Abstract

This research is entitled "The influence of Quantum Learning Models on Students Critical Thinking Ability. The problem in this research is the ability of students' critical thinking in the learning process is low, especially on science subjects in IV grade of SDIT PERSIS 99 Rancabango. It's caused by conventional learning that makes class become static and monotonous so that students aren't trained to solve a contextual question, requires reasoning, argumentation and creativity in completing it. Thís research aims to find out the influence of Quantum Learning model on students critical thinking skills of science learning in IV grade.The research used method of Quasi Experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique in this research is Total Sampling, which is the entire population used as a sample in research with class IVA as a control group with 25 students and class IVB as an experimental group with 25 students, so the total sample in this research amounted to 50 students. The instrument used in this research are test, it is multiple choice questions and description questions. The Technical analysis in this research used t-test to find out whether the Quantum Learning model of learning influences students' critical thinking abilities. The results showed the Quantum Learning model of learning had a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills in Natural Sciences subject of IV grade in SDIT PERSIS 99 Rancabango on the subject of Conservation of Natural Resources and the environment. This is based on the result of calculate data from both of group class, there are differences in the price of tcount with ttable, where tcount> ttable or 6.37> 2.02. So it can be concluded that the application of the Quantum Learning model can influence students' critical thinking skills in the cognitive aspects of science learning of students in fourth grade of SDIT persis 99 Rancabango

Abstract

IPS with floor plans and maps of the surrounding environment. After applying the cooperative learning model of the Snowball Throwing Type, the sample classes were students in class III-A as the experimental class and class III-B as the control class. The data collected from observations used observation sheets and questionnaire sheets. Collecting data from observations using the average formula, it is known that the students' teaching and learning process using the Snowball Throwing learning model, the results of the observations of students in the first meeting showed an average score of 69.5 students' skills. The second meeting was 72.9, and the third meeting was 81.2. Questionnaire data on student responses to learning using the Snowball Throwing Cooperative Learning model obtained data on the total score of the questionnaire score as a whole amounted to 2058 from 20 respondents with an average of 102.9 and the total percentage score of the overall questionnaire score was 16.4811 with an average of 82 based on on the criteria of Very Good.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide insight into knowledge about learning strategies during the AKB period in Elementary School Malangbong Garut District, by providing insight into the importance of solving learning problems related to professional development to increase professionalism for educators during the adaptation of new habits. The problem is resolved in three stages of activities, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of community service activities show the level of success with an indication of a similar mindset of SD / MI / equivalent educators, a positive response from community service participants related to solving learning problems during the AKB period, and most (75%) participants have understood the concept of developing learning strategies what to do during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Buku teks merupakan bagian penting dalam proses pembelajaran karena menjadi pedoman dan alat bagi guru dan siswa untuk memahami konteks-konteks pembelajaran yang sedang diajarkan. Dalam perannya sebagai media untuk membantu pemahaman peserta didik atau siswa dan membantu guru untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan pembelajaran yang sedang diajarkan, tingkat keterbacaan yang sesuai dengan jenjang kelas memiliki dampak yang krusial untuk memastikan siswa mampu memahami konteks dengan bahasa yang sudah disesuaikan dengan kemampuan kognitif mereka termasuk di antaranya adalah buku-buku tematik yang mengkatikan pembelajaran dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Peneliti melakukan penelitian pada buku tematik Tema 1 – 4 untuk kelas 3 SD/MI edisi revisi 2018 dengan menggunakan teknik analisa deskriptif kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan grafik fry sebagai acuan. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti menemukan bahwa hanya 7 dari 16 total subtema dari buku atau 43,75% dari seluruh subtema yang sesuai sehingga diperlukan perbaikan pada penulisan buku-buku di cetakan selanjutnya agar dapat lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan.

