can broaden knowledge and change children's attitudes toward dealing with earthquakes. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted on parents in Majalaya, West Java. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that parental involvement through forms of communication, motivation, facilities, assistance, and volunteering in providing earthquake knowledge using the Babybus application gradually increases knowledge and changes children's behavior in anticipating earthquake disasters. Considering the frequent disasters, the cooperation of parents in providing care and concern for the condition of the living environment in Majalaya really supports parents in imparting earthquake knowledge to children. It is necessary to have proper management of the time for assistance and a stable condition of the child in receiving knowledge so that the child is able to adapt to the environment and face disaster preparedness.Keywords: Parent Involvement, Earthquake, Babybus App, Early Childhood ABSTRAK Bencana gempa bumi di Indonesia menjadi perhatian utama bagi orang tua untuk memberikan pengetahuan kebencanaan pada anak. Tujuan dan fokus penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bentuk keterlibatan orang tua dalam memberikan pengetahuan gempa bumi sehingga dapat menambah wawasan dan merubah sikap anak dalam menghadapi terjadinya gempa bumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang dilaksanakan pada orang tua di Majalaya, Jawa Barat. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Keterlibatan orang tua melalui bentuk komunikasi, motivasi, fasilitas, pendampingan, dan menjadi relawan (volunteer) dalam memberikan pengetahuan gempa bumi dengan menggunakan aplikasi babybus, secara bertahap menambah pengetahuan dan perubahan perilaku anak dalam mengantisipasi bencana gempa bumi. Mempertimbangkan kebencanaan yang sering terjadi, kerjasama orang tua dalam memberikan pengasuhan dan kepedulian dengan kondisi lingkungan tempat tinggal di Majalaya sangat mendukung orang tua dalam memberikan pengetahuan gempa bumi pada anak. Diperlukan manajemen waktu pendampingan yang tepat dan kondisi anak yang stabil dalam menerima pengetahuan, agar anak mampu menyesuaikan diri dalam lingkungan untuk menghadapi kesiapsiagaan bencana.Kata Kunci: Keterlibatan Orangtua, Gempa Bumi, Aplikasi Babybus, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0 brought many challenges for students, one of which was that students were required to have an independent, creative and innovative character so that after graduation they would not only act as job seekers but could create jobs. To form the character of students who are independent, creative and innovative, practical and practical workshops are needed so that the results of the workshops can be directly applied in the real world. The bouquet snack making workshop is an interesting and practical workshop to learn in a short time. In line with one of the independent learning campus independent programs (MBKM), namely the independent entrepreneur program, the workshop for making bouquet snacks can provide skills for students so that after graduation they have additional skills and expertise that can be used to create jobs because making bouquet snacks is relatively easy.

Abstract

Abstract This research is background by lack of a study of parental involvement in learning at school. So far, there are still  parents who are not very aware that actually, parents have a very important role in the child's learning process. This research was aims to describe the involvement of parents during the process in learning activities at school. There are three main subfocuses studied, (1) identify the diversity of understanding parents in learning process, (2) map the process of parental accompaniment to reflected in parentalod involvement learning activities, (3) see the impact of involvement parents based on evaluation of the process of accompaninment from parent in children learning activities. The research method employed was descriptive qualitative research with analysis with interactive analysis model. The data collection technique is done through observasion, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that: (1) parental involvement is reflected based on parenting and continuity of parenting generated through knowledge in parenting activities at school, (2) accompaniment parents in the process of learning children starting from beginning, core activities to closing shows the characteristics of parents divided into three, namely knowing through companion, not knowing but wanting to ask and not knowing not asking. (3) from the picture,it is reflected that the process evaluation of parent involvement is in the medium category, so that of periodic involvement of parent, in addition to providing psychological support to children also provides learning the information needed through experience as an accompaniment.

Abstract

The background of this research is the number of PAUD institutions that have been established but are not matched by qualified human resources (teachers). Therefore, the purpose of this study was to obtain an overview and information about the performance of PAUD teachers in implementing the standards for the level of achievement of child development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. The study concludes that there is a lack of understanding of teachers regarding aspects of professional and pedagogic competence, an imbalance in the ratio of teachers and children and the use of learning resources is limited to textbooks so that the assessment is only sourced from summative and portfolio tests so that it tends to emphasize the field of basic ability development, and the obstacles faced by teachers. PAUD is mostly due to external factors.

Abstract

Nilai moral Pancasila sebaiknya dikenalkan sejak anak usia dini, agar kelak anak mampu membiasakan dan mengimplemtasikan perilaku yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Tujuan dan fokus penelitian ini yaitu pada peran guru sebagai pembimbing dalam menanamkan nilai moral Pancasila saat proses pembelajaran, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di RA Baeturridlwan. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis deskripsi dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran peran guru sebagai pembimbing. Hasilnya guru mampu melakukan perannya sebagai pembimbing dengan cara  mengintegrasikan nilai moral Pancasila melalui proses pembelajaran yang menekankan kepada perubahan sikap toleransi, sopan dan santun serta menjaga kebersihan diri dan lingkungan. Orang tua menjadi faktor pendukung utama dengan memberikan contoh perilaku yang baik serta penguatan terhadap tata tertib atau peraturan di rumah. Lingkungan pergaulan yang kurang baik, kesadaran diri yang belum optimal, serta kurangnya pengawasan dari guru menjadi hambatan dalam menanamkan nilai moral Pancasila. Nilai moral Pancasila dapat meresap kesanubari anak usia dini melalui hubungan atau sinergi antara pendidik, orang tua dan lingkungan yang berorientasi pada pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of the teacher's role in developing the character of early childhood independence. So the purpose of this study is to find out the character of children's independence, to find out the role of the teacher during the learning process in developing the character of children's independence, to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in developing the character of children's independence. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Collection techniques through observation techniques interviews and documentation. The data sources of this research are group B teachers, group B3 students. Furthermore, in data analysis techniques, researchers use the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the independence of group B children was in accordance with their developmental stages, in physical abilities shown by the ability of children to wear their own shoes, responsible as evidenced by the child's ability when doing tasks from the teacher the child tries to complete it, sociable can be seen from the child's ability to socialize with classmates even though school has only been held for two weeks but children have been able to socialize and discipline, able to express opinions, control emotions reasonably. The role of the teacher in developing independence is as a model, guide, trainer, motivator and assessor and the supporting factors in developing children's independence are the role of educators, learning strategies, learning methods, and adequate facilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi Komunitas Bank Sampah Bumi Inspirasi dalam membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan anak usia dini melalui program Kang Pisman (Kurangi, Pisahkan, dan Manfaatkan Sampah) di TPA Bumi Inspirasi Learning Center, Kota Bandung. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang dilaksanakan pada Mei–Juli 2024. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa edukasi oleh komunitas bank sampah berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran anak-anak tentang pengelolaan sampah melalui praktik membawa wadah makan sendiri, memilah sampah sesuai jenisnya, serta memanfaatkan sampah menjadi barang yang bernilai guna, seperti kompos. Pengintegrasian nilai-nilai program Kang Pisman ke dalam kurikulum TPA dilakukan melalui aktivitas pembiasaan dan media kreatif seperti lagu dan cerita. Kesimpulannya, kolaborasi antara komunitas bank sampah dan lembaga pendidikan efektif dalam menanamkan karakter peduli lingkungan pada anak usia dini, sekaligus mendorong perilaku ramah lingkungan di masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Bank Sampah, Karakter Peduli Lingkungan, Anak Usia Dini