Abstract

Based on the results of pre-observations, that the social skills of fifth grade students of SDN 2 Mekarasih in interacting, communicating, building teams / groups and solving problems are still low (lacking). This can affect student activity in the online learning process which is also a new challenge for teachers to be able to develop students' social skills. This study aims to determine the development of these four students 'social skills in online learning and to determine the contribution of online learning activities to the development of students' social skills. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a naturalistic approach, using questionnaires and interviews as data collection tools. The results showed that the social skills of fifth grade students of SDN 2 Mekarasih in these four aspects were included in the strong category with a total score of 76.47%, as for the contribution of online learning activities, the results obtained were able to assist teachers in developing students' social skills by based on learning activities carried out in groups can develop these four aspects of social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of popup book media in mathematics learning. The participants were low-class students at Kp. Babakan Bungbulang which was held in a learning family. Desscriptive qualitative is used as a research method by collecting data using observations, questionnaires and wawancra. Triangulation of data used is 1) to see the analysis of media usage to learners whether it is classified as a good media used it is based on the results of interview tests and questionnaires, 2) The results showed that the learners greatly appreciated the popup book learning media applied in mathematics learning that has been carried out in the second observation. This shows that the results of this popup book media analysis research can help students in learning with increased learning ability, especially in mathematics learning

Abstract

In today’s information age, the ability for creativity is one of the competencies that every student must have. However, science learning in elementary schools has not provided many opportunities for students to develop this ability. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to improve students' creative abilities, one of which is by using herbarium learning media. The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility of herbarium learning media in increasing students' creativity in science learning in elementary schools. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire, observation sheets, and interviews. The results of the questionnaire data processing show that the creativity of students when seen in general in science learning using herbarium learning media, as well as from each indicator, and the attitude scale of each individual shows creative interpretation with 70% of students getting the creative category and 30% of students getting the very category creative. Overall, the quality of herbarium learning media is very suitable to be used to support learning in increasing student creativity in science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated because some students still find it difficult to count, especially in multiplication, this has an impact on learning motivation, therefore researchers are interested in this study which aims to improve numeracy skills and student motivation in learning to count through learning with Jarimatika. This study involved 6 students consisting of 3 participants from class III and 3 participants from class IV. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This data was obtained by means of tests, motivation questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis technique in this study uses the process of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion / verification. As for the results of the research using Jarimatika in numeracy skills for class III, the learning activities are practicing Jarimatika, printing fingers and arranging puzzles with an average score of 8.77 and for grade IV the learning activities are matching pictures, pasting cards and the circumference of Nusantara with the average score. 8.66. Meanwhile, for the result of learning motivation for class III gets an interpretation value of 3.22 which is classified into the "Good" category, and for class IV gets an interpretation value of 3.36 belonging to the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

The focus in this research is trying to explain 1) the implementation of distance learning in terms of the teacher's teaching experience 2) the effectiveness of distance learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, the subject is elementary school teachers grades 4-6. Data collection was carried out by interviewing and documenting the resource persons. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that 1) the implementation of learning carried out by teachers was not optimal, this was due to planning related to learning objectives, as well as understanding and application of models, methods, techniques, media and evaluation tools that were carried out still feeling conventional without any innovations related to distance learning. far 2) the effectiveness of learning is said to have not been effective in its implementation because of several things such as a) students are not ready to carry out learning, b) less than optimal delivery of material c) student economic factors that affect the learning media used, and d) lack of student and parental responses related to teacher delivery.

Abstract

Conceptual understanding is a person's ability to understand what is taught, capture the meaning of what is learned, and utilize the contents of the material being studied, as well as solve problems related to the material being studied. This study aims to determine the effect of using picture and puzzle media on conceptual understanding in social studies lessons in elementary schools. This research method is Quasi Experimental Design, this research instrument uses a test to measure conceptual understanding. The sample in this study was 20 students of class VA as the control class and 20 students of class VC as the experimental class. Data analysis techniques used the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test and t-Test. The results of the study showed that the application of picture media and puzzle games on students' conceptual understanding in social studies learning was better and showed a significant effect than those who did not use learning media. This is evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test, namely to 2.03> 1.90 for conceptual understanding. There is a difference between the control class and experimental class, the test results of the experimental class are greater than the control class. So it can be said that picture media and puzzle games can be used as an alternative in the learning process in the classroom.
